Italk
This company are awful. I am a social worker supporting a vulnerable client who they have overcharged for months and left the person without food, gas and electric. I have spent hours on the phone to their customer service and collections team and I just go round in circles. It seems that no-one with any management autonomy works for this company. I have also tried drawing attention to this on Trustpilot and I am met with an almost sociopathic response to phone customer services or email them (which I have already done dozens of times). Customer services are not responding to the emails sent and when I phone I just get passed between collections and customer services in a never ending dystopic look. ITALK if you respond to this please do not tell me to call or email your customer services again as this is getting nowhere. I am now looking to make an external complaint.
Desired outcome: ITALK to respond to my emails and stop harassing a vulnerable customer with repeated emails and then refusing her offer of payment as being too low, shame on you.
Thank you
Fraudulent disgusting company
Having had terrible Broadband previously, I was after a new company and made the grave mistake of choosing italk. I signed up on the 23rd April yet my installation date wasn’t until the 8th-14th may, well outside the 14 day cooling off period. At no point was this made clear either as I would never agree to a service knowing I can’t test its suitability without locking myself into a contract. They class the 14 day period from the date of application, I have never heard of such terrible practise. I now have CISAS assisting me as I’ve been left with a debt. I called and said I was returning it the day it arrived and was even told on the phone I’m within the cooling off period. Endless calls, and texts and email, with no thought for a persons mental health. Italk you are a disgusting company and I will take you to court if need be
Desired outcome: Wipe the fraudulent “debt” I even did a dummy application and screen recorded it, at no point does it say anything about the 14 day period

Internet/broadband
I ended my contract in April last year, which the company said 'I didn't' and continued to charge me despite being out of contract, and moving away from the property. This disgusting company continues to call me 4/5 times a day, plus emails and texts about an 'outstanding debt' of £50, and have even involved Howard Gemini Clarke to chase me for this 'debt'.
Upon searching, I am now taking this company to court for harrassment as I frequently receive calls, texts and emails, despite contacting several times. I have had the phone slammed down on me, told to not worry it would be sorted and also told that there's nothing they can do. I'm not in a good place with this company and I am increasingly frustrated, it's disgusting.
Desired outcome: Non payment of 'outstanding debt' that doesn't exist.

Constant text messages and telephone calls
I have never EVER been with this company. But I get a phone call and text message daily. I block the numbers but they keep ringing me on a different number each time. I’ve asked numerous times to take me off their system but they ignore me and tell me I owe money. I am also not going to share with them my personal details in order to pass security. I’ve filed a complaint to the police for harassment.
Desired outcome: Leave me the hell alone

Broadband
I have contacted italk several times asking rhem to cancel my account due to relationship end which has left me with major financial problems.
I get harrased for payment by phone and email multiple times a day, but they can't reply to my emails where I have explained my situation and asked for compassion.
I cancelled my direct debit because them taking money that wasn't there was causing me to go overdrawn and be charged by my bank. Again I can't afford this in my current circumstances.
My balance is going up and up and up and they're not listening!
Customer services are rubbish and I've been hung up on when I asked for complaints team.
I am at my wits end with everything that has been going on and Italk are making it worse and seriously affecting my mental health!
Desired outcome: Cancel my account and late fees since I reported my problems should be scrapped.

Broadband
I moved into my flat on May 2021 and took out a contract with italk. From moving in I experienced slow speeds, less than 1 mbps. I left it some days as recommended for the connection to settle. I telephoned the customer services following this to raise the issue. Despite several attempts including an engineer visiting I am still experiencing low speeds. I wish for the contract to be cancelled. The speeds are not the guaranteed minimum speed as promised in my contract. I have sent screen shots as proof, I have made multiple calls and sent many emails. I am being threatened with cancellation fees despite the lack of service.
Desired outcome: Cancelled contract and monies returned
It’s really disappointing that if the internet provider cannot provide the speeds that were guaranteed at the outset of the contract that the consumer still has to pay an exit fee? Surely if the provider cannot provide the service to the customer the customer should not be charged? How can you get away with this? Ref IT324513

General harassment
I have never been a customer of italk but they keep phoning or sending me messages both on my landline and mobile telling me I am due this company several hundred pounds and threatening to call in the bailiffs. Fortunately I don't worry about this but at 80 yrs old I have better things to do. I have repeatedly asked them to delete these phone numbers from their system but to no avail
I repeatedly receive phone calls and texts on both my mobile and landline telling me I am due several hundred pounds to italk and if I don't pay up they will send in the bailiffs. As I have never been a customer of I talk I have asked them to delete the information from their records several times.
I have also asked for a letter setting out what is due but so far nothing has arrived. This has been going on for over about two years and at eight years old I have better things to do with my time.

