Codecademy Codecademy Review: The Ultimate Learning Platform for All Levels!

Codecademy is the bomb! I've been using it every day for like three months now and it's way better than what I heard from people who used it before. Like, all those complaints are like so outdated, you know? It's like October 2021 now and I haven't had any problems with customer service or the servers being down or anything like that. So, like, just give it a try and see for yourself how much it's improved. They have courses for all levels, so you can start from scratch or build on what you already know. I give this site like a million stars if I could! I've finished so many courses and I'm like totally satisfied with everything. Thanks Codecademy for being so awesome! I'm definitely gonna keep my annual subscription for like years and years to come.

Codecademy Codecademy Review: Great Content, Frustrating Website Speed

Codecademy is a pretty cool website to learn how to code. The stuff they teach you is really good and you can learn a lot. But sometimes it's hard to learn when the website is slow and you can't move forward. It's really frustrating when this happens because you want to keep learning but you can't. I think it's weird that they have so many investors but they can't fix this problem. It seems like it should be a top priority for them. I hope they fix it soon because I want to keep using the website. I know it's free but they still need to make sure it works properly. I was trying to learn Python and I saw that a lot of other people were having the same problem. It's not just me.

Codecademy Disappointing Content and Lack of Support: A Review of [Site Name]

The site looks good and easy to use. But the stuff they write is not good. They make a lot of mistakes and repeat things too much. This makes it hard to understand what they are trying to say. This is not good for people who are just starting to learn how to code. Even if you pay money, they don't answer your questions. So it's better to use the free version. Don't waste your money on this. There are other sites that are better and free too.

Codecademy Codecademy Review: Learn to Code in a Fun and Engaging Way

Learning something new can be a real drag, but Codecademy is changing the game. They've turned learning how to code into a fun and engaging experience that feels more like playing a game than sitting in a classroom. With almost 100,000 users already signed up, it's clear that they're doing something right.

If you're looking to learn Javascript, Codecademy is the place to be. Their interactive lessons are easy to follow and provide plenty of opportunities to practice what you've learned. Plus, the site is completely free to use, so you can learn at your own pace without breaking the bank.

I've tried other online coding courses before, but none of them have been as enjoyable as Codecademy. The site is well-designed and easy to navigate, and the lessons are broken down into manageable chunks that make it easy to stay motivated.

Overall, I highly recommend Codecademy to anyone looking to learn how to code. It's like Rosetta Stone for the coding world, and it's definitely worth checking out. So what are you waiting for? Sign up today and start your coding journey!

Codecademy Codecademy Review: A Clean and Engaging Site for Learning to Code

I gotta say, Codecademy is a pretty sweet site. I'd give it a solid 4.5 stars, but I gotta knock off half a star because there's not a ton of content yet. But hey, they're working on it, so I'm sure it'll get there eventually.

One thing I really like about Codecademy is how clean and smooth the site is. It's super easy to navigate, and the lessons are really interactive and engaging. Plus, there are no ads, which is always a plus in my book.

If you're looking to learn how to code or just want to brush up on some skills you used to have, I'd definitely recommend checking out Codecademy. It's a great resource, and I know I'll be bookmarking it and coming back for more lessons in the future.

Overall, I can't really think of any reasons not to use Codecademy. It's a solid site with a lot of potential, and I'm excited to see where it goes in the future.

Codecademy Great Resource for Beginners and Kids: A Review of a Cool Programming Website

I found this website a while back and it's pretty cool. I'm a developer, so I don't really need it, but I like what they're trying to do. I've told a bunch of people about it when they ask how to get started. It's a good way to get a feel for programming.

My kid got interested in programming recently, so I had him check it out. He's super stoked about it and told me last night that he finished his fourth lesson on the JavaScript track. He's turning 12 this month and he's already starting to program. That's the same age I started at when my parents brought home a TI99/4a.

Codecademy Codecademy Review: Beware of Hidden Charges and Support Team's Response

Codecademy is a website that teaches you how to code. They have a free trial, but you have to give them your credit card information. They say you can cancel before the trial ends, but they still charge you. I got charged after four months. When I canceled my account, they called it a "pause." The support team's response was funny. They said that your subscription will start again after the pause period ends. They also said that they will use your payment information to charge you again.

