Canada Goose Sherbrooke parka

Purchased Sherbrooke parka - coat wore down to the seam binding under the arms and at cuffs. Fabric wore away leaving tiny holes. Parka was replaced. After one year of wear, the exact same problems occurred. Fabric is wearing away over snaps, under arms, at cuffs, over zipper on the storm flap. Tiny holes, down escaping. Company refuses to do anything stating this is the normal “patina” of the product.

About 5 years ago my wife and I each bought the heavy winter coats. Best winter coats we ever had. suggest everyone purchase one. In June for our anniversary we decided to purchase two additional coats for when it's in the 40 degree temps. We were anxious to have some cold weather to wear our new jackets. When I began to wear it in November, feathers began coming through the jacket. Then again and again. Finally a large hole appeared in the front. about one inch in size. Called CG. they couldn't have cared less. Wanted $35 dollars to clean coat, send it to them, and then they would decide what action to take, if any. If you buy four coats, for about $4,000, perhaps showing some concern or interest to your customer might be in order. I'm a 78 year old man, not rough on things, and either the material is poor or something in the manufacturing process is off. So now I'm stuck with a beautiful almost $1,000 jacket that isn't wearable. It will be interesting to see how responsive they are to this email. Perhaps contacting my attorney is the answer.

Canada Goose Poor quality and the worst customer service

Two months ago, my son wanted to give his mom a very nice Christmas present, he bought her a Canada Goose jacket, 1,000 cad... my wife only wore it twice, and it started to unravel, the seams started to break , incredible. Being a top brand, we went to the warehouse to request a guarantee, we expected them to simply change it, they only received it and informed us that they would notify us later... they told us that there could be charges for the repair, which I refused and I told them that the quality was very bad, that must be a guarantee, the man who attended me told me that they would let me know... A big surprise for us that he informed us via email afterwards that they have to wash it and that costs around 40 Cad , and they also inform us that the guarantee does not cover the repair... That we have to pay around 80 cad more, plus the washing... I can't believe it, what kind of guarantee is that? A jacket of such poor quality, that it breaks at the seams with two uses, at a cost of 1,000 cad and has no real guarantee?... It's incredible, Walmart has a better guarantee and the convenience of the corner .. .. Never buy a jacket there, they really are expensive, bad, and with lousy customer service.

Canada Goose Coat - customer services

After years of hesitation, my wife and I took the decision to buy a coat each. In addition to a customer service in shop that was not necessarily at the level of a premium brand (unpleasant saleswoman, no advice)

I was surprised to discover, 2 months after my purchase, that my coat was losing feathers all over (inside and outside) through the seams (seams that were pulling out of the sleeves)
Here I am, back in the Paris shop, and I learn that the article is not exchangeable and that it must be sent under warranty (without having the guarantee that it will be in warranty?) for 5 weeks. It's very practical to send a coat for 5 weeks in the middle of winter, it will be more useful in spring...

In short, and now to top it all off, Canada Goose has the temerity to ask for a cleaning fee before treating the problem. Besides the fact that I find this aberrant for a premium brand to claim anything for a coat bought €1400, this practice is illegal from a French law point of view.In addition, Canada Goose is legally supposed to rectify the problem within 30 days (whereas their announced delay is 5 weeks). I was very disappointed and expected much more from a brand of this standing. I think we can find much better elsewhere and at this price.

Canada Goose Women's Salida Rain Jacket

I have purchased three Canada Goose jackets in the last 2 years - including the Salida Rain Jacket. I have recommended these jackets to everyone I’ve met as I believed so strongly in not only the quality but also the backing provided by the company via the warranty.

Last month I met someone who had the same rain coat in the same colour - red - and was shocked to see her coat was so much brighter than mine. I knew the colour of my coat had faded - despite only being 1.5 years old - but I was shocked to see how different the colour was - when I compared it directly to the same one. Especially since I’ve only worn the jacket around the city and have taken very good care of it. It was honestly shocking to see the colour difference. Mine is faded and has almost a white coating. I was aware the colour had changed - which shocked me - but comparing it directly to another coat was shocking.

Customer Service told me to send it to the warranty center. I did this - at a cost of $55 - and they’ve replied to say there is no problem. I’ve exchanged multiple emails and each is more and more unhelpful. I asked to escalate my complaint and again was met by only passive aggressive responses.

Why on earth would I risk damage sending my coat - not to mention the cost - if there was no problem. I’m honestly disappointed and disgusted. To make matters worse, I wrote a review explaining this on the Canada Goose website, only to receive an email saying it wouldn’t be posted. Clearly only good reviews get posted.

