Chrysler 2018 dodge journey

To who it may concern, my name is Katy, I bought a 2018 Dodge Journey 2/14/19 and have gotten to drive it maybe 3 weeks of that time, it has been in the shop for the majority of the time. It was in the shop 9 days after I bought it and was in the shop for 8 weeks, I had it back for like 2-3 weeks and back in the shop it went for 6 weeks drove it for like 2 weeks and it is current in the shop on 8/2/19 it will be 4 weeks. There have been STAR cases on my car each time its gone in, I have a corporate complaint case that is open and all I can say is that the customer service I have received has been absolutely awful. I am a single mom this is my first big purchase and the whole experience has now tainted my view of purchasing anything made by your company. From the dealership to you has been a nightmarish journey I would not wish on the devil himself. The dealership service dept. has no idea what to do with my car they either misdiagnose the issue or they cannot repeat the issue, either way it doesn't get fixed because they as well as your specialty techs don't know what's wrong with it. They never provide any updates I have to always do the leg work which is ridiculous and then I decided to reach out to you, the source, headquarters and the treatment I have received has been worse, The first person I spoke to was rude and I explained that I wanted to file a complaint and he misdirected me to a dept that couldn't help explained Kim and she said that she would escalate it up to the correct dept. and that's when I got my case# 59105613 and Dana who has left cryptic voicemails and doesn't return calls when promised. She left two voicemails in one day (that I saved) one saying that she would follow up in 7 days 7/23/19 to see how my car was driving then 10 min later leaving me another message saying that she would follow up 7/19/19 to go over monetary compensation. Well this was definitely confusing because she was assuming I had my car back (to date I still do not its been almost 4 weeks now) so when I finally did get a hold of her 7/23/19 (I had to call) she said how was my car driving I was flabbergasted I told her I didn't have my car she then made excuses about the phones being busy and said she would look at the notes, she then started stammering and said she would call the dealership and follow up with me in a few days. Enough is enough I lost it, I asked to speak with her boss and was told that she Jennifer was not available and would follow up with me 7/26/19. I got an email from Dana today 7/25/19 saying shes looking into things would follow up 8/1/19. At this point I am over it! I have been pushed out and pushed out. I have zero patience left! If this is not handled rapidly I am fully prepared to file a complaint with the BBB, I will leave a negative comment and review on any site I can. I have paid monthly for a vehicle I do not get to drive $620 a month I have had to miss work every time I have had to take the heap in and I have had to spend MY TIME following up on everything to be treated this way. I want this car paid off in full and monetary compensation for the months I haven't been able to drive it plus my lost wages and my time that I have spent and wasted speaking to people that could care less about this lemon that I have, I deserve compensation for this horrific experience I have had with your company and the dealership associated with it.

Chrysler service

I had my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica towed here. I called to see if they have a diagnosis and said they hadn't seen it and was promised that it would be diagnosed the next morning. I go in the next day in the afternoon and they still havent seen the vehicle. I asked the service rep for a supervisor where I was walked into a back room where they had a gentleman in there with her while I was asking question. The gentleman got up and became very aggressive. When I asked the supervisor about the car she asked me to leave and to take my car. This dealership has no interest in customer service or providing service to a vehicle that is still under warranty.

Chrysler 2019 jeep cherokee limited

I purchased a new 2019 Jeep Cherokee 2 months ago (May 2019) and have had problems with the Bluetooth part of the radio. After listening to music for a few minutes, the radio starts cackling and the sound gets very distorted. I've had the vehicle back to the dealer twice and since the beginning of July was told the next step would be to replace the radio. Neither the dealer (New Holland Auto Group), nor Chrysler, nor their customer service has made any attempt to fix the car or even contact me to let me know they even remotely car about the issue I'm having.

Chrysler def pump on 2019 3500

I bought a 2019 Ram 3500 Laramie from Allways auto in Pleasanton, TX in March of 2019. At exactly 10, 000 miles a message came on saying that I needed to service my DEF system and to see the dealer. The next day I did so. I was told that the DEF pump had gone out already. The gentle told me on July 10th that the part would be in on the 18th. Here it is the 22nd and still no pump. Every time I call they tell me it will be here in 1 or 2 more days. My truck is leased on with a company so everyday I'm not driving it I don't get paid for it. And the dealership I took it to said they could not give me a loaner because all of their loaners have to many miles. I'm to the point where I am just going to go and get the truck deleted. Granted this will void my warranty's but what good are they if I can't drive the damn thing! I was told to contact Chrysler about this problem but I highly doubt that that will do any good.

