On the 2nd of October 2023 I received a phone call from a representative of the Cell C Get More service. We had a discussion on what everything entails and I asked a number of specific questions after being informed that the call was recorded for quality purposes. The representative stated that I would receive the information on how and where to qualify for my cash back rewards via email - I have received no such communications. This ofcourse was a cause of concern and lead me to investigate the Get More service. Upon investigation, I saw a number of negative reviews which revolve around the illicit nature of this service being offered either by, or via channels through Cell C. I further investigated the service and found that you are only able to cancel your subscription service by phoning the Get More customer service number (+[protected]). After my sixth attempt at contacting the service center and receiving absolutely no answer after holding for approximately 5 minutes at a time, it became clear I was not going to be assisted. I phoned again later the evening only to be greeted by a recorded message that nocconsultants are available to take mu call. This is a very bad indicator that we might be dealong with a setvice that very easily contracts you into service, but makes it near impossible to unsubscribe from he service. I am left wondering how Cell C could even partner and allow something like this as a reputable service provider.
Desired outcome: I would like to unsubscribe from this service with immediate effect as soon and effectively as possible.
