Coast Marine Inc is a bad company. They took my deposit and didn't finish the job. Don't work with them.

Coast Marine Inc is a terrible place to do business with. They took my yacht parts six months ago and haven't responded to any of my 20 emails or text messages. I just want my parts back, but they seem to be ignoring me. It's really frustrating.

I gave Coast Marine my authorization and payment on December 28, since they were the repair company recommended by the manufacturer. I didn't ask for any warranty. But, it's already March 3, 2022, and my yacht equipment hasn't been returned yet. I tried calling them, but no one answered. I also tried to contact *** but got no response. I went to their business place, but no one was there, even though all the lights were on. I just want my equipment back so I can find someone else to fix it.

Coast Marine Inc is not a good choice for fixing your boat's Air Conditioning system. We asked Tom D to fix it in August and he gave us a proposal for over $5,000. We thought it was too much and asked for a revised proposal for $2,500. We gave him a deposit of $1,850, but it was a big mistake. We got a second opinion and for only $200, our AC system was fixed perfectly. We told Coast Marine we didn't need their service anymore and asked for our deposit back. But after six months, 12 letters, countless emails, and voicemails, we still haven't received our deposit. We went to their office and Tom yelled at us and said he had nothing more to say. Don't fall prey to Coast Marine, there is a clear pattern here. Beware!

I had a bad experience with Coast Marine Inc. I paid a deposit of $1,850 in August for marine services, but they never provided the services and kept the deposit. I tried to contact them many times, but they didn't respond. It's been 3 1/2 months now, and they still haven't returned my deposit. I saw other people online with similar complaints. They seem to have a habit of keeping deposits for services they don't provide. I wrote to them six times, but they never replied.

I got this business to fix my fishing boat's bow hook. I paid them $1,000.00 USD as a deposit (2 direct Zelle payments from my *** Fargo acct) to the owner ***. But, I never got any update or repair done. I tried calling, texting, and emailing *** for over a year! I fixed the boat myself, so it was not a big deal anymore. But, I want my $1,000.00 back. I visited Coast Marine's place of business in *** many times to get my money back. I showed all my documents to *** in person inside his garage workshop, but he did not help me. During my first visit, he promised to call me back, but he did not. During my second visit, he took my address and promised to send my money after speaking with "accounting," but he did not. During my third visit, he argued with me and said he probably fabricated $1000 worth of parts and just didn't install them. Total b.s. is what I said to him and he knows it.
