Shoes (Loafers)
I have a herniated disc and switched to only buying Clark shoes about 15 years ago. No problem with the older shoes but the shoes I’ve purchased in the last couple of years have continued to disintegrate with the heel material exploding at the worst times. Last night (1/28/2023), I had a work function and couldn’t figure out why my gait seem to be off and why there was black material on the floor under my desk. When I looked at bottom up the shoes, I saw that on one side, the heel and the bottom were gone, and the right shoe was not far behind. I took the shoes off to walk around barefoot until the event where I had to put on a pair of slides I had in my trunk. Looks like I’ll have to find a more comfortable shoe made by a different manufacturer. Clark shoes are not cheap and this is ridiculous!
Desired outcome: Refund and for Clarks to stop with the shoddy manufacturing of the last few years.
Airabell zip boots
I bought this boots during the holidays (last December) and was very happy with them, as they are really cute. It's true that they are stiff and that makes them not too comfortable.
The problem is that, after some days of use, the soles are starting being deformed (I am not sure how to explain it): they have lines on the sides as if they are being crashed. They also run small and my little finger start hurting after a while. I don't know if they will get them back because I have used them for a while, but these are not cheap shoes, and do not have the quality that should be associated with this brand. I don't have money to waste and I was expecting boots for at least a couple of years. I've only had them for a month and wore them for much less than that!
Can I still return them?
Desired outcome: Return or at least change.
Delivery service not received
Dear All,
I placed an order on 2nd of December 2022 on the website of Clarks. eu. the reference I received was IT20143 the amount that was paid is 230 Euro with a mastercard gold.
On the 8th of December at 13.30 hours I received a message from PostNL delivery service track and trace reference 3SPJFW568893710 and description [protected] with the indication that the delivery adres was wrong, and indeed it was.
Instead of the right delivery adres which is:
Danny Daem
Bosheidelaan 60 - 2610 Wilrijk Antwerpen
België
It mentionned the following:
Danny Daem
Bosheidelaan 60 - 2610AN Wilrijk
Nederland
The parcel was than sent back to the sender which is Clarks?
Up untill this moment I can not make any contact with Clarks NL so my last resource is this "Complaint Registration Form" which I sincerely hope you can help me out with this topic.
I also tried through my account at Clarks but the existing password is denied so I asked for a reset and I don't get an answer after severall attempts.
Kind regards,
Danny
E-mail adres : danny. [protected]@telenet. be
Desired outcome: I see two possible options: to refund the paid amount of 230 Euro or if it would be possible to still receive my order within this week dated as of today started monday 12/12/2022.
Women black leather mules
I bought this clarks footwear from myntra. Wore it for the first time on 18th Nov, 2022 for a very important professional event. The sole as well as the heel went off on the first day itself. This kind of quality from a renowned brand like clarks was not expected. Really disappointed. It was a very embarassing situation and had to through the day with broken sole.
Desired outcome: Compensation from clarks and improvement in quality
Clog heels disintigrating! Unrepairable!
I am a 69 year old female who has owned 8-9 pairs of Clark's clogs (and several pairs of dressier shoes). I thought I could depend on this quality product to support my legs and not hurt my feet. (Its why I own several pairs!) I went to my doctor's office today, drove home, walked up my brick walk, climbed the steps to my front door, put my dog out, then took a bowl of soup to my microwave to heat my dinner. While standing there waiting, I noticed my left foot was leaning outward as if had sunk into the mud...not likely standing in my kitchen! I slipped the shoe off, picked it up and looked at the sole. OMG! It was completely disintegrated like soft sand. The center of the heel was hollow and most of the contents were gone. I can only imagine the rest of it is on the floor of my car or outside on the brick walk.
I have arthritis in that ankle and I can't begin to say the pain that caused. I can't imagine the injury (s) that could have provoked had it happened earlier in the day. I immediately checked the right shoe and it was failing too. It hadn't totally melted yet, but the heel was cracked and the crack was heading toward the sole. The heel is completly hollow and would have clearly dropped me to the floor...causing a fall I can't afford !
Now I have to not onlyl replace this pair with something I can trust, but I can't trust the other Clark's shoes I own. I can't afford to replace these on my fiixed income. I am very disappointed with the Clark's company for this poor product. I know I'm not alone. I never expected to see the number of complaints !and pictures of shoes just like mine that have failed so miserably. I'll never trust clark's again
Desired outcome: Replace these (and the others) or offer a cash settlement so I can afford to look and purchase elsewhere.
Return, lack of customer service, refund
I returned to pair of shoes weeks ago. I have confirmation from FedEx that they were received at Clark’s.
The first was order number [protected] for a pair of boots for $150
The second is order number [protected] for a pair of loafers for $130.