Rip off
They are trying to make me pay for a service I did not receive
The italk guy said he "knows what pub I drink in and he will come sort me out"
I am not scared but I am very insulted by this and the audacity of this idiot thinking he can get away with it. We will see. You don't know anything. But you will learn, you will be instructed how to treat people and how very little you are to be hiding behind that phone. I know people who work beside you and I do know who you are.

Constantly contacting me when bill paid only 5 days ago
Last 5 days iv has consistent calls n messages from Italk. bill was 22may was paid. as my contract is coming to an end this company who delivered none of what was promised and I couldn't get to speak to anyone the many times service was unusable now have staff available to be calling me4-5 times daily. I do not want to be pressured into another contract of lies with them. iv asked for them to stop calling, iv emailed screenshot of payment. theyv now sent me email threatening to cut my service if I don't pay overdue £10. They take between £30.50-£48 monthly. and DD was for around £38 few days ago. How do I deal with harassment and threats from them?

Broadband/wifi via landline
Italk must be the worse broadband providers ever here in the UK because how they can get away with their bullying tactics and intimidation is beyond beggars belief if you ask me. I joined italk when not even looking to change my broadband provider from talk talk as I had been fairly happy with the services they provided, and to this day I have no idea how they managed to get my phone number when they rang. They told me they were fresh on the scene and my internet speeds could not be matched if I signed up to their new fibre unlimited 12 month deal which were their best deal at that time. They convinced me to cancel with talk talk as their new fibre unlimited could give me up to 30mbps upload speeds with a guaranteed minimum of 16mbps, and also a 2-5mbps upload speeds which were better than talk talk speeds, or so they said, but as we found out pretty quick with italk telecommunications ltd their customer service team told lies, not just one or two but lots of lies and I have everything copied from ever email correspondence between us, every threatening letter sent out to me, and I also have the speed test results from using two of the very best and widely known apps used to test my internet speeds which will back up my claim 100%. During the time I were supposed to be getting these amazing speeds via ADSL (home landline), I also started to do some research and finding out more and more regarding ADSL and internet speeds via our telephone lines and all this new thing about fibre unlimited which I found out were just one big con to pull customers from their existing broadband providers whether still in contract or not, with a promise of unreachable internet speeds using their fake fibre tactics because a lot of people like myself fell for their lies as using the word fibre makes it sound like Virgins very own Fibre Optic underground cable that can reach the very fast speeds, and using the fibre word really has no effect when through ADSL Landline whatsoever. In fact the only connection fibre has when mentioned by these big shot network providers, is only to do with the little square plastic adapters which are sent as part of your router, and which plug into the socket of your phone line and then connect your router using the long cable also sent with your router straight into this thing which is in their words **FIBRE** ((only to sound like virgin without the Optic))!
Anyway back to my point of this email, I want to warn others of their lies and very mean ways of treating people with their intimidation and scare tactics as I know they work and I ended up having a mental breakdown due to way they conned me, got me into debt with the then ‘current network provider', made false promises they never honoured, cheated and lied to my using threats and bully tactics in their emails and letters to me which I have as proof, ongoing abuse of their very own policy, as well as Miss selling me a product through promises which were more evil lies which a lot of people fell for so I want to warn others of a few untruths etc I already have proof of.
I have saved and are in safe keeping over 100 corresponding emails between myself and a number of people who work (or did work) at italk telecommunications LTD who either I were in dialog with at that time, or just the random inbetweeners who used to annoy the hell out of me and would carry on harassing me when my account supposed to be on hold but were also just more lies, monthly bills, general emails just to cause me more grief with an aim (or so it seems), to break me mentally through worry and court, bailiffs calls, etc etc. I managed to keep over 20 letters sent to my home address, some threatening some not but still amiss, and over two dozen speed test results during the time of my complaint and before shutting my phone line and internet down/off and still billing me.
Towards near the end of this contract with italk which I cancelled many times as you can see reading my saved emails sent to italk, my complaints which again I were lied to, telling me in an email that they are sorry for all of their shenanigans and failures as a company and can, and will compensate me in offer of compensation they wish to discuss with me and want me to call on the number they provided, and after calling and speaking to someone apparently from the management team at italk and they just blagged me and told me they were unaware of any offer, or any emails between italk and myself so another time wasted event stunt by italk so to speak.
