CarGurus Mixed Experience with Legacy Car Sales, LLC

After reading various reviews about Legacy Car Sales, LLC, it's clear that the customer experiences are quite mixed. Some customers have praised the customer service and found the process of buying a car to be smooth and efficient. However, there are also concerns raised by other customers regarding pricing discrepancies, misleading information, and issues with the accuracy of listings. Potential customers should approach with caution and ensure to thoroughly research and verify information before making a purchase.

CarGurus A perfect day purchasing a vehicle!

1st off I contacted Greg via text in CarGurus main site. Greg responded within 3 mins of my text. Greg is an agent with CarGurus but he did get me in contact promptly with exactly whom I needed to speak with at SS motors Seattle Washington. See I was helping a friend that lives in Washington find a vehicle and I currently live in Savannah Georgia. I told all this too Ryan the salesman that was able to answer all my questions and trusted that I was not a trolling him from another state. I can't say enough how perfect the experience was cause it was just that "Perfect experience ". When all was done my friend Brad went to SS motors that evening and by the next morning he was in his dream car cruising the streets of Seattle feeling blessed for a change. Thanks a million Ryan

CarGurus BMW FRESNO

I recently purchased my third BMW from Radford at BMW Fresno. I will not go anywhere else because of the excellent service I received. Radford helped me to decide on choosing my first BMW and I have trusted him since. His patience and knowledge of BMW and their vehicles is why I keep going back. The service provided to me does not stop at the final sale. I have received follow calls and text messages to ensure that everything is okay and to ask if I had any questions on the operation of my car. Radford has always been available throughout the years when I had questions about my car long after the purchase. I feel that he has become a good friend and known that I can trust him to always give me the best deal. Thank you again Radford and BMW of Fresno, for the great deal and service you have always provided me!

CarGurus BEST SERVICE ALL AROUND -- "CLEAR CHOICE AUTOMOTIVE LLC

Nick and Romi made my experience smooth and easy. From the time I walked to the door he was already there. Nick already had the car I was looking at pulled up to the side ready to drive. We did a test drive and I completely loved the car as it was exactly the one I was looking for. Nick and Romi work great as a team and will never forget the best customer service experience I have ever had. They made me feel like I was family coming over for a barbecue feast. They made me feel comfortable running numbers and going over the paperwork. I'm truly happy with my used car and the experience I received from Clear Choice Automotive LLC. Nick and Romi are awesome and I'll always be thankful for my car buying experience. I will definitely be referring all my friends to them. Thanks guys, I can't wait to buy my 3rd vehicle with them.

P.S. Did I mention that I bought 2 vehicles that day!

CarGurus Got vehicle I needed, best one within 200 miles, at fair price from Duffy's, Auburn WA

Thru Car Gurus found and purchased Toyota Sienna with 6 cyl, AWD, Tow Pkg, trailer hitch and largest in class 150 cu. Ft. & 8 ft. Long cargo space behind front seats that I needed and searched for, and with Toyota's super reliability, clearly the best one of the few available within 200 mile radius. It's also a super large roomy convenient 7-passenger family or grandparents with grandchildren vehicle. From Duffy's Auto Brokerage in Auburn WA one of the best dealers in Washington and Oregon, big dealer with big expert full service shop buys only excellent condition low mileage vehicles, checks all systems repairing as necessary! Tim Duffy and his dozen sales associates (we bought from Primo and Christian) in two big salesrooms super nice good guys! Totally pleased with our Sienna! Because their cars are in very much better condition than others, the price is a little higher, but walk into Duffy's knowing you'll get the best from nice expert people who'll become your friends!