Codecademy Disappointing Experience with Codecademy: Poor Lessons and Terrible Customer Service

I'm a college student who's studying Software Engineering. I've already taken a Java course and a C course, but I wanted to improve my programming skills. That's why I decided to give Codecademy a try and upgraded to their pro version. At first, it was easy to navigate through the courses, but I noticed that they didn't go in-depth with the lessons. I reached the topic of conditionals, which I found enjoyable and easy. However, I encountered an exercise that kept telling me that my answer was wrong. I knew that I was correct because I've used conditionals many times before, and I even filled in the exact example they provided. But still, it kept telling me that I was wrong. I felt frustrated and gave up on the exercise. Later on, I found out that the code they gave as the answer was the same as mine. What the heck?! This happened several times, and it made me feel more frustrated. I decided to ask for a refund because I knew that this wasn't going to work for me. They gave me a refund, but then charged me again and took my money. I emailed their customer service about it, but their representative was rude and unhelpful. Their customer service was terrible, and they did nothing about my refund. I still haven't received it until now. I'm so disappointed with Codecademy!

Codecademy Codecademy Review: Good for Beginners, But Frustratingly Nitpicky

Codecademy is a really good place to start if you want to learn how to code. I used it a few years ago to learn HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and it helped me out a lot. Recently, I've been reading some books on C# and thought I'd give Codecademy another try as an additional resource to learn.

The explanations are pretty simple, and the topics are easy to follow. However, the problem is that every time you try to submit your code, Codecademy is looking for very specific things. For example, in one of the earlier lessons, it wanted me to use\n to write a new line. I used\n in the same line, in only one Console. WriteLine(); method. It printed out exactly what the lesson wanted in the console, but still gave me a big red X. I struggled to find what the problem was for a few minutes until finally checking for the solution.

It turns out that it wanted me to write three different Console. WriteLine(); statements. How frustrating! It's not nearly as efficient. And honestly, that's just one example. Every other lesson, this would happen. I would understand the material, write my code, it would say it didn't work even when it did, and then I would have to guess what the computer wanted. It really messed with the pacing of my learning.

Codecademy is like having an incredibly nitpicky teacher. It will slow down your progress. Even if the material is good stuff, it feels like pulling teeth trying to figure out what exactly the computer who's grading you wants. But overall, it's still a good resource for beginners who want to learn how to code.

Codecademy Codecademy Review: Great for Beginners, but Flawed and Frustrating

I'm pretty new to coding, been at it for a couple of months now, and I've only really done the basics of HTML and Python. So, I'm coming at this review from the perspective of a new user who's just starting out with Python.

At first, Codecademy seemed really great. It gives you badges, saves your progress, offers hints and solutions, and it's free! It's like having training wheels on a bike, which is exactly what I needed. But then, it all went downhill from there.

It's like when you try a free sample at the grocery store and it tastes good at first, but then it turns out to be awful. You start gagging, everyone around you stops and stares, and you wonder if you should buy the product. That's exactly how my experience with Codecademy went. I was thinking about paying for it over the summer when I'd have more time to work on the lessons, but the more I did them in my down time, the more it felt like I was a debugger getting paid $0 an hour. I started encountering lesson-ruining elements every single step of the way. Needless to say, I'm not considering that option anymore.

So, why did I come to this conclusion? Here are a few reasons:

1. Lack of Community
I get that there are some elements that I wouldn't get until I pay, but the community seemed bleak and disconnected. I made a number of posts on the forums, staying highly positive, and I never got a helpful reply. I had staff hide my posts a couple of times though... oh, I did get one response, but it was essentially trying to crush my enthusiasm. The community was a real letdown.

2. Poorly Designed Lessons
I have a Master's in Education and I've been teaching for seven years. Lesson planning is kind of a big thing for me. That being said, I cannot tell you how many times the instructions said something like "Why don't you try using (thing you've never learned or been taught before)." Literally, a number of lessons ask new coders, such as myself, to use things in lessons that they never introduced in the first place. This is a really simple lesson planning 101 flaw that could easily be corrected, but alas, it has not.

