This company is a scam. They send fake checks in the mail trying to get you to call & then they tell you you need to pay for their services. They send me a check every month. It's annoying. I don't live at the address they're mailing to anymore. Don't try to respond to this review about calling your company because I already have. What you guys are doing is disgusting.

This company is so misleading, it's ridiculous. I got a letter (they didn't even say it was from Catalina) with fake papers that looked like they were from the government. They called it the "90 Day COVID-19 Assistance Program" and had pictures of Lady Liberty and stuff from the U.S. Code. It's so sad that they try to trick people who don't know better. I wonder who told them it was okay to do this. Like, "Yeah, it's super misleading, but it's not illegal, so go ahead and trick people!"

It's been like a whole month since my court thing and I still ain't got my cash. Plus, the peeps who work there ain't even answering my questions no more. I went to court and they said I'd get my money in 10 days, but it's been a whole month now and I still ain't got it. And my contact person ain't even talking to me no more.

I been getting calls from this company for over a year now, sometimes many times a day. I keep telling them to take me off their list, but they won't listen. They get mad and hang up when I ask them to stop calling me. The next day, a different person calls me again. They just won't leave me alone. I don't want their service, but they keep calling me all day, every day.

I got a letter from Catalina Structured Funding, Inc. saying I have money. They sent me a check for $***. This is the 3rd time they sent me this letter. The check looks real. They said it's from the disbursement department after they reviewed funds from a court case in VA-Montgomery County District Court Case No. (Redacted for Privacy). They made it seem like it's from the local court system. This could trick people who are old or not educated. Catalina Structured Funding, Inc. should be closed down!

Catalina Structured Funding, Inc. is a company that sends me a lot of confusing mail that I don't want. They also call me on my home and cell phone a lot, even though I've asked them to stop. I've moved a few times and even got a P.O. box to try to get away from them, but it hasn't worked. They keep asking me for personal information that I don't want to give them, and they've even shared my information with my family members. It's not okay for them to harass me and my family like this. They need to stop.

The check's payer information doesn't list a company name but shows an address for a virtual office in Delaware. The fine print is misleading, indicating whether the mailed letter is an ad or an actual check owed to the recipient. The identifying information, "Issued by Catalina Structured Funding, Inc." is included. Catalina Structured Funding's physical address is in Los Angeles, and the prepaid postage is marked from the same city. It's a fake check to get people to call the company under false pretense and give them money to get money back.
