Young teen rude and unprofessional
A couple of weeks ago, my son and I went in to order. I asked, what would be a great deal to serve family of 5. The young teen talked very fast like we were a nuisance and that she was in a hurry.
So, I asked her is she could repeat that a little slower. Then she said, it just as fast but really loud.
Then our order wasn't right, and I told her we didn't like crab. So, when we got our food it was crab included and I said, we didn't like crab the first time.
Then she went over to cook and said [censored] I just told her.
I was very clear that we wanted fish and chicken deal!
So, rude! We won't be going back! And she said, sweetie and your welcome LOVE a lot to the drive through customers while we were waiting.
That's the worst customer experience I have every had in all my 40 some years.
She acted like a spoiled brat not a professional.
Desired outcome: We ended up paying way to much ,that didn't barley feed 3 people, let alone 5.
unprofessional customer service
I am a regular diner at Captain D's.
I went to the restaurant on Saturday to order two meals.
When I arrived, there was a sign on the door that informed that the lobby was closed and drive-thru only was available.
I proceeded to the drive-thru. When I reached the window, I asked if they could tell me why the lobby was closed? The employee asked someone else the question, I assumed a manager/supervisor, and then laughed and said, the drive-thru is the only thing open.
I could clearly see that, but I felt that a customer had a right, since I was a customer, to ask this question.
After I asked the employee if that was a funny question, she did inform me that they were shorthanded. I am in management, and we are having issues with getting people to come to work also. But I also feel that a paying customer should deserve a simple answer to a simple question.
Desired outcome: Simply be courteous to customers, even though you may be having a bad day.
Quality of food
We were at 15 Carson Place, Frankfort Ky 40601 11/12/22 7:13 pm. We were the only customers. 2 people came in while we were waiting for our food. The food, every bit of it, was cold. The fish was cooked in spots. Ever eat cold greasy food? The Giant Fish Combo only had fish sandwich & fries, no slaw. I had 2 piece fish, slaw Fries, & hush puppies for $7.59 only 10 cents cheaper than the giant combo. Yes, I will share my name, Lois Larson. That was the worst $16.72 meal I have ever had. That was the last trip to Captain D's & I will share my story with anyone who will listen

Yes I was at your drive through establishment on 11 eight 2022 at 19:19, the guest #001. The person taking was my order was rude. And kept telling me, what didn’t have. And I believe he over charged me and didn’t give me my drink I paid for twice. These places hasn’t been open that long. And asked combo and he took drink off and charged me for med drink

Poor communication/ cross contaminating foods
Cross contaminating the fryers replaced me on the schedule and took me off n basically fired me without firing me and dont clean there dishes all the way an theres grease on the dishes from the day before and still uses them the next day and they let me work a whole month without a food handlers permit because they didn't tell me to get one or ask if i had one like they where supposed to they dont care and when we close the stuff thats supposed to be put in the freezer they leave it im the fridge i got all of this from working there a month and put me on hours knowing i only had a ride at a certain time
Desired outcome: To make yall realize this company needs to be watched and or closed down
Raw fish
I ordered a to go 2 piece fish/2 piece ckn dinner. I asked for the chicken to be well done since I had gotten raw chicken the time before. I live 15 miles from restaurant. I couldn’t take it back. My husband and I split a meal and his fish was completely raw inside. Not edible. The fries were not done. The side of okra was about 6 pieces. I paid $12 for the meal dated 10/17/2022. Store #3669. This needs to be addressed. I won’t go back there. We live on a fixed income and a meal there is a treat for us. Do something about the cook. Thank you.

To whom it may concern,
I am writing to file a complaint against the store in Snellville, Ga off HWY 78. The sign advised they close at 10pm. I arrive in the drive through at 9:25 last night on 9.26.22. I was greeted by a young lady who offered to take my order but advised they only had batter fish. I was ok with that. Then she ask me for my sides, I provided the sides I wanted. After placing my order she advised that they were closed and has stopped cooking and all the food has been put in the trash. If you close at 10pm, how are they not cooking at 9:25pm? This is not the 1st time this has happened. If the hours of operation has changed please update the information on the website and the store door.
Double Charge on Order
Went to place an on-line order on 9/7/22 in the amount of $23.07 for service at Lake City, FL Captain D's. Received confirmation of order and was to be sent to personal yahoo account per request. NEVER received confirmation email. Husband had already left home to pick up order. Made call to Lake City, FL restaurant and asked if they received on-line order and was told "NO!" and was NOT allowed to accept phone call orders. Husband had to re-order once arrival at restaurant and was charged for $23.07 AGAIN. THIS MADE A DOUBLE CHARGE! Have called the Corporate Office approx. six (6) times and received NO response/feedback to resolve issue. Our lawyer will be getting involved in this on-going situation.