Another time of lies were another email send by italk telling me they were sorry for all the troubles I have had and the very bad internet I have been getting, they said they recognise their errors and see our correspondence and the management team have agreed to accept my complaint and to cancel this contract after I chose from one of their two ways they can cancel this contract and land line. None of their options mattered to me anyway as I had been cut off from using their broadband and phone landline for months now, although they did say the contract will be automatically cancelled if and when I get a new different network provider to take over the line. But even though I have evidence of this and all the above, the monthly bills were still coming through every month as well as the bullying reminder emails in between, higher and higher and extra hidden charges which in their policy terms and conditions state no hidden charges, yet I have proof of many, and more.
First time of ever hearing italk were in the earlier to mid months of 2017 when they unwittingly acquiring my mobile phone number and called me to ask I wanted their great new faster fibre broadband with unbeatable speeds, and to join all I had to do were to to say yes and they will then do the work and change my the talktalk broadband providers to them to take over, and with promises of many untruths and out of reach internet speeds, amongst more lies added to the existing long list already.
Near on 3 years later, but still armed with all my evidence and the promise to cancel the contact in question with italk in 2018 free of charge once I sign up to another broadband provider and they take over the phone line, and or they cut my services which I had not had for months anyway due to termination, saying I will looses anything which connects to their internet such as cameras and alarms etc, and things which a phone line like panic alarms etc etc. I never needed to use a landline anyway so I told them to cut me off as I did not use anything which needed either connection, and I would be looking for a new network broadband provider ASAP anyway. Great job done or so I thought!
January 20/20 I receive a FINAL DEMAND BEFORE PROCEEDINGS and an unpaid bill of £567.15 plus the threat of £60 court fees and £59.54 in what they call interest (but I have no idea on what?)). This letter came via post and it gives me 30 days to make the payment or to contact them to arrange a payment plan, or the option of filling in all my financial details, and personal details including my date of birth, if I have any kids, if so their names and ages, how many people live at my address, how many vehicles are at my address and is my home rented or bought etc In goings and out goings of any income I get and any partner if I have one etc etc just everything about my life they do not need to know about when they agreed already in 2018 to not only cancel the ongoing terrible broadband ADSL line at my home address free of charge, but also the compensation offered to me in email for their very bad services and treatment towards me, my mental breakdown and threats, the internet connection and speeds miss sold to me and other things as mentioned above, but when it came to the crunch of it and I phoned them to discuss the situation and listen to their offer for all the sh-t they put me through in the months leading up to that point in 2018, denial and betrayal towards me and their bull which followed and ended with no offer no nothing other than wanting to press me for even more money and lies.
Anyway I think whoever reading this email will or can already get the gist of things and italk is no broadband provider they are only like a sub worker who rents the British telecom lines with the added introduction of 0.56mbps download speeds to upto 3-5mbps download if lucky, and even at that it wouldn't last to watch a full film without it buffering and swapping to my 3/4G via personal hotspots I had to keep open on my iPhone until purchasing a mifi with 20GB data so I could use the internet properly because of the terrible connection I were suffering with italk.
I am only writing this email now as I am going behind my mental health workers back as I can't let this rest and how angry it has made me with their cheek and their 30 day treat of court unless I contact them before the 30 days is up! Bring it on and I am now gonna actually take them to court for not only the miss selling me their product which were impossible to grant you the bag of lies which roped you into their broadband contract and all it were is a huge scam to trap you, me and anyone else at that time cos they needed customers or they wouldn't have succeeded till today.
I am going via resolve to start off with to see if I can get some answers or talk to a managers manager and their boss of bosses because iv been messed about too much from your none titled online italk team. After that it is the local news papers via my contact, and the financial ombudsman armed to the back teeth with my evidence so if italk think I maybe blagging then let get this show down now and yes go start the proceedings, if you want to talk then I suggest you contact me to discuss your situation and a positive way this can be resolved once and for all as it is now seriously becoming a joke and it is already starting to wear me down, hence Katie my mental health nurse not to message you and just present my case when we get to court!
Yours or mine

