First of all, the ONE positive thing I can say is I really like the MD I see, so this really is a shame
First of all, the ONE positive thing I can say is I really like the MD I see, so this really is a shame. When you are in house the day of your appointment they are so friendly, and everything looks as if it runs smoothly. The wait is not to long and my visits are pleasant, but after you leave different story. North Atlanta Primary Care in sugar hill is a JOKE! has absolutely Awful response time! I can never reach my MD EVER! Not even through the office. My meds DO NOT get refilled in a timely fashion, so by the time I run out, even if I give them a two week notice, I am left without my daily meditations until I call over and over, and leave messages OVER and OVER. If you wanna complain or even talk to a supervisor, good luck you can never get ANYONE on the phone, except the receptionist who can make you an appointment and/or transfer you to someone's voice mail AGAIN! If you need a response to a question you asked on the patient portal, just forget it, it is not getting answered. You can even send a message again in the portal saying hey just wanted to make sure you got my first message, I asked such and such. forget it that one doesn't get answered either. If you owe them money for any reason Like labs, let's touch on that. They draw labs every visit for some reason or another. I don't care if all you owe them for labs or whatever it may be is $50 left when they have records and can see that you have been making payments monthly to get it paid off and not let it sit and go to collections. If you owe ANYTHING except $0.00 They won't even see you Or make you an appointment until it is paid off in full. Know what happens then. Sorry people with serious conditions like diabetes, heart related issues, blood pressure issues etc... because you can't see your primary MD that already knows you and all your medical history. You are left to somehow find another way to get your medicine. You are left to figure it out. You can't get the medications you need for those and other Serious health conditions because you owe more than $0.00 and can't get ahold of anyone through the portal, office, voicemail or phone and their refusing to make you an appointment because you owe funds. Everyone I would steer clear of this place. It's not worth making your health worse or more importantly something serious happening to you.

Authorization for a tricare prime patient from pcp/ napc
NAPC in Cumming referred one of their patients to us for contraceptive management. She has Tricare Prime for insurance. We must have an authorization thru Tricare for her to see us. The patient and myself have tried for over a wk to get this. The Practice Manager spoke with me 11-29 pm and stated she would do personally. I still have yet to receive. I will have to cancel the patient's appointment due to this as today is 11/30 and her appointment is 12-1. I did let the Practice Manager know and she said not to do so and she will get this to us. I have contacted the office again today, 11-30 and have yet to receive this. They repeatedly sent an office referral. This is not the same as the authorization from her pcp thru Tricare, which I have informed everyone I have been in contact with on the phone. The phone reps have been helpful in trying to assist in this matter, but to no avail. Thank you, Donna V, North Pointe OBGYN, Cumming, Ga. 30041 ph. [protected], fax [protected]
Desired outcome: The patient needs to be contacted and explained to why no none has returned her calls about this matter
Blatant disregard of patient health and well-being
My mother is a patient at Southeast Medical Group Stockbridge. She has been trying to get a medication filled for more than 5 weeks. I became involved about a week ago, because she is so upset and frustrated at being ignored. Since I became involved, she has been lied to about 'we called but nobody answered' (she has voicemail and caller ID), she has gone...

I go to this provider. I have informed them that I have two insurance plans and they need to submit claims to both plans. This company refuses to submit claims to my 2nd insurance plan and continues to send me bills. I was just there less that 2 weeks ago and was told they do in fact have both insurance information in their system. Not sure why E. *** continues to not file with the 2nd insurance carrier. I am hoping you can assist since my correspondence with them has been unsuccessful even though they said they have the information.

The practice used my old insurance information and billed me $613 and $172 for an annual health check up and a follow up visit. I paid the $613 in good faith and later realized that they made an error. I contacted the practice in person for refund. They saw in the system that they scanned my new insurance card but that did not update my insurance information. They said that the billing department will resubmit my *** to my current insurance and refund me the difference. It has been almost five months but nothing happened despite multiple follow *** with the practice manager. On top of the current dispute, they sent me another *** using the same old insurance information. I contacted the practice regarding the new *** and have not received any response to date.

Date of service : Mar XX XXXX
Date of service : Mar XX XXXX. I went to do my annual medical check up which is supposed to be covered fully by my insurance. But after some days I got a bill of $128.50 for the same service. When I contacted NAPC they told me to talk to my insurance. So I called insurance, they told me the plan already paid $272 and this is for some other things they did to me. It was a regular annual check up, they didnt perform anything else nor they prescribed anything. I tried to contact them multiple times and sent them email, but no one is responding to resolve the issue. Now they sent mail from their collection department. I am a patient with them more than 10 years. I never defaulted any payment. This I truly believe they are charging me unnecessarily. Please find the attachments, one the email I sent to NAPC and other the explanation of benefit by insurance for the service. Sincerely