Union city captain d's refund for left out items
Ordered a family feast online order#566860. Employees left out all condiments, utinsals and 6 orders of french fries. Called the store and the manager answered. Explained the situation and he said to come back(12 mile round trip). I said, give me a refund for the fries and he said I have to do that online(i found no place online for refunds). My wife said to him that his customer service sucked and he said, "Then dont order from our store then!"And hung up the phone. Dont worry. We won't. Ever! But we still want our refund for our missing items.
Desired outcome: Refund our items or our complete meal since it was only half complete. Call and apologize for this rude manager who should be demoted or fired. [protected]
Denied refund for undercooked and cold food
On Friday, 9-9-22 around 4:3opm, I purchased 3 large fish sandwiches and 5 large shrimps for $18.40 at the Greenbriar Mall Location ( 2845 Greenbriar Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia. When I arrived home, I discovered that the sandwiches were soggy and cold, and the fish was undercooked. So, I returned the fish and spoke to the store manager. He offered to replaced the order with fresh cooked fish. However, he replaced the food with the same undercooked meat and soggy sandwiches. At that point, I was done and requested a refund. To my surprise he refused to give me a refund and he refused to return my receipt. The restaurant manager told me that I can only get a refund through the corporate office. Now, I am out of $18.40 and no receipt.
Desired outcome: I need Captain Ds to refund me the $18.40 that I spent. I need an apology for badly prepared food, and an apology from the store manager.
Food and service
My order was $36. This was my experience! They took my order( That young lady and one cook were awesome) The managed was not there, the employee next to her was on a personal call, the cook that was responsible for my fish walked away to make a call and didn't drop my fish, and I had to now wait for my fish while the rest of my order was on chill in the ac! When I got home my food was cold, greasy and rubbery! Oh yeah, I sti.l can't tell you what the last girls job was! She just floated! Never again!
employees disrespect of customer
i was in Moultrie Georgia on 09/08/2022 at 4;12pm store #3847 with my wife we had to wait in line to place our order because there was only one employee working the drive thru and front the other employees were in the back talking loud several customer walk out because of poor service me and my wife stated to walk also but we both love Captain D's so we waited the young man that was waiting on both the drive thru and front brought our food out to us as we were eating our food the employees and the night manager were so loud that we and some more customers could not enjoy our meal.so me and my pack up our meal my wife ask to speak to the manager about the noise the manager ask all the employees out to the front to hear my wife complaint and the employees responded to her was Rude the manager than told me and my wife that she is not going to tell her employees to be quiet. me and my wife left the store and returned to our home in Albany Georgia never to return the the Capitan D;s in Moultrie Georgia my wife called the i 800 customer complaint to address this matter.our order was 0098. Food ordered and service
On 8/28/22 I called Capt D’s to see if they had the Oyster Platter this time of year. Answer was yes. At 5pm I ordered oyster platter plus fish&shrimp w fried green tomatoes dinner. At 5:30 went to pick up and advised no oysters so I subbed salmon which I had to wait 30 min. for. Side salad wasn’t there with other order so they quickly made me one. I had ordered w blue cheese and they said th y don’t carry blue chez. Subbed Italian and when got home it was Thous Island- can’t eat. Saw receipt and was charged $2.99 for genesis tomatoes. I am writing this not because I can't afford to lose $2.76 upcharge or be charged $3.99for a tiny cup of coleslaw but the way this was handled. I came into store3450 as I often do and ordered a 10-piece Family Fish meal. The menu reads $26.99 with two classic sides. For my sides I ordered Fries, Okra then added coleslaw. I get the upcharge on the okra as it is a premium side and takes longer to prepare and cost more. I then asked the young lady about my receipt. She nicely tried to explain to me that I was up charged because of the way I ordered it. Basically, I was told I was up charged an extra $3.99 for coleslaw because I ordered it third and if I would have ordered fries and slaw then okra the price would have been different.
I just don't understand! I'm getting the same size everything but get up charged because the order in which I ordered it. I then asked for a manager. This young man came out and tried to explain it and said the way i ordered it didn't matter. The customer service I'm rating at a 2 out of 10 as I'm not trying to be a negative person. I just don't like getting taken advantage of.
I am a former owner operator of a Fast Lube oil change center in Chattanooga. If you have ever had the oil changed in your car you leave understanding why you got up charged for items. I left your store not knowing nor did the manager really try to explain it more than once. So maybe you can explain it. Why was I up charged for an item that's on the classic list.
Tax and food totaled $36.86 This is a principal thing. If this guy was indeed the manager, then I would probably look for another one. Also, I don't want anything free or even my money back. I just want upper management to know how their repeat customers are treated.

