This company is full of crap
This company is full of crap. I've been waiting for my goods to be delivered for over 14 days, like they promised. Then, I get a call saying they'll deliver my stuff at 12, but they never showed up. They said it would be tomorrow, but again, they didn't come. And now, they expect me to pay the full price for delivery, without even considering the fact that I had to miss two days of work. I will never, ever use them again.
They stored my furniture for about a year and when I finally got it delivered, 80% was all messed up with water damage and mold and mildew
They stored my furniture for about a year and when I finally got it delivered, 80% was all messed up with water damage and mold and mildew. I was paying $192 a month and what I got back was furniture that I had to pay extra money to some junk dealer to come and take away. The dressers didn't even have legs and the bed rails never showed up. Even the guys who brought the furniture said it was useless and they were quick to blame the guys who picked it up. Now I gotta wait like 120 days just to get my measly 60 cents a pound, which is gonna be like 60 bucks. I ain't gonna straight up tell you to stay away from them, but you know, think twice.
Save your money and go with a different company
Save your money and go with a different company. Firstly, the shipment arrived more than a week late. Secondly, the majority of our belongings were damaged. We're talking about hundreds and hundreds of dollars' worth of damages here. And guess what? They're only offering us a measly $78 as compensation, which doesn't even come close to covering the cost of the damages. It's a real shame because all the items that got damaged, like our big furniture pieces and kitchen dishes, were actually wedding gifts that we never even got to enjoy. Can you believe it? Our move happened way back in January, and it's only now that the claim has been settled, and with such a disrespectful compensation amount. Seriously, find another company to handle your move.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. They didn't call us on the day we wanted our stuff delivered. Don't believe them, your things won't arrive on time. (I mean, it could take like 16 days) but *** said it would probably come when we wanted it. A week later, still waiting...truck broke down and we don't know when. Did the company call us? No...just some random moving truck driver in the broken down truck. I suggest selling all your stuff and not using this moving company. Their communication skills are bad, but I think they just don't care.
***WARNING DO NOT USE!
WARNING DO NOT USE! Our contract was placed with Coach USA Moving & Storage by a broker, ***, do not use them either. Furniture was intentionally listed smaller, like a loveseat instead of a sofa, to give a lower quote. But in the end, we had to pay an extra $1500 at pick up. When our furniture was delivered, they refused to let us see it until we gave them the final cashier's check. The driver took the check and left before unloading even started. Our furniture arrived in pieces, literally! They unloaded broken pieces! If we had chosen option 1 on the contract, we would have had to pay $18,801. Option 2 only pays 60 cents per pound! It's a scam by both companies!
My pals, listen up!
My pals, listen up! I gotta warn ya about Coach USA Moving and Storage. They're a real mess, I tell ya. Unprofessional, unreliable, and downright dishonest. I've never dealt with a worse company in my life.
First off, they were late to pick up our stuff in KC. Can't even show up on time, what a joke! And when they finally arrived, one of their creepy employees had the audacity to snap a pic of me in my own home. Yeah, you heard me right, a pic of my rear-end! Then they had the nerve to send it to a group chat with their buddies. Disgusting!
But it doesn't end there, my friends. Oh no. They straight-up lied about when they would deliver our belongings to our new place on December 10th. And guess what? We still don't have our stuff! Every time we call, they say the managers ain't around, can't make us a priority, and have the gall to claim they did nothing wrong. Can you believe it?
And let's not forget the price tag. We shelled out a whopping $4000 for this move, and all they could offer was a measly $200 discount. Talk about a rip-off!
To sum it up, they showed up late, sexually harassed us, lied about the delivery date, and refuse to take any responsibility. This company is a total disgrace. Do yourselves a favor and steer clear of these clowns. Spread the word, my friends, so nobody else has to suffer through this embarrassingly awful experience.
