This is a time of *** and there are no visitations allowed. Many paid call companies are waiving fees during this time but NOT City Tele Coin Co. In fact, my calls are cut short. I paid for 15 minute calls but my calls are cut to six minutes and seven minutes. I requested the instructions provided to inmates to make calls in an attempt to understand whether the problem was that the inmate was not placing the call correctly or whether I was being bumped by City Tele Coin Co. The representative said they did not have the instructions and the instructions were not available on line. Why? Because that's our policy. Why? Because the information is sensitive. How is it sensitive? Because it pertains to the jail. It pertains to a service you provide at the jail. The second supervisor indicate, "I am emailing these tomorrow after I get management approval." The company ONLY agreed to send the instructions after I mentioned I was working with a news reporter regarding the company. Key word "AGREED". The instructions have not been received. RIP OFF does not begin to explain the exploitation that is going on here. My question, does *** Parish profit off this exploitation? I intend to find out. These people are among the lowest of the low.

I did not know I was going to be charged either I would like a full refund I did not know this account was going to charge me $29.99 I do not even have $29.99 on my debit card to pay for this and I do not need nor have any intent on using it . The transaction happened on April 18 between 9:45a.m. and 10:20a.m. please consider the fact I was not aware of any charges & my lack of interest in this item.

I have the app on my phone, and have made numerous deposits.. Curious how this theft is acceptable, your company notified me of his absence AFTER THEY TOOK MY PAYMENT!.. they took my money even though my son was released. I put $20 in his account, they will consider an $8 refund and I bought a calling card for $20 that they said are never refunded. i was forced to accept the terms and conditions of this company to call my son who need my help. i paid $ and have paid $9.63 in fees . i want $ back on Feb 27,2020 I received a message from my son that he needed my help. the message said he was in bossier city jail and needed help. i called the city jail. they in formed me i had to use city tele coin inc. i had to agree to there terms to call my son. you have no chose to use them if you need to talk to inmate who is on active duty to the US MILITARY, he need to be bailed out. i had to call 3 times because the quality so poor . when i call and complained they told me i agreed to there terms.

I tried to log onto my account to message my inmate and i cant because some how my number that is linked to my account isn't on there anymore so now i have no way to speak to my inmate no emails or over the phone time and that is after i got my number changed and they took the money that i had left on that number to on top of them taxing nearly half of whatever money i put on my account i can put $20 on there and i literally only get $10.74 this is the only way i get to talk to my inmate because of the covid-19 because there is no visitation. my account phone number is XXXXXXXXXX

Have spent $100-150 or more in the past two days to contact my fiance. Now my account has no phone number and I can't contact her. I've been robbed. I have all of the receipts for the past couple days worth of money I've spent on my fiance's account. I have USAA the federal bank who will have no problem gladly fighting this with me, I have all of the charges on my bank statement for all of the money I've spent to talk to her and most of it was used, however this morning I woke up and opened my app to video chat my fiance and all of the sudden there's no longer a number associated with my account. So I was not only technically robbed of money, but now I have to wait for their business hours, so at their convenience, to hopefully get this sorted out and if not hopefully get my money back.

Half the messages are not going through to the inmate. City Telecoin says that the messages were sent and they're being held up by the sheriff. The sheriff is saying that the problem is on City Telecoin side. Over past 8 months I have lost almost $60 worth of messages that were never received by the inmate or received by me. Their fees are ridiculous who charges for a statement to be sent? They have an other tax on their fee list that amount is close to three times the amount of any other fee come to find out that other tax isn't a tax at all it goes to the sheriff of the facility and they do not disclose that. Buy a calling card for $25 after fees and other tax it says amount to be put on card $16 and some odd cents once you hit continue to pay for it it comes up amount to be put on card $15 in some odd cents too many discrepancies with this company.

I have been on hold for a total of more than 6 hours but no success at all I have been trying to add money to my account but it states I need to talk to customer service. I have been trying to call customer service since yesterday. Each time I was about the 60th caller and when I reached to the second or third in line i was thrown back to 50-60th again. I still waited each time and then when I was the first caller in line it just hung up!? Now I tried to call exactly when you guys opened at 7 am cst and I have been the first caller in like for half an hour? How am I supposed to speak with customer service if you guys won't even answer your calls ? This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I have even attached a screenshot of my first call for 2 hours I was on hold and then it automatically hung up!

I have been using the City Telecoin app since May and it is a rip off. Not only does it take too much money in fees and costs to add money but the service does not work. I have had to deal with countless dropped video calls that will not connect upon calling back and the video freezing. I was not aware that the calls were not automatically being dropped when the system would freeze. You have to manually end the call. Meanwhile, it is still draining your funds on the account. When I sought assistance with a credit, I was blamed for my WiFi. I have done research with others that use this service in the state of Mississippi and they too have the same complaint. This service is designed to drain family and friends of their money. We are being exploited and abused for wanting to communicate with our loved ones. This is the only means of communication a lot of us has. It's almost as if we are being punished for their crime. I would like my account reviewed as I have spent thousands of dollars on this horrible app! I cannot seem to get a bill adjustment or someone to assist!

company has repeatedly stolen money off my account. I have reported the issues and all emails have gone unanswered and phone calls with no resolution. This problem has been occurring since 01/28. Their outrageously priced product, which you have no choice to use as it has become a monopoly in the jail system, continues to steal money from mine and my partner's account. I have repeatedly been hung up on, told we were liars and completely dismissed with no resolution. I have never dealt with a company with such a low standard for customer service. I was just told that he would have to call, no matter how many times it takes, to get the money back even though the company has knowingly admitted that they have problems with their phone systems and inmates not getting through. I would like this issued resolved. The inmate should not have to call, especially when it is shown that all the funds are coming from my card. I have the exact date and times that the money has been stolen from the account and they have been sent to the company twice now via email and 3 times via telephone calls.

Also, the tablet at the jail is broken, so the service I paid for can't be used. The person I spoke with from your company said they can send the tablet in for repair. Amazon even issues refunds when purchases have been made by error, as was mine because the app and website would not take my payments for phone services and I thought this was the video calling service. The type of services that are media were not explained and the non refundable is the very LAST words on the warning prior to purchase. So, who is pocketing my $30, including all the ridiculous fees being charged for services that cannot be used. I am filing a complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com, as my issues has NOT BEEN professionally addressed by your company which claims to provide excellent customer service. Also, the company said the only way to cancel was to cancel the account, which then would stop all contact with the individual I am contacting. They are taking advantage of families during what is already a stressful situation, and not providing the best services or customer service that they advertise.

This company is a rip off. a 15 min call is suppose to cost .58 cents but instead its $5.25 thats a big difference. its bad enough that us single parents have to bust our *** to make ends meet without these ppl taking even more
