Crazy 8 is one of my favorite stores to shop for my son as well as my nieces and nephews, and the website makes it even easier to get shopping done. My transaction was completed easily and everything I purchased was shipped and received on time.
Good pants
Good quality khaki pant--not thin material but mid-weight cloth. Fine for winter. Got a size 14 for my average-sized 12 year old and they fit fine. They're not baggy or skinny fit, but what I'd call "regular" fit. They do have an adjustable waistband.

Love the styles. Great sales and usually free shipping. I buy most of my kids' clothes here during clearance sales. My boys tend to destroy the jeans, but at around $6/pair that isn't too big of a deal and I think they are just rough on clothes. The girls do not have that problem.

I have only visited your store once bc we don't have one here in the south but i order from them all the time! My son is tall and skinny its very hard to find jeans for him but not anymore i never have to worry about the size fitting around the waist they are always perfect! OPEN MORE STORES!

If you have kids to buy clothes for, this is a great site. They are a division of Gymboree. The prices are very reasonable, as is the shipping. I find the the quality to be very good, although some of the pants seem to run a little big for my son. But I'd rather them be too big than too small. The fleece sweatshirts are super soft, and they often have great sales.

It's not the easiest to go shopping with my seven year old nor do I have the time. To pick stuff out online is so easy and they have sales all the time witch really fits my bugget. Great website for a busy mom
I shopped a few times on this website and always happy. Clothing is a great deal and sizes are not understated. All online shopper moms would agree that companies tend to make child sizes too small in hopes a kid will outgrow it faster. Children's Place clothing is a right size. It does wear off rather fast, but what do you expect at this price.

I LOVE The Children's Place! My daughter is 8 years old, and somehow I had never shopped there before. I bought her a dress from there for back to school, that I found on amazon, and it is so cute and the fit is perfect. After that, I ordered a ton more stuff on their own website. Everything is so cute and it's so easy to make nice outfits out of the various clothing items. Quality is always great and they fit perfect. And you can get really nice items for under $15, tons of sales. Will continue shopping there until my daughter grows out of their clothing. I only wish I'd started shopping there sooner.

Poor return policies and completely unresponsive low-quality customer service
I recently placed two separate online orders for several items of clothing for a boy and a girl that I babysit. I was unsure of their size but the girls clothes in size 5 were too small. The boy's items fit fine and I will keep those.
I wrote to their customer service and asked if they would refund my purchase price on some of the girl's items that the price tag was removed from. I knew I had to pay postage to return the items but after reading the fine print in their return policies, I saw that if the price tags are not still attached to the garment, they will not issue a refund.

I wrote an email to their Customer Service Department on March 31 00 Case Number is ***. I should have heard back from them by email by yesterday, April 5,2016. I did not hear back from them so I wrote another email ( Case Number is ***) to them telling them that I was going to write a negative review of their company on SiteJabber.com since their customer service was so poor, almost nonexistent.
I would say if you want to buy children's clothes online you better be very careful that you know the correct size. Macy's has a good free returns police and so does Nordstrums. Walmart is good too.
The Childrens Place has retail stores all over the country and there are three in the far subburbs of my town but I am unable to travel to the store to make returns of items, and there are some items that can only be returned by mail by me.
I read an article recently that The Childrens Place is one of those companies that is about to go out of business because its sales are way down. They seem last-ditch desperate to move the goods out of their warehouse and will write anything in their email advertisements to get rid of their merchandise before they close their business for good.
Do not even sign up for their email advertisements because they send you about three a day with exagerated sales and discount claims that are meaningless considering their lousy return policies and customer service.
I did not lose a lot of money and I will just donate the five or so items of size 5 girls clothing to a thrift store. At this point, it would not be worth the effort of going to a printer and printing out or photocopying all the paper work on the transactions, then packing the items nicely, and then going to the post office and standing in line to mail the package and paying probably more than half the cost of the clothing for the postage.
I have learned my lesson the hard way about this terrible company --