So, I gotta say, my experience with Coach USA Moving and Storage was a total disaster
So, I gotta say, my experience with Coach USA Moving and Storage was a total disaster. I mean, seriously, they messed up big time. My bed? Completely destroyed. Chair? Ruined. Table? Same story. And to top it all off, the wheel on my tool chest was broken off. Not to mention, scratches and gouges all over my furniture. It's a real mess, let me tell you.
But here's the kicker: these guys outsource their work to random drivers who hire people from some sketchy Facebook group. Can you believe it? I actually found one of these non-employee drivers rummaging through my purse, which I had hidden under the counter. He had a lottery ticket in one hand and my purse in the other. Talk about shady characters! They could be anyone, and Coach USA knows it. They don't even bother with background checks or bonding these people. It's a real security risk, you know?
When I confronted them about this whole non-employee situation, their response was just ridiculous. They basically said, "Well, the contract doesn't say we can't do it." Can you believe the nerve? And as if that wasn't enough, they offered me some lousy compensation. Like that's gonna make up for the anxiety and worry I went through, especially since my husband was away on business at the time. I spent countless nights feeling on edge, not knowing if these people were casing my home too.
Now, we haven't even filed our damages yet, but I'm really curious to see how that's gonna go. I have my doubts, let me tell you. All I can say is, be careful if you decide to go with Coach USA Moving and Storage. They're putting consumers at serious risk, and who knows what else could happen.
Don't use Coach *** as your Moving Company
Don't use Coach *** as your Moving Company. Our broker was Trinity who then hired Coach. They picked up our items to be moved on May 25th and they have 21 working days to get your items delivered. Twenty one days passed and nothing. We had to keep calling and asking if they could tell us when our load was to delivered and they kept telling us ours was the next one out! it finally got on a truck only to be taken off because the truck wasnt equipped to handle our load with another one so off it came. Did anyone bother to call us and tell us that NO!We had to call and inquire why it hadnt arrived yet! We ended up getting our items July 9th and oh by the way we have yet to be compensated for them being late. When they got here no surprise we had damage. It was obvious when the lift gate up on the truck didnt work that it wasnt going to be good! Our grills broken, fire pit destroyed, 75 inch tv screen cracked, dresser damaged, mattresses filthy which were packed to there recommendation. That wasnt all that was damaged. Now lets talk about their claim process. HORRIBLE! They make it so that its almost impossible to complete and then you wonder if you will receive anything (Highly Doubtful). Its 60 cents a pound and you have to put on the claim what the item weighs. It was so aggravating that we stopped. It wont let you download pictures which they want and everything has to be in one file, pictures have to be color and labeled which you have to describe the item anyway. It was the worst experience. I recommend not getting a broker and move your belongings your self or get a known moving company and DO NOT involve a Broker.
DO YOUR RESEARCH!
DO YOUR RESEARCH! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Yes, that sounds dramatic, but let me tell you - it was the worst experience from start to finish! What I have learned - they contract out to a driver. The driver then hires his/her own people. Sometimes off of *** How this played out - we bought "white glove service" No one came to the house to give an estimate. The estimate was via video (mistake #1). NEVER do this folks - hire a company that will come out and look and gives an accurate estimate. This move cost TWICE what we were quoted. 22K! So, on moving day 2 guys showed up to move a 5 bedroom, 4 bath home where nothing had been packed. We had to be out of the house the next day. They had a box truck (small truck). My husband did A LOT/ at least half of the packing! The driver only found one guy to help! It was a nightmare. The one guy he found stole our identity (we assume since he was in our office where our tax records were kept) and we got a call that someone was trying to take out a loan in our name on our cross country drive. Then when the furniture was being delivered, there were 5 guys total (this would seem to be a good thing, right?!) Well, they overwhelmed me - boxes everywhere, nothing is marked. Three/four hired guys broke into the truck and stolke 30k cash. This could have been WAY worse folks! Because these guys require CASH. They knew I had CASH on me - in fact, I had 10k cash on me when I arrived at my new house. They certainly could have robbed me personally. At any rate, the driver was obviously upset and the police were at our house fingerprinting and taking info all day. My stuff was not put together as we paid for and there were boxes everywhere and it was up to us to do the rest. WORSE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!
