Car Zone USA Mickey *** and Zach *** from Car Zone USA, LLC sold us this 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan

Mickey *** and Zach *** from Car Zone USA, LLC sold us this 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. Zach *** fibbed on our credit app with Exeter Finance. The transmission on the minivan broke down right after we signed the contract. Be careful when dealing with Car Zone USA! Don't do business with them!

Car Zone USA When we got the car, we put $250 down on it

When we got the car, we put $250 down on it. We had to return it because the engine light and other lights were on, and the motor had a ticking sound when it was turned on. We took it back to Car Zone, but they didn't want to take it back. They said that since I bought the car, it belonged to me. I kept telling them that I was unhappy with the car and wanted my money back. I called Wells Fargo and explained the situation, and they told me to ask Car Zone to return the check. The owner replied, "I don't care what Wells Fargo said." To make a long story short, I left the car on their lot, but they wouldn't give me back my $250 deposit. They were really rude and unprofessional. If you're looking for a used car, I strongly recommend going anywhere else but here.

Car Zone USA I traded two vehicles in for one vehicle, and they sold both on the same day

I traded two vehicles in for one vehicle, and they sold both on the same day. It took them a whole month and a half to pay off the vehicles. As a result, I got reported to the creditor for missing payments on vehicles that I no longer had. I called them multiple times, but they kept prolonging the issue. This caused me to suffer a significant credit hit of 139 points, which is currently affecting me. I definitely wouldn't recommend buying or trading with them. I traded in December, and the credit hit from Toyota Motors in February is still visible.

Car Zone USA I bought a truck on Dec 31

I bought a truck on Dec 31. The truck had a few issues with the motor and rear end. My mechanic said he pulled the heads on the truck and said there was nothing wrong with the motor. I asked about the rear end and he said it was fine. Then I called the dealer and they told me to take it to Courtesy Dodge. They went through the motor and an AUL warranty representative came out to look at the problem. They replaced a bunch of parts, put it back together, and it was still making a knocking noise. They took it apart again, replaced valves, put it back together, and it was making noise again. Courtesy Dodge then said they need to replace the motor and also mentioned that the rear end needs attention. I told Car Zone about it and they said they can put me in another vehicle. I told them to just buy the vehicle back and give me my down payment back. He said he would talk to the owner. I feel like I am getting the run around. I am on disability and I thought I was buying a reliable truck. I am on a fixed income and they should have had the truck inspected before putting it on the lot.

Car Zone USA I had a loan approved for my niece to get a car

I had a loan approved for my niece to get a car. On May 13, she got a 2017 Nissan Altima. The car that got wrecked wasn't fully paid off by State Farm. She was told that CarZone would pay it off, and she had to pay them $3200 before getting her tags and license for the car. I didn't agree, so I called and canceled the loan with the bank that approved it, and I told her to return the car. The deal was canceled. She paid $2000 as a down payment, but they only gave her back $1207. I don't think she should have had to pay for the days she had the car or for driving it. It wasn't a rental, it was a purchase, and the deal fell through because I wasn't satisfied with her paying $3200 before getting the license and tag for the car. If the salesman *** had told me or my niece that the $3200 had been taken care of by the dealership, I would have kept the car. My niece should have been given the $793 they kept from the down payment. They charged her as if she was renting the car. They shouldn't have let her have the car on 05/13 until the deal was completed. Product_Or_Service: car

Car Zone USA I bought my car in May 2022, and from the second day, I started having issues

I bought my car in May 2022, and from the second day, I started having issues. First, I had to replace the oil cooler because the dealership told me that it was my problem since I paid cash for my 2012 Altima. When I went to register it, I found out that I was lied to. The dealer said they only sold trade-ins, but it turned out that mine was a title loan repossession and there was still a lien on it from the company. They told me that was a lie and that the company they bought the car from, Dixie Auctions, had taken care of the lien with the lien holder. Then I found out that it costs almost $400 to register my car because they failed to include the sales tax on the "Bill Of Sale." They also apparently bought and sold the car three times in less than a day, from the lien holder to Truck Pros and then to Car Zone. Although I have the original title signed by them, it was never registered to anyone except the original owner. This is called title jumping. Since *** is on vacation, I still have no registration or tag. I have been pulled over three times, received three tickets, and have no way to pay them or the registration fee, especially since the DMV said I might be responsible for repaying the loan to the original owner. What I really want is to get my $5000.00 back.