3. Lackluster Hints and Support
Again, being new to coding, when someone says "syntax error" to my face, I don't know what I need to fix. Codecademy has one great feature (until it's not)... the "Solution" button. After enough banging my head into a wall, I can click to see the solution, an exemplar, which is great for learning purposes... but even this is broken in the later lessons. All of a sudden, perfect answers have errors and there's absolutely no explanation for that. Also, I can click on hints for the problem I'm on and in a number of hints I've gotten "have you tried adding numbers?" or a comment of the sort (no, I'm not kidding, most of the hints are nigh insulting). I've found a couple of solutions through the forums, but remember my first point...

4. Bugs
Just a ton of them. I've had lessons where I type "f*** this buggy a*** lesson" and I get a check mark and moved onto the next page. Now, their staff seems to be fixing things, but I've also heard that there are probably more fixes beyond the "pay wall." Again, from above, the free sample has to be good otherwise you'll get users like me fleeing Codecademy.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great to have a free resource out there and I got a basic knowledge of some coding principles from this, so I'm thankful to Codecademy for that. I also hope that they use my review and others to improve their service, but when it comes to the quality of the service, I'm seriously doubtful that the things I'm learning are actually correct because the service is so flawed, so so flawed, that I have a hard time figuring out if it's me or Codecademy.

All in all, this means Codecademy is a great place to get your feet wet, but not a great place to stay. I'm looking into Khan Academy, Udemy, Coursera, EdX, and others to see what else I can do to further my learning.

Codecademy Mixed Feelings: A Review of Codecademy's Coding Courses and Customer Service

I ain't gonna lie, I had some issues with Codecademy. I signed up for a monthly subscription for 40 bucks, but then I decided to cancel before they charged me. But guess what? They charged me anyway, and not just 40 bucks, but a whopping 340 dollars! That's a lot of money, man. And when I tried to get some help from their customer service, they didn't even bother to get back to me. Not cool, Codecademy.

But you know what? Despite all that, I gotta say that Codecademy is still a pretty good platform for learning how to code. They got some solid courses and tutorials that can help you get started with coding, even if you're a total noob like me. And the best part is that they make it fun and interactive, so you don't feel like you're just reading a boring textbook.

I especially liked their Python course, which was super easy to follow and had some cool projects that I could work on. And their web development courses were also pretty dope, with lots of hands-on exercises that helped me understand how websites work.

So yeah, Codecademy ain't perfect, but it's still worth checking out if you wanna learn how to code. Just make sure you keep an eye on your subscription and don't let them charge you more than you signed up for.

Codecademy Codecademy.com: The Ultimate Free Resource for Computer Science Students

Codecademy.com is a dope site, man. It's helped me level up my computer science game, both in theory and coding. It's like having a sick teacher for programming code. If you're a computer science student, this site is your best bud.

I ain't gonna lie, at first I was skeptical. But once I started using it, I was hooked. The lessons are easy to follow and the exercises are challenging enough to keep you on your toes. Plus, they cover a wide range of programming languages, from Python to JavaScript to Ruby.

One thing I really appreciate about Codecademy is that it's free. You can sign up and start learning right away without having to shell out any cash. Of course, there are paid options if you want to get more in-depth, but the free stuff is legit.

The only downside I've found is that sometimes the site can be a bit glitchy. Like, it'll freeze up or not load properly. But honestly, that's a small price to pay for all the knowledge you can gain.

Overall, I highly recommend Codecademy to anyone looking to up their coding game. It's legit, it's free, and it's helped me become a better programmer.

Codecademy Review of Codecademy: A Decent Site for Learning to Code, Despite Some Bugs and Interruptions

Codecademy is a website that teaches you how to code. It's a pretty good site, but there are some bugs that make it hard to use. For example, sometimes when you finish writing some code and hit save, it doesn't actually save. This can be really frustrating, especially if you've spent a lot of time working on something.

Another issue with Codecademy is that it sometimes asks if you're "still learning" when you're in the middle of typing. This can be annoying because it interrupts your flow and makes it hard to concentrate.

