Cell C Customer service and payment failures

Cell c is most far the worst company ever I’ve been calling for weeks they never credited the money from my account when I call they refuse too debt the money and stated that i should eft the money and sent proof of payment yet I did so when I called they say they haven’t received it this is putting me more in debt I’m tired your agents don’t know how to do they job I’ve been trying out yourl since 2013 I just want my contracts too and expire soo I can leave

Cell C No paid up letter received and account handed over

Hi All.

Hope this email finds you well.

I need help with providing me with a paid up letter, the account was paid up at the beginning of 2019. However I have had multiple calls stating that I owe +R7000 and I have been requesting for am investigating and assistance to have this matter resolved and none of the agents I have spoken to assisted me thus far. Please can you go back and check on my account and the payments that were made and the balance that was owed at the time. I am disputing owing anything as I have requested a paid up letter from cellc multiple times. All the details required are below. Kindly get back to me with a response as soon as possible as every call I get states that I owe more money which I cannot afford.

Please note that I have called the customer service department multiple times and nobody has been of any assistance.

Cell C Samsung z flip 4!!

I have done a upgrade on the 6th of February 2023. Which the Samsung z flip 4 was on promotion with a add on phone. My application was successful, we waited a two week period as discussed with the consultant the waiting period time. After the long wait I still received no feed back. So I got in contact with customer service regarding my application they then proceed to say it's about the color and put me through the upgrade department again to change the color cause the color requested was no longer available. When transferred I asked if the add on was still going to be available since I had no feed back from cell c and it's a new month with a new booklet, the consultant then proceed to say unfortunately it can't be done. Because that promotion was for last month, yet no one contacted me regarding this and I have been a cell c customer for over 15years. I didn't want any hassle so we proceed with new upgrade contract because of the color change with no add on. This all was done on the 22nd of February 2023. I waited again for feed back but there was none given about the device I requested. So I decided to call again to confirm again an issue with color and no stock. I have been waiting over a month for this device and no delivery or feed back whatsoever this is the longest I have ever had to wait for a device to be delivered to me very disappointed with cell c.

Cell C Service on account

Good day i have send numorous e mails to customer sevice , the only responce was today that say contac 135 , acording cell c cusomer service i cant up grade because my account is not paid , i mtry to sort this out since last year okt 2022 then they ask proof of payments where i did sen it in pdf file to accounts department where i was informed from a customer agent that my account are paid with a surplus of over R4000 zar rand , with all my emails all responce is that i must rate there service they gave me email adresses when i send my querie it just came back as undeliverd or the message say that they will came back in 24 to 48 hours but no responce or any form of back feed , when i phone customer care140 when i tried to explain to the agent the answer is phone 135 and then they again told me contact accounts dep or contact up grades where they again told me contact customer sevice it is is becaming of front and back im a customer for 23 yrs with cell c , i think this is a bad complaint against cell c by not resolve my querie

Cell C Amount of R97 handed over.

Amount of R97 handed over. Account was closed with Cell C in Feb 2021 and was paid in full before i ported my number.

Account was cancelled at Cell C Greenstone. February 2021.

I have been in store and phoned the call center. I have no account owing with Cell C.

Please contact me urgently as I am not receiving any assistance through the normal channels.

Desired outcome: The amount must be reversed of my credit score of R97 with immediate effect. I have no account with CELL C. Everything was settled at the time Feb 2021 when I closed my account and ported my number.

Cell C Insurance claim on my lost device

I was using Huawei P30 and I had it Insured with CEL c,on the 4th of October 2022 I had an early Upgrade. I Upgraded to Huawei 9se light ,They we running a promotion of 2 devices basically buy one and get one free,They had a blue and black phone so I requested a black phone and I gave the blue phone to my Son. Since I had insurance I asked the consultant that was assisting me to insure the new phone or update my insurance,insure the black phone since both my sim cards were going inside that phone.She agreed to that and said that she is doing it on the system.On the 26th of February I lost my phone while shopping,It was month end and the mall was very busy,i realised that my phone was missing when I got to parking ,went back to the stores I couldn't find my phone and by that time it was switched off.I reported my phone lost immediately,black listed the phone and both SIM cards,went to submit the claim forms at CEL C woodlands.I was told that the lady that sòld me the phone is no longer working there however they did their best to assist.To my surprise I was told that my new 9se device wasn't insured ,my son's phone is insured,i wasn't getting anywhere with the consultants,i went to CEL C Menlyn then I was told that non of phones Insured only my old P30 is insured and I i gave it away.

Desired outcome: Someone needs to take responsibility,stop sending me from pillar to post .I have been paying my insurance i followed all the procedures I need a phone I am busy looking customers.

