Disappointing Experience at Citymd Utica Ave: Heartless Doctor and Mystery Charge
I recently visited the Citymd location on Utica Ave and I have to say, I was not impressed with Dr. Robles. He seemed to be more concerned with making money than providing good service. I went in for a physical and needed some paperwork signed and stamped, but he refused to do it. He said he couldn't help me because I had a positive TB test, even though my chest x-ray came back negative and was good for 10 years. I ended up paying $225 out of pocket for the visit, and then got hit with a $508 mystery charge. I was so frustrated and disappointed, I will never go back there again!
To make matters worse, the intake person at the front desk was no help either. He actually referred me to the competition across the street! Can you believe that? I was shocked and couldn't believe the lack of compassion and care I received at Citymd. It's really too bad because I had heard good things about them before, but my experience was anything but positive.
Overall, I would not recommend the Utica Ave location of Citymd, especially if you need to see Dr. Robles. He was heartless and seemed to only care about making money. The mystery charge was also a huge red flag for me. I hope they can improve their service and care for their patients in the future.
Terrible Billing Experience at CityMD on 14th St. in NYC - Would Not Recommend
So, like, I had to go to CityMD on 14th St. in NYC for some tests, right? And I asked if my insurance would cover it, and they said yeah, no problem. But then, like, a few months later, I got a bill for over $800! What the heck, man?!
So I called them up and they said it was coded wrong or something and they had to fix it and resubmit it. But, like, it's been almost a year now and I still can't get anyone to help me out. I've been calling and calling and no one in the right department ever picks up the phone.
It's seriously the worst, man. I've never seen an office run so poorly. It's like they don't even care about their patients or something. I wouldn't recommend CityMD to anyone, that's for sure.
Quick and Easy Visit to CityMD for Cold Treatment
Went to CityMD today and it was a pretty good experience. I didn't really know what to expect because I wasn't feeling too well and I've never been there before. But the staff was really nice and helpful. They took my temperature and asked me some questions about my symptoms. Then they gave me a mask to wear and told me to wait in the waiting room.
After a little while, they called me back and I saw the doctor. She was really nice and asked me some more questions about how I was feeling. She checked my ears, nose, and throat and listened to my breathing. Then she told me that I had a cold and gave me some medicine to help me feel better.
The whole process was pretty quick and easy. I didn't have to wait too long and everyone was really nice. They even gave me a little bag with some tissues and cough drops in it. Overall, I would definitely recommend CityMD if you're not feeling well and need to see a doctor. They made me feel a lot better and I'm glad I went there.
BTW, I made a couple of spelling errors in this review, but I hope it's still easy to understand. Thanks, CityMD!
Beware of Hidden Charges at CityMD - A Disappointing Experience
CityMD is not a good place to go! My wife and I went to CityMD thinking it was a good place to get medical help. We paid the money they asked for and they sent us to a doctor they recommended. After two months, we got a bill for $100. I called them to ask why they were billing us when we already paid them. They said that they had the right to charge us another $100 that they didn't tell us about when we were there. This is not fair and it feels like they are trying to cheat us. I think everyone should know about this and be careful when they go to CityMD.
Exceptional Staff at CityMD in New Dorp, Staten Island - A Review
I recently visited the CityMD location in New Dorp, Staten Island, New York and I have to say, the staff there is amazing! They went above and beyond to help me out during my visit. I needed a test done on my leg and the front desk staff called not one, not two, but three different locations to get me an appointment for the test that same day before I left. I was so grateful for their help!
But that's not all. Just the other day, my 92-year-old father-in-law, who is visiting us from out of town, needed a prescription filled. Once again, the staff at CityMD was incredibly helpful. They not only gave him the prescription he needed, but they also found him a primary care doctor and even called to make an appointment for him. It was such a relief to have their assistance during a stressful time.
I truly wish that every staff in a doctor's office would care for people the way CityMD's staff does. They are truly exceptional and I can't thank them enough for all that they do. So, to the staff at CityMD in New Dorp, Staten Island, New York - thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Unprofessional and Frustrating Experience at Citymd in Rego Park
I went to Citymd in Rego Park and had a not so great experience. The lady in charge was not very nice to me and seemed to be laughing at my questions. She talked loudly with her coworkers about my situation and didn't seem to care about my privacy. The nurse was also not very friendly and seemed like she didn't want to be there. I had to wait for over an hour for a simple visit, which was very frustrating. The doctor and the nurse were not very clear with their instructions and kept giving me confusing information. They even shredded my documents when I said I would come back with them. When I called to ask about it, the person on the phone hung up on me. I had to go back the next day because they couldn't do the procedures 3 hours before closing, even though closing time was at 8:30 pm and I was there before that. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience and I wouldn't recommend going there.
Beware of Citymd: Shady Billing Practices and Patient Safety Risks
Citymd is a medical center that has been in the news lately for their shady billing practices. They have been known to quote one price for a service and then send an extra bill a week later. This can be very frustrating for patients who are already dealing with medical issues. It's important to be aware of this before you go to Citymd so that you can avoid any surprises.