Despite these issues, the learning exercises on Codecademy are pretty good. They're not the best out there, but they're definitely helpful if you're just starting out with coding. The site covers a wide range of topics, from HTML and CSS to Python and JavaScript.

Overall, I'd say that Codecademy is a decent site for learning how to code. It's not perfect, but it's definitely worth checking out if you're interested in learning how to code. Just be prepared for some bugs and interruptions along the way.

Codecademy Codecademy Review: Good for Beginners, But Limited Freedom and Frustrating Errors

Codecademy is a website where you can learn how to code. It's a good place to start if you want to learn programming languages. However, there is no freedom in the lessons. You have to write the exact line of code, and if you add a space where you shouldn't, it will get mad at you. It's frustrating because you have to pay to get rid of the errors. Codecademy Codecademy Pro Annual Subscription Scam: My Experience and Warning

So, I gotta tell ya, I was pretty excited when I signed up for Codecademy's Pro Annual Subscription during their Christmas offer. I mean, who wouldn't want to learn how to code for a sweet deal of 4999/- a year, right? But then, just one month later on January 20th, 2022, they went and scammed me! Can you believe it? They wiped out all my billing details and now I can't even get my money back. And to top it all off, they're telling me to buy the Pro pack again! What a load of baloney.

Now, I will say that during that one month I did use the Pro subscription and it was pretty cool. I learned a lot and felt like I was really making progress. But now, they don't even show me as a Pro subscriber anymore. It's like I never even signed up in the first place. What a bunch of scammers.

So, let me just say this loud and clear: don't trust Codecademy. They're fully scamming people left and right. Save your money and go somewhere else to learn how to code. Trust me, it's not worth the headache and heartache that Codecademy will give you.

Codecademy Codecademy Review: Not Worth the Money or Hassle

I tried out Codecademy for a week and let me tell you, it was not a good experience. They don't send you any notifications or reminders about your trial, which is already a red flag. And to top it off, they don't offer any refunds if you're not satisfied with their service. It all feels like a scam to me.

But the real kicker was when I cancelled my subscription on the day it was set to expire, and they still charged me. I was so frustrated and angry. I mean, come on, Codecademy, get your act together!

And let's talk about the price. They are way too expensive for what they offer. There are so many other websites out there, like freecodecamp, that offer the same thing for free. Why would anyone pay for Codecademy when they can get the same education for free?

Overall, I would not recommend Codecademy. It's just not worth the money or the hassle. Save yourself the trouble and find a better alternative.

Codecademy Codeacademy Pro Review: Technical Issues and Frustration with Learning Javascript

I signed up for Codeacademy's pro version and started learning Javascript. But I noticed that my code wasn't running anymore for their exercises. It was a bummer because I was excited to learn and practice coding. As I continued to use their website, I noticed that my screen would freeze up. It was frustrating because I had to refresh the page and start over again.

At first, I thought it was just my computer acting up. But after a while, I realized that their website was moving slow and sticking. It was a bummer because I was really enjoying the courses. I tried to find a solution, but I couldn't seem to fix the problem.

I would recommend doing your research before signing up for Codeacademy. I've read that others have experienced the same issues with their website. It's a shame because they have a lot of great resources for learning how to code. But if their website isn't working properly, it's not worth the frustration.

Overall, I would suggest trying out other free resources to learn instead. There are plenty of options out there that are just as good, if not better. Don't let the technical issues with Codeacademy discourage you from learning how to code. Keep searching and you'll find the right fit for you.

Codecademy Disappointing Java Course on Codecademy: Better Free Options Available

I just finished the Java Course on Codecademy and I gotta say, it's not all that. It's missing a lot of important stuff that you need to know if you want to be a real Java programmer. There are way better courses out there that you can take for free. I'm really disappointed that I wasted my time and money on this.

I'm not sure if Codecademy has any other courses that are better, but I wouldn't risk it. There are so many other options out there that are way better. If you're looking for a good Java course, I would recommend Edx or Stanford's CS106a. If you do decide to take CS106a, make sure you watch Professor Mehran Sahami's lectures. The other professors aren't as good.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Codecademy. It's just not worth it. There are better options out there that won't waste your time or money.
