unauthorized recurring charge
While doing a web search I was intrigued by a people search ad. Basically $1.00 for 4 free days, $21.65 monthly recurring charge if not cancelled within 4 days. I cancelled during my first free session, as I was noticing more $$$ needed to continue search. I did complete my search, and cancelled notifying them that their web site was a scam !

The clkbank.com charge me from my debit card from my bank $19.95 on Sept 21, 2010 and then again this month on Oct. 21, 2010 for $19.95 and then I don't have insufficient funds on my checking account and have to paid overdraft fees for $34.00 for the two months. You better pay me back or have to deal with the businees bureau.
I want my money back, I didn't order nothing from clkbank.com please return my money.

unable to report affiliate spam
Have received numerous spam for some Phillipines situated idiot. The spammer copy pastes the recommended e-mail from the seller's website (not Clickbank, the seller). He then proceeds to hose the Internet with it. He uses third party tiny URL makers to obfuscate where his own pages are hosted (he doesn't host any except some crap pages in the .TK ccTLD).
Clickbank.net, for some inexplicable reason, has chosen not to allow others to report these abuses. When one sends an e-mail to [protected]@clickbank.net, one gets the following (this comes directly from the SMTP spool log):

What was sent was a legitimate Unsolicited Bulk E-mail complaint to the registered address with Abuse.net. And this is the giggly little joke that one gets back. One is not able to send an abuse complaint (handwritten or machine-crafted) to them. Why? I suspect it's because they make tons of money off spammers. There is nowhere for one to inform them on their Web site (already tried it; you get an error message saying the message contains spam; like *duh*, it's an e-mail abuse complaint).
Anyone considering selling product through Clickbank best be warned. Clickbank doesn't give a tinker's dam* about your reputation or whether your product is sold by spamming -- even though they pay lip service to it in their affiliate Terms and Conditions. There is nowhere for the public to report the activity so Clickbank can kill the account and any other account associated with the spammer.
I, for one, will not puchase another product through them.
Auntie has an update. A lovely person at Clickbank e-mailed and assured me they do take spamming seriously. In fact, they hate it.
They terminated the spammer's account. Isn't that lovely?
Oh, and those messages in Auntie's MSTP spool log were nothing but their mail server's greylisting. Auntie should be ashamed to think Clickbank didn't care about spamming.
Auntie will now sit, alone, in the dark, and chastise herself for being so silly. Then she'll have a nice sip of sherry.

On Friday, the 2nd of Jan.2009, I was trying to down load my iPod. And the site said it requires a membership, and also a credit card payment with that membership, so I thought that I was doing what it said, so I gave them my credit card number and they sent me an email stating that it will be taken out of my account.
Today is Jan.4th and I decided that I was going to cancel that transaction with them. So I went on the internet and your site shows me that they are a rip off site. This is an online records search service. The first thing I did was do searches on people I know with certain types of records that should come up very easily. NOTHING CAME UP ON ANYONE EVER. It is a complete and total ripoff. I contacted customer service the same day and instantly got an email back that said I would receive a refund. That was two days ago. Haven't gotten refund yet. IF YOU WANT A SERVICE FOR SEARCHING ON LINE RECORDS THAT DOES WHAT IT SHOULD, USE NET DETECTIVE, they are the real deal.

CLKBANK * COM kept charging me after I cancelled my account with the vendor. I asked who kept that money, no reply. My guess is CLKBANK kept it, so my complaint is against CLKBANK. I need to prove that I received an email from CLKBANK acknowledging the cancellation. I never got that email, but I have proof from the vendor that I cancelled it, and proof of when the account ran out.

We identified the charge and were surprised we were still being billed a year later. It took us that long to catch it with two people getting computer guides that showed up as CLKBANK. We never questioned it together until neither of us expected a recurring charge from them anymore. I think they count on that, and should be sued for charging for services not rendered.

I ordered a search service from them and they billed my checking account for $29.95. The did not provide the service I contracted them for. I have emailed them to cancel my order and to refund my money and if I don't get any satisfaction, I will complain to the FCC as this is an interstate fraud using the internet.

can't cancel subscription
I subscribed for a 1-month subscription for $10.95 to some public records search that I wanted to use for genealogy research. I fond the service useless so had no intention of continuing with the service. However, I have found a second charge of $10.95 on my credit card nad now have no way of knowing the company name or service to contact to cancel the subscription before I get yet another $10.95 charge added to my card.

CLKBANK * COM kept charging me after I cancelled my account with the vendor. I asked who kept that money, no reply. My guess is CLKBANK kept it. I need to prove that I received an email from CLKBANK acknowledging the cancellation. unauthorised payment + and no refund
I ordered two downloads from this company - couldn't open them. Clk refunded one amount but not the second - £23.59. A few days ago I received an extremely heavy parcel from Benson containing hardback copies of the two downloads and some "medicines" and I see on my Card account a charge for £80.19! I DID NOT order these things. Can you get me a refund?

Actually you DID order these things... and we have the proof. The merchant for our digital orders is totally different than our physical product merchant. That means you would have to had entered you cc info TWICE on two different sites, as we do NOT STORE credit cards.
So, if you want a refund on the products, use the many links provided: One by email upon purchase, one on the product download page (including our phone number!) ... help.jonbenson.com. Pretty simple really. I'll be sure that even at this late date you're refunded (just send this note to the CS staff.)
charge of 14.99 on credit card
Click Bank charged my credit card acct. $14.99 for a information they said I would receive on public records. After pay the 14.99 they wanted more money to proceed on to their next step to receive public adoption records. This is a scam and I want this amount credited back to my account. I emailed them to do this and they have not credited my account.

I am abashed to have to confess that my memory has grown very defective in some respects, but it is the case that I find I have been charged by some agency labeled CLKBANK*COM. Six charges were made on Dec. 21. A charge of $39.95 made on Dec 21 was refunded on Dec. 24. But another five charges, credited to different but similar code-names or whatever, were made on the same day, amount to $75.30. I have no memory now at all of what such charges might have been for OR OF WHAT SORT OF ROTATING CHARGE OR SUBSCRIPTION CAUSED ANOTHER CHARGE OF $35.00 TO HAVE BEEN MADE ON JANUARY 11. When I opened my visa bill there was a charge of $43.24 I don't even know or ever heard of this company. So I want my money back. Or will I havr to take legal action? Wich is no charge to me.

My husband saw a book (?) he wanted to order. So he gave out our credit card # to order the book. Turns out its an ongoing internet program that keeps charging your credit card. When I read that, I immediately called my bank. A charge for 39.97 already posted BUT I canceled my husbands card so no further charges can be incurred. I am also trying to contact Clkbank.com to get a full refund within the 60 day period to NO AVAIL. I keep getting "voice mail is full"..."go to our website"...call during regulare business hours." This is a scam people. Be very aware...So all I am out is 37.97...thank God!
Sorry but this is totally inaccurate. We have NO recurring billing products for $39.97. We have THREE ways to receive a refund, one being from Clickbank.com 'direct'. The other being from the customer service site plainly listed on the product download page. help.jonbenson.com -- and from there, within the 60 days, you could have refunded 'yourself' with nothing more than your receipt.