The confirmation number for the pair of boots from FedEx is 9202396343497716957776. According to FedEx, this has been excepted by Clarks.
The confirmation number for the loafers from FedEx is 9202396343497716926000 according to FedEx this was delivered to Clark’s
I have received no email from Clark stating that they were received. I have received no information about a refund. I have tried to call Clarks for three days in a row and have not been able to get a hold of anybody on the phone. I have not been able to leave a message. And there is no email provided.
Feel free to look at my account. I have been with Clarks for years. This will be my last purchase with Clarks. This has been a horrific experience, and I am completely irritated.
To resolve the issue, I would like somebody from Clark’s to call me and confirm that my refunds have made it to Clark’s and give me information about the money will be refunded to my account
Terrible customer service Clark’s terrible job
Desired outcome: Contact me to let me know that the boots have been received, and the loafers have been received by Clarks. And let me know when the money will be refunded to my account.Contact me via email [protected]@gmail.com
Delivery and lack of customer care
I placed order [protected] on 22 Nov quoting 4 day delivery, soon after I got an email saying the shoes had been dispatched, Post office tracker said they were awaiting the package, 9 days later there is no change, I have tried the C S. number for an hour with no one answering, 2 emails to CS, twitter and Facebook DM to no avail.
Are they all on holiday or have they all been sacked?
Desired outcome: Refund an apology
Zips burst within 3 months on clarks orinoco 2 boots
After only 3 months the zips on both boots broke in the same place (the teeth detached from the fabric of the zip).
Clark's return policy states that faulty products ts returned to store within 6 months will be replaced or refunded so I headed back to the store where I purchased them. The manager said she would only offer a 60% refund as the boots had been worn and were therefore showing signs of wear.
I didn't feel this was acceptable for a £130 pair of boots so decided to contact customer services.
Customer services said that it was at stores discretion and they could only offer a lesser value discount voucher.
I sent photos showing the faulty zips (that clearly showed a gap where the teeth had detached from the fabric of the zip but the customer service person claimed they could see no fault with it.
Desired outcome: Zip repair/replacement and if that's not possible, exchange the boots.
Shoes
I recently attended a company function and wore my Clark’s shoes. I’ve always been a very big fan of their shoes (I had 3 pairs in my closet). I was so embarrassed when I was waiting in line at the buffet and noticed that the heels were shredding. Once I returned to my table I saw large chunks of the sole under the table.
Friday night I went out to dinner and wore my Clark’s clogs. After getting out of the car one of the shoes ripped to shreds on the side. These clogs have been worn maybe twice. I had to take the shoe off and walk into the restaurant with one shoe on.
Needless to say I threw the third pair of Clark’s shoes I own in the garbage last night. I will never buy them again.
Soles of black suede sandals crumbled away.
11/03/22, early evening. I planned to wear them in a couple of days, but took them out today; the bottoms felt vaguely sticky, so I wore them around the house for a short while and they left black trails of pieces. Although I have had them for a some time, they were lightly worn, usually in spring and autumn in Southern California.
I also should add the same problem occurred to 2 other Clarks shoes, both slightly worn, while in public (both pair were discarded immediately).
Is there a remedy to keep this from happening? It would be helpful information to me, as I still own other Clarks shoes.
Thank you so very much.
Leather quality on women shoes
Hi,
I bought a pair of high heel shoes. When I bought it I realized that a small part of the leather was birghter in the colour. However, since I was in hurry and I needed the shoes for my meeting and it was the only pair in my size I bought it. I used the shoes in a meeting organized in a hotel with carpets all over. After the second day I realized that there is a damage on the leather on the heel. I don’t know how this damage has bern created. But I really got surprised with a low quality of the leather which damaged so quickly with a daily use. If I had used it in the airport or in the office, I wouldn’t get that surprised. I had a leather shoes from another brand before and I have used them for several years and although they are not that high in heel but they stayed very fine in the quality. With the quality that I got from your brand, I think if I use the shoe for one week in the office, it will be full of scratches.
It was my first time to buy this brand and I had heard good reviews about it. However, I didn’t meet my expectations and the quality was not as expected.
Desired outcome: I would like that the shop accepts to repair the shoe and change the heel that I can use the shoe for at least a year. Otherwise, I should through it away.
Clarks structured 86003 shoes
The shoes were a birthday gift and I didn't wear them immediately so I kept them in my closet in the original box. Upon recently wearing them over a period of 2-3 days I found the breathable insert along both sides of both shoes was deteriorated and broken resulting in shoes that are not usable despite having less than 30 hours of use. I find this to be of...