Another issue with Citymd is that they seem to be taking advantage of the pandemic situation to scare people into unnecessary tests. They sometimes have hours-long lines and bunch people together to get tested, which can be very dangerous. This is especially true when they mingle sick and healthy people close together for long periods. It's hard to understand why they would do this, but it's important to be aware of the risks before you go to Citymd.
Despite these issues, there is one good thing about Citymd. They do provide a convenient option for medically underserved communities as a cheap healthcare option. If you have a cut and need some quick stitches and a tetanus shot, they can be a good quick option in many cases. However, it's important to remember that they are not always reliable when it comes to billing.
In conclusion, Citymd is a medical center that has some serious issues when it comes to billing and patient safety. While they can be a good option for some people, it's important to be aware of the risks before you go. If you do decide to go to Citymd, make sure you keep an eye on your bills and don't be afraid to speak up if you have any concerns.
Total Disaster: City MD Eastchester's Failure to Provide Results and Customer Service
My son, JXXX XXXXX, went to City MD Eastchester to get checked for COVID, strep throat, or Mononucleosis. I gotta say, the whole thing was a total mess. From a medical standpoint, it was a complete disaster. After the appointment, JXXXX, and then my wife, called the place (in EastChester, NY) for days. They tried to get the results at least a dozen times. But City MD didn't answer at first. Then they couldn't find the results of Jxxx test. They gave my wife and JXXXX the complete runaround. It was so frustrating. We never got a call from City MD with the results. After over twenty telephone requests - and no help from the City MD Eastchester - we gave up. We were sure that City MD had lost the information, and JXXX went to Dr. XXXX for an examination.
Nobody from City MD ever contacted us about JXXX's medical condition. We never heard back from City MD Eastchester.
A few months later, we got an invoice in the mail for $417. I wrote to City MD - online - with the information I just told you. But nobody replied. Can you believe it? Imagine getting a bill for over $415 for a medical visit that was basically a total disaster. We never got any information about our son's medical condition from your company.
This whole thing makes City MD look really bad. I wanna know why you think we owe you money for a medical appointment that was a complete failure.
Terrible Experience at CityMD: Misleading, Deceitful, and Cold Customer Service
CityMD is not a place I would recommend to anyone. My experience with them has been nothing short of terrible. I went there for a simple blood draw, but it turned out to be a nightmare.
As a healthcare professional, I was hesitant to write this review, but I feel it's important to share my experience. The company is misleading and deceitful, and their customer service is cold.
During my first visit as a new customer, the technician who drew my blood [censored]ed my arm several times because they couldn't set the needle properly. They re-adjusted the needle while it was still in my arm, tried yanking the pump several times to draw blood but could not. Next, they reinserted the needle in a different area of the same arm but could not get blood. The needle was inserted so poorly that it fell/tipped out of my arm. They tried the other arm, which eventually worked, but my band-aid was soaked with blood by the time I got home. My arms developed bruising all over.
I gave private survey feedback, and the site manager was nice enough to contact me a few days later and welcome me back for a complimentary free care visit that would be on them, at no charge to me. I went in giving them the benefit of the doubt as I was worried about my injury. The site manager seemed nice, but the doctor brushed off the arm bruising as fine, saying vein ruptures are normal.
However, I received a bill the next month via email, text, and mail. I called the CityMD site and was transferred to their billing department. I explained that the visit was complimentary and there should be no charge, but their response was that this is what they received, and the case was closed. They told me to go back and talk to the site. I called the practice office, and the assistant said they would help fix the issue with the billing department from their side.
However, nothing has been fixed so far. As the patient, I am being given the runaround, calling two different departments from the same company to relay he said/she said. Meanwhile, they won't get on the phone and just talk directly with each other.
It's been a nightmare, and I will post an update if this ever gets fixed. If you don't hear back, you know what happened.
Terrible Customer Service and Hidden Fees: My Experience with CityMD Urgent Care
! I had a terrible experience with them and I would not recommend going there, especially in an emergency situation. I went to CityMD in July 2021 because I had a rash and wanted to see a doctor. I asked the woman at the front desk about the price with my insurance, as I am an international student and my insurance was provided by the school. She told me it would only be $50, so I agreed to the service. However, almost a year later, I received a bill for almost $200 more. When I called the billing department, they said it was not their problem and that my insurance had declined to pay the rest. I called my insurance and found out that I did not have coverage for June and July of that year, but no one had ever told me about it. They suggested I continue my case with CityMD.
When I called CityMD, I had to wait around 30 minutes for every operator. I asked for a manager named Attala, but she was busy and they promised to call me back. When I called them back the next day, they said to give them up to 48 hours. I waited for 96 hours and still didn't get a callback. When I called again, manager Anna told me that it was my responsibility to check my insurance dates and that I had to pay the bill because I had signed something that stated patients are responsible for any extra payment that can appear after an appointment. I asked for a copy of these documents, but she transferred me to another line and I couldn't reach another department because the options kept repeating. When I called the billing department again, the man was rude to me and didn't want to transfer me to a manager. He promised a manager would get back to me, but it never happened.
Overall, I had a terrible experience with CityMD. The customer service was terrible and I would not recommend going there. If you need urgent care, choose another option.

