service cancellation - still billed for it
I have cancelled my data contract on the 08th of August for number [protected], Renata Tedesco, I have received sms from Cell C that the contract will be terminated on the 08/09/2019 but I was still billed R.105.00 on the 30th of September.
I will ask my bank to stop debit order from my side and I am asking you to kindly terminate the contract as my IPad and number I have mentioned above is not working. I can't access Internet since the 08th of September 2019 as you have suspended the service but you didn't cancelled the contract and debit orders.
Please stop debit order from your side and stop billing my account.

iam yet to receive deliveies for two new contracts from cell c but all I get is rudeness and dissapointment my quiry is still unsolved
Hi I ordered two contract on the 25th of September was assisted by a guy named Sipho Mhlali, who made me aware that my order will get to me the following day latest friday the 27th i called in thursday the 26th to follow up as i had not received any notification, i was told that they cant puick up the order and after the call i started to received approval sms's . i called in on friday to follow up and was advised by cell c that my order will be delivered beforeend of business, called in later that day and another consultant advised me that my order will only be delivered monday, i got the chance to spaeak to Sipho Mhlali before his knock off tome at 4 pm as advised by the agent who transfered me to him, he was very rude and was asking if i want to concell the contracts or not and after some exchange of expelanations he said EISH and dropped my call just after 4 PM on friday . called in again and i asked that they change my address as i would not be at home, the agent Thabiso Robert asssited me and chaged the address friday. i then received sms today from RAM that my order will be delivered today 30 September at my home address, called cell ce to find out why and i was advised that they will call the RAM to reroute to my office address and deliver today, when i called RAM they advised that they still need permission from sender to change delivery so my order will only be delivered wednesday. called in later and spoke to Palisa who i was on a call with for an hour and advised that zinhle was the agent who i was speaking with in the morning and i needed to speak to but i still have not recieved call from her. called lastly and spoke to Vusi just before 5PM and he also could not assist me he, just like Sipho, dropped the call just after 5.
i am now confused as to what one needs to do and very sad

I javr two contracts and they cancelled both contracts i have laid a complaint about them charging me for a contract that was upgraded and the never got back to me they cancel my upgraded contract as well as my pld contract to which i completed a two year contract. 2 months ago I booked my phone in for repairs. Up to this day NO ONE has contact me. I have to contact them everytime. After a month and a half went by and I still haven't heard ANYTHING regarding my phone I was told the forms was filled in incorrectly and I have to go in and do it all over again. Once again I was told that they would phone me in the same week and I STILL havent heard anything. I have phoned numerous times sent numerous emails and all I am told is they havent received anything and still theybexpect me to pay excess. This is the worst service I have ever gotten.

Just to put you in the picture this is what has transformed since July or so, and now at this stage my service has been disconnected.
If I recall some time in August I got a call from CELL C saying that my debit order got returned, who knows why as there was sufficient funds in my account as you can see from the attached statement. I was then asked if CELL C could run the debit order again to which I said yes and guess what nothing happened.
One can clearly see by the bank statement that this is not a problem from my side, I have spoken to Nedbank and they have also confirmed that this is not an issue on their side, so the problem must lie with CELL C. What also worries me is that my phone is a business tool and not a leisure tool, my credit ratings are obviously been affected and I am not sure what interests going to be added to my account for non payment, at this stage this is affecting my work and my costs involved in trying to sort this should be charged to CELL C at my hourly rate. I also have 4 contracts with you and only 2 seem to be a problem, so you should have my correct banking details.
I have all day yesterday tried to get through to your customer care, this service seems to be an absolute waste of time as one cannot get through to a consultant and your system is telling me I owe zero cents, what is going on.

I am very unhappy about the unprofessionalism Cell C is demonstrating to me. I once had data contract with Cell C which according to me expired on the 27th of July 2019. I took it upon myself to call customer care two months before contract expires on two or three occasions just to confirm the procedures of canceling that contract completely when expiry date comes. The consultant kept telling me that contract can be made on month-to-month basis of which I was not interested in because I already had new contract with your competitor provider. Come August 2019 there was a debit on my account of which I reversed and then call customer care again for clarity and assistance.The consultant on that time mentioned that the contract was renewed according to the system.We then agreed that a recording be made available and will contact me in 24hrs. That never happened and I had to call again and I was told the contract is finally closed on 28 August 2019. This month another debit order again went through and I reversed it as according to me contract expired on 27 July 2019. I am concern that this might affect my credit profile. My son was mugged. The Huawei p10 lite was taken with Vodacom but at the time of the incident. It had cell c sim card. It been four days of living help. Customer service is the worst. I went to Cell C kolonade with a box. They tried to help but customer service does not want to blacklist. Each time I call I have to relate my story and they keep on changing stories. The worse one they dwell on security question of which some my son cannot answer because he is still traumatized from being mugged and badly hurt. I have a contract with cell c but I will not recommend friends

