We are very disappointed with CMG Cargo for their unprofessional and dishonest practices. We paid AED 2,500 for a 125KG airfreight shipment, with the agreement that it would be delivered door-to-door within 5 days. However, our shipment was put on hold by Philippine Customs because CMG incorrectly declared the weight as 92KG. CMG then demanded an additional AED 1,000 to release our shipment from customs.
Despite paying the extra fee, 10 days passed with no delivery. It has now been a month since the agreed delivery date, and we still haven't received our shipment. CMG is not answering our calls and falsely claimed that the product was delivered. I requested the delivery note, but they could not provide any document proving the shipment was delivered. The receiver never received any calls from CMG and did not receive the shipment.
Recommendation: Do not use this shipping company!
Take immediate and aggressive action. Document everything, including all communications and payment receipts. File a formal complaint with the relevant consumer protection authorities. Use social media to expose their dishonest practices and warn others. Demand a full refund and compensation for the additional costs and delays. If they continue to ignore you, consider legal action to hold them accountable. Don't let them off the hook—make sure they face the consequences of their unprofessional behavior.