CarGurus Big Country Auto of Dallas

Big Country Auto of Dallas is owned by Sean Morrisey and Rip is one of the salesmen who helped me. I found this company on Cars.com one night while searching for a car to purchase. I saw this car that I really liked so I decided to send an availability email to see if the car was still in their inventory. The next day I received a text message from the company asking if I were still interested in the car in which I scheduled an appointment to test drive. Prior to arriving to this appointment I had experienced horrible customer service from other dealerships from being told lies about the interested vehicle having accidents and being told they hadn't to being ignored for several minutes to the point where I just got up and walked out. This company really intrigued me because they didn't do any of that. This company not only sent me a carfax information about the vehicle I was interested but he also sent me an autocheck with step by step information on the history of the car. The day before our appointment he sent me a text letting me know he replaced the car battery and the morning of my visit he sent me photos of the vehicle letting me know he took the car out to get it washed in case I decided to purchase the vehicle and the best route to get to them. When we arrived there we saw him pulling out the car for us like clockwork. We test drove then set down to discuss numbers. Not only did they make the numbers work for us but the owner of the company even came in to make sure we were satisfied with the end result and even let us take the vehicle home for the weekend to make sure it was what we really wanted. After purchasing the vehicle I ran into a situation where my fob wasn't working and I was stranded at a store that did not sell batteries. Because my husband was at work I called Rip to see if he knew what to do and have to say this awesome man not only tried walking me through steps to try to resolve the issue but when that didn't work he headed to his office from home so he could grab batteries and bring them to me. Mind you this drive was almost an hour drive away from where I was. I began looking at different areas of the car and figured out what was wrong and how to start the car again and called him to cancel his trip. I was so grateful that he was willing to drive so far to help me and could not have asked for better customer service with this company. If you are really looking for honest people who embattle the truest meaning of customer service with vehicles that are not going to break down on you next week this is the company you are wanting to check out and when you do tell me them Michelle L sent you.

CarGurus We are a independent dealer who advertised with them for a very short time, only to have our leads sent to higher paying/larger dealers

We are a independent dealer who advertised with them for a very short time, only to have our leads sent to higher paying/larger dealers. Called our representative to address the situation and was aggressively talked to and was read a obviously scripted response. Then when we asked to cancel our contract, we were told "too bad you signed a 6 month contract that can not be cancelled" When we asked him to calm down he said " I am *** calm!" I would not recommend doing business with this company. Ever.

Buyer beware. After placing my ad I noticed that cargurus had made numerous mistakes that I requested be corrected. I requested that my car main description be changed to show I was offering a Certified 2018 Infiniti Q50 Sport model. The model was eventually changed to reflect it was a Sport model but nothing was ever done to reflect it as being a CPO vehicle. When I started researching deeper I began to notice that dealers with similar vehicles for sale were receiving much better IMV values from cargurus than private sellers were. I ran *** Blue Book comparisons and presented them to cargurus and they basically said it cost dealers more to sell a vehicle than private parties so they assigned them a higher rating. When I quit laughing I tried to explain to them a book value is a book value any way you look at it. They refused to change their rating on my car. I told them to cancel my ad immediately because I could not knowingly support a company who so grossly misrepresents what a good deal is by always slanting their ratings towards a dealer and against the public.

I thought I had made a good choice when going with CarGurus in an attempt to sell my *** Civic but I was sorely mistaken. I decided to sell my car directly to CarGurus as I have never done a private sale and the price they offered was very tempting. My issues with them started almost as soon as I had the first pickup attempt scheduled. I was told I would be sent a *** package with some necessary documents that I would give to the transport driver when they arrived. Day of the scheduled appointment comes and I had yet to receive said package, so I was forced to reschedule. I called CarGurus again and they sent me another package overnight, so I am not sure what the issue was the first go around. Turns out all that was in it was a checklist for my driver to fill out and instructions on how to sign a title. Very frustrating that that was what caused my initial delay. Nevertheless, I stuck with my second scheduled attempt for 12/28. I waited until over 2 hours past the pickup window ended with no word from the transport team (they were to call when they were 30 minutes away). I called customer support and after *** minutes on hold and talking to several different reps, I was told that a team was never even assigned to come get my car. They blamed it on short staffing, but regardless of the reason I should have been contacted. I never would have known had I not called myself. I was foolish enough to attempt a third pickup that was scheduled for today 1/4/2022. Same as the second one, pickup window came and went and *** minutes past that I still had no word. I called customer service and after being on the phone for 45 minutes was told that the wait for them to put me through to the transport team was so long they were going to have them call me personally. Going along with the rest of my experience, they never called me. I decided to give them about 3 hours and called customer service AGAIN around 4:30 pm. The rep was very polite and tried to keep me informed of the wait times to get through to the transport teams, but while on hold my call simply disconnected. There was no attempt to reach out to me, either after that or at any point in this process. Between that and wasting my PTO from work and my limited days away from work waiting for them to never come or contact me, I am beyond frustrated and done with dealing with CarGurus. I hope others don't make my mistake. I will be going with one of their competitors moving forwward.