Attempted to call customer services for Children Place 2X, automated services they had high call volume to call back another time. on 11/9 got a hold of Jade # PR3952425 who reported that it was received and that she could not help to contact Lasetrack. Could not get a hold of lasertrack via phone, and emails says to contact seller.
Claimed loss: $114 worth of clothes
Desired outcome: I would like clothes to be received, as my children really needs the items
Purchase, experience at store
Purchased granddaughter 2 pack of tights. Wore1 pair 1 time. Whole knee ripped open. She was only doing ballet. Took back to store and was told cannot help you. She wore one pair. Yes she did but the whole knee shouldn't have ripped open. Rude manager then said you need anything else. I said waiting to pickup my other order girl was getting. Manager just walked off. Tights should not have ripped whole knee out. Will never shop Childrens Place again.

Spoke with customer service regarding an order that was made and cancelled within 5 minutes after realizing it would be sent to wrong address.
I used $50 in children’s place bucks and children’s place card — they took my bucks— ok— then they have not removed the charge of my card. The man i spoke with LIED to me was RUDE to me. He told me i had to call Children’s Place card and have them remove which I knew was a lie ( and it was). This has not been corrected. You can’t get through to customer service easily AT ALL! They are rude and he was a liar.

Employee at children’s place while purchasing clothes
We have shopped at the york pa childrens place for years now. Today we go in to pick up some orders and ask to use the bathroom and the store employee says they do not let customers use the bathroom. I stated that they have allowed my daughter to use it before and she from far away and loudly in front of other employees and other customers said “the last time I let your daughter use the bathroom she made a mess we had to clean up.” I found this very unprofessional. I was embarrassed by this and so was my daughter. I will not be shopping here anymore. I love their clothes but cannot stand the unprofessionalism of this employee at this location. She could have come to me quieter not loudly and talked to me kinder. I don’t know what is up with this employee but she should not be working in retail with this kind of attitude.

- I received my bill in the mail and noticed I was hit with a late fee... Interesting enough the fee was the same amount as my balance at the time. My payment posted the next day from the due date I had also made a return within that cycle. No biggie, I thought I have a zero-balance let me see if they would extend a courtesy and refund the fee back. I called TCP verified everything under the moon including my ssn, the rep kept placing me on hold several times not informing me (I would just hear the hold music go on and off then silence in the background then the music would kick back in). When they finally came back on the line they said the fee was refunded. I explained to them the credit they are seeing is due to a return, unless they are randomly refunding fees for Christmas. The rep argued with me then said okay I will reverse but hung up before I knew it was done. I called back that person too took all my information and once again the phone was hung up. Called a third time a guy answered I asked what country he was in he said Jamaica I explained to him the fee I was seeking to have removed he had me repeat it several times which showed me he was not listening then told me I couldn't have it removed because they have a 1x remove per 18months I asked him when was the last time I had one removed he said 2017. I was speechless but then had a choice word of my own in that moment he immediately wanted to end the call and not help me. I called back sought out a supervisor and then after 45+mins was able to get a hold of one and get things resolved.
Desired outcome: Better customer friendly, just to have made the call 1x and to have the fee reversed!

I purchased over $190 of clothes and waited for my items. They said they were delivered, to an address miles a way to to a person not me. When I called to say that UPS delivered them to the wrong address they said I needed to solve this problem myself and would not refund me bc they delivered it. Isn't that fraud, they took my money and never gave me my items. Some person miles away signed for my items bc UPS or some packing person messed up, and I'm out $190. It shows that UPs delivered it to the wrong address and that a person, not me signed for it, but u can't get my money back. What type of business is that, it's a scam. They got my money and I got nothing. Then they say place another order and they will refund my items. I did that and they did not refund anything, so now I'm still out the item and my money. They ar3 scammers a s liars, and have the worst customer service ever. No help nothing, I'm done with them and I will give 0 stars to every item they have online and make sure no one buys from them until i receive my $190.

