Cell c decided to take my entire salary I dnt how am I going to survice moving forwad. Data contract
A consultant called and offered me a router with a powerbank and data, it was a challenge for the delivery to be made and when it was eventually delivered I thought my problems were over not knowing that it was just the beginning, the sim card has not been activated and I've been calling for several times and kept being promised they would get back to me, it's been over two weeks now and what stresses me more is that money will be deducted from my bank account for a service that I don't even have, now the consultant is avoiding my calls. im disappointed.

I had a contract with Cell C which was meant to end in December, 30days before my contract ended i called in as i was advised to cancel it of which I did. In January out of the blue when I was hospitalized i keept getting calls and emails saying I owe Cell C. I explained that i canceled this contract but till to date I'm being blacklisted for someone else's mistake

Suspended line
I received notification on 270722 that my Cell C line has been suspended. When i called Cell C exclusive desk, [protected], i was advised that the month to month sim i cancelled last year was in arrears and that is why my lines were suspended. My problem is that when i cancelled the month to month sim, i was not advised that there is an arrear amount. Neither have i ever received an email, call or sms from Cell C advising that the specific number was in arrears. I applied for a additional line, which was approved, yet Cell C claims that i have an arears. I was advised that Cell C tried to debit my FNB account but they did not get payment and i never received notification of a debit that bounced. I feel that it is unfair that my lines are now suspended due to the lack of service from Cell C. No one ever informed me about the arrears. I never received any notification of debit orders not being met. I was advised that Cell C send a sms today, [protected] but i did not receive an sms and Cell C can only provide an account code but not a cell number that they have used.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate Cell C taking responsibility for not advising the customer with regard to arrears. I do not want to hear that they are sorry. It does not help my situation

Airtime disappearing

My complaint is that for this past month to two months my airtime (R100) at a time (x 3 to 4 times pm as I need) seems to get used up very quickly. I have data, watsapp data packages paid for over and above the airtime and wifi when I get home. I have no subscriptions that goes off either. So...
Of late I have been monitoring this and between the 21 July to the 25 July I made a total of 5minutes worth of calls accumatively. I checked my airtime today and R8, 08c left. Now I want to know that being on a prepaid payasyougo for many years I have never had this happen. Why now? I was previously a Vodacom prepaid client and migrated to Cell C and have had this number for a very long time.
I worked as a LCR dealer back in the day and also sold airtime contract packages for all three networks. So please advise as to what's going on!
Desired outcome: An explanation as to why this is happening and rectifying the situation otherwise I move elsewhere where I get a better service and value for money
Upgrade not done properly
Good day, I have a contract with cell c for years now, I got a call from upgrade's department around May this year, my agreement with the consultant was to upgrade the phone that is due for upgrade but it was never done, instead they gave me a new contract. I only realised when the money was deducted by the end of June. I personally went to Cell C store in Centurion, the lady at the store called customer care to resolve the matter and they promised to resolve it in 48hours, but nothing was done. I kept on calling cell c on several occasions and they were taking me from pillar to post without any solution. My last call with them was yesterday and nothing was done as well.

i laid a complaint in April after cell c took more money than the amount we agreed on and the lady i spoke to promised to get back me and she never did,i got a call later from cell c again and the gentleman i spoke to promised to escalete my matter and that someone will call in the next 7 days if i heard correct not 7 years,and still nothing ,i havent been paying my monthly installment because i have been waiting for my matter to be attended to and the correct amount to be confirmed but no one is bothering,as long as my phone is no longer working then its okay for cell c,they dont sent statement,they dont call anymore and the next thing i know my name will be listed.Cell C has a very bad customer service and you people dont care about your customers .Today is July and boom i see -3000 from my account taken by cell C ,for what i dont know ,you people are crooks ,i complained about extra 300 hundred extra taken and today you taking 3000 just for fun of it ,what a wow..