Cell C Stolen Mobile phone. +[protected]

Good day, I had a new contract signed on 21-01-2023 with Cell C at Kolonnade, Pretoria, requesting insurance on the phones and reitterated twice. as per previous phones, without adherance to my request. The lady doing the contract, however, did not adheere to my request as I found today.

I was robbed from my phone in Pretoria CBD, this afternoon 6/2 2023 at about 12:30.

I rushed to Kolonnade to have the device black listed just to fine that the phone is not insured.

On the day as well as a number of days after the contract was signed, Me and my spouse had numerous issues with the Samsung Galaxi A33 5G phones, which we went back to Cell C in the Mall for assistance. The personnel could however, not completely assist, therefore I did visit Samsung's outlet in the Mall where they assisted gladly and proptly.

I hereby lodge a complaint about the quality of some consultants at the said Cell C outlet and wish you to consider the insurance and subsequent loss of the hand set.

Cell C Cell C account

Good morning

I paid an arrears account in July 2021 up to date. the same number was migrated to a new contract, which I am still using up to date.

In September 2022, I received a letter of demand from CSS solutions, on behalf of Cell C for the amount of R 10,700.00

I paid the amount owing in 2021 to the amount of R 11,700.00

After many requests I was informed that this amount is for a cancellation fee.

My contract was never cancelled and was migrated to a new contract on the same number, still under my name.

Any and all requests to assist to solve this matter has been ignored and new demands have just been sent again and again.

I am seriously dissapointed with Cell-C and the poor service received

Cell C Paid up letter for my closed contract

I called Cell C to pay outstanding amount and paid up letter for a contract I had with them. They promised to send me the letter within 2 days. The time has passed and there's nothing. I urgently need it and I had mentioned it to the consultants. I feel like I am not getting any satisfactory help from Cell c. I don't understand why a paid up letter would take so long as well.

Desired outcome: I need my paid up letter sent to me asap.

Cell C Service at The Bridge store in Port Elizabeth and back and forward emails and telephone conversations.

In September 2022 I email Cel C and told them not to deduct debitorder from my bank I lost my job and draw UIF only by it was on different dates so my debitorder cant go off on the 25 of every month.I paid in cash in Cell C bankaccount a Nedbank accoount.U have 2 Cell C accounts and made one payment for both with the account numbers as refference and every time email my proof to them.But every month still Cell C add the R70 penalty fee for debitorder onto my accounts and some monyhs x3 times so now my accounts stay in arrears and my one account was suspended and the other one will be soon.I could not upgrade in November as of this and still there is no end to this and the shop assistant that I had to go to in Pe as there is no CellC in Jeffreysbay where I stay or nearby can now for almost 2 weeks not sort out the account and tell me that not she or the manager can and I have to do so myself.I am very unhappy with Cell C and am a client for long now.I would not recomment any one to go to Cell C very bad service and exsperience.My credit score reflect as a bad payer now and Im debt free.

Desired outcome: I want my name cleared and my credit record restored plus I would like my upgrade or else I would never buy from Cell C again.

I had a contract nr which I ported from mtn. I missed a few payments cell c suspended my account. I than paid up thr full contact amount now I can't have my nr back on a prepaid basis. I also applied for a new contract last week on 21 Feb 23 petunia who helped me when I called 084135 told me she will get back to me as she needs to check something with thr credit department. Till now no reed back from her

Cell C Bad network

I am really dissatisfied with the cellc network lately.Besides having loadshedding i completely understand why it would be slow. But even when its not loadshedding my network is completely bad. It costs me alot of money and I cant afford to lose any more money.Ive been with cellc for 10years now. And going in for another 2 years. And now im stuck with cellc... Please do something

Cell C Contract

I applied for contract with cell I was handed over in 2020 and I was not made aware of this I continued Making direct payments into my cell c account after they told me the funds do not appear I contacted cell c were they made me aware of my hand over I pay through the lawyers my account were settled but the extra R540 was never refunded to me I spend the entire 2021 calling and emailing cell c I never received help I now have cell c in my bureau showing that is still active. I work weekdays from 8am till 6pm so this whole contacting me via phone call do not work for me ..please help me with refund and updating bureau that I paid and closed that account

Cell C Cell c data contract - [protected]

I am so dissatisfied with the daily harassment of Cell C.
I am getting daily phone calls from Cell C about outstanding money on my Cell C account.
My contract is coming to an end on the 9 March 2023..
I have received phone calls from Cell C since May 2021.
I had a Cell C data contract that I paid monthly prior to this contract which was R158.
In 2021 I upgraded my contract in the upgrade period to the current contract.
I have paid my account monthly and on 2 occasion made late payment and sent through the proof of payment.

