Chrysler complaint
Several weeks ago I took my 2018 Pacifica into Kimberly car city in davenport IA for an appointment to do some recall work. They told me they might take two days, so I rescheduled three weeks later to allow for a two day job. I am going to pick up my car this afternoon, day 2. Two of the four recalls were done. They say they don't have the parts for the other two. (scheduling a repair without the parts doesn't sound very smart to me.) They didn't even look at the warranty item I asked them to fix. All in all the service at this dealership is very poor. I am trying to find out my alternatives, but maybe I just have to live with the defects. Hope it doesn't cost me in the long run.

Extremely upset that after spending thousands of dollars on a new transmission as well as other repairs I am unable to get an ECM since you have discontinued the part. Without this part we will need to junk our beautifully kept cruiser that we love even with all the repair costs associated with this car. Our mechanic friends call it the PT loser but we were always confident the car would be around for many more years. With 114K miles I should not have to junk it. Is there any suggestion as to how to get an ECM? I called my local dealer and they said there are none available.

It is less than 2 years and 25, 000 miles and I am already having to change my rear brake pads and routers. I was told they would last 40, 000-60, 000 miles but that has never been the case. I am very frustrated and at this point will never buy a Chrysler product again. I have a Lincoln that is the same year and I have only had to change brakes once with approximately same number of miles.

Lifetime warranty conveniently canceled through no fault of my own. No notice. I'm original owner, only 5700 hundred miles.
Vehicle most often in long term storage and dealer signified that would not be a problem. Never found out I was cancelled until going in for recent coolant service.

Documents on file proving I was in service query within allotted time. Never notified in any way by any correspondence regarding 2nd powertrain inspection or timeline required.
2018 pacifica
2018 Pacifica, has stalled at least 9 times. Once brakes and steering locked up and ran through a red light, that after having been in the service department for 9 days. Had the van 3 hours and ran through the red light. The service dept says it doesn't show any codes, but they also said that when the engine loses power it erases any stored information. I was able to get a picture of message it displayed - "lane change sensor unavailable; FCW unavailable". You have to come to a complete stop and put it in park to be able to restart the engine. Chrysler opened "star case" and since issue "could not be duplicated" it was deemed fixed with no further issues and should be returned to the customer. Has been in for service multiple times for engine stalling, has had 2 "fixes" for the issue. June 5 took it in again for the recall and June 11 it stalled again. Been at the dealership since then - waiting for arbitration hearing on Wednesday. This has been a nightmare. Van is not safe for anyone to drive. Made insurance carrier aware of situation in case it ends up causing an accident they will know to investigate. Praying that no one ends up getting hurt or killed due to these issues with then engine stalling and Chrysler not taking it seriously as a safety issue. Maybe class action law suit is needed. Saw that Capstone Law firm had one going at one time. Checking to see if it is still active.
my leased car not being fixed
I'm having an issue with my current auto lease. We are leasing a 2016 Dodge Durango which is under lease and warranty until our lease is up in January 2020. Since February 2019 we have had the car serviced three times for the same issue, a malfunction in the transmission. My car has been sitting in the dealership Island Dodge for three weeks, we had it serviced on 6/28/19, picked it up on 7/22/19 and immediately brought it back to the dealership because it was in a worse driving condition than when I originally brought it in for repair. We have rented 3 cars since June, have not been fully reimbursed and were not offered a loaner vehicle nor reimbursed for lease payments, which we are paid and up to date on. I contacted Dodge customer service and the representative does not call us back nor does he offer a resolution to this issue. We asked for a supervisor multiple times with no avail. We have three children and I require a safe vehicle to drive them to and from activities. I can easily provide you with documentation showing repair dates. struts on 2015 jeep grand cherokee
I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 218, 000 miles and the struts never went out.With that reliable of a car I bought a 2015 Grand Cherokee and with 52, 000 miles the struts went out.I called Jeep at a 1-800 number yesterday.And was helped by a lady by the name of Tabby.She was very helpful, and professional, and advised me to call back today to update my complaint.So I did just that.Today was different! A very crabby Dena answered the call, she was very short and I could tell thru the phone it seemed as tho she had a attitude.She advises me that I could not get any financial assistance or refund.Based on my warranty etc.From my understanding Dena was suppose to forward my complaint to a case manger and go from there.She was just telling me info, I had already knew and had a stink attitude while doing so.Moving forward I would hope to think Jeep the manufacturer would reimburse me for replacing my struts this morning.A regular car at 52, 000 miles the struts won't go out.Let alone on a Jeep.And I just drove the Jeep to and from work nothing fancy, no off road stuff or anything...Hopefully this gets resolved or need less to say I done with Jeep and won't buy another one...I need answers...Very in happy!
battery/oil change and thermostat
Hi, On Saturday August 3, 2019 my car would not start back up. I call for assistant and got a jump. Went by Auto zone and got the battery and Alternator checked. Then on Sunday 4, it would not start again. I called for my car to be toll to Five Star at 7:30. They came on time. I called Five Star about 7:40. Phil told me that they would have to run a diagnostic on it which would take 2 hours. we talk about the battery since I had got a new one in Aug 2016 and it had until the Aug 11 before Warranty run out, I thought, but he said when the car out of warranty, the battery was to. I didn't understand but I accepted it because I needed the car back fast. After that I called back many times, one time I stayed on the line about 40mintures before anyone even answered. Finally, At about 5 O' Clock he call me and said that they had complete the test. I had a dead cell in the battery and need a oil change which would be about $400.00. I told him ok but I was taking off work the morning of to get the car. Then, the next day a little after 10 on Aug 6, he call me and said that he had bad new. The thermostat was sticking and it would be about 1, 400. I say no way. I just went back the to work because I work for the schools. He said he understood but the part cost so much. Then, I called to speak to the manager. He said Phil was right and it take 4 to 5 hour to get to the Thermostat. He did give me a discount down to 1, 134.00 which I did not have, so I got it financed through Sunbit. After I got my car, I called the assistant line. The girl was nice and took my information. I ask could she check and see how much would a Battery, oil change and Thermostat cost at other local dealership. She said to call back after 7:30 a.m. and they could help me more. I waited until after 8, and I got a guy that I felt like was arguing with me instead of listening. That assistant line is no help for a complain. I do not know who is the correct person to talk to, but I am going to write everybody until I get the correct person to voice my complaints to.