I've been with Cell C for years but must add that this will be my last contract with them as the level of service has gotten so bad that only a totally insane person will tolerate that.
1. I have not received a bill in almost four years
2. For the last two years every month for some explainable reason my debit order does not go through (although nothing has changed on my side), which result in my services being suspended for a day or two each month.
3. This is the third phone they give me in six months as the software on the Phone they supply is so outdated and just stops working for no apparent reason (Common occurrence according to them) which have left me without a phone for five weeks in the last six months.
4. Calling the call center is like talking to a wall as they are very unhelpful and and have no idea what they are doing there.
5. Every month I have to call and reconnect my services as Cell C is too useless to solve a billing issue that is clearly on there side and just try to shift the blame to the banking institution.
6. I run a training center and own a tire supplier in another town and have made sure that both institutions migrate all their phones away from Cell C (in total 97 contracts) and will continue to advocate against Cell C with every one I meet until Cell C clean up there act.
My aim is to at least move 1500 contracts away from Cell C ensuring a loss of at least a million a month.
Lets see how low that will hit in this economic situation.
Will it be possible to cancel this contract and migrate this number to Telkom asap?
Assist with what, your incompetence, please read your own reviews an organisation that has 96% negative reviews on the net is heading on a slippery lope. Good luck and I cannot imagine renewing this contract when it runs out.

I had a new contract with cellc last year 2018, i lost the phone within a month i contacted cellc to report my missing phone and contacted cellc insure to find out if i had insurance under that device as i couldn't recall if i applied for it. i was told that i do not have insurance under that device. surprisingly today i had called cellc queering my alarming billing, only to to find out i have been billed too much for the services i didn't signed up for more importantly i have been billed for the cell phone insurance on the phone i lost last year the one i queried if i have insurance on and i was told i don't have insurance. could cellc investigate the matter or pay me back my money i have paid for insurance, i dont understand after i have reported the stolen device how do you continue billing insurance on that device till to this day.

cellc fibre downtime
We have signed up with Cell C fibre on the 21/08/2019. On the 12/09/2019 there was supposedly a software upgrade on the Fibre line which brought our fibre connection to a standstill. I was given a problem number 111242 and was advised by SADV that they had 72 hours to resolve the problem. The Fibre connection started to work again on the 15/09/2019 for a couple of hours and then it started dropping the line and with it we had no Internet service. I phoned SADV on the 17/09/2019 and complained which they then advised that this was a general problem in the area as there had been water pipes damaged and the council was digging up the pavement and at the same time damaging the fibre lines. This carried on until 20/09/2019 when I contacted Cellc Support and advised that I was getting a runaround from SADV and was then given a Problem number 113861. I kept on at both Cellc support and SADV during the weekend of the 21st and 22nd but I got no answers from both Cellc and SADV. I eventually sent an email to [protected]@fibre.co.za on the 25/09/2019 with a Speed Test result of my limited access and given a further problem number CF093077. It has been two weeks that I have been sitting with a problem with no internet access and limited access when it is available. It seems that the signal at times is so weak that it drops the internet and the service light goes out on the Fibre module on the wall. I am at the stage of cancelling this contract and looking at a service provider that will give me better service. overcharged and not respecting my instructions
I have upgraded and the official date was 11 September 2019. I received an sms on this date confirming my upgrade and my services included in this upgrade which includes 10GB Data every month. On my debitorder date the 20th of September 2019 I was overcharged with R950. They charged me for the 10GB data which is part of the contract. When I call on Saturday, 21 Spetember 2019 they confirmed they have made a mistake and first have to log a case and someone will phone you within 48 working hours. When I logged the case I stated that I don't want a credit I need a refund. I was also threatened if I send the debit order back that they will cut my services. Now today is the 26th of September 2019 and I was told I will be credited. Which I am furious because I did state from the start I need a refund. Now will log a case for a refund that will take up to 7 days. They made the mistake not me, they take your money immediately, but I have to wait 2 weeks for a refund!

I have a contract with Cell c for the amount of R199 in June 2019 I paid a credit amount of R4666 on the contract as that was the amount given to me by cell c, as I understand that the R4666 will then be a credit on my account and I will then not be debit from my bank account, but since then my contract has been cancelled and I have been billed an early cancellation fee of R417 which I have not requested, for some reason my contract was reinstated but as a new contract and now with the amount of R205, I have contacted cell c on a number of occasions from July up to September, It was then brought to my attention that the matter has been resolved but yet my bank account has been debited, i am very disappointed with the service, it's easy taking customers money and done so on time but it's always a struggle to get money back or any issues resolved. I would highly appreciate it if you can have a look at this and resolve it as soon as possible