Car Zone USA My mom went to Car Zone USA in West Monroe on Wells road to check out a car

My mom went to Car Zone USA in West Monroe on Wells road to check out a car. We test drove it and when she brought it back, she told the employees what she didn't like and what was wrong with it, but they ignored her. I told them not to let my mom sign any papers unless I'm there, but they ignored my request again. So, we ended up taking the car home and all the lights on the dashboard lit up. We returned the car the next morning, but the man who sold it to us still didn't listen. They just walked around us like we were invisible, so I called for a ride home because of their rudeness. My mom decided she didn't want to do business with them anymore. As we were leaving, my mom asked for her $250 deposit back, and the owner replied rudely, saying she wouldn't get anything back. My mom replied, "Okay, have a blessed day," and we left the car at Car Zone. This happened at the end of June, so let's fast forward to the first of August. Car Zone had two of their employees drop the car off in front of our apartment complex without saying a word. The car sat there for almost 2 months before we realized it was the same car we returned. I had a nagging feeling, so I shined a light inside and saw a paper with my mom's name on it. I told my mom that it was the car we returned to Car Zone. We called Wells Fargo and told them what they had done.

Car Zone USA I bought a car from this place like a month ago

I bought a car from this place like a month ago. 3 days after we bought it, the check engine light came on. Few weeks later, it left my son stranded on the side of the road. We thought it was the clutch. I contacted car zone and they told me the warranty would take care of the clutch. Just take it to any licensed mechanic. The closest one to us was like 45 minutes away. I contacted the warranty company and they said the clutch is covered, take it anywhere with a licensed mechanic. We paid $300 to have it towed. Once the mechanic sent the bill request, the warranty company said no. I talked to ***, one of the managers at Car zone. He told me they had a tow truck and they would come get the car and fix it at one of their shops. Three days went by and I hadn't heard from *** so I called back. They told me *** was out for the rest of the month but *** could help me. *** told me the same thing, the tow truck would contact me about where the car was and they would go get it and fix it for us. Three days went by again so I called back, had to leave him a message. Several days later, no return call, so I called back. Same thing, had to leave a message. I've been calling every day, several times a day for the past few weeks and no one will call me back after they promised they would fix this. We've had the car for like a month, we shouldn't be having these problems. The people at Car zone acted like they didn't care about the problems with this car we just bought from them. All I want is what they promised, to come get the car and fix the clutch.

Car Zone USA I put $3000 down on a 2013 BMW v3 on 3/12/2022

I put $3000 down on a 2013 BMW v3 on 3/12/2022. They said it had bluetooth, but I had to buy an iPhone radio adapter to play music from my phone. The radio and door areas are scratched up. The glove compartment door is falling off and they told me to glue it back. I have to turn the heat to 85 degrees just to feel any warmth. A day or two later, *** Williams, my car salesman, called me about calling a number to say the car is in great condition. I asked if I could still switch the car after making the call and he said yes. But when I went back the next Saturday, they said the bank wouldn't let me swap it out because it was too early. They said I have to wait and make on-time payments for 2 years and then try to refinance. Less than 2 weeks later, the engine check light came on and keeps turning on and off. My 30 days are almost up and I haven't heard anything from them. The car even starts and stops while in park. I'm tired of the runarounds for a car I'm not interested in anymore. Mr *** got unprofessional on social media and argued with me and other unhappy customers. He even insulted my credit and said I couldn't get accepted by anyone else. I admit I was rough, but I'm furious now. I have screenshots and text messages as proof. I just want the Equinox they promised me.

Car Zone USA I bought a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox from Car Zone USA on 09/02/2022

