Comfort Pro was assigned to fix my A/C issues by my home warranty company
Comfort Pro was assigned to fix my A/C issues by my home warranty company. I'm glad they did. the technicians are very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They did a great job the two times I needed repairs. In fact, when the second issue cropped up, AHS originally sent another company out to look at the problem, and the technician didn't have a ladder. When AHS called me, I specifically requested they send Comfort Pro again. My A/C is old, so if another issue pops up, I'm telling the warranty company to send Comfort Pro.

This is the second time I have had comfort Pro out to my house for 2 different problems with my A/C units and both times Rick was my service tech. If I could give higher then a five I would, he has fixed problems right the first time and always has been a complete professional to work with. Rick went over and above to make sure I understood what the problems were WhaT he needed to do to correct it and why it happened. I will definitely continue to use comfort Pro in the future and when possible I will request Rick to be the tech.
Wanted to only sell new ac system. Was called to estimate a repair for AHS.
Technician misdiagnosed the problem. He stated the compressor was shot because the unit is old. I told him another tech diagnosed the issue for free as a bad contactor. Since I had a warranty company, I chose that route and they selected Comfort Pro. The tech at Comfort Pro insisted the compressor was bad and I needed a new unit. They called the next day to say the warranty company would cover to replace the compressor but not the Freon. The bill would have come to over 1000.00. I had to call a different company and they also diagnosed it as a bad contactor. The tech replaced it and all is well. I feel this was a lousy deceptive attempt to sell a new unit. The sad thing is so many people dont have access to other honest contractors who can diagnose the issue.
Our guy did a great job explaining what happened and how to prevent it in the future.
Really nice gentleman and very knowledgeable. I really liked the company and would call them back again.
Worst experience
Worst experience. Was supposed to be here between 11-3. I called at 3:07 and he finally showed up at 4:20. I waited all day took time off of work because they told me if I didn't answer when they called they would move on! He finally Shows up and works on it. Then says it needs freon. I explained I have the home warranty, he then asks for the service call money and leaves!' I was in the driveway asking him to Fix it that I would pay for it and he left! He has us put the heat on so now the house is unbearable. Choice Home Warranty is awful .
Luis did a fantastic job! it was no easy task to change out the dampers in my AC unit in a tight cramped space but he was able to do it. I watched him work he explained everything to me and the end result my AC is now working great. Thank you Luis for a job well done!
The serviceman Brian was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Awaiting the results and recommendations from the service call.
LuÌs was very nice and very helpful. He answered my questions and offered suggestions on what I could do. Thanks!
Great service! Very thorough in the inspection for your A/C unit. Found the issue and quickly working towards resolving my issue. Thank you really appreciate your help
The Choice Home Warranty (CHW) affiliate "Comfort Pro LLC" technician arrived at the scheduled time
The Choice Home Warranty (CHW) affiliate "Comfort Pro LLC" technician arrived at the scheduled time. He immediately got to work checking out my GE HYBRID WATER HEATER, Model # GEH50DNSRSA1. He took photos of the data plate on the unit, and conferred with his home office. He spoke with the Comfort Pro company owner, who confirmed they were familiar with this brand / model water heater, and also advised he had an identical unit in his home. The technician advised they would now contact CHW. I am awaiting a reply from CHW. Excellent job Comfort Pro.
Ricky and the company were awesome! I would recommend this company to all my friends and colleagues in a heart beat.
It took 2 weeks for them to come to my house to replace a compressor. Just imagine living in a house in 90 degree weather with no AC. They claim the delay was because the compressor was lost during shipment! How does a big heavy compressor get lost during shipment? SMH! They also have poor customer service. I had to call their office several times before someone would call me back. Unfortunately I got stuck with them because my home warranty company uses them.
Fast response. Carolina excellent as a CS ! Would recommend the company
AC broke down and shot. Brian came out and gave the bad news but did everything he could. Melissa in the office helped with getting a new unit. The crew was out the next day and had a new unit installed in about 4 hours. Great customer service. Crews on site were awesome! Thank you.
Luis did his job
Luis did his job. My AC unit is on the third floor of my condo. Comfort Pro put in my new AC a year ago. However, They failed to put in a pan under the unit unbeknownst to me. As a result water collected under the unit and ultimately overflowed. I came home Friday to find water running on the floor, thru the walls, and through my can lights in the ceiling below. Despite my efforts to get someone out the night of the event...it failed. Your dispatcher told me that could not happen. So, Luis came the next morning. However, now there is ceiling damage. Not a very happy customer now considering your company put in the unit.

