1 First is the time. your buses are always late if that happens please lets us know in time and how long would it take
2 please fix your aircone the aircone were not working
3 Do the announcing before or after reaching the destination
4 your tv screens were also not working
5 the bus was clean and your drivers were good

I sent my refund form on the 24th of April, regarding a bus from Cpt to El that was cancelled, it’s the 18th of May and I’ve been receiving nothing but bad customer service.
U inconvenienced me enough by cancelling the bus whilst am going to a funeral, you now want to inconvenience me more with returning my money that’s [censored]! Also that Leesa handling refunds responds to emails at her precious time. I want my money now!

Good day
I was on a Citiliner bus on my way tot Beaufort West from Bellville and I have footage with me were the cockroaches are running on the floor! I brought it to the attention of the Citiliner staff and all he said was he could not spray the doom since there are people on the bus. Yes, this makes sense. But they cannot stop so the people can get out so something can be done? It is not bothering him or anyone else?! This is completely UNACCEPTABLE and DISGUSTING!
My ticket was booked at the Greyhound, they put me on the Citiliner because there was something wrong with the Greyhound.
Not sure what can be done, but surely there is something that can be done here!
I do believe that there is no pest control done of national public regulator in place here?

Hi there i would like to lodge a complaint
My parents took one of your citiliner buses from Cape Town to Kimberley on 3/02/2023. They departed from Bellville station just after 19:30
Them and numerous other passengers reported multiple cockroaches on the bus! They were absolutely disgusted. The cockroaches were running all across the seats and on the floor
We paid a premium price for the tickets. The Greyhound tickets were the most expensive ticket option available!
This is absolutely unacceptable and it needs to be addressed. I will never use your services again, nor will i recommend it to anyone else.

Greyhound route to durban via newcastle 4 january 2023
I was at my stop on time at 06:50 this morning in Midrand. We were picked up by an Eldo coach and dropped off at Park Station in Jhb at 07:20. We were told that our bus will pick us up soon. After disembarking, we waited until 13:30 before another bus picked us up, Eljosa. We were notified that our bus was delayed at 07:51. Due to the fact that there is no Greyhound or Cityliner offices at Park Station, we started approaching the Eldo coach office to assist us with what time our bus would arrive. My stop is in Glencoe and, originally I would have arrived at 14:10. What kind of a ridiculous time shedule are they running on? How can you not know when a bus estimate arrival time will be and check this and see that it is met? Do you not care about the 40 odd people stranded with a planned budget for the trip they planned. Why should we as comuters babysit a company that will the our money for a service, and then not deliver what they promised to us when we book our tickets? I a unfortunate to only rely on this one bus that stops at my destination, mabe with some competition, this company will be more motivated to deliver to their customers.
Another incident was on the 22nd of December 2022, my bus was delayed by 3 hours. Nobody could tell me or let me know that the bus was delayed. When you call the call centere number, nobody answers except the electronic voice prompt, that just loops back to the switchboard. This tells me that you guys do not care. Period.
One of the ladies on the bus who waited with us, told me that the same day, her bus never picked her up, and she lost her money, she wasn't even reimbursed. This is unacceptable, if you promise a service and do not deliver, you owe the customer the money. You have no righttosyeal from people in this manner.
I want feedback on how you are going to reimburse me for my time and suffering and I do not want an SMS or email, but a propper apology with that.

Citiliner busses always late!!!!!!
1. When my granddaughter went to Glenco from Midrand on 16 December 2022, we had to wait for the bus for one hour to arrive in Midrand, and it arriced in Glenco 2 hours late.
2. When my daughter and her 2 daughters came to Midrand from Glenco on 22 Dec 2022, they had to wait for the bus to arrive in Gleco for 3 hours!
3. Me daughter is travelling again today 4 January 2023 from Midrand to Glenco. The Eldo couch bus arriced on time in Midrand to leave or JHB station, but she is currently still waiting for the bus to Glenco in JHB station! amost 5 hours late!
This is the worst service for Greyhound ever! !
Desired outcome: Please provide the proper service to customers and make sure your busses are on time for heavens sake!!!!!!
Bus late, with no information from customer service
We are waiting at Johannesburg Park station for the Citiliner to Phalaborwa via Hazyview. We have been here since 07h30 as the bus was supposed to depart at 08h00. It's already gone after 10h30, no bus, no word from the customer service. They have our numbers on the tickets, but no1 has received a call to explain the delay. This is poor service at its best. I doubt if l will used it again in January when coming back from Phalaborwa to Johannesburg. I am so disappointed
I'm complaining about the condition of the bus and the bus fare
The condition the bus is in its unbelievable, the bus is full of cockroaches every where , what kind of hygiene is this for humans to travel in . How are we supposed to eat and sleep in a bus full of insects . It's seems as if the bus has not been cleaned for years . It's totally disgusting! With a bus fare ridiculously high with such conditions it's seriously absurd .