Honestly I’ve never been so disappointed in a company in my life!

Desired outcome: Replacement or at the very least paying for mg postage cost and treating me with respect vs the passive aggressive, condensing responses I got.

Canada Goose Useless refund system

I ordered an item which I returned as it ripped and wad only worn twice the item was £450 refund was requested in March I received £375 by 6th April. I brought to the attention of customer support it was £75 short to which said the difference would be given it is now the end of July and I keep getting fobbed off with waiting for FD to respond it's now nearly 4 months waiting. It's absolutely unacceptable I'm even getting ignored by customer services now.

Canada Goose My Canada goose is fading

I bought a. A Canada goose coat and every seam it has faded. I sent it to their authorised dry cleaners and it faded really bad , I spoke with their warranty department and they won’t replace as it’s normal wear and tear which is ridiculous as I only wore it a few times and. Is it’s in wearable

I don’t no what to do as they will not replace it any suggestions

Canada Goose Rossclair Parka

I bought this jacket 2 years ago and had it cleaned by a recommeded Canada Goose Dry Cleaning company for the first time.

Prior to cleaning the jacket, the dry cleaning representative mentioned that there is a risk that edges of the jacket may become white after dry cleaning and this is a common problem with this type of jacket.

After cleaning, the side pockets and seams around my sleeves did indeed have white stains.

I am not sure what is the point of purchasing a jacket that can't be professionally cleaned without having discolouration.

Canada Goose The company doesn't refund my money

I bought a very expensive Parka coat on December 9, 2021 and returned it by DHL after a few days. On December 14,2021 Canada Goose received the item. it is now February 2022 , the item was returned more that 6 weeks ago and I still haven’t received my money. I contacted them many times but they didn’t reply to my emails and on the phone they keep promising that they are giving a high priority to my case but after that nothing happens and they still don’t refund my money. It seems that they are holding to people’s money in this way as apparently I am not the first person with this problem.

Canada Goose Navy coat

I called Canada Goose because my item said delivered when I never signed for nor received it. It was a christmas gift for my husband (I now have no gift for him) They took forever to respond to my emails. Promised to call back and never did and when I finally spoke with someone they said too bad basically. Will not issue a reshipment or offer a refund. I am now out of 950 dollars. I asked to speak with a supervisor they told me none were available. It is astounding this is the type of service they provide and still have customers. I am beyond disgusted. They are a bunch of greedy money hungry individuals I will never support them again and will use all of my efforts to spread the word. Canada Goose sucks!

Canada Goose Not receiving my coat and mittens

I had a jacket and mittens ordered from the Chicago store on Oct 30, 2021 and still have not received my items. I have called several times and was told my issue was escalated and someone would call back within 48 hrs. It's been over 3 weeks and I still have not received a return call. I was also told that the items were lost with UPS and an investigation was opened.
I would like a refund immediately.
Canada Goose has provided POOR customer service and lack of communication.

While at the store in Chicago, I ordered a jacket and mittens for $1500 on Oct 30, 2021 and still have not received the items. I have called several times and am told i will get a call back within 48 hrs and 30 days later, i still have not received a call back. Each time i call, i am told the same thing, "you will get a call back" and not sure why no one has called back yet. This is unacceptable

Canada Goose Lies/censorship

Tried to buy a parka, but with no luck (see below). After some time got an email asking to leave comment on my purchase, which technically didn't happen. So the feedback was:

"Ordered a parka, because had a good experience wearing one of those earlier and didn't find this model at the local retailer. But just after payment completion got an email saying my order was cancelled. No reason, just notification. Spent almost a week to reach out support. Eventually their answer was literally"Our system done that. It could happen due to a lot of reasons, we don't know why exactly". Luckily got money back eventually."

Now got an emai from them saying:

"Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!"

Canada Goose Jacket

I purchased 6 jackets from Canada Goose on June the 30th 2018 for myself and my family members. We purchased their products because of lifetime warranty and a promise by CG of great quality of their products.
Unfortunately in 2019 the zipper of my jacket broke down and I found some fabric deformed around the sleeves. I promptly informed CG about these issues and I mailed in my jacket to them for the repairs under warranty. What surprised me was after a month long wait they replied to me and told me that "" the jacket has some accidental damages " which was a big surprise to me as there were no accidental damage to my jacket, plus I dropped off my jacket for the warranty repairs at their store and it was inspected by their store manager and at the time of dropping off the store manager who inspected my jackets didn't find any accidental damages.
Eventually they repaired the jacket and returned back to me and I moved on. On February 2nd 2021 my zipper broke down again plus I had some issues with the fabric deformed, I filled a warranty claim with CG and mailed in my jacket for warranty repairs.
After few weeks I got the same message "" we found accidental damages on your jacket "" will replace the zipper as a courtesy . It seems that they use the same script what they used in 2019, they reason they do this seems to avoid any responsibility and obligations under their warranty, they just imply to the customers that they are somehow doing a FAVOUR to repair the jacket.