Phone contract
I went to cell c shop in Cresta mall, The lady who was assisting me was so helpful but unfortunately the guys helping at the credit department was quite rude and mean… I went to open a new contact which I was told I only qualify for R250 credit, I nicely asked the lady that since the winding I wanted was R269 can’t I be given R16 top up which I got an impression that I can get a 10% top up on top of the R250.. Sandly the guy by the name MJ refused and said I didn’t bring a payslip though I was told to go to the bank and print a 6 months statement that wil replace the payslip… I am a very disappointed client..

Fraudulent Contract under my Name
I received an SMS from a credit bureau informing that Cell C did a credit check on my name on 22-06-2022, I immediately called Cell C to notify them that I didn't request or apply for any account with them. I also sent an email to their customer and fraud department. Nothing was done after that, on 21-07-2022, I received an email from the credit bureau that an account was opened on 24-06-2022. They did nothing to stop the application of this account after informing immediately when they were still doing credit checks. I submitted the affidavit and I copy as specified but when I followed up still nothing is being done. This is causing me time, money and energy to be up and down trying to fix something which the company is careless about our personal information, they allow anyone to open an account without doing proper security checks. Can I get someone to really solve this thing. It's for the second time this they allow someone to open an account under my name.
Desired outcome: The account must be closed and I don't intend to open an account with Cell C, so please block any future applications under my name.

long outstanding claim for stolen cellphone
On the 6 of June I reported my cellphone to cell c Kimberley with all my details police report statements of the break in to my car on 5 July i have to give again all the details and police reports I did not t receive any feedback after that until i threatened to go public on social media about cell c poor service
then suddenly they want photos and a invoice for the repair on my vehicle i send it then by email again yesterday I got a mail that my claim was successful and I paid the excess fee of 409.90 then I received a mail after two days after I sent proof of payment of the excess fee I received a email that I must provide the name of the store were i can pick it up I the reply request the name and places where the closest store is to Kuruman they reply with" there is no store in Kuruman" damn i know that that is not what i asked for! Again i start to threaten with social media and only then somebody respond that the cellphone can be delivered to my home and work address I then reply with my work address and they request me to confirm the address with a photo of the police station where I work and the address then I received another email please send the address where the cellphone can be delivered DAMN IS THIS PEOPLE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT THEIR WORK OR DONT THEY CONSENTRATE ON WHAT THEY ARE DOING

After 4 months of begging and pleading and no one to assist except a shop clerk, you cut my line? again! and I have paid you in full and proved it by emailing all documents and dropping off physical evidencce - nothing has been done and i've waited for a week now to send you correspondence. Fraudulent Cell C debit orders
I have been receiving a debit order on my bank account since August 2020. I have NOT applied for any Cell C accounts yet every month an amount of R722.50 has been debited and I have had to reverse this debit every month, costing me money and affecting my credit score. I have tried calling Cell C and have been sent from pillar to post and even the legal dept cannot help me, they say cancel with your bank. My bank says cancel with Cell C and so it's been going. The Cell C fraudsters keep changing the debit order reference every month so my bank cant stop it and I cannot close the account as my debits and salary come off there.
This has caused me so much grief and affected me mentally as I cannot obtain credit due to my score. all because of the thieves at Cell C. They have now listed a default on my Transunion profile for an amount of R722.50, which I know nothing about. I wonder how many others have been scammed by these skelms.
I wanted this default removed ASAP or I approach the Ombud. This is affecting my livelihood and ability to provide for my family as I need to buy a new vehicle but cannot do so. I am in sales and need a new car for my job.
Desired outcome: Remove default, I do no have a Cell C account. If you persist then please send me a copy of the contract I signed?????This is blatant fraud