CarGurus Zero communication, zero support

Zero communication, zero support. It has been 2 months since I completed the sale of my personal vehicle and neither I nor the buyer have been able to get support despite jumping through all their hoops. Customer service number is a long hold and promises to call back that never happen. Requests for refunds or cancellations are also refused. We began the sale on Apr 2. It is now June 23 and we have no idea where the title is or who to address our concerns to. If this isn't illegal then it's at least irresponsible.

DO NOT LIST YOUR CAR WITH CARGURUS! They froze my a/c because the number of responses my ad elicited exceeded their limit and in freezing my a/c, they cost me two bonafide buyers. By freezing my account, I was unable to respond to buyers' offers and Cargurus offered me no other option but to monitor my a/c as to when the freeze would be lifted; however, they could not tell me when that would take place. It's already at least a week and I'm unable to accept an offer. WHAT A SCAM! I gave them one star because zero stars was not an option.

I must confirm what other reviewers have here. Some one week after you pay to have your listing, CarGurus freezes your account, removes your listing asking you to take a photo of your car with a written CODE on the wind shield. This poses a dramatic problem, removing the listing, when buyers are interested in the car, conveying there is something wrong with the car.The business practices of GarGurus are amateur. You CarGurus should be doing any sort of certification out the gate, prior to getting paid for a listing, not after getting paid.I cannot recommend CarGurus to any sellers out there looking to sell their vehicles because of bizarre practice by CarGurus some one week later, pulling your listing, just like many others have complained here, submit some put a piece of paper on the wind shield so we can unlock your listing. CarGurus is behaving in a manner unfitting to a professional firm. Not professional.

I listed my car on Cargurus. A week later, I received a message from Cargurus Admin requesting me to validate my listing by submitting a photo with a code that was sent to me. I did it as instructed right away. Locked my account blocking me from access to messages. It stated that my listing is in processing, it may take two business days. I had a buyer at that time and lost the sale. Why didn't cargurus do it when I listed my car? In stead, it let me communicated with multiple potential buyers and then blocked me from the message in the name of "validation".

Dealership- Run from this dealership! The people at this dealership are not truthful. They are all very dishonest. They had a car listed on the cargurus.com website that I was interested in purchasing. I called and the car was available. I even texted and we even agreed on a price! I drove up during my lunch break to test drive the car...but interestingly, the car was not available for a test drive...per the salesman because it was in the shop. They said it would be ready tomorrow and gave this same excuse for the next couple of days until I found out the horrible truth that they had increased the price to this exact same car on the same website $4000 more and funny enough that this car IS AVAILABLE for a test drive and is available for purchase to a friend of mine that called! Such Awful business! This dealership will run you in a big circle and when confronted with this, all they could do was ask the name of the salesperson that you had spoken to? Really?

Beyond ***, if I could rate 0, I would. Babies sold my daughter a lemon, save your money go somewhere else. He sold her a car with out having the emissions done let her take it home. Then told her that you and your dad have to clear all the lights on the dash, frigging thing looks like a Christmas tree. But after we are done fixing his c*** car, he will pay for the emissions test. Beyond passed. Hope this helps anyone.

Car Guru provides lists of cars available for sale , but Do Not Guatantee that USED CAR DEALERS are truthful or honest about the cars they sell. I found and test drove a $5,000 used Jetta. Was told it was a great car with no problems so I put a small deposit to hold it and took it for a PREPURCHASE INSPECTION ($150)by an independent foreign car mechanic. The result was its not worth$500 let alone $5000! It was completely rusted underneath and had been sitting in flood from another state! The used car dealer KNEW that and wasnt surprised when I returned it and withdrew from the sale. NO GUARANTEES that Car Guru refers decent or even honest car dealers ir cars! BEWARE!

I placed an add with CarGurus trying to sell 2 cars. It that period I have called and left so many messages hoping to get a call back and sent emails to fix the online presence of the ads. To no avail, I have received one email which wanted clarification in which I sent multiple screen shots and have still not heard anything back, if you are looking for good customer service , look elsewhere for sure. They are constantly try to get you to upscale your ad with another upgrade. Maybe they are overwhelmed? Regardless look somewhere else . They are horrible!