HI, I have tried phoning cell c customer care centre and keep getting cut off as soon as I get through to a consultant. I have wasted R55 in airtime today alone and still no resolution due to being cut off. This is very frustrating. I have logged a complaint with regarding to my statement on the cell c website already with the hope that someone would resolve this error before the debit order goes off, yet to date I have had no response back on the complaint and the statement still reflect incorrectly. Please refer to the attached showing that I should get 100% discount on the 1gig data that is part of my package, yet my statement reflects only a 10% discount. THis is incorrect. I have 4 cell C contracts which Ive just upgrade. I then sent one device back unsealed because my husband wanted another device. When I initially upgraded it was done in mninutes. This time it took me 4 days and a 30 minute call today with no positive outcome. I asked to change the device from a samsung 10 e to samsung s10 plus. First they wanted a CCD number which nobody sms to my phone. I was then promised a call back which I never received. I called back 4 times. I spoke to a Celicia and then I demanded to speak to a team leader only to be given a message that the team leader says she"ll do the cancellation and issue a new device. After holding on a solid 30 minutes Celicia came back onto the line saying they have first have to redo a credit score and they close at 2 so she will only be able to call me back later or if its after 2 only on Monday 22 Sept.
So can someone please explain to me how I initially got 4 devices with ABSOLUTE no issue and all I now want to do is exchange the device with a price difference of R300 and no subject to a credit score. I have been with cell C for more than 4 years and to be treated like this is utterly disgusting to say the least.
I find it utterly pathetic service with no professionalism from a team leader who doesnt even have the decency t come to the phone and have a conversation with me.
If anyone even cares about service someone from Cell C will call me back today still.

In this entire week she has been the only one who has stepped up and called back when she said she would.
In all the other calls Ive made the consultants wanted my entire reason for my call only to be transferred to 3 different departments.
Thank you Celicia so much. You just saved Cell 4 clients! I hope Cell C and your supervisor (who refused to come to the phone) gives you the recognition you deserve. We need more client orientated people like you who take ownership!

I am a clientnof cell C for over 10 years. I took a second contract on my name. Everything went well and The cell phone was delivered fast.
After this it all went to wrong.
When I opened the phone and the sim card gave an error. I was informed that the sim card wasnt rica on my name..
I was informed to call back between 8 and 5. I called and a call was logged. After 48hours the phone was still not on. I called again and advised they will escalate... Another 24 hours and still no answer or feedback.
The managers also dont call back... So still no answers and a fustrated client and a dissapointed user...

On tuesday the 10th of september 2019 I bought a hurricane cellphone from the shop via a mr pollen nkuna. I bought the phone based on his words that it comes with a free 6month exchange no matter what happens to the phone.
I asked "even if the screen brakes"?
He said yes, no matter what, even if the screen brakes.
Friday the 13th (of all days) it fell out my pocket and I deed did crack the screen.
I went to the store the 14th to exchange it as per mr nkunas sales promise.
He was not in. The manager tumelo called him to verify my story which he denied, on speaker phone I asked if he is willing to undergo a polygraph test, as I am, to verify it... He refused.
I asked tumelo for the area managers no 3 times, he ignored me.
I also signaled my fiance to come into the shop who was sitting in the car.
She came in to the store where I introduced her by name to tumelo, who asked her what my words were when arriving home with the phone on tuesday, to which she replied"he (that's me) said he got this phone here at a great deal as he can return it anytime in 6months even of the screen brakes"

Today I went to the store to find out what's cooking as i'm clearly being ignored.
The salesman in question, mr pollen nkuna (a manager) reacted aggresive towards me and came from behind the counter, past his colleague approaching me with a raised voice and started to clinch his hands making me feel I was about to get assaulted.
I asked him why is he getting so aggressive and shouting at me...
His colleague told me to remain calm and did not subdue mr pollen nkuna in any form and sided with mr pollen.
I would like my matter resolved without having to return there please.
I do not wish to be intimidated again and shall only go there with police presence.
I shall be reporting the matter to the sap.

The manner which they accused me of "throwing" it on the floor this morning and attempted assault in my opinion is disgusting.

I have been looking at upgrading my cell phone contract with CellC for some time.
On 12/09/2019 I received a SMS message from CellC promising me a deal on a Hauwei Y9 Prime for R249. It promised me 1.5g of data as well as 3 hrs call time. This deal was valid for Friday 13th only.
I submitted my Rica documents to Cell C to enable them to process the contract. On collection of my phone at 17.00 I discovered that the 3 hrs call time was in fact 1hr to other networks and 2hrs to CellC network. I did however proceed with the transaction.
I feel that this is false advertising to enable CellC to garner extra clients andthat they have not delivered what they promised. This is aggravated by the fact that a person is not able, by just looking at a cell phone number, to know whether it is on a CellC network or another network.