I wouldnt give this moving company one star
I wouldnt give this moving company one star. It was the most terrible experience i have ever encountered. 1) The moving company was 5 hours late to the move. There was no compensation for that.2)The moving company charged me an extra 426.00 extra dollars due to my bed exceeding the "cubic square footage that was assigned to my move. As i explained to their Customer Relations Manager *** cubic square footage was never explained to me nor on how it could affect the price of my move. I was asked the size of my bed and if it had a headboard and footboard. THAT IS IT! 3(*** comes off friendly and concerned for the customer but she can try to to talk to you in a degrading way she is borderline unprofessional. DO NOT DEAL WITH HER OR THIS MOVING COMPANY! 4) I was never given a copy of my *** of lading5) My pick up was on march 9th the driver called me on March 10th to tell me my belongings would be delivered on March 11th this move was a state to state move and i had a person to sign for my belongings in the state i was moving to because i had no arrived yet. On March 10th the driver text the person that was going to sign for my belongings and told her he caught a flat tire and would not deliver my belongings until Saturday march 13th. The driver never contacted or returned any of my calls. I called the moving company and spoke with *** about the situation . she told me that the driver said that the person was not able to make it to sign on my behalf and they were going to charge me an extra 200+ dollars because they were not able to deliver on Thursday and i had to be there by Friday to sign for my belongings. Friday was impossible for me because i would be on the road traveling to the state where my belongings would be delivered. I told *** this was not fair because i held up my end of the agreement and that the driver was lying. Her reply was "its your word against his" I was floored. I sent her the screenshot text that the driver sent to my person about the whole flat tire thing. Only then did she agree to wave the extra 200+ fee.6) Saturday came and i was at the delivery to receive my belongings. I asked the movers if they could put my boxes in the front of the appliances and heavy parts of my bed so i could get to the easily. They failed to do that7) My bedroom set is in complete shambles. when the movers took it apart I would have thought that they would place the parts in a organized fashion. i have pieces everywhere i cant say if any parts are broken or missing because its in a storage. 8) I have a big living room wall mirror that was left broken. The movers never told me they left it for me to find. 9) As i am going through what i am able to reach i believe I have some boxes missing.10) The same pick up driver was the same driver that was not truthful about the flat tire was the same driver that was present at delivery this made me fell very uneasy when I saw him I cannot believe this company didn't redemand him and still trusted him with everything i owned.11) when i explained this to *** she told me that was not the same driver I know his face and i was there she wasn't She then began to tell me my text message had no date on it so that text could have been any date.. she also began to belittle me due to me not understanding everything about the contract she said " that is just crazy you would sign something you don't understand. She also said that the 400+ dollars i was charged was the brokers fault and not there'sPLEASE *** DONT NOT USE THIS COMPANY ***Y TOOK ADVANTAGE OF *** AND LEFT *** STRESSED OUT MISHANDLED EVERYTHING I OWNED AND *** MORE FOR *** SERVICE *** PROVIDED. *** COMPANY NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED *** AND *** SHOULD HAVE SO*** SORT OF *** ACTION OR JOBS TERMINATED!

In addition to the regular moving fee, we had to pay extra for the delivery of our coffee table ($60) and *** stand ($150), which added up to a total of $210. Despite paying these additional fees for safe delivery, the coffee table ended up getting damaged during transit. Even worse, the movers lost some parts of the *** stand, so they couldn't even assemble it properly. They have offered us $90 as compensation for the damages. We are requesting $90 for the damages, plus a refund of the $210 special delivery fee, making a total of $300.