CarGurus The experience certainly does not leave a transparent impression

The experience certainly does not leave a transparent impression. Excitement on a car that was probably too good to be true, followed by multiple automated emails confirming the seller's acceptance of the offer. Automated messages to schedule a test drive were sent. However, when a request to meet in person was made, not only did communication cease, but the listing also disappeared from the website, and all my communication with the seller was erased. There wasn't even a courtesy acknowledgement that the listing had been removed. It made me wonder if I had been scammed and now needed the correspondence for evidence. It almost felt like the website was complicit. I will not use this service again.

CarGurus Excellent car listing platform

Excellent car listing platform...BUT their business model is extremely unethical. They raised our prices by 1000% within 3 years of signing up with them. We started out with $300 per month membership. 3.5 years later we were paying $1400 a month. Then all of a sudden our membership was terminated without a notice. When we called they said we are getting too many leads and now they have to raise the monthly membership to $3400. ***, nothing changed. *** size inventory listed but because we price our cars lower and get more attention they want us to pay more. *** is not giving us anything more for the extra pay. They simply want more. Getting more leads than other small car lots is purely our own efforts. Why do we have to pay more to be able to work for less by pricing our cars cheaper than most? How does that even make sense? I have talked to *** rep multiple times about this. It all comes down to "We raise our prices because we can." I understand if your product is in demand then you sell it higher to make more money. However price increase of 1000% over 3.5 years should be illegal. This is kind of a third world dictatorship. PS. How is *** accredited having 1.67 stars out of 5? Is *** even real?

CarGurus If I could give them **** stars I would

If I could give them *** stars I would. Based on 2 experiences, the cars posted on this site are not real available, the dealers use these cars to bring you in, and after you waste your time coming in, they show only outrageously expensive similar cars, which were not listed.Car *** makes it impossible for victims to poste their experiences and rate the dealerships so consumers cannot even have an idea of what to expect. Also, the dealers will keep asking you how much you can pay per month without ever actually telling you the price of the car. After insisting on knowing how much for the car, and agreeing to apply for financing through them, I had a lot of denials and 1 approval (I have an above 700 credit) when I requested the credit applications from the banks, it turns out they requested more than $20,000 above the actual price of the car as financing, and kept lowering the dollar amount above the actual car price, until they get an approval. In my case, the approval was $7,500 above the car price. For example, I was buying a car for $32k, wanted to put $5k down, the credit approval was for $45 K? (It's like giving them $50 for a $32K purchase. When I asked them why would I do that, they said the additional money would cover the loan fee. My issue with car guru is that I couldn't even find a way to warn people on their site, it's impossible to find somebody to complaint to and or to rate the bad dealerships. In fact, when I tried my email they keep telling me you have to wait, and when I enter my cell number they tell me I have already review, which is not the case."

CarGurus CARGURUS Locks you in FOR LIFE!

BEWARE! When you post on a very seller UNFRIENDLY Cargurus site and you are Not lucky enough to sell your vehicle within a short period of time, a very disturbing 'time clock' is posted on your ad by the Cargurus software. This 'time clock' tracks how long your vehicle has been posted for sale (no matter how many times you try to delete your ad) and is just one of the many 'deterrents' that a potential buyer sees when Cargurus posts your listing and when any potential buyer looks at your vehicle for sale. Unfortunately, if a SELLER has unforeseen health or other issues causing the vehicle to remain listed for a prolonged period of time and unavailable to be shown, the 'time clock' doesn't recognize this and your vehicle gets tagged as a car that has been listed 'forever' and 'undesirable'... I had a vehicle listed and due to health issues, I was not able to show or sell my car for over 100 days while listed on the site, now I have a permanent 'time clock' showing 'active for 100+ days' and growing! Due to Cargurus keeping the sellers vin # on file indefinitely, this 'time clock' stays constant regardless of whether you delete your ad or not! Obviously, if a buyer doesn't know the sellers circumstances and sees a car listed for several weeks or months, they are going to pass thinking there is something wrong with the vehicle. Cargurus also posts a large warning 'opinion' next to all customer ads stating whether your vehicle is a 'good deal' or 'over priced' deal which is also unfair to the seller. I have a very low mileage vehicle, I listed it at the high end of the selling range and due to Cargurus warning 'opinion', Cargurus unfairly flagged the car as 'OVER PRICED' or 'ABOVE MARKET PRICE' which again, discourages perspective buyers to read further in the ad which would allow the seller to justify their asking price. Another disturbing thing a SELLER has to put up with is if a seller decides to lower the price of their vehicle listed, Cargurus notifies perspective buyers of this action thus indicating that the seller failed to sell their vehicle at a previously advertised price, again drawing attention to the fact that a vehicle maybe list for an lengthy period. Upon calling 'Jordan' at Cargurus customer service, I was told there is nothing he can do regarding my concerns but MOST DISTURBING OF ALL, I was informed by Jordan that due to my Vin # being on file indefinitely with the company, I CANNOT refresh or delete my ad!... it remains in the Cargurus data bank indefinitely!... you can only mark it 'inactive'... even if you deactivate the ad for a year and decide to repost it, it will then repost 'on the market for 365 days'! Bottom line... This is a BUYER friendly site only that is more interested in gathering your personal information than it is in seller your car! If you are a SELLER, don't waste your time or $$ with Cargurus... there are plenty of other sites to sell your vehicle without these troubling and disturbing seller unfriendly requirements, privacy intrusions, and policies.
VERY DISTURBING. AVOID!