I have spoken to a Team leader in November/ Dec 2021, and he has escalated this, and I just don’t get the feedback. The daily phone calls continue, and I then went to CELL C Cavendish store where the store Manager escalated it and still waiting for an answer. The Store Manager picked up an error on CELL C side with the contract numbers and sent this through the dept that deals with this. Almost a year later and still waiting on response. I had a credit of R92 on my account and was supposed to be reimbursed but that also never happened. The monetary amount that I owe as per CELL C changes daily and everyone says they are escalating this issue and still no feedback.

I have been with CELL C for more that 10 years and have paid my account monthly on the 23 of the month and even then, my account was blocked twice. This is my dilemma with CELL C. Due to this pathetic service and daily harassment from Cell C to a member that pays her account monthly I have no other option but to end this contract and move to prepaid. I made the phone call to cancel this contract on the 9 February 2023 and hope my request will be honoured and that this issue with the outstanding money is resolved and I get the formal communication

Cell C Cell phone contract

I entered into a 24-month contract with Cell C on 13 February 2023 with the understanding that I pay R289 per month for 3 G Data, 300 minutes and 500 SMSs. I was misled by the employee of Cell C through false and misleading information. The phone call was recorded. Later the day I received an SMS indicating that the 300 minutes consists of 90 any-net minutes and 210 on-net minutes. I immediately contact Cell C to cancel my contract as the Consumer Protection Act protect me against misleading and false advertising.

Desired outcome: I want to cancel this contract immediately (as per the Consumer Protection Act) or the term regarding the 300 minutes to any mobile network should be rectified as marketed to me.

Cell C Cancel my subscription

Complaintsboard.com marks complaints as resolved, when they arent responded to within 9 days. This leads to erroneous "resolutions". I am reposting because this was certainly NOT RESOLVED.

I left South Africa in October 2018. I phoned cellC and told them to cancel the contract since I was leaving. I never renewed my cellC contract. I had 2 sims, a data sim and a normal phone bill. The data sim was used for a few months 5 years ago. I emailed cellC to cancel the contract a year ago.

They are still billing me. Not only should the contract have expired, but they should have cancelled it 5 years ago when I told them to and they should have cancelled it 1 year ago when I told them to cancel it again.

Desired outcome: Minimum R3600 remuneration.

Cell C Please can someone call me and urgently resolve.

Hi, I am disappointed in the service I receive from Cellc. There is no manager that wants to take your call to resolve. I have been having issues with my debit order., this has been going on since the 27Jan. This has been deducted and I have provided supporting documents from the BANK and still no resolution from Cellc.
Can this be resolved urgently.

Cell C I'm very disappointed in the cell c agent who has been offering me the contact

I'm Lionel fillis I'd [protected] did receive a contract with Cell C in January, the agent who offered me the package was crooked over the phone she said that my number was chosen for a new contract deal, I told her I'm not interested in a contract, with all the false promises she actually wins tell me about a two in one deal where I can take 2phones for as little as R270 pm, we agreed, now my debit needs to go of no one can explain me how much will I be paying please contact me urgently on [protected] I'm thinking of going to the media with this issue. Yesterday some one of Cell c told me I'm going to pay R400+, today some of the agents told me that I'm going to pay R573. 40 what the he'll is going really on in this Call center. U Robbing us as Customers I regret to deal with Cell C in the first place and would never recommend any other customers to deal with Cell c

Cell C Incorrect credit bureau listing

Good day,
I had a contract with Cell C for almost 15 years and then decided to switch to prepaid.
I paid what was due and switched to prepaid round about 2020.
Later I applied for credit and was informed that I was listed at the credit bureau by Cell C.
I contacted customer service enquiring about the occurrence and requested a paid up letter.
This process I tried for +- 2 years. And eventually received a paid up letter. Numerous phone calls, emails later.
I once again tried applying for credit with the same result.
I was told to contact the ITC and submit my paid up letter so they could clear my name. However, ITC informed me that the listing is not with them.
I once again contacted Cell C to get information and has been sent from pillar to post for the last year and a half [protected])... and once again this year 2023.

Today 09.02.2023, I have contacted Cell C once again to try and resolve this issue... Once again, to no surprise and countless phone calls. I was referred to the Fraud department. Upon my questioning why fraud, I was told that they could assist me :- (... me knowing this could not be true. Had due diligence and called this department full of hope. Once again I was referred back to customer service, which then referred me to contract department, who eventually just dropped the call on me. After promising to clear my name... And then asking me to hold for just 2 min. And eventually dropping the call.

For today, I have spoken to 5 consultants trying to resolve this issue. Including the Fraud department.
[protected]@16h50. I am speaking to a consultant promising to write a letter to the same Fraud department, who confirmed to me earlier that they do not deal with credit bureau listings...
This process is frustrating and very inconvenient for me, and I will list Cell C on every complaint's board that I can until my query is sorted...