Prolonged wait for a paid-up letter
This is the latest on my forever ongoing request for a paid-up letter.
So after I posted a complaint on the 22nd of June 2022 I received a call about two days thereafter to investigate my case, which was by far the most assistance I've ever gotten from cellc.
On the call I was informed that there was an outstanding amount which Cell C had not brought to my attention or notified me about, hence the reason they could not provide me with a paid-up letter.
I decided to pay what ever I needed to so that this nightmare could finally be over.
When liaising with the cellc agents I specifically asked that when I make payment will I receive a paid-up letter and it was said that the amount owed will be the handover amount of the paid-up letter.
I then made an immediate payment on the 6th of July 2022 with good faith that this time it would not be a long drawn out process to receive feedback, the following day the agent responded and confirmed receipt of proof of payment, thereafter a request was made to allocate the payment to the correct account.
Since then I have not received any feedback even after sending countless emails to all the cellc emails that I could find. I was told it would take a maximum of 72 hours to receive feedback. It is now heading for 2 weeks since I made that final payment.
I said this before and I'll say it again. I am in urgent need of the paid-up letter. I did the right thing and now cellc yet again is not responding to any of my emails. I am attaching the email that states that cellc is in receipt of the proof of payment.
Unfortunately this is my last attempt to resolve this myself. If I do not receive the paid-up letter by the end of the week I will have no choice but to take legal action against cellc to resolve this matter as it is a major setback in my life. It is not only affecting me but my family as well.

Contract [protected] that is permanently deactivated
I have had an existing contract with Cell C Kimberley . I seldom use the phone for outgoing calls, mostly for Incoming Calls, WhatsApp and Video Calling. In last week it came to my attention when my office colleague's, family members and friends complained they cannot reach me it says 'The Number does not exist'. In last week I was in Centurion and went to the Office in the mall. Very unhelpful and said I should call Customer care and I cannot do it there and I asked how do I call them since I am blocked from everything. They ended upbgiving me a statement with an amount of R3 705 and told to to sort itvout with legal. Eventually got to call Customer from my family member number when I returned to Kimberley they referred to to Legal as my Contract Number was permanently deactivated. Upon enquiry, Cell C never debited my account . According to them I payed R516 less and an R87 in April 2022. Then my account was not debited for May and June which automatically made me in arrears for 3 months and permanently deactivated my contract on 30th June. My contract is monthly R429, However I was still billed for July and because my contract was cancelled upon Cell C instruction I was liable to pay R3 705. The saddest part of it all I was always a loyal customer it was just this year was a bit financially difficult withh my mom's passing. I was due for a upgrade in September and now ai was forced to pay the whoke outstanding cobtract amoubt which comes to end actually in December on top of it I do not have access to my phone number and its where alll my details and bankig details go to. So just imagine all this frustration and several sections I had to call. I humbly request Cell C to look inro this matter and see howbthey can please accommodate me to reinstate my contract. As I have had this number for moat of my working careers and to change numbers now is a catastrophe.
Your assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

my dads contracts was wrongly cancelled
this all started on the 29 April when I the daughter received a sms stating that the contracts will get deactivate .I sent the message to my dad . he then contacted customer service to find out what is happening. he spoke to agent who had assured him the service will not be cancelled as we making payment by the next day 30 April .
the next day 30 April they cancelled all my dads contracts which he had 5.
when we called up again on the 1 may they said to us that it was a mistake and they can see that the account was not in arrears.
till date nothing as been done to assist us. we have had 5 contracts and have been paying 2200 every month .
I'm very disappointed and would like to lay a formal complaint over the service we have received and have still received no help.
Desired outcome: I would like all my dads contracts to be reinstated as well as the payment we made of 7082 to be allocated to the account .
Cancellation of contract
On the 20th june 2022, I have made payment of r 14 252.23 to cell c to settle my contract debt, I was told once I have made the payment, I had make a phone call for cancellation of contract as the payment will reflect after 48 hours, I did call for the cancellation of contract only to find out that the money is not showing on their system, I was asked to send a proof of payment, I did send the proof of payment to the email address they gave me, after two days I did phone again, I heard the same story, I was then reffered to another department for allocation of funds, they also requested for proof of payment, I did send the proof of payment, july 8 2022, I recieve an sms with a reference then I was told the funds will be allocated in my account after 48 hours, till today's date no funds have been alocated in my account, when I phoned them they say their system shows that my query is still on process, its been weeks now