Delay in departure time
The bus was supposed to depart today at 10:20 Vereeniging. We received sms's at 10:25 alerting us of a delay. But not it's more then 2 hours later still no bus. The customer care numbers are also useless as you wait and when you are number 2 or 3 it starts over and you go back to the so called qué. I don't know what the problem is. Communication. Currently one is sitting not knowing the way forward. Something needs to be done as this is not the correct way to treat ones stakeholders
Desired outcome: Greyhound must have an open channel of communication and stick to time. They have made this thing of delay a norm and it's not right. Furthermore a delay can't be for more then 2 hours so something must be done
Dissatisfied with service and punctuality
Worst service ever. The Citiliner bus was supposed to depart at 8am only for it to arrive at 12pm. The only communication we recieved was at 7h30 saying there will be a delay. A delay is normally 30mins-1hr. This was 4 hours. The staff at parkstation also doesn't know what's happening. You ask them where is the bus, they also don't know. I also had a few bags with me. From my experience with other companies, they are supposed to weigh your bags then charge you. They didn't weigh my bags, the requested R100. I had no problem with this as this is what I was expecting to pay, only for the guy to request cash. I now had to go withdraw money in this busy parkstation then he had the audacity to shout at me and be mad at me when I delayed, mind you, they are 4 hours late already. My guess is that they are putting the money in their own pocket. The 1 star is literally just for the comfort of the bus. I would not recommend this bus line to anyone ever.
Cockroaches
I am currently on a citiliner plus bus on route to Durban from Brakpan. The bus is infested with cockroaches from baby to full blown adult size. This is unacceptable due the amount of money we pay for tickets! Why dont you uself some of the fondse to clean and fumigate the busses used for transporting people?
Please take a looking into this matter asap.
Changing my bus ticket
I booked a bus ticket from Nelspruit to JHB and wanted to change the date, when I called the customer care center I was told to provide my card details to pay a R40 fine. I had no problem with paying the fine, but I didn't feel comfortable giving my card details so I asked to deposit the R40 and I was told that it won't be possible. It's very stupid and an inconvenience.
Another time I was still traveling from nelspruit to JHB, the air conditioner wasn't on. Passengers complained about it and the bus driver kept insisting that he had switched on. It was boiling hot that day, We had to open the windows the whole journey.
Today I was traveling from Nelspruit to JHB, the bus was meant to arrive at 10:30 instead it left at 12:05 and whe the bus driver arrived he didn't even bother to explain what may have caused the delay. This is the second time this has happened, Citiliner buses from Nelspruit to JHB are always late, when they send you an sms telling you about the delay a few minutes before time, they don't bother to explain how long the delay will be. Very poor customer service 😢 because there aren't any chairs at the bus stop I had to stand fir 1 hour 35 minutes while 6 months pregnant 😣. Bus ticket ACVF49

Passenger, Akhona Mngonyama who had a test on Thursday morning unfortunately she didn't make it for the test because of your weak and most unprofessional communication. Please assist me urgently...I arrived in Johannesburg with the CitiLiner bus on Monday ,very late with Vusi as the driver from Durban...Vusi was handing out the suitcases without asking for the stubs he had given to the passengers in the morning...We were at the Durban beachfront at around 5.30a.m to depart at 6.00a.m...The bus arrived at 7.00a.m.
When we got to park station at around 8p.m ,I saw a bag ,the same as my own suitcase so I picked it up as it was already out of the bus on the ground...Yesterday morning ,to my horror it wasn't my suitcase so I called the lady whose name was on the bag and we made arrangements for her to collect her suitcase.
I have been sent from pillar to post and have been speaking to Robin from the call-centre ,who I've got to keep calling ...I've spent over R100 on calls to the call-centre with no-one telling me what is being done to get my suitcase.
PLEASE CONTACT THE DRIVER AND ASK WHERE HE HAS PUT MY SUITCASE AS THE LADY WHO CAME TO COLLECT HER SUITCASE FROM ME SAID SHE WAS THERE WHEN VUSI OPENED MY SUITCASE AND SHE MENTIONED ALL THE ITEMS WHICH WERE IN THERE ,SO I KNOW VUSI WAS THE LAST TO HAVE MY SUITCASE.

