Unprofesional, no comunication!
Unprofesional, no comunication! Lots of other shops in ***! Dont bring vehicle for repairs here! Run! Cant get ahold of representative!
Very unprofeshional and rude
Very unprofeshional and rude. Took vehical to 2 other body repair shops. Both state repairs are substandard. Go elsewher. The replies from management are bull. They just try to justify substandard work. Repairs are consistent with their slogan. Like they never happened.
Car Crafters, Inc
Car Crafters, Inc. is absolutely terrible! Their communication and customer skills are the worst! They were really rude. I don't even know how they stay in business. Because we used our insurance, all they would say is "talk to your insurance." Then we told them verbally that our car was being picked up, and they never mentioned anything about needing a written release. When the tow truck arrived, they refused to let them access our vehicle, and they never called us. Finally, we got our car back, and it smelled like cigarette ashes, but they deny being responsible. So not only are they liars, but they are also completely incompetent as a business.
Chris took care of my car from start to finish
Chris took care of my car from start to finish. When I went to pick it up, everything looked good until I pulled down my visor and a syringe with a needle fell into my lap. I was scared and shocked because I saw it falling in an instant. Luckily, the syringe had a cap on it, but it was still not a happy moment. I immediately turned around and brought it to Car Crafters' attention. The only thing they could do was tell me they would check the cameras. I left feeling very uneasy. Why was there a syringe in my car? Chris did look around my car after I left for the second time, but I still felt uneasy. I'm afraid I might get [censored]ed by a needle that I don't know about, and they didn't know about it either. This is an uncomfortable situation that I wouldn't wish on anyone. It's not comfortable to leave your car with a company that doesn't know where the needle came from. After this experience, I might have to choose a different repair service.
I gotta say, Car Crafters, Inc
I gotta say, Car Crafters, Inc. really let me down. I took my ride to the one on veranda road in Rio Rancho, and boy was it a disaster. They had my car for a whole week, and when they finally gave it back, it had even more damage than before. Can you believe it? They didn't even fix the dent that I specifically made an appointment for. Instead, they scraped up the entire left side of the top of my car, and I could see that bondo stuff. And to top it off, there was overspray on the right back seat door and they even messed up the inside of the window. They really messed up the tiny details inside the car too, like putting dents on the piece around the small window in the back. I called them up, and they told me to bring it back. They acted all surprised, like they didn't know how it was sent out like that. They said they were sorry and promised to fix it without causing any more damage. So, I gave them another chance and got my car back after another week. They told me they fixed everything, but then they had the nerve to tell me that they didn't fix the scrapes at the end because they were too deep to buff out and they didn't want to bother painting it. Can you believe that? And guess what? My car came back with even more damage. Now the back left window has a chip in it, and the scrape is still there. Those four dents that were supposed to be fixed? Yeah, they're still there too. And to make matters worse, there's overspray on the passenger door now. The dents are still hanging around on the back side window, and the paint on my door handle is all chipped off. The tint in the back, behind the passenger, is all messed up too. I can see spots all over the place. And let's not forget about the inside of my car. They gave it back to me full of dirt and these weird white spots. And get this, both times they had my car, they returned it to me with the glove box wide open and it had clearly been rummaged through. I called them up again to complain and ask why there were still issues, and you know what they said? They said they could fix it, but they didn't really want to give me a rental car. And then, I never heard from them again. Can you believe the nerve? I wouldn't trust them with any vehicle, that's for sure. I shouldn't have had this many problems, especially considering what they were supposed to fix. Now I'm stuck paying out of my own pocket to fix all this damage. This is definitely not a professional business, folks.

My 2015 Scion XB
It has been I the shop since April 1st. Twice we took it out when they said it is ready but it did not make it home. All warning lights on, engine vibrating etc...
I need to talk with the owner or President of the company. The local shop will not call me back and they still have the car.
The insurance will not let us keep the rental car any longer.
Desired outcome: I need to talk with the owner or President of the company. The local shop will not call me back and they still have the car. I NEED SOMEONE to call me ASAP [protected] TERRY BUERGER
I had a car accident with my 2013 Honda CR-V recently
I had a car accident with my 2013 Honda CR-V recently. *** suggested Car Crafters on Montaño. They estimated it would be done by June 16th, but it actually took two more weeks to finish (due to foreign parts, which is understandable). When I got my car back, the washer fluid wasn't working and there was a noise on the passenger side. I called them and the next day they took it in. They had my car for a week and had to provide me with a rental car. They fixed the grille in about 30 minutes, but said it wouldn't snap in all the way. It looked better, but then the grille came undone AGAIN. I called them and they said they would order a NEW grille. It's been about 3 weeks now, and I haven't received any calls or notifications from Kim (*** claims rep at Car Crafters). The Manager Andrew hasn't called me either. I just want my car fixed like their motto says, "like it never happened." I've been very patient with them, but I want my CRV fixed or a refund. My wife and I are not happy at all!
I went to Car Crafters on 10/18 to fix my car, as my insurance told me to
I went to Car Crafters on 10/18 to fix my car, as my insurance told me to. I only needed them to fix a dent on the left front panel, there was no other damage. When I got my car back on 10/27, I noticed a few problems. The antenna wasn't connected, the paint color didn't match perfectly, and the front auto lock switch wasn't working. I called Car Crafters to let them know about the issues. At first, they said they didn't work on the locks. But then they called me back and asked me to bring the car in. So, I went back to Car Crafters. They checked the switch and told me it was broken, but they claimed it wasn't their fault. I told the representative that the lock was working fine when I dropped off the car. She said, "I know, but it's not because of us. The switch is broken." I left and contacted my insurance. They said the claim was closed. I looked at the claim and found the estimate for the damages. It mentioned that the left front door and locking were taken apart and put back together. The lock was working until I picked up the car from Car Crafters. I think the lock got damaged when they took it apart or didn't put it back together correctly after fixing the front left panel. I just want them to repair the lock so it works again.

My Tesla got hit on the door panels in a parking lot
My Tesla got hit on the door panels in a parking lot. There's only one "authorized repair" shop for Tesla here in town, which is Car Crafters ***. I contacted Car Crafters on 8/10, and they said they would order the parts but couldn't get my car in for 3 months (11/08). I said that's okay, order the parts, and I'll bring it in. It's been 5 weeks since I dropped off my car. Darren initially told me that the repair would take 10 days. But ever since they got my car, they keep making excuses for the delay. First, they said "Tesla has the wrong parts listed on their website." Then it was "Tesla sent us the wrong parts." After that, it was "We haven't received the parts and can't give you an ETA or tracking numbers." Then Darren told me, "Our Tesla tech has covid." None of these things are my fault, but Car Crafters keeps refusing to help me. My car is just sitting outside in their lot, half torn apart with the doors and panels off, and my battery is at 0%, possibly degrading. My insurance only covers a rental car for 30 days, and when I asked Car Crafters to cover a rental vehicle, they flat out said, "No, it's not our fault." They had 3 months to get the parts, and they are listed as a "Tesla authorized repair" directly from Tesla's website! They're basically keeping my car without any remorse or taking responsibility for the delays, and they can't even give me an ETA for when it'll be done. They expect me to pay for a rental car for an undisclosed amount of time. They need to finish my car or send it to Tesla or pay for a rental car.