A series of events started with statements dated 12/31 & 1/28 requesting payment of $385 for the drug Shingrix which was not covered by my insurance .I made a payment of $380 to NAPC on 2/5. On 2/26 my insurance said Shingrix is covered, NAPC used the wrong code for Shingrix for the billing. 3/19 NAPC received payment from insurance co. for Shingrix. 4/16 NAPC said refund started 4/1 would take 30-45 days.. 5/18,5/21/5/28,6/1 left call back messages to billing dept.. 6/3 NAPC called and said I had $165 credit left, I requested a statement because I had not received one since 1/28 to find out why I was not getting my $385 full refund. 6/4 Christine called back to say that she would call me on 6/8 she couldn't pull up info she needed. 6/11 called CEO, Dr. *** and the front desk answered the call for him, said Christine(manager for billing dept) me back. 6/15 left message for CFO *** to call back. NAPC (Old Milton Parkway) did not help me resolve a big problem with insurance billing
NAPC (Old Milton Parkway) did not help me resolve a big problem with insurance billing. NAPC provided $1022 in services to my daughter (Sept.-Dec. 2020, act. # XXXXXXX), for which we received no insurance benefits. My daughter received a statement from NAPC which stated "per your insurer, ineligible". So we contacted our insurance, Medica, who stated that they never received these claims from NAPC. I knew my daughter was eligible, but I paid the claims to avoid collections. Then I tried for months to get help from NAPC to troubleshoot this. Phone calls to billing and insurance departments and the office manager were not answered, not returned, or not someone who could help. One time I did reach a billing specialist who insisted that the claims had been billed to Medica and they would not bill them again. There was no willingness on her part to get involved and call the insurance company or dig into the billing records. I have had no access to any employee that will help me.

I scheduled an annual check-up with Dr
I scheduled an annual check-up with Dr. Anu at the Johns Creek location as I moved back to Atlanta. I have done multiple annual check up when I traveled on business trip. Dr. Anu reviewed my charts and asked if I have any concern, I said I feel a bit headache past few days. She said my blood pressure is a bit high and asked if I want some medicine to try. I said that would be great. Part of the check up was EKG, which I suspected will be paid out of pocket so I agreed to the service. When the bill came 2 weeks later, the EKG charged was there, I did not mind. There are 2 charges for office visits, one for Preventive Checkup and another for Office/outpt visit new. I didn't understand why there are 2 office charges so reached out to billing dept, the lady apologize that someone should have mention that writing a prescription would be another $185 charge consider under office visit. I said it does not make sense to be paying a doctor $185 for 5 minutes of writing a prescription.

On 7/9 I was seen by my regular doctor, Dr
On 7/9 I was seen by my regular doctor, Dr. Charles *** at North Atlanta Primary Care (NAPC). When NAPC filed the insurance claim they put the wrong doctor's name on the claim and the insurance company (Anthem) denied the claim and NAPC billed me for the charges. I called Anthem and was told the reason the claim was not paid was because Dr. *** was not in my plan. I have never seen a Dr. ***, I have only seen Dr. *** so I called NAPC and told the what Anthem said and the assured me they would correct this and refile but a few weeks later I got a bill and the charges were still on my account. I called NAPC and talked to the billing dept and the said not to worry, I didn't have to pay the bill. In September I got another bill so I took a copy of the Explanation of Benefits to NAPC and showed them that I am not responsible for the bill and they agreed and said they would get it fixed. When I logged on to my account it showed I had a balance due still so I called NAPC and talked to the Office Manager and she said she would talk to billing and call me back. She never called back so I called the Practice Manager over all NAPC locations and she said she would look into it and call me back but she never called back. I emailed the Office Manager 3 times and got no response. They are still billing me and my account still shows a balance due. I want this account clear and any credit bureau reports removed. Anthem is very clear that this unpaid claim is not my responsibility becuase the doctors office filed the claim under the wrong doctor and then for services not covered without prior approval.

Hello,Weeks ago, I saw my insurance statement said I was responsible for nearly 200$
Hello,Weeks ago, I saw my insurance statement said I was responsible for nearly 200$. I called them and they stated the primary care incorrectly billed my physical as an office/administrative charge and that I would need to contact the primary care facility. I called them but it went to voicemail. I sent a message on the patient portal for billing. I sent another message on the patient portal for the physician assistant who saw me mid-October. After a few days of no response from any of the three attempts, I left another voicemail, sent another message to billing, and sent another message to the physician assistant. The next week, I called several times and left more voicemails, and again the following week. I called the general help and was redirected to the billing line that seems to only go to voicemail. There appears to be NO WAY I can get in contact with anyone. I provided two phone numbers to reach me, neither was called. Prior to making an appointment, I confirmed with my insurance that they request I get a wellness check/physical and that it would be fully covered. I called North Atlanta Primary Care and set up an appointment for a physical. I arrived at the appointment in which my iron was measured, my heart was listened to, my blood was taken, etc. That is not administrative work, that is a physical; I had a physical. This needs to be corrected and billed appropriately so that my insurance fully pays for this appointment as a physical, but there is no way for me to get in contact with them. Insurance is willing to pay for my physical; if they would *** this correctly, they would quickly have their money. How do I get this corrected when they are refusing any contact/communication with me/communicate with me? Please help.Thank you very much.