I bought a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox from Car Zone USA on 09/02/2022. The whole team was nice and helpful. The salesman asked what I wanted and I told him, he said they just got one in this morning. I checked out the car, took it for a test drive, and it was okay but didn't have the power I wanted, but it was fine for me. A week later, I called him back and said the car didn't have enough power and was slow. The salesman, *** Turner, said I have to understand that I'm not driving that Dodge Charger I came in. Three weeks later, I went to the Chevrolet Dealership for an oil change. Two weeks after that, I heard a rattling sound on the right side of the car, so I called the salesman and he told me to take it to the Chevrolet Dealership in my area. They told me I needed new rotors and pads. Two weeks later, I was driving home on the highway and heard a loud noise. The car made a scary sound and something fell from underneath. I pulled over and saw that the whole long pipe was on the ground. I thought I could still drive it, but my son said it wasn't safe. I called the extended warranty company and they took my car to Natchez Chevrolet, where it is now. They told me the car came from up North with saltwater damage and damage to the catalytic converter and exhaust system. The service department manager told me he doesn't understand why they sold me a damaged car. I called Car Zone USA and told them what happened, but they didn't offer any help or attention. I called my finance company and they said they can't help me if it's not a manufacturer issue. The finance company called the dealership where I bought the car and they said it came from up North with saltwater and rust problems. So why would they sell me something they knew was no good? But I still have to pay $488.32 a month for a car I can't drive because I signed a contract.

Car Zone USA I bought my Volvo in West Monroe, LA on June 22 and until now I can't register it in Memphis, TN

I bought my Volvo in West Monroe, LA on June 22 and until now I can't register it in Memphis, TN. I, ***, bought a 2018 Volvo XC90 from American Direct Auto in Winnsboro LA on June 22. I think my son-in-law *** dealt with *** the sales rep. The paperwork was done at Car Zone USA in West Monroe, LA with Ms., contract number XXXXXXXXXX. The purchase price of the vehicle is $30,230.00; the contract state the cash price including $2,947.43 for sales tax is $33,177.43. My daughter, *** talked to Ms *** and was told that the paperwork plus the check for the sales tax would be sent to Memphis. She was also told that they just finished a sale and paperwork for someone in Memphis earlier. We went to the local TN Dept of Revenue on Aug. 5 and was told to go to the Downtown location. *** called TN Dept of Revenue at XXX-XXX-XXXX; when she finally spoke with someone she was told that she had to speak with the Rep that handles out-of-state registrations which is Ms *** at XXX-XXX-XXXX. She then called Ms. at Car Zone because she had been talking with her about sending the paperwork. Ms *** explained that she couldn't get anyone in Memphis to send the paperwork so Rochelle gave her Ms *** number. We went to the Shelby County Dept of Revenue on Aug 17, 2020 to register the Volvo but was told that I needed a tracking number. While at the clerk's window Rochelle called Ms *** who said that they needed to know the exact amount to send to Memphis; the clerk said that he never heard of that since the amount of $2,947.43 was included in the purchase price, that was the amount that is supposed to be sent to them along with the paperwork. The Clerk said that the sales tax was $2,770.69; Ms Ray asked if they could fax that amount over to them on their letterhead. The clerk said no and that their fax doesn't contain their letterhead and that this didn't make sense to him. At that time I paid $10 to get a temporary tag since it was due to expire. Toward the end of August, a check and the paperwork including the title was finally mailed to Shelby County and we got a tracking number. Rochelle called Shelby County and was told that the check was made out wrong and that it should include Shelby County; the check, paperwork and title were all mailed back to Car Zone through the postal service regular mail on Sept 4, 2020 with instructions. Rochelle spoke with Ms *** on Sept. 18. 2020 and she explained that they never received any mail from Memphis and that it should have been mailed with a tracking number since it included a legal document (the title) and that they would have to get a replacement title which will take a while since they have to determine where they got the Volvo; i.e. if it was from another dealer, owner, etc. My daughter *** has been talking with Ms., *** the General Mgr of Car Zone and Ms. at Shelby County since I bought the Volvo. She along with her husband explained to Ms. that the temporary tag was out and that I would need another one so that the car could be driven. Ms. said that we could come and pick up a 30 day temporary tag; which Mr. did. This whole ordeal has been a nightmare from the start. When the final purchase was made from Winnsboro there were several warning lights on that were supposed to have been taken care of before the Volvo was picked up. ***, the General Manager of Car Zone said that he would take care of the car issues. My daughter talked to *** of Winnsboro on July 14th and he made an appointment to send me/my daughter to a Volvo dealer in *** to have it repaired. However, there was still a light on so Mr. Griggs took it to have the oil changed; which, fixed the additional problem. I am 83 years of age and have bought many vehicles in the past and not once have I had an issue with registration or have had to ride with a temporary tag over 30 days. As stated earlier, this whole process has been a complete nightmare.