I hired Coach USA Moving to transport two old furniture items from ** to Naples
I hired Coach USA Moving to transport two old furniture items from *** to Naples. We relocated from *** to *** on a permanent basis in April. During the move, some of our belongings were sent to *** for my sons, while the two antique pieces that I inherited from my mother were supposed to be delivered to ***. However, since April, I have been repeatedly calling them, but they keep saying they are still trying to find it. I emphasized how crucial it is to locate these items, but they seemed indifferent. They won't even compensate me for the loss. Now, I'm stuck with a desk chair that doesn't belong to me. They were supposed to find the rightful owner, but they never did. I submitted a claim, but I haven't received any response. All I want is for someone to locate and return this missing piece. I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thank you.
I booked my moving with Nationwide in the fall of 2021
I booked my moving with Nationwide in the fall of 2021. I spoke to someone named ***. I had read a few bad reviews on Yelp, so I talked to *** about it. He said not to worry, as they only work with the best movers and they will safely transport my things to ***. I should have trusted my instincts! The movers, Coach USA Moving and Storage from Massachusetts, arrived at *** on June 16th. They partially delivered at 9:00pm on 6/22/22 and finished the delivery on 6/23/22. Unfortunately, things were broken and missing. I have filled out their report three times, but they haven't responded. I can't upload the pictures to their complaint form because there are too many damaged items! What should I do now?

Don't use this company, Coach USA Moving and Storage
Don't use this company, Coach USA Moving and Storage. They started off bad, showed up late! They moved my furniture 1700 miles and stored it for less than 60 days. The damage to my furniture was not acceptable, and some pieces never even arrived. How can furniture be taken from one place, stored, and then not put on the delivery truck? I think someone has taken my belongings and furnished their own home. There's hundreds, maybe thousands, of dollars worth of damage and missing furniture, and they're only compensating me $68.00. If I had chosen Option 1 for moving fees instead of Option 2, I would have paid $14,000.00 more for replacement value of missing furniture and damage. Yes, you read that right! (SCAM) The furniture was made by a family member who has passed away, so it can't be replaced. It has been in the family for generations. Go somewhere else!
I hired Landmark Movers to move my furniture from *** to ***
I hired Landmark Movers to move my furniture from *** to ***. They are a broker that contracted out Coach USA Moving and Storage. Pack up of my goods went fine. I was asked when I wanted my good delivered and I told them 17 May . After, I found out that this was the first day of "processing" my order to deliver my goods. I was told that it can take them 14 to 16 business days to deliver my goods. After two weeks of waiting, I had to travel for business and received an email stating my goods were enroute, however, it can take 1 to 10 days for delivery. Called the office and I was told the driver has to give me a 24 to 48 hour notice of delivery. They called me five hours out. Had to take my goods back to *** (last I knew my stuff was in ***). Waited another week and called on 4 June for an update. Was told that my stuff was packed up and coming to me. Driver would give me 24 to 48 hour notice. Furniture damaged..no follow up on reconciliation.
We moved from ***, ** to ****, KX on April 1st
We moved from ***, *** to ***, KX on April 1st. We was working with *** to help fix lots of problems-- lots of broken stuff worth thousands of dollars, a box that went missing, a box that ain't ours, and the delivery driver came alone. We had to help with the work, put together all our furniture, and take off the wrapping ourselves-- this is something we paid for but the company didn't do. Crystal disappeared. She never called us back or left a voicemail. When we called the company, nobody answered. Our emails got no response. In May, Britnee finally answered our call. We told her everything I said before and she gave us a plan of action-- she gave us the info we needed to make a claim and said we would get money back for the company not doing the work at delivery. After 61 days, they offered us $88 as a refund. We don't accept that and the company hasn't called us back since early July.
