I, Tanya Elizabeth Viljoen, ID no. [protected], address, 15 De Witt Street, Kleinbaai, Gansbaai, 7220 hereby confirms that on Saturday, 9 September 2023 my Samsung Galaxy A53 5G cell phone was lost.
The above-mentioned phone was accidently left on the car bonnet and whilst driving off the cell phone fell from the car. When the tracking was checked, before the battery went flat, it was found to be picked up by and unknown person and taken to area called Zwelihle. Address unknown.
Upon discovering that the phone was missing, a search was done to try and locate the phone and its last known whereabouts show to be in a Township and the cell phones battery was flat.
The cell phone sim card and device was then black listed with Cell C by myself on the 11 September 2023.
When I phoned Cell C to blacklist the device and to temporary suspend the simm, I was told that there was indeed insurance on the contract, as I wasn't sure. I then proceeded to obtain all the relevant documentation as well as having to go to the police station twice. I also contacted Cell C various times regarding this query and not once did anyone of the call center operators inform me that there is NO INSURANCE!
I am very dissatisfied with this service and angry! I have been a long and loyal customer of Cell C for many years without ever complaining!