CarGurus Cargurus is allowing a fradulent seller to have my vehicle listed on their site

Cargurus is allowing a fradulent seller to have my vehicle listed on their site. I had it for sale and the listing expired, and the scammer was able to list my VIN number and post a fake ad to sell it, EVEN THOUGH THE VEHICLE IS IN MY DRIVEWAY AND I STILL OWN IT. Cargurus has not responded to my email or phone calls about this matter, and does not have a exact way to report fraud besides emailing/phone. I demand Cargurus take this fake listing down immediately, and return the VIN back to my account ***. Link to the fake ad is below. I will take litigation against Cargurus if they allow my car to be used for fraud by the scammer in an ongoing matter.

Cargurus purchased my 2019 jeep cherokee on Jan. 5 2022. Documents were shipped to me including check for my jeep on Jan 7. 22 and appt to pickup my truck on Jan. 10 2022 between 9-11am. No one showed up and no one from Cargurus contacted me. I started making calls and my calls were dropped numerous times. Finally i spoke to Jose Perez and was told someone would pick up my jeep at 1pm. Once again no show up or courtesy call to me. I went to deposit the check because I commited and they purchased my vehicle. Called again yesterday and spoke to mgmt Alex. He said that they were trying to find a transport company. I explained to him that i have a job and and i am not getting paid to wait for cargurus to decide when they will be picking my vehicle. Today i checked my bank account and checked was returned and fees have been applied. They are telling me that they can pick up my truck next week, that is beyond my time. Their documents do not disclose if they do not pick up my car what the penalties are. I rejected other offers for my car sale because i committed to Cargurus. Cargurus is not fulfulling their responibilities to the consumer. Im missed work, offers and return check fee.

CarGurus Tried to sell my car through cargurus and did everything they asked even varified my identity

Tried to sell my car through cargurus and did everything they asked even varified my identity. My car wasn't getting as much attention as I had hoped so I paid the extra $20 to have my listing featured and the next day right in the middle of messaging 3 potential buyers who were very interested they took my listing down. Said I needed to write some letters on a piece of paper put it on the windshield, open one of the front doors and take a picture so they could verify I owned the car and wasn't trying to scam someone... Like are you freaking kidding me! Why now after the listing has been up for 25 days? Why not ask for this at the beginning before the listing is active? The picture of my ID, vin plate and license plate wasn't enough? I looked over the terms of service and the reasons the listing could be removed and I haven't violated any of it. Now I have no way to get my money back. This is completely unacceptable.

CarGurus My issue is extremely important and pressing

My issue is extremely important and pressing. I sold my *** privately on CarGurus and went through the CarGurus Pay system. The debit card I have on file (how you get paid) has been deactivated and it was recently hacked. So basically, I have no way to receive the money for the truck I just sold. I NEED to change my bank information. I have been trying to contact CarGurus for over 4 days now with this pressing matter via email and phone. I have been met with 2 customer support agents out of the likely 20 times I reached out. Both simply told me they could not help me and asked I write an email to *** which I proceeded to do. No response. The support number does not work. You MIGHT get a response 1/10 times if you call. The user support team that is supposed to respond to customer emails simply does not respond. This is getting ridiculous. I feel like this company does not care to help their customer base AT ALL! Very sad.