When I purchased the 2001 T&C in 2012 my son had new tires put on as a gift. About two years ago I had two with sidewall blown out. Being a weekend I went to a long time local service station. They could not fix the tire as he said 'the material was totally rotten and he could push his finger through it.' I purchased two each time I had blown out tires. The tires I bought from them had 23, 000 miles on.
This happened after the dealer was closed and I needed a vehicle as I was going through cancer and heart problems. There was no choice. I did not get out to the dealer other than leave a phone call. HyWay 14 was under total rebuild out to the dealership and nothing I drive in (I am 80). Beside that I was either traveling to Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Mn. or Mayo ISJ, Mankato, Mn for treatments, tests and follow up.
He called a few weeks ago and said 'stop out and we will get the paper work together.' I went out, waited for near an hour, only to have the shop manager come in and say...now get this..."Those tires warranty was for 45, 000 miles AND that warranty is good for only ONE year only IF you rotate them every 5, 000 miles". I and most all family member from dad on have driven Chrysler products. My first a 1955 four door blue Plymouth. So that 60 years of being dedicated customers. Dealers have been Kelly Motors, Lakefield, Mn, Lewer Chrysler, Waseca, Scholte Motor, Worthington, Mn. I have owned cars, vans and trucks.
ALL I asked for was a copy of the sales slip with all the information. It does not have the tire brand, serial numbers, or anything except four tires were bought and mounted by them. In the near future I having a mechanic check if the near $1000 of repairs a few years ago were actually done. That was recommended by a former employee of dealership. My nephew, medically retired, was a certified Chrysler mechanic in Esterville Iowa and pointed out a double billing.
Right now I want pressure applied to get the full information I need for the tires so if anything I can contact the tire company. Living on SS these bills have created a hardship.

June 27th 2019 my 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 was taken to shop ODaniel in Fort Wayne Indiana due to multiple times of the vehicle not starting. We were then instructed to pick up a rental car at Hertz at the Fort Wayne Airport, during that time, the vehicle was still in the shop and we were told to return the Hertz rental car due to Hertz was charging my personal credit card instead of ODaniel paying for this. We then had to change rental cars to avoid continue being charged that took place on July 11th. Moving forward to today August 1st, we have had no resolution from Chrysler regarding the case number 59164537 that was submitted on July 11th to Chrylser asking for reimbursement. As well as we were asked to return the rental car however they kept the truck to ensure it was corrected. Finding out later it was still not fixed and we were then asked to get another rental card. Their is still no resolution to the vehicle that is still in the shop trying to be fixed. Lease payment, insurance has been continued to be made regarding this, not including the multiple returns we have made with different rental cars. Sadly then we purchased another vehicle in the family of a Chrysler and now regretting doing this, if this is how Chrysler takes care of their customers. I have owned many vehicles from Ford, Kia and GM and never have we had such poor customer service from Chrysler themselves. I would expect some sort of follow up to our vehicle that has been in the shop for over 30 days besides we are still working on it. Chrysler needs to get it together and figure out what is wrong with this vehicle or they need to buy us out of our lease. To have a brand new vehicle that we can not drive and the constant asking from fellow employees, friends and family regarding Chrysler has not only left a bad report with us but from all these people that interact with us.
service dept for my pacifica’s transmission
Day 1 of recall I notified them of a transmission issue. I've been back 4 times. They refuse to fix any issues. Supervisor (Tim) told me if it messed up again to bring it back and they would do what ever it took to fix it. They won't do anything with trans. Very unhappy with their work ethic. My trans is bad and because no code they won't do anything. I'm worried to put my kids in it. I promise you there's an issue. They won't even call to get permission to look at it. Something can be done. Now my warranty is out and it's no longer their issue.
The transmission is hitting hard when it's shifting. It's lost all power a few times. Today it died in the middle of the road and wouldn't restart. I got it restarted after 3 tries. I now can't afford any parts or labor so now I'm suppose to be stuck with this. It's a liability for my family. I shouldn't have issues with this vehicle. Is nearly new. I thought this is what the warranty and service dept was for. Fixing the issues that arise.

Went bad will not start. Part not available for month or more. Traveling cross county cannot afford to stay in motel and wait so now I live in truck. No way to even buy grocery's I'm a senior cit. I will never buy a dodge. Now it's just a hunk of metal and I'm still making payments. I will never buy another dodge product. And I will tell everybody I know not too. My Town And Country broke down on July 19th. We had Roadside Assisstance come, and they had it towed to Clinton Auto Group in Clinton Iowa. In the meantime, we rented a vehicle from Enterprise. Our van sat there for 6 days before they even looked at it. Come to find out, the only thing that was wrong with it was a battery, really after sitting for 6 days? When we picked it up, it cost $644.00 for the battery and the car rental. Really? I was in shock! I can't believe it was that much. Needless to say, I will not be taking my van back there again. I have taken my van there for all of the oil changes,
and a couple of times it needed repairs. I would like an explanation for this charge.