italk harassment calls
This company is an absolute sham. My 89 yr old Mother has used them in the past, but when she moved house 2 mths ago the trouble started. She wanted to move her existing phone number - her lifeline to contact friends and family and a phone number that she and my Dad have had for over 45 years. They have done nothing about this and frustrated her so much she has tried to cancel her account with them, several times. They now call ME daily and will not remove my number from their records! This is utterly ridiculous and they won't actually tell me why they keep ringing me on my phone because the account is in her name! It is just all wrong and when I just asked the so called "Manager" his name he said it was Brandon BANANA! So a"Manager" who lies and who also has no direct line number - really. Do not use this bunch of cowboys and protect your older family members as it seems they are definitely being targeted, cold sold to and then harassed.

broadband
I moved into a new property and signed up to italk.
The timescale online said 13th July but email stated 13th July - 12th August i then decided to go with a known provider the same day i had 12! Missed calls with 2 voicemails of office chatter I searched the numbers (as they are all different) Realized they were italk called them back and when they answered they just said Hello no introduction of who talking to or which company.
I sent an email asking whether they were genuine to to how they answered the phone another 12 missed calls and 1 voicemail stating calling about query.
I called them back and yes again all I got was hello.
After further missed calls I applied else where and emailed saying i have gone with another provider (who can install TV and broadband within a week) so to remove my application and contact details.
I have together since that email (3 days) received over 100 missed calls and if you take the ones before as well brings total to 167 missed calls over 5 days BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY

My daughter signed up with them for a phone and broadband package which was £18. The phone line was connected and she had to wait for the router to arrive, they gave her a date to go go live but that never happened as the router failed to arrive, she rang Italk and they said they would send another router out and gave her another date to go live, the router came, she did why she had to do to set it up. It didn't connect to the internet, . She rang Italk they said she had to make a payment before they would allow it to go live. They had already helped themselves to £98 out of her bank account which was 5 times more than her monthly package deal. She told them she wasn't going to pay them anymore money and they refused to connect her service. They tried on many occasions to take money from her account, all different amounts, non of which was that which she agreed. As far as I'm concerned that is a Breach of the Direct Debit Promise. A direct debit is a fixed amount on a specific date . They treated her account as a continual payment. She is a vulnerable adult with mental health issues and receives income based ESA. She was having to go the bank at midnight to draw her money out before they took it. She eventually went to the bank to stop the direct debit. She then stared to receive letters from debt collection agencies and messages from Italk payment department. She has received the messages throughout the day and night, at unsociable hours 3am and 5am, shes had hundreds from them. They now say she owes over £300. She only made 3 phonecalls, one was free the other 2 were to Italk trying to set up the router, a cost of £6.30, she had no broadband. They have also charged her for a Breach of Contract which is completely laughable as Italk are in Breach of Contract for failing to provide the service she signed up for. They took £98 out of her bank account for nothing which I believe is fraud or theft, and for the past 18 months they have been demanding money with Menace. I cannot find any contact details apart from the phone no for their helpline, which isn't any good as the use continual lies throughout and just repeat themselves like a flaming parrot. Very bad company, I have read that they have gone into liquidation 4 times, which I don't know how true that is, but I'm not surprised. I think the only option is to start Court Proceedings against them

customer service and internet service
I have always had complications with Italk from the start.
My live date didn't go live until a few days to a week after, and after various complaints I got a discount of my first bill .
My internet service is insanely slow and I have a bills taken out of different dates each month which I don't appreciate.
And I also spoke to customer service a few days ago and I had asked them to take out my months bill on the 28th because I didn't have enough funds in my account until the 28th and we agreed to that, as they never do what they say i got the money taken out before.
I'm glad to say that after another complication with them I have to decide to leave Italk affiliate telecommunications because they have no care or sympathy for there customers with a very bad customer service and also internet service.