I hired Coach *** to move my furniture from ** to ***
I hired Coach *** to move my furniture from *** to ***. They said they would be the movers, but they weren't. On pickup, they sent two drivers from another company that they subcontracted. And on delivery, I had over *** in broken and damaged furniture. They told me to go to movingclaims.com to settle for ***. I refused because all my items were unusable and I had to throw most of them away. My dining room table's top was shattered, the base was broken, and my floor statue, which was worth *** dollars, was also broken into pieces. Even my brand new white couch had black stains all over it, and my coffee tables had broken wood. I can keep going with more examples. They lied about being movers and subcontracted to other companies that damaged all my belongings. Every time I asked for answers, they sent me to work with movingclaims.com. The *** should check both of these companies because they are not legitimate. They are just a company that sends subcontractors without screening or knowing them. They are NOT a moving company like they claim. They are a third party that collects money from movers.
We worked with International *** Lines to secure a cross country move and storage from *** to *** in February 2022
We worked with International *** Lines to secure a cross country move and storage from *** to *** in February 2022. They gave the move to their local mover Coach USA Moving and Storage. Our stuff got picked up on February 26th and moved into storage until we had a permanent address. On April 13, 2022, I got in touch with Coach about our address and to schedule a move-in date. Our stuff arrived in *** on May 4, 2022. On our move-in day, we - and the movers - noticed some damage to our stuff, like a bookshelf, floor lamp, broken glass on a cabinet, and missing supports for a dresser. As we unpacked over the next week, I noticed that we were missing at least 2 boxes worth of our stuff. I filed a complaint with photos of my broken stuff on May 17th. They acknowledged the complaint and said it would be resolved in *** days. On May 31st, I reached out to Coach again to ask about the claim and to mention some more missing items. They told me again that it would be resolved in *** days. On July 1st, I got an email inviting me to submit a claim request. I replied saying that I had already submitted a claim 45 days ago with no response. They sent another email saying they have a process they follow. I asked again what that means because I've been following all the steps so far and this is the first time they've sent me this email with a website to submit my complaint to. I want a resolution for my broken and missing stuff.
I'm writing this claim 'bout Coach USA Moving and Storage based outta ***
I'm writing this claim 'bout Coach USA Moving and Storage based outta ***. They quoted us $6,000 to move our stuff from ***, *** to ***, ***. On January 26th, after all our stuff was in the truck, we find out the cost is now $11,000. 'Cause we had to leave the house, we had no choice but to let 'em take our stuff. We weren't ready to spend this much money, so our stuff had to go in a storage unit the company owns in ***. Finally got our furniture on February 21st, Presidents Day 2022. My work iMac never made it to our house. This 27" iMac alone was worth 'bout $2,000, it had all my teacher *** plans, which can't be replaced. It had Adobe Photoshop suite for me to do Photography, worth over $200. Can't work now 'cause of it. We're missin' a spray painter worth 'bout $200. We're missin' a Dyson Air Purifier, worth over $300. We're missin' the dome to our fire pit, so it's useless now. Buyin' a new fire pit will cost us a few hundred dollars. One of our patio seats arrived broken. I called and they asked if we had insurance with 'em. If we didn't have insurance, then we gotta file a claim with a third party company. I filed with the third party company and 'til this date, April 19th, 2022, I haven't heard back from anyone. They said they'd search the lot for our stuff. My iMac is locked and says no location found, meanin' it's still turned off packed somewhere. It ain't right for a company to charge so much, lose our stuff, and expect us to accept the loss without a refund for the stuff they lost.
Coach USA moving came to the house on July 2
Coach USA moving came to the house on July 2. They told me that IVL had sent the updated list and their truck wasn't big enough. They also re-calculated the items we were moving and said it would cost $15,000 and we'd need a second truck. I tried calling Coach moving company and got nowhere with their customer service. When I asked for a supervisor, they said the person I was talking to was a supervisor and there was no escalation. Even though the refrigerator was on all the inventories, they had a hard time getting it out of the house and scratched the floors on the way out. Because of the difficulty, the refrigerator shelves were cracked when we received it. It cost $45 each to replace. We had to drive a 20-foot U-Haul ourselves and pay a rental fee of $3000 to move the rest of our items to the new house. We also had to leave behind furniture like a sectional couch, gym equipment, and other storage pieces because we couldn't fit everything. We had to hire a garbage pickup company for $175 to throw out some of the remaining pieces. The movers kept saying that the job was assigned with the outdated delivery and square footage. Despite not being able to pack the other half of the house, halfway through the job they said they did have the updated inventory and it would be the quoted $10k for the signed inventory. Even though they blamed the incorrect inventory for not having the right size truck. The movers spent the whole move telling us that many of their customers have been scammed in similar ways by the company they work for. I made a claim for damages based on the website they gave me, but there was no response and no contact information for follow-up.