Chrysler service techs

On saturday july 20th. I had trouble with the tailgate lock on my town&country minivan so I went to the dealership to see if they could help me. Im retired and on a fixed income and need the van for my disabled wife, they had the van for 2 hours and charged me 161.00 dollars to tell me the latch wasn't working... Daaaaa I already knew that and intead of taking 5 more minutes and fix the latch they just told me I was going to cost 720 dollars for a new latch. It took me 1/2 an hour this morning to lubricate the latch and get it working again, when are you going to start getting mechanics working in your shops instead of theses computer generated geeks?

Dear Sirs,

I am hereby submitting my complaint to notify you how bad is your dealer here in Kuwait treats your Chrysler products very badly especially after sale, which leads to a negative impact to your reputation.

My name is Saqer Al Obaid, I bought a brand new Chrysler Ram in 2016 from your agent dealer in Kuwait ( Al Mullah & Behbehani) and since then I have been suffering with their service center regarding the air conditioning .. unfortunately the A/C is always hot and blows unsufficant cold air .
I have been contacting your dealer here for this matter since then.
Everytime I bring the vehicle to their service center, they keep the vehicle there for more than 4 days and then they give it back to me unfixed and with the same problem, needles to mention that I have to rent a car on my account for the mentioned period, , , this matter was repeated for several times until they said to me that this is a manufacturer error and it cannot be fixed. And now and hereby I am asking you directly, , is it true.
Additionally, and lamely last week I had a Magor failure with starting the vehicle, so I took it to the service center again, and to my surprise, they said that the battery is dead and I have to buy another one from them in replacement to the dead one which I bought from the same centre less than a year ago and supposed to be under warranty.

Please help me with this service center because I like your products and I don't allow anyone to drive me away from you.

Chrysler 2019 dodge ram 1500 new gen body 3rd light leaking

I am on my 2nd Dodge Ram. 2017 & 2019 models. Both of them have a 3rd light leaking problem because of the crappy cheap gasket that is on it. It ruined my ceiling and seats. The dealership put me in another new one. 21 days later the new one leaked messing up my ceiling. This is a Dodge problem, not the dealer. They say that DODGE does not have a solution to this problem. The gasket is a cheap sponge and holds water... what kind of thinking is that? I found other RAM 1500s on the new lot that have leaks and they are not sold yet. The rental RAM 1500 im in now has a back window leak.

Resolution to problem: A better designed gasket of a non-porious or rubber material that is up to the standards of a $50, 000 truck

Date of leak is July 14, 2019 21 days after I purchased 2nd ram truck

This is a serious problem that need to be addressed immediately as I paid over $50, 000 for this truck and having a cheap gasket ruin my interior.

Chrysler 2018 jeep jk wrangler rubicon wrangler

I have a very serious issue that needs to be resolved before someone gets seriously hurt or killed.

Totally, randomly, when I come to a stop, foot on the brake, no accelerating... my Jeep will rev up and continue moving forward. Sometimes it's minor but at least 6 times it has been major and my reactions are the only thing that prevented a major accident or just plain running people over.

I have had the vehicle is the shop twice and a Chrysler rep has reviewed it once. Since their diagnostics cannot find anything and it has not happened to them they say it's not a problem.

It is a problem and a major problem. It needs to be repaired or replaced. This is my 6th and most expensive Jeep...also my most tragic one.

Chrysler 2007 dodge caliber subframe failure

At 120k miles the front and back subframes are corroded (as confirmed by dealer). The front has a failure (mount tore off) where the stabilization bar bushing attaches. The subframes could be covered by Chrysler honoring an "extended warranty" however up to an additional $2000 for part failures for components that fail when disassembling would not be covered. The total cost of repairs could approach 3/4 of the cars value ($3000) which if it was in an accident it would be considered totaled. The total cost to repair this issue does not make economical sense. A vehicle these days should be constructed to last 200k miles without catastrophic failure. On the NHTSA website there are currently 142 similar structural complaints all on vehicles under 150k miles. I looked at the suspension complaints but I found additional complaints under different categories. This is a SAFETY HAZARD for other people with these vehicles on the road. We are fortunate that our 18 year old son was astute enough to stop and not continue driving. However he is now the NOT so proud owner of a scrap heap and without transportation to work. Not an enjoyable start his post graduation summer. We are extremely disappointed in this Dodge product and only the partial ownership of the problem that is not an isolated case. We should not be throwing away a vehicle with 120k miles. We thought he would have reliable transportation for a few more years.

Chrysler unethical behavior on 2007 van lifetime warranty. preferred chrysler grand haven, mi

On Monday, June 10, I took my 2007 Chrysler van in for an oil change. In 2007, my husband and I took a chance on American car companies and purchase the van. It came with a lifetime warranty. At that time we didn't even know if Chrysler would be a viable company come 2008. The van has been serviced at Gage until Preferred took over Gage and then it was always serviced at Preferred. (Except on a vacation, my husband had it serviced at Chrysler dealer in Santa Fe which still sends mail to his cousin's address as he used her local address)

People always asked why I went to the dealer for service. I said I wanted to preserve the life time warranty. I even kept going to Preferred after they charge me two hundred dollars for a gas cap. Preferred doesn't have a good reputation and is expensive but it is the only game in town.