I signed on with Car Gurus Jan 3,2020 @$250.00 a month- it was for 6 months (I am a small mom-pop dealer). I cancelled on June 2 for no results or leads in selling our cars! I was charged beyond the 6 months-it was 8 mos that they charged me. I sent an email and also spoke to *** about the cancellation on June 2. The end of June received an email stating my contract will end Aug 1, 2020!? They only charged 125.00 in the month of April due to covid, which was nice but...then they charged 400.00 in June, 500.00 in July and 400.00 in Aug! Our ads were NOT up on the web! I called my credit card company to dispute the charges and was refunded the 900.00.Now I received a phone call from a lawyer from Car Gurus and are being threatened to pay over $1141.00 "Car Gurus may institute suit to recover the claim PLUS *** INTEREST *** COURT COSTS *** and *** DISBURSEMENTS."Since we are such a small dealer I feel that they have taken advantage of us during the pandemic!

Ive done busuiness with this company for several years. Ive been paying 3500 a month for a couple of them now. I was canceled at the end of my contract without a call to renew. When I called 2 days later I was told by *** Iwas paying only 2.60 a lead and I should be paying 25 per lead. If I wanted to renew it would be 9050 per month. I explained 8 couldnt afford that because I was a high volume low gross dealer. He said sorry to see you go. I asked to speak to a manager to discuss it further and I was told if he had the time to get back to me he would. I also called the main line a day later and asked for the manager and I was told they where in a meeting and didn't want to talk with me. There is no way to talk to anyone but the call center and I would like the higher ups in the company know how there once loyal customers are being treated. Thank you

CarGurus February 3 Purchase used 2019 luxury convertible, trading in 2011 model

On February 3, I purchased a used 2019 luxury convertible, trading in my 2011 model. The financing was set at $15,066 for 48 months. The salesman assured me that the vehicle would undergo a detailing cleanup that day. I also mentioned that it needed fuel after the test drive. After spending about four hours on approval and paperwork, the salesman confirmed the car was refueled and ready. I transferred my belongings from the old car to the new one and drove home. The next morning, I noticed the car hadn't been cleaned as promised. I contacted the dealership and spoke with a manager, who offered to send a $150 check for the cleaning services. However, after two weeks without receiving the check, I reached out to their headquarters with my complaint. Shortly after, I got a call from the salesman to discuss the issue.

I opened an account at cargurus.com during a period when my car was having electrical problems, and attempted to post a question about my issue, but they removed my review for not meeting their standards, or something.I got an Email from them explaining that my review had been removed, which included a link to click which was supposed to take you to the review in order to edit it, but clicking the link instead took you to a login page for cargurus.com, and after logging in to page that said Forbidden to be there, providing an option to return to the cargurus home page. This was confusing because I do not understand why they would provide a link that just takes you to the same message that was in the Email. As well, after logging into my account, I could find no method of viewing reviews posted, or attempted anywhere, which seemed strange to me. I have used their Contact Us help page to leave them a message about this, but am not *** confident that will provide a helpful answer!

CarGurus I contacted CarGurus seeking a refund for the $29.95 I paid to sell my car on their website

I contacted CarGurus seeking a refund for the $29.95 I paid to sell my car on their website. Since posting my vehicle, I received over 80 messages of interest and over 25 offers for my vehicle- all clearly fake. I replied to every message and only received 2 'human' responses. After this went on for a few days, I searched the internet and found that this is common practice for CarGurus, who seemingly overwhelm their 'clients' with fake leads, to keep them using their service- all the while wasting their time and money. I would like to have my money refunded, but if that happens I won't be upset. The bigger thing that I'd like to see is action taken against CarGurus, so that they can stop taking advantage of people with zero intention of helping them. I previously sold a vehicle through their site, when it was a free service. Then it acted more or less like a social media site that allowed interested parties to see vehicles for sale- much like *** now. It seems they saw an avenue through which to prey on consumers, and now I feel they should be stopped. It's shameful what they are doing.

