Sent a bill to collections that I never got.
The company don't even try to send you a bill
The company don't even try to send you a bill. Just straight to collections. Over 30 reviews on google showing similar scenarios. Places like this need to be investigated and shut down.
They said something that Centura Health already said they're a fraud
They said something that Centura Health already said they're a fraud. They sent me to collections even though I paid for the *** CT scan and X-ray services, and I paid Centura Health for the doctors to review the imaging results. They need to investigate this ASAP.

A collection item was submitted by Colorado Imaging in Dec 2022 for $534
A collection item was submitted by Colorado Imaging in Dec 2022 for $534. I never got a bill from them and don't know what it's for. Now it's on my credit because *** sent it. I called Colorado Imaging and asked about the item sent to collection, and they said they'd send it to their review department and I'd get a call. But I haven't heard back. They said it was for a CITI scan in Aug 2020. I haven't had a scan.
I recently made two payments for my medical bill to Colorado Imaging Associates P
I recently made two payments for my medical bill to Colorado Imaging Associates P.C. The first payment was $76.65, and the second payment was made on 7/7/22. However, the very next day, on 7/8/22, they sent me to collections. It seems like they are trying to get double the money from me. When I asked them about this, they were acting suspicious and didn't provide a clear explanation as to why they sent me to collections despite my payment being marked as paid. I have proof of my payments through bank statements and email receipts. When I return home from work, I will take a photo of the collections notice sent to my P.O. Box.

I just got a notification that my bill went to collections
I just got a notification that my bill went to collections. I always pay my bills on time, so this is a surprise. How can I pay a bill that I never got? Just like everyone else, Colorado Imaging Associates sent my bill to collections without even contacting me. I called them, and their billing company claimed they called me back in February last year, 2021... I don't believe that for a second. This company's unethical practices have lowered my credit score from the 800s to the 600s. I'm not happy about it. I have enough money to pay this bill, but I can't pay for something I never received.
Fraudulant medical bill from Colorado Imaging Associates
Fraudulant medical bill from Colorado Imaging Associates. They sent me a bill and harrased me with predatory phone calls about $26 after they billed my insurance over $300, despite me never signing any form that I was consenting to them performing services during my *** visit. The forms I signed I read very clearly and the services I would receive would only be billed through Centura health. This is a money grab and a predatory practice. The doctor listed on this bill does not even practice in the state of Colorado. He is licensed in ***, meaning I could not receive care from him, especially at 1 in the morning when I was at the *** in Lakewood, Colorado.
Colorado Imaging Associates never sent any bill to me
Colorado Imaging Associates never sent any bill to me. I logged in to my account today and saw a zero balance. No correspondence of any kind, either physical or digital. And today I got a call from collections asking for about $200 (after knowing and verifying that I have paid the account in full). I visited google to write a review, and it seems that this is a systematic problem, and have treated MANY people exactly like they treated me. - no correspondence, no warning, straight to collections. *** has a bill of $260.00 for Imaging services done on 06/30
has a bill of $260.00 for Imaging services done on 06/30. Mr. passed away on 12/25. Colorado Imaging messed up and said it was a Workmans Comp claim when it wasn't. We emailed them, called them, faxed them, and left messages for the office manager every week asking them to cancel the bill since Mr. passed away. They didn't respond or call back at all. They didn't submit the claim correctly and didn't send it to his extra insurance. Now, the family wants the bill canceled because the Imaging Provider didn't communicate well.
Colorado Imaging apparently outsources their billing to a 3rd party
Colorado Imaging apparently outsources their billing to a 3rd party. We called this 3rd party billing on numerous occasions because the statements we were receiving weren't correlating with our EOBs. We finally were able to talk to someone who confirmed the amount we owed and we paid the balance. Suddenly ten days later, we received a notice from a collection agency saying we had been sent to collections for a different amount. We called the physician's office and were immediately transferred to the 3rd party billing who informed us that they needed to investigate the issue because they OUTSOURCE their statements. I have no faith this company will adequately resolve this issue since they never return phone calls.
I had a service on 4/12 from Colorado Imaging Associates
I had a service on 4/12 from Colorado Imaging Associates. They asked for a payment of ***, which I paid using my card ending in *** on 7/4. However, I received a call from collections and had to pay the same amount again for the same service on 8/16, even though they added an interest charge of .09. This time, I used my card ending in ***. Now, I have received another collection letter with an interest charge for the same service from Colorado Imaging Associates. I have already paid this amount twice, and they are trying to make me pay it a third time. I want to be reimbursed for the extra payment, and I hope that Colorado Imaging and Centur Health can fix their billing practices to avoid overcharging patients.
I got a CT scan on 2/28/2022 at St *** in ***
I got a CT scan on 2/28/2022 at St *** in ***. I got the hospital bill and a bill from Colorado Imaging Associates for $61.71. I paid it all in July 2022. Then on 11/22/2022, a collections agency called me and said I owed $392 to Colorado Imaging Associates. I never got a bill or call about this charge before. They said my insurance denied the claim and I had to pay. I called my insurance company (Anthem BCBS) and appealed, which is still going on. My insurance company said they denied the claim from Colorado Imaging Associates twice before: on 3/4/2022 and 4/5/2022. My Explanation of Benefits says the claim was for $392 but I owe $0. The insurance company denied it because the medical provider didn't get pre-authorization and they saw the procedure as unnecessary. So, they said the medical provider is responsible for the charge. The insurance agent also said it's against the contract between the medical provider and Anthem BCBS for them to bill me for that balance, called "Balance Billing". In Colorado, they call it Surprise Billing and it's illegal. I asked Colorado Imaging Associates for a statement, but they couldn't give me one because they closed my account and sent it to collections. On 12/19/2022, someone from a third party came to my parents' house (in a different city from where I live) trying to give me papers for this $392 charge. On 12/20/2022, I paid collections what they asked for ($459.03 = $392 + interest), but this charge breaks the contract between the medical provider and my insurance company. I want a refund of $459.03 and to warn others about this bad practice.