broadband
Had terrible experience with this company having called them a month in advance to set up service for Aug 28th. I did not have service until mid September and then it was very intermittent and we could not get it all on the kitchen or upstairs. Only a weak service on the living room, which found had broken centrr heating system and could not be fixed without the landlord having to dig up all the downstairs tile floors. We were released from our contract early due to these circumstances and because the ITalk service was so bad we cancelled our contract with them especially as we were advised they did not offer service to our new postcode. We paid the half month due and returned all the router equipment in its original box. Since then we have received endless daily texts demanding we reset up our direct debit as it has been cancelled but you cannot reply to these texts. I also get phone calls all the time and they didn't even realise we had left our previous address .
The left foot doesn't know what the right foots doing and it is absolutely the most appalling service I have ever received.

lack of internet and concerning customer service
Dear Info,
I am writing to you to make a formal complaint about iTalk the incompetency of your staff and iTalk services, lots of disruption to my internet( leading to me losing money as I have a online business ), i signed up in August and every month is the same. Lately I have had no internet for a week and I talk given me false information, you cant get though to your phones, constantly waiting on hold and told to call back when the services are up and running to be compensated.
Someone called me talking about internet breach on my account I was at work and they stated they need me to be home. I informed them what time I will be home they said they wont be there at that time. Can they call the next day to which I replied can they call at 9am the next day. No one called I called back at 9.30 explained the above they stated some one will call me back at 11. i explained that I will not be ion at 11 and I am very concerned they iTalk has contacted me asking what devices in my house and saying security breach which I think is important but they didn't call back at 9am they said a manager will call me back by 10 no one called I called them on the Monday . I complained about all the above someone called me to offer me £10 compensation which is a joke . The so called manager Jordan was telling me that we need to do the virus thing on the devises in my home. I informed him it isn't possible he stated it is important that we do it asap. I told him the above that a time was set to do this and no one called back and I called again and was told someone will call back. My internet still wasn't working so I asked him how is he going to do this with no internet. after all the checking line etc the fault was in the router so I now has to wait for one to be delivered by post. I informed them that I no longer want to be a customer for iTalk as they are part of told them i am cancelling my direct debit and no longer want there disruptive service he stated that I have a 24 month contact I haven't signed any contract.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Italk is a joke and an harassment stalker who I am taking to court over my outrages billing charges and very crap internet speeds and signal which they promised with their fibre broadband! A miss sold product and who offered me compensation and cancellation without charge but did not follow through with this promise and have carried on charging me since early in 2017! Now threatening me with court unless make payment of almost £600 within 30 days, a joke! I have over 100 emails from them including the offer of free cancellation and compensation which they never honoured so yes I will love to go to court armed with all my emails and my unsatisfactory complaints, my old speed tests and evidence of a mental breakdown they caused me to have with the amount of very threatening and intimidating letters. They owe me big time and they will 100% loose at court. My solicitor is representing me so all good and I’ll post the win after court.

unauthorized credit card charges
This complaint started in December 2017/January 2018 when i cancelled my direct debit with my bank and also sent numerous emails to ITalk to ask someone to contact me either by phone or email. Every request was ignored. Even though my direct debit was cancelled you still tried to take money from my account and one month I realised that £488 had been taken, that is half my salary, My bank raised an issue as this transaction should never have been made. I contacted CISAS and after months of negotiations received a cheque for £370 from ITalk last May 2018. I thought this had all been resolved. For the past two weeks - eight months later! I have been inundated with emails, texts and phone calls saying I owe you £438. Why wasn't this raised eight months ago? I want to make a complaint about the way this has been handled. You can certainly contact me when you think I owe you money but when I was trying to contact you I got absoutely no response whatsoever. I can provide my original complaint to CISAS and a trail of emails dating back a year ago. I am contacting CISAS once again in the hope that this can be resolved without any bombardment of emails, phone calls and texts.