These shoes show hardly any wear on the uppers and soles, but when I put them on yesterday morning clumps of the heel (see pictures) started coming off so that I nearly fell off the stair. When I realized what was going on, my whole staircase was strewn with spongy debris and all I could think was that I was lucky to remain standing and that it happened at home and not on the way to work or during my lecture presentation. This would have been an ultimate disaster! As it is, I was shattered by the experience! The shoes were barely used, stored in a dry closet, how could it happen? Both shoes were impacted, so this was a systemic problem with manufacturing and material, not just one chance rotten egg.
I had one other similar episode to my Clarks sandals in the middle of the work day - I got the shoes replaced by the store, but I never forgot how I had to make it to my office after the meeting practically barefoot - losing the ground under my feet, one clump at a time.
Shame on Clarks for poor product quality and control! Your materials have failed me, twice. They put me in danger, caused embarrassment and left me deeply disappointed.
Please resolve the case with my Artisan shoes - see photographic evidence to support my case below.

Desired outcome: Please refund the cost of the shoes ($65) or send me a voucher for a new purchase of a similar (but better made) shoe. Apology is also warranted!
Sandals sole comes apart after wearing about 6 times!
I recently bought a pair of really cute Clarks flip flops that are blue with a nice cushion sole. After wearing them about 6 times, the soles cracked off the side of the shoe and now are practically unwearable because it feels like I will twist my ankle. I'm not overweight nor did I do anything to cause this problem. These sandals are simply not well made! They look a little dirty because I wore them during the rain one day. I tried to glue the one shoe but gave up.
Desired outcome: New pair or a refund
Schools shoes
I brought 3 pairs of school shoes ready for September and let's just say they can't wear them anymore!
The quality of clarks have gone down hill, for shoes not to even last a term is disgusting shoes are not cheap and should last at least 6 months of the year!
My 11 years olds sole has come away on both shoes!
Then my 6 year old on the left foot the stitching has come off causing a hole!
My 5 year old daughters the patient has started to come away! £165 worth of shoes going in the bin!
Heel and sole dissolving
I am 84 years old and recently retired. In 2021, I purchased 5 NEW pairs of Clarks slip on for everyday wear in my retirement, blue, black, brown, burgundy. Imagine my embarrassment when I tried to donate these shoes to a homeless shelter. When the volunteer opened my bag we found at least a pound of black soot, but no heels or soles on my Clarks, What happened to you? These shoes are NOW CRAP. Last summer, the top separated from the sole on a different pair but I thought I might have gotten them wet, but after reading the complaints here I now know it wasn't my fault.
At 60.00 to 80 dollars each, I can't afford to purchase any more Clarks, a loss of $420. to $500 at least. Of course, after this experience, I certainly will not. I will also advise all my friends, neighbors, and social media friends to NEVER again buy Clarks. GOOD BYE
Desired outcome: REFUND
Brown 2 tie hole plain leather
Hi, my shoes are so cool! PROBLEM... Where the stitching meets the rubber all the way around, is lifting away and now the stitching is starting to break. I only wear these shoes now and then because I love them and don't want them to fall apart. I'd say I wore them probably about 20 times, if that. My friend pointed it out.
Their number 15260 or [protected].
Desired outcome: I'd love a new pair, same or comparable, that stays together so rain water wont get thru. Rain season is coming...
Shoes falling apart
I was wearing my Clark’s today I did t walk far at all. Drive to the airport nothing strange. Got to a friends house to let the dogs out and walked in the yard. Thought I stepped in a hole but no. My shoes wearing disintegrating. The soles were like dirt clots. I had only walked in them for maybe 15 minutes total. Had to drive home barefooted. I am soooo disappointed.
Soles falling apart within 5 times of using it
Ticket No:[protected]
Had bought a pair of Clark tan shoes from their authorised store and paid for the shoe in full₹9999/- (fresh stock) and not on sale/ or discount
Since it's a Tan color shoe I wear it on very rare occassions.
Not used the shoe for more than 5 occassions in all.
To my horror I wore it to attend a function and within within 1 hour of wearing it the sole had come off.
Even till date the original labels are still on the shoe indicating that the shoe is hardly used
Made several complaints to the Clarks e mail address as well as spoke to the customer service help desk.
I called up the Clarks helpline number on several occasions and also have written multiple mails but
Keep getting no response.
Desired outcome: Replacement
Clark Indigo slides with kitten heels.
I have a beautiful pair of Clarks Indigo slides with kitten heels. I've only worn them a few times. I bought them because I thought they had a classic style and the shoes would last for years. Unfortunately, the last time I put them on, the heel on the left shoe cracked and broke off. The heel material is also sticky to the touch. The first photo shows the beautiful shoes. The second photo shows the cracked heel. The third photo shows what the heel should look like.
Desired outcome: If possible, I would like to have the heels replaced with a durable material that will not crack and get sticky. The shoes are just too darn cute to throw away without attempting to have them repaired.