While I was learning I needed an oil pan gasket, I asked it the warranty covered it. Since Gage has been Preferred, I have always had to ask about warranty as Preferred person never checked. In fact when I did ask, every time he would give a deep sigh like I had asked him to clean a dirty barn and not just tap a few keys. He was tapping away and I said it is 2007. A year and a half after the event, he says you don't have a lifetime warranty anymore. I looked at him shock to my very bone marrow and asked what do you mean. He said in 2007 you need to bring it in for 10 year drivetrain inspection. I asked why I hadn't been notified. He said I should have known. He kept telling me it was all my fault. The service manager said this had happened to other customers and he had called Chrysler and they would do nothing. It was all my fault. I was so extremely mad as they had probably cost me thousand of dollars, . I used Presidential language on them. They were insulted that an old lady would call them to task for their omission.

I came home and went through my large pile of invoices. The five year inspection had been done by Gage and I was even aware it had been done until I found a copy in my Chrysler stack of papers. I have two inspection reports done in May and July of 2017. I didn't need to back for an oil change until May 2018 as I have a summer car and was ill that winter. When I took it back, the van had 3, 700 miles on it. (this number comes from their invoices)

Since, according to service manager other customers have the same problem, I wonder if they wanted the warranties to expire. There was no notification in the shop. They have my landline number with answering machine, my cell phone number with voicemail and test, and my email address. My home address has not changed in almost 40 years. The Preferred dealership has my name on an email list as every time I have the van serviced I receive two emails asking about the quality of service. On top of email is written, "This message is from a mailing list."

The door I drive my car through at Preferred has the word SERVICE over the top of it. According to Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary, service definition means 3. work performed that service (gives good) b. Help (be to-to them) I thought paying the premium prices to go to Preferred as a Chrysler dealer they would be of service and help me keep my warranty. Gage cared. Preferred doesn't not. They said again and again, it was all my fault. They were so all knowing and so nasty in blaming me with no acknowledgement that they had taken care of my van for years. Their attitude toward an old lady is the reason I used presidential language as that is not something I do. My husband took care of our cars, his dying words to me were not have the drivetrain checked in November at a Chrysler dealership every five years. I expected Chrysler dealership would keep me in the know about anything that needed done to maintain the warranty.

For a year and a half, I have received warranty work. Suddenly after a year and a half from the 10 year month, I told very flippenly I no longer have the warranty that came with the car even though I have all the receipts from Chrysler dealer's service and in summer there were two inspections done in 10th year. I want my warranty reinstated. I want to know why I was not notified I needed an inspection in a certain month (again Gage took care of the 5 year work and I didn't even know they did it until going through invoices.) Is it Chrysler or Preferred working to void the Lifetime Warranty as the service manager said I was not the only one who "lost or had taken away" their Lifetime Warranty. My van has always been taken to a Chrysler dealer. Why wasn't that taken into consideration when they decided not to notify 2007 owners. As my Grandson said, "It is so easy to notify people now days." I am wondering if I need an attorney. Depending on how long I live, that warranty could be worth thousands of dollars as taking a van to Preferred is very expensive. To say I am upset is to totally under state my feelings.

Chrysler refusal to do recall.

My Name is Wayne Kennedy and I live in Edson Alberta.
On May 31 of 2019, I purchased a new 2019 Dodge Ram Sport from Crosstown Auto Sales in Edmonton Alberta. A week or two later I was notified of a vehicle recall.
I made an appointment with Edson Chrysler. When I arrived, the service person told me Wendy Meister, the dealership manager, wanted to meet with me later in the morning.
During the course of the conversation with this service person, I informed her I had traded my 2017 Rebel, which I had purchased from Edson Chrysler, due to very bad relations with the service department. Ordinarily, I would not bring any vehicle to Edson Chrysler but this was a software safety recall (V71).
Upon returning to the dealership, I was informed Wendy Meister told the service department not to do the safety recall. That was all I was told with no explanation.
Now whether refusing to do a safety recall was due to dealing with a different dealership for a new vehicle, or because Edson Chrysler is not my first choice for automotive work, I believe it is beyond reason to refuse attending to what FCA refers to as an "urgent vehicle recall".
This is why I am filing this complaint. Refusing to do an urgent safety recall for whatever reason.
I will be forwarding a copy of this letter to my insurance company informing them I made an attempt to address this recall issue. In the interim of finding a dealership to do this service, should an incident occur, Edson Chrysler should be the ones held responsible.

