rude and threatening behaviour
This was the worst customer service I have ever ever seen...I went there because of the reviews... I went in and he asked me to sit, but not facing the mirror...so I asked if he could turn my chair around so that i can face the mirror. That's how most of of the barbers do it anyway. He said that the wires or cords of his razors aren't long enough so he couldn't turn the chair as yet, but said he would do it later on. I agreed. As he did the cutting, he didn't' even have the courtesy of asking me how i want the hair cut to be done - whether short, medium etc...and when I asked for a medium hair cut on the front and short at the back, he said he knew what he was doing, and that he had been there for many years with lots of experience...that was the first mention of his ego, but i gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking he is proud of his work. As he was about to finish, i asked him to look at the side burns, one of which was longer than the other, and asked him to cut them equal. That's when he became even more uncivilized, saying, "sir, i know what i am doing. Have been here many years...don't tell me what to do...you have been a nuisance - you tried to move your chair around, and then this and that ...i am tired of this f*****g thing..." He went on major self-praising talk, with rudeness and total disrespect. Then he brushed the apron aside with force, put down his scissors in anger...i was totally surprised, shocked, and imagined if this were even true...i was speechless...I told him calmly, "i am not here to advise, but this is how i want it as a customer"...He had none of it, and became intolerable.. One of his friends who was there for a haircut, was shocked too, with no words coming out of his mouth either... No one gives this kind of treatment to any customer. At the least you could decline to do something, but one can't be rude. He even said, "i can kick you out if i want"...that was the epitomy of his rudeness. I don't know how some of you have had a good experience, it's possible, but I am just warning you before you step in there, "enter at your own peril". He scolded me for requesting a hair cut i needed...how bad can one get? I came out shocked, angry but didn't say a word, as there was no way he would have listened, let alone pay any attention to my requests...All other barber places I have gone to, have asked me what type of hair cut i want, which number for razor etc, and even accomodated all requests to modify if anything. This man would not even listen. I can't believe I went there, and I am not sure if anyone will see this, but I hope someone does - for the good of future customers. Feel free to respond, will tell you more about this idiot's ego and aggressive nature. He did more damage than good, to the hair cut and his own reputation...He has one customer less, and many more if some read this review. More to come...