Service started on March 30th, and the final move was on 07/06
Service started on March 30th, and the final move was on 07/06. I hired Northern Moving to move my house contents and car from *** to ***. The move date, which was initially the 25th, got moved by them to the 30th, which we mutually agreed to. They quoted me one price, but then contacted me about a price change, assuring me that they would reduce the price on the back end if the new estimate was inaccurate. They didn't mention that they would subcontract the work out. They messed up the job, damaging and stealing my merchandise. The subcontractors also made threats and demands for the furniture, and even lost my items for days during transport. They refused to give me the storage location. They overcharged me for the move, and the car company subcontractor they used to move my car threatened me. The furniture subcontractors illegally moved my items from one state to another without an address on record. There were at least 3 subcontractors involved in this. The subcontractors rushed me with a new person who messed up the paperwork from the move to the first storage. The supervisor admitted it was his first move and had to contact his supervisor for help. When I told him the paperwork was wrong and I was in a tough spot, they threatened to leave my stuff behind unless I signed it. The house was sold, and I had a plane ticket the next day. Coach, their subcontractor, moved my stuff from one storage to another illegally. They refused to disclose the address after losing track of my items for 11 days, so I could check on it once they finally located my items. They only disclosed it the day before they moved me to my current address. Then another company, DL moving company, moved my stuff here, and they are another subcontractor. They wanted me to sign that they delivered my items in good order, but I refused. My items are damaged, stolen, and vandalized, totaling over $32,000.00, not including my pain and suffering. I want them to pay for everything and refund me in full.
My items were delivered outside the window agreed upon—with larger, high ticket items damaged, destroyed, or lost
My items were delivered outside the window agreed upon—with larger, high ticket items damaged, destroyed, or lost. I filled out the appropriate claims forms THREE times to thee company hired to do the third party evaluation of my claim. I was covered for only $.60/pound. Even at that valuation the total should have been around $200—STILL they would not agree to pay (first offering $46 then $76). I emailed Coach USA Moving and Storage to sort this directly and was looped back around to ***. I want to full value agreed upon and the reimbursement for delivering outside the contracted time frame to be paid.

On October 19, I entered into a contract with *** to move my belongings from *** to ***
On October 19, I entered into a contract with *** to move my belongings from *** to ***. However, Coach USA Moving & Storage arrived to move my belongings and said they were contracted by *** to complete my move. While I was not informed by *** that a third party mover would be used, I was stuck because of time constraints with the closing of my house. Upon unloading my belongings in ***, almost every box was destroyed and re-taped together with brown tape. Several items were broken, meaning shattered. When I pointed out all the damage to the boxes and their contents, the delivery men said to file a claim with the company. Aside from that, my bedroom armoire was missing the screw on feet, and was taped along the wood and significantly damaged as well as deeply gouged. The delivery men dropped this item at the doorway to the master bedroom and slid it across my bamboo wood floors into the room. Because the feet were not on, this caused deep gouges in the wood all along their path of the floor. This was the last item to be unloaded and the delivery men ran out the door immediately after. Within 5 minutes of their leaving I called the deliverers several times to no avail. When I finally got a response they claim the feet were never on the truck, and said they’d note the damage to my wood floors. They also reiterated for me to make a claim, which I did. The claim amount came in at $80. That’s ridiculous! They then added an additional $30 for the floor damage. This is unacceptable. Along with the floor damage I had to pay a company to lift the armoire out of the room to prevent further damage. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