NOW THEY HAD MY JACKET FOR OVER TWO MONTHS AND THEY MAILED MY JACKET BACK WITH EXTENSIVE DAMAGES AND STAINS ON THE FRONT. I WAS EXTREMELY SHOCKED, I promptly contacted CG and reported this problem, after lots of back and forth emails with their warranty department and customer service, I spoke with their supervisor few days ago who was a bully and told me that CG WILL DO NOTHING FOR ME and she hanged up with a threat .

I shared pictures of my jacket with CG to compare them from February 2021 when I mailed in my jacket and the day I received my jacket back from them, still they are refusing to work a resolution for me and fulfill their obligations under the warranty.

Canada Goose White puffer jacket turned yellowish

After caring for my jacket exactly according to label instructions, it began to have a yellow hue. I sent it to Canada Goose and filed a warranty complaint. It took them 1.5 months to even acknowledge receipt. Then they said I didn't care for it properly.Numerouse emails tried to explain that I did, in fact, care for it according to the label instructions...finally escalated "to the highest level" only to hear that they had tried to clean it which "resulted in a yellow hue". I spoke with 2 people who just kept saying the company line and didn't even acknowledge what I was saying. After almost 3 months I got my jacket back. I believe they used inferior down from ducks, not geese, which when wet yellows over time. I told one person that because the fabric is white the yellowed feathers show through...their customer service is the worst!

Canada Goose No delivery of virtual gift card and lousy customer service

My husband purchased a virtual gift card for me as a Christmas gift, and it is now after New Years and I still have not received it and this company is giving us the run around. I've called twice and no one has done anything, I got the response that it's been escalated internally. Are they serious? It's been over a week with no resolution but, they made sure they got our money!
I've emailed and of course the same response, it's been escalated. This is absolutely ridiculous! Horrible company!
Canada Goose is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. They have the absolute worst customer service and for the price of their products it is totally unacceptable!
I will never purchase from them again. They are the absolute worst!

Canada Goose Poor customer service / refund and order related issues

I have ordered a total of 3 Canada Goose Sherbrooke Parka coats. The first order I returned because of the size. They received the return on Dec 10th.

The second order came to me visibly used/worn/dirty. The front was laced with hair (not from the hood or down), and a woman's long blond hair was stuck in the zipper. Not to mention the black lettering on the inside of the coat had faded. I called and sent 2 emails related to this order, with pictures attached, requesting a supervisor to return my call. That was since Dec 10th. I have yet to receive a return call. I have since called numerous times. Each time, I am told that a supervisor would return my call. One gentleman even told me that a supervisor would be calling me at that moment, and if I did not receive a call, he would call me himself. That never happened. I returned this coat the same day it arrived at my house, which was received back to Canada Goose on Dec 12th.

For both returns, I have yet to be refunded the purchase amount back to my card.

The third order of the same coat came to me without the signature box. So no box to gift wrap the coat in. I called 3 more times. I was told by each agent that I would receive a $10 credit for the box because they had run out. I have yet to receive a credit.

I called again today to ask when a refund would be issued for my first 2 returns. They could not give me an answer other than it is processing with my bank. I called my bank who informed me they do not see a refund processing yet. I asked Canada Goose why a supervisor had not returned my call yet, after my complaint was submitted 6 days ago on Dec 10th. They did not have an answer for that other than it is a busy time. Canada Goose's response email says that I would receive a return call within 24 hours.

So right now, I have 2 charges for over $2, 000 that have not been refunded to my card. In addition, I have no signature box for my coat, nor a $10 credit.

For the amount that I have paid for this coat, the quality of service does not come close to acceptable. I am looking for a supervisor to contact me ASAP regarding my concerns with this company.

Canada Goose Warranty department

My parka got caught on a doorway and completely ripped from the pocket to the knee. I filed a detailed claim for repair or replacement and over the course of 4 weeks received 4 different answers as to why they were unable to replace or repair- including suggesting that the make and model is no longer available (it is) and color isn't made anymore (it's black). I had to ask them to mail it back to me and still haven't received it. Customer service made 2 Appointments to call me and never did. Absolutely horrific that I'm out a $1, 000 coat with 0 attempts to be helpful or honest by CG. Will be taking my business elsewhere.