CityMD Billing: A Frustrating and Disappointing Experience
So, I went to Citymd and paid my bill in full, but then they sent me another bill saying I still owed more money. This happened to me twice! It's really frustrating and I wouldn't recommend using them unless you want to deal with this kind of headache. Honestly, it was the worst business experience I've ever had.
Citymd: A Scam Company Sending Fake Bills Even After Payment
So, I went to Citymd for some medical treatment and paid in full for the service. But, to my surprise, they sent me fake bills even after I paid them. It's really frustrating when you pay for something and still get charged for it. I mean, what's the point of paying in full if they're going to keep sending you bills? It's like they're trying to take advantage of people.
I really think that Citymd is a total scam company. They're unethical to the extreme. I mean, how can they do this to people? It's not fair to charge people for something they've already paid for. I think they need to be investigated by the New York Attorney Generals. This kind of behavior is not acceptable.
Overall, I would not recommend Citymd to anyone. They may provide medical treatment, but they're not trustworthy. They're just trying to make money off of people. So, if you're looking for a reliable medical provider, I suggest you look elsewhere. Don't waste your time and money on Citymd.
Disappointing Service at Citymd: Misdiagnosed with Lyme Disease
I went to Citymd and I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with the service. The doc there didn't even recognize that I had Lyme disease and put me on the wrong treatment. Can you believe that? He told me that he wasn't sure if it was a bite or just an ingrown hair and that I shouldn't worry about it. He said to just follow up with my regular doctor. But I wasted so much time before finally getting put on the right antibiotic. I mean, seriously, what kind of personnel do they hire over there? It's like they don't even know what they're doing. I wouldn't recommend Citymd to anyone.

CityMD's COVID Test Billing is Unfair and Unreasonable
I ain't too happy with Citymd. They done sent me a bill for a hunnid bucks for a covid test they did two years ago. I thought that test was all covered, but now they tryna charge me extra. They even charged my insurance company $300 for it! Like, what the heck? How much can they charge for a covid test anyway? And why they waitin' two whole years to send me a bill? That ain't right. I wouldn't recommend Citymd to nobody.
Citymd: Incompetent and Unresponsive - Save Yourself the Trouble
So, I went to Citymd for some tests and boy was it a disaster. They charged me for tests they didn't even do, and now they won't give me my money back. It's like they don't even care about their patients! And don't even get me started on their billing department. They never answer the phone and when they do, they just tell me I have to wait for a "Medical Review" for 15 days. Like, what kind of nonsense is that?
Honestly, there are so many other medical facilities in the area, why bother with Citymd? They're just a bunch of incompetent people who can't even handle a simple urine sample. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Trust me, it'll be cheaper and you won't have to deal with the headache that is Citymd.
Disappointing Experience at CityMD for Covid Testing on New Year's Eve
I went to CityMD on 3rd Ave to get tested for Covid and was turned away even though there were only a few people in line. I work for the City and State and was really disappointed that they wouldn't let me get tested. It was 10:30 in the morning on December 31st, 2021 and they said they weren't taking any more people. I was really surprised because there weren't many people there and it wasn't crowded inside.
I think it's really important for CityMD to provide good service to everyone, especially during the pandemic. As a City and State worker, I feel like I should have been given priority for testing. It's frustrating that they turned me away when I needed to get tested.
Overall, I'm really disappointed with the service I received at CityMD. I hope they can improve their services in the future so that everyone can get the care they need.
Disappointing Experience at Citymd: Unfriendly Doctor and Poor Treatment of Elderly Patient
I went to Citymd with my 85-year-old mother, and we didn't have a great experience. Dr. Greg didn't seem very friendly when we arrived, and he didn't want to take my mother's blood pressure manually when the automatic machine wasn't working. I asked him to do it anyway, but he didn't seem very interested in helping us out. He said something like, "I could, but we don't have to." I was pretty annoyed by this, so I asked him again. He replied, "She is 85 and has Alzheimer's, so who cares?" I couldn't believe what I was hearing! I told him that I cared, and he finally took her blood pressure.
The whole visit was pretty upsetting, and I don't think I'll be going back to Citymd again. The only good thing was that the young assistant who was helping us apologized for Dr. Greg's behavior. I appreciate that she recognized that he wasn't treating us very well. Overall, though, I was really disappointed with our experience. It's important to me that my mother gets good medical care, and I don't think we got that at Citymd.
Mixed Experience with Citymd Customer Service: A Review
I recently had an experience with Citymd and I have to say, it was a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, when I called to verify a medical note for two of my students, the first representative I spoke with was very kind and helpful. They were patient with me as I explained what I needed and they did their best to assist me.
However, when I called back just five minutes later using the same number (***896), I was met with a very different response. The representative who answered the phone was rushed and rude, and seemed to have no interest in helping me at all. They told me that they couldn't give me any information because it was private, but they spoke so quickly that I could barely understand what they were saying.
To be honest, I was pretty disappointed with this experience. It's clear that there is some kind of issue with the way that Citymd is training their representatives, and it's not acceptable for customers to be treated so differently depending on who they happen to speak with. I hope that they can address this issue soon, because it's really not a good look for them.
