I was charged a fee for a return item due to my account associated with my Circle K. The reason for the return item was that my bank account was frozen. My computer was hacked and subsequently, was scammed, therefore needed to open a new bank account. I thought that my Circle K card was associated with my debit card (which was not compromised) and did not think I had to change the information. I explained all of this to the customer representative, however they would not budge! I understand about the charges, however, any company can make exceptions, lower the cost of the fee, etc.
I am completely amazed this business has a A+ rating with the BBB, based on the customer complaints. Shame on CheckRedi! Obviously the only concern of theirs is profit, and certainly not customer service! Perhaps the principal of the company, William Rock, should take a lesson in customer service; after all he is making close to $5 million a year in revenue and approximately only 20 employees!
Claimed loss: $75.00
Desired outcome: I would like the fees, or at least one of fees, refunded.