we were overcharged and and the service stank! charged for the topping for cheesecake even. 1 veg plate 5.19, never heard of this but its on the reciept5.78 for 2 drinks, told the wife to go get three 2 peice fish dinners and she spent almost 57 dollars from being overcharged for just about everything! we love Captain Ds but cant afford 57 dollars every time we go!

I placed a carry out order on 08/23/2022, at 15:51 pm. The order number is 0156. The order was placed at store number 3863, located in Greenville, MS. @ 1716 Hwy 82 East. The order was for One Fish and Chicken Meal, with cole slaw, and fries. Also, a Grilled Tilapia Dinner with broccoli and fries. The order totaled $22.87.
After arriving home to eat, I decided to eat the cole slaw first. The taste was horrible, I proceeded to smell it, and noticed there was a smell of decay coming from it. Apparently, it was spoiled, also the chicken tenders were spoiled. The fish was fine. The fries were greasy and had a strange taste as well. The Tilapia, and broccoli were fine. I attempted to call the restaurant to speak with the manager @ [protected], the call went unanswered. This is beyond unacceptable. This is not the first time, we've received spoiled food from this restaurant. We have received sour corn in the past. I don't know what the problem is, with food preparation, but this is unsafe and will result in food borne illnesses. This is the only Captain D's that I've ever received bad food from. I will not be dining at this restaurant again.
Desired outcome: The desired outcome would be for a General Manager to visit the location, on an unannounced day, to observe the food preparation process. I feel as though the food isn't being prepared or stored properly, at this particular location.
Paid - No Product
Yesterday I ordered online #549871, two dinners at a cost of $22.89 with tax. Thought all was good, got a call a few minutes later from local Captain D's "store #365055" stating they could not cook what I ordered "grilled fish" because their broiler was broken, they offered to cook something else, i did not want anything else so I said fine, refund my money. The local store stated they could not do that, I was told I would have to go back to the main website and get a refund that way. I could not find any way to do so from their website, so messaged them through online contact page. Still waiting to hear from them!

Order was incomplete and missing items.
Ordered a deluxe seafood platter with coleslaw and green beans and then i ordered a fish and shrimp platter with only fries and okra with a medium sierra mist to drink which came to $26.41
We waited at the window for over 10 mins and then finally received our food. There was such long line behind us we didn't check our food before leaving. So we get home and it' wrong. We turn around and head back. We get there and instead of going through the drive thru we went inside to speak with the manager on duty. So the same cashier from the drive thru comes over and stated she already knew that the order was wrong and then starts grabbing the fish out of the to go box and stated they can replace the sides(which was wrong) and then add the shrimp that was forgotten (fish and shrimp platter), than the deluxe seafood platter was missing crab cakes and the sides were wrong also and there was no hush puppies it was all wrong. Anyways they were trying to fix the problem by adding the items that was left out with hot food and putting it on top of the cold food. Plus the manager (lady with blonde hair and slim built) and the cashier had touched the food with no gloves and didn't wash there hands and that was nasty. Anyways as you can tell it was all wrong and nothing was handled properly at all. I finally got the manager to agree to make everything fresh and I sat there and waited again adding a order of funnel sticks. I got it home finally and started to eat the green beans and pulled a long hair out of my mouth. I obviously didn't go back cause well that did it for the both of us eating but it would be nice to have our money of $26.41 plus have our meal replaced when it's convenient for us! We go there at least twice a week and it's never like this.