My ticket reference number is B5GLDSEF. On the 20th of July 2022, I boarded a bus from East London to Cape Town at 17h50 which was supposed to leave East London railway station at 17h20. Secondary,
I’m not sure if it is now a norm or what but then I wanted to sit on the first row in the bus as I am tall and need leg room. I set on the seat that was comfortable to me and the other driver which I assume that he was going to take over on the way said, I quote, “akuhlalwa kwezizitulo zokuqala, kuhlala thina apha”, which means that I can not sit on the first row. I tried explaining the him why I’m sitting there but then I ended up respecting what he is saying and I moved to the third row because he said I can not even sit on the second row because they are going to put their stuff.
On the way at Queens town, a lot of people joined us on our journey and the bus was almost full and there were not enough seats at other rows besides the two rows. Taking that chance, I asked the driver again if it’s possible to sit on the first row as I was seeing the driver offering other two gentlemen seats on the first row and he replied out loud,I quote again, “ndingugqhirha wandixelela ngamadolo akho?”, which means, Don’t tell me about your legs I’m not your Doctor. That did not sit well to me at all and I could not do anything about that.
On the way about 30% of the people on the bus where shouting that it is hot but then the drivers ignored the peoples request for the drivers to turn down the temperature. I think that was safety risk as it was even hard to breathe. I was thinking the worst because we can’t even open windows on there buses.
This is my second time taking this bus and on the first time, the drivers where excellent, not even a single complaint vs this time around which was worse the any other but I took before.
I believe that I am a customer and that respect must be mutual to everyone but that driver took us like objects and not people. I hope something is done about him as he does not sound like he is going to start respecting people.
Desired outcome: Can you please train your Drivers to also respect people on the bus and be a real captain. I believe safety should be number one priority and they should also have a test on it because I do not want to be on a bus with arrogant drivers.
Trip from phalaborwa to pretoria
Citiliner bus on 1 July 2022 from Phalaborwa to Pretoria which the bus left at 7:10 in morning was supposed have arrive at 16:05 or latest by 16:30 which its the estimated time. The driver taking a route to Johannesburg park station without informing the passengers that they have not fixed their routes to pretoria leading the bus to be off schedule also which made people to be late. We arrived at park station at 17:10 which we waited till late without being attended or taken to pretoria which they ended up attending the passengers at 18:40 which its late and dangerous I arrived at 19:22 at bosman station.
I would like a refund because this is unacceptable. This is not the service I paid for. As a solution the company should stop selling tickets to places they can not reach

bus johannesburg to bulawayo
Why is it that poor/inefficiient citiliner buses are thrown to bulawayo route for exorbitant prices above going market prices ahead of best quality buses in terms of models and comfort going the same route eg delta, bravo and intercape.
If seats are not falling, then it's charging points not functional or poor aircon. Or not make it to your destination without bus braking down eg on the 6th of dec bus broke down for 4 hours in gwanda going to johanesburg.
Are we being killed for being citiliner faithfulls or what? Higher prices above market value for poor services and lesser comfort, why?

The bus refused to compensate me. My wife and son bought tickets on the 10th of December 2019 for them to travel on the 13th December2019 from Polokwane to Harare and they wanted a bus that cross the boarder on the 13th since my son's days in SA were expiring that day. I pay him RM4, waiting for him to give me back the changes and ticket (btw the ticket price is RM3.60 Terminal Seremban to Terminal Port Dickson). When i ask him for changes, im being shout by him "tunggu apa lagi!, pergi lah duduk?" and I ask him again for changes, then he tell me "lain kali siapa suruh bg RM 4 ringgit.". what the hell is that, layan customer mcm tu. I know it was just a small changes but dont be such a rude person to us. i know you guys kerja, but jgn buat duit tepi dengan sumber haram.
What kind of attitude is this? I dont care with small change btw but with his attitude with no manner with his customer made so dissapointed with that.
Not only that, every times I take this cityliner bus, the bus driver driving skill is so dangerous.
FYI, I see too many complaint about the bus fare, not giving back changes for user but also got scold by driver. note: please jangan tahu makan duit haram je.
I hope the management pay attention and take serious action on these non-responsible drivers.