My online order was shipped to Leeds Outlet in Alabama which required an ID to receive the items. An associate gave my items to an unknown man named Gary smith without checking for ID. When I called to speak to manager Stacy Watts, she was very rude and dismissive about my items that were needed for my children to return to school this week, told me that they were only human and made mistakes. She told me all she could do was a refund or "try" to order the items again. She placed another order for the lost items. Called back on Monday to see if the items had been returned by the unknown male and she informed me that she didn't know if they had been returned and that she re-ordered the items for me. I wanted to see if they were returned so I would not have to wait on the new order. I have been a customer for more than 12 years and have never been treated so rudely in all these years. Ms. Stacy Watts has no customer service training and needs to be re-trained on your company's policies and she definitely needs to understand that without customers she would not have her job! I want her to be reprimanded for being rude and nasty to me and my family!

Wrong items delivered twice
Twice now I have ordered GIRLS UNIFORM SHIRTS. My confirmation emails state I ordered GIRLS ruffle shirts. When I received the first order I got BOYS shirts. I called customer service and was treated terribly.. Told I ordered the wrong items. Told it was my fault so they wouldn’t send what I ordered. I had to speak to THREE different people for SOMEONE to look at my order confirmation to see that I did not order the wrong shirts.
Then I was told there was nothing the alleged supervisor could do. I need these shirts take my daughters first day of kindergarten.

Delivery/carrier tracking
I ordered a large order from here as I have done in the past but this time they delivered it to the wrong address. I called soon as I seen the wrong delivery address, they were closed. So I emailed. That was on the 23rd well it’s now the 25 th and they delivered the items to a completely different state than where I am located. They are delivering the items to the correct store but the ones being shipped to me was delivered to the wrong address. I have been on and off the phone with the childrens place, the carriers (which one shipment had wrong carrier info) and my bank. I was told that soon as my order showed delivered to the wrong address I would be issued a refund or store credit BUT when I called it he mgr on duty (did not give me her name) said I’m sorry I know we did not respond to you email on the 22nd/23rd and that your items were delivered to the wrong address but we CAN NOT issue a refund/store credit unless you return the product to us. I said ok even tho you acknowledge that you shipped it to the wrong address because of a glitch you expect me to not get the product nor a refund because I can’t give you the product I don’t have back? She said yes ma’am my advice is file a claim with your bank
The glitch put my old billing address as delivery address and they admitted it and admit that they do have my correct address on file I called the corporate number, was told the same thing. So please tell me how to resolve this other than “have the carrier go pick the package up and return it or we will give permission now to change the address”

Poor customer service/racial profiling
There was someone presumed to be shoplifting in the Ellenton Mall (per se) a customer, I was in line exchanging a few items. At that time I was the only African American in the store. I asked the sales associate if she wanted me to see which way the supposedly shoplifter fled she responded yes please, I left my items behind their counter to Pursue the person in question, I asked everyone had they seen a black lady with a mesh bag, as the customer claiming this had described, NOT ONE person sitting outside, nor in the nearby stores seen a black person w/a mesh bag in passing, I go back to proceed with my exchange, & I was told by the clerk that the customer said I was with the shoplifter, she was very rude & sure that I was w/the suspect, I had her go watch her video, of which the manager now come out, apologizing for the behavior of what conspired. I was profiled & felt the apology wasn’t sincere. I was humiliated & I canceled my childrens place credit card. I’m highly disappointed in the way I was treated, in a store that I’ve faithfully spent my hard earned money in. It’s more to the story I’m limited in typing space. I’m reaching out to you because another African American woman stated this has happened to her in that exact location. I filing a complaint, I’m wondering how many African Americans has this happened too. This is truly poor service to hardworking citizens such as myself.
Girls vs boys uniforms
I was in your Macon, GA location earlier today to purchase my granddaughter a red uniform shirt. I saw they were on sale so I purchased 7 total. As I began to leave the store, I saw the boy’s display of uniformed shirts but they were priced one dollar less than the sale price of the girls shirts with different colors. I inquired about the price difference and no one could explain.