Chrysler customer service

I am filing a complaint with Southtown Chrysler in Edmonton Alberta, I had taken my 2014 grand caravan in for an oil change on June 17 at 10 am amd asked them to check for a noise in my steering, I was there for 6 hours, after they told me what the problem was with my steering and given a price of $666.46 along with other costs I told them I could not afford that right now, the man I dealt with was Donovan who said I will get me vehicle back, He informed me the CV axle broke and was not driveable, I found this to be too much of a coincidence, so basically I had no choice but to get it fixed right there and now or have it towed somewhere else which would end up costing me more money which I did not have. After all this I was contacted by a service manager named Danny (forgot his last name) and wanted me to call him but told him in an email that right now this is the only way to contact me because my work does not allow me to have my personal phone at work and I couldn't call him because of my work schedule. I have reviewed their website and found other negative reviews I can't help but feel I was scammed into getting this work done there, I want this looked into but don't be surprised if the service manager defends his workers, I was skeptical in going to a dealership because I find large dealerships treat you like a number not a customer. I look forward to hearing back from someone.

Chrysler unavailable def pump for 2018 dodge ram 2500 diesel truck

The DEF pump failed in our 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel truck VIN 3C6UR5PL5JG295377, with approximately 16, 000 miles. Truck has been in the shop approximately 3 weeks, and dealer will not attempt to give an estimated time frame for part to arrive for repair, will only state it is on backorder. Now, the dealer will not even return our call. Truck is sitting at Ram Country, Ft. Stockton, Texas, as this is where we were when the truck broke down. We spoke with our local dealer in Kerrville, TX also, and they told us the pump will not be available for at least another 2 weeks. This is unacceptable due to the fact that this is a business truck (we are self employed). We have another 2018 Dodge 2500 diesel also, purchased at approximately the same time. Is there a strong possibility that we will be experiencing the same DEF pump failure on that truck also? Did we make a mistake by buying Dodge Ram?

Chrysler 2015 chrysler 200

I bought a used 2015 Chrysler 200 from John Hirsch in Cambridge, MN in April 2017.

In the winter of 2017 I brought it to Tinker/Larson motors in Mora, mn with complaints of a thunking/clunking noise in the rear. They could not replicate the sound and told e to leae it outside overnight at my home and drive it in the cold and tape the noise. Being a recent widow, I was not going to do that. The noise was intermittent. The following spring I had it towed to John Hirsch for loss of power and reported the thunking noise, again it could not be replicated and they said they found nothing wrong with it. I brought it in again February of this year because the thunking is getting worse. It is when the car is shifting up or down, not any specific gear. It feels like I am getting rear ended when it happens and it jerks the car. I want to know what my next course of action should be since no service shop can replicate the noise but I see all over the internet this is a known issue with this car

Chrysler pacifica 2018

electrical and sensor issues. When my 2018 Pacifica is started in the morning I receive a FCW (Front Crash Warning) after driving approximately one half mile and stopping at a stop light near my house. I have the gas saver on and my van will usually shut off. When I stop at the light, the console will flash FCW when no objects are in front or near me as well as two other censors flashing. The van completely shuts down and then flashes "start stop required". I then have to place the vehicle in park, turn it off, restart it, then shift back to drive all while in at an intersection. This has happened at least 12 times and creates a risk of being rear-ended. Since we purchased the van in August 2018, we have had: the Uconnect center replaced on September 7 2018, the radio improperly activated or turned off incorrectly completely draining the battery requiring tow and service on April 12 2019, and the FCW was supposedly repaired on May 21 2019. Although it was "fixed" the FCW alert has occurred 3 times since it was returned less than 3 weeks prior.

Having same issues with 2018 Pacifica, has stalled at least 9 times. Once brakes and steering locked up and ran through a red light. The service dept says it doesn't show any codes, but they also said that when the engine loses power it erases any stored information. I was able to get a picture of message it displayed - "lane change sensor unavailable; FCW unavailable". You have to come to a complete stop and put it in park to be able to restart the engine. Chrysler opened "star case" and since issue "could not be duplicated" it was deemed fixed with no further issues and should be returned to the customer. Has been in for service multiple times for engine stalling, has had 2 "fixes" for the issue. June 5 took it in again for the recall and June 11 it stalled again. Been at the dealership since then - waiting for arbitration hearing on Wednesday. This has been a nightmare. Van is not safe for anyone to drive. Made insurance carrier aware of situation in case it ends up causing an accident they will know to investigate. Praying that no one ends up getting hurt or killed due to these issues with then engine stalling and Chrysler not taking it seriously as a safety issue. Maybe class action law suit is needed. Saw that Capstone Law firm had one going at one time. Checking to see if it is still active.