CarGurus A couple of weeks ago I purchased a sales ad for a 2012 **** from CarGurus

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a sales ad for a 2012 *** from CarGurus. After a few days i noticed that if i put in the exact info from where i bought the *** off of CarGurus from a dealer it was listed as a great deal. I then proceeded to send them an email questioning the reasons. they said they couldnt find an email for the listing. I then gave them one of my 4 emails that I have was the most regularly check which I have received many emails from. I have had people looking for my *** on the site and spot that I paid for before being able to proceed with putting my information in. I received an email asking me to confirm my Vehicle. The title can be checked by them i have it in my hand. I took said Pictures and my *** still isnt listed on their site I have tried calling their Number but using the Private seller line got no answer so i used the dealer line where I quickly got attention. Got the email and sent it in. I am not a dealer but I have paid for a service and dealing with Huge Corps the only way to get results is to go through someone they can get in touch with in a more timely manner. I am not asking for anything I didnt pay for but I do expect the service to be rendered that I have Purchased. They have an email address if they need more info or they can check the VIN and Title through the State of ***. I dont know what else to do with them.I dont need an Apology from the Big Bad Guru but I do want the service that I paid for and the respect that should be given every paying customer or Dealer.

On Friday March 18, I purchased a 2014 Infiniti Q50 3.7 L v6. I was told the car had no damage or issues. I did initial inspection of the car was done via photos and video. There was no noticeable damage. After discussing prices and delivery fees we settled on the following agreement. Id purchase the car for $16,000 a price greater than their original asking price. The car was advertised for $14,900.00 via car gurus but I was told of a dealer fee, so I agreed to pay more. I then asked him if it was ok if I reg. and insured the car on my own; *** my sales rep told me that was fine. After buying the car via cash wire, I was told I needed to purchase insurance and submit it to them immediately. I didnt agree to that initially ; but I purchased it an did agreed to the following; my car would be delivered Friday with a Three hundred dollar delivery fee. So I rushed to the bank to wire the $16,000 dollars. I was then asked to sign forms via email which I did without reading them because I was pressed for time. The car didnt get delivered. I began to get nervous because he didnt keep our arrangements. By Monday March 21, at 9am I was at my bank trying to cancel my money wire I sent to them. The car was finally delivered Tuesday the 22nd. At which time I discovered the vehicle had a host of problems from the cameras not working, no navigation system, drivers door window faulty, drivers seat material melted looking, cracked front windshield, low key battery, scratches in the hood and else where. Theres a lot of features missing inside the car internally. I feel like the contract was broken when he didnt deliver as stated via telephone. I purchased my car from *** in . I can be reached via telephone at

CarGurus On May 27, I signed up and agreed to complete a purchase of a used car through CarGurus web portal

On May 27, I signed up and agreed to complete a purchase of a used car through CarGurus web portal. By completing the purchase through them, I hoped to securely and safely complete the transaction with the seller. They offered something like 60 days/$75000 purchase protection if there are issues with the transaction. I tried to bring up the terms and conditions of the program but they since removed it from their website. Here is a link to the program that I can no longer retrieve: *** On May 28, I signed and completed all the paper works necessary to complete the purchase of the car through CarGurus's payment processor, Autopay. On the same day, I wired the fund for the purchase price of the car over to Autopay May 29: I received confirmation from autopay that they have the fund in their bank account. May 30: The seller agreed to sign the paperwork and allowed to pick up the car June 1: Payment went out to the lienholder, Suntrust, to pay off the loan June 6: The Seller updated Autopay that the loan is paid off July 28: Through countless inquiries, I was informed by Autopay/Cargurus that the title is lost in the mail and they are putting in a request for a duplicate title. If I didn't request to escalate, I don't think they even bother to investigate for the delay or silence for almost two months. 08/13: I was informed that the request for a duplicate title was received by the DMV and that it will take 4-6 weeks for them to process it. It has been over 77 days now since I sent over the payment for the purchase of the car, I still have not received the title for the car. I have the car that I paid a handsome amount of money for that I cannot register to drive it. And I'm without a car to commute to work. I've reached out to both CarGurus and Autopay numerous times to ensure that they are on top of the situation. Even with all the inquiries and status updates that I requested of them, somehow they dropped the ball and now the original title is lost (at least that is what the claimed).