My A/C (heat pump) went out on a Thursday evening and Anthony from Comfort Pro was at my residence early Friday afternoon, He quickly diagnosed the issue and showed me what the problem was. He explained to me the cost of the repairs, but I didn't feel like putting that much money into such an old system. He then provided me with a couple of options to replace the system and within about an hour, he and the staff had me set up to have the new system installed Saturday morning. The installation crew was wonderful! The installation looks awesome and the new system works excellent. I really appreciated all the professional assistance from everyone from Comfort Pro and I have already recommended them to my neighbor!

Rick and his team did a 6 month inspection and were informative about our A/C system, I was able to see the problems that would be occurring in the near future. Since our system was 12 years old and not well maintained. We had a choice of a good cleaning or replacement system. But many of the main components were very rusty and covered in mildew.
As a result we decided to order a new system. Rick called the office of Comfort Pro and came back with a couple of choices for a replacement system or a complete cleaning. We settled on one and he came back that they could install the next day. The next day the install team showed up and installed the new system. Now a few days later and the system is working great.
Very professional. Thanks

Unfortunately, this last service call was very upsetting and concerning
Unfortunately, this last service call was very upsetting and concerning. In a previous service call with a different technician, we had a very positive experience. However, this last time, rather than a technician, they sent a 'sales person' that did not disclose the purpose of his call, and diagnosed our problem under false pretenses. Consequently in misdiagnosing the problem in his favor and trying hard to sell us an entire new system, by giving an incorrect report to our insurance, the insurance denied our claim. Thankfully, after a second opinion, the insurance ruled in our favor and we now have an other company taking care of our problems. Comfort Pro, was going to cost us thousands of dollars, of unnecessary expenses, caused by the unethical conduct of their 'salesman' with the collaboration his superior. Comfort Pro, will never be allowed on our premises again and we reported them to our insurance company.
Comfort Pro is my go to company for AC and Heating repair
Comfort Pro is my go to company for AC and Heating repair. They are, hands down, the best when it comes to customer service and professionalism. Special mention goes out to Rita and Rickey. Rita bent over backwards to ensure I received service as quickly as possible when my AC stopped working. She had a technician at my home that same afternoon. Rickey is the best! He really knows his stuff. Within 10 minutes, he diagnosed the problem to a shortage and had the AC back up and running. When our zone system was malfunctioning earlier this year, Comfort Pro was the only company that was able to diagnose the issue. We had two other AC repair companies out and after 3 weeks, we were still without AC in the middle of summer in Florida! Again, Rickey knew exactly what to do and had us up in running in no time. I highly recommend Comfort Pro to anyone looking for a company that gets the job done right. And, I always request Rickey by name. However, all of their technicians are very knowledgeable.
Very poor in completing what they initially agreed for
Very poor in completing what they initially agreed for. First, they make you sign a contract with the choice of A/C brand and services you want, once the contract is done, they many changes to the contract in the backend of their systems both for the brand and services. They send in an installer who doesn't have knowledge of what you ordered for and brings a completely different A/C brand and services offer, and make you sign on a small cell phone on which you cannot read or understand what you agreed for and what they are delivering. Once signed, you agreed for a sub-par brand and services that you didn't select for and pay the price you initially agree for. You are basically paying for what they want to deliver and not for what you want. Be cautious on what you are agreeing, and insist for a paper invoice and agreements when signing to get the installation done. As and when you ask why the change in A/C brand, they give the reason for Covid-19 and because of it they sent a different A/C brand and they don't have a minimum courtesy to inform the customer for the change and if I am agreeing for it or not. I would recommend them to anyone else based on their business practices.
This was one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with
This was one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with. They were sent out by home warranty company to check out an issue with my HVAC. The guy who showed up complained about getting on the roof, and stated that there was no way the warranty would cover my repairs (which he was wrong about), and was just generally unprofessional. Once the work was approved I had to call the company multiple times to follow up for scheduling. Nearly every time they seemed disorganized and unprofessional. They quoted me for over $2k in coil cleaning and duct sanitation costs in addition to what the warranty was covering. When I didn't think it made sense to pay $1200 to clean coils that probably needed replaced. They continually offered financing. I asked them to quote me for a replacement of the coils as I thought that made more sense. They never got back to me. They then called to schedule the work. I took off work for the first time they were scheduled and they did not show, stating that they couldn't make it because an employee was sick. The next day they came back and started complaining saying things like "let's see if we can get this b.s. on the roof," referring to the compressor they were there to replace. They then spent two hours at my house to state they would have to get a lift and come back. How did they not know they would need this the first time they came out?!?. Four business days later I had to call their office. They then sent me a text that made no sense. When I called them back they stated that I needed to call the warranty company because it was a safety issue to perform the work. All in all it's been about a month since my hvac went down and thanks to comfort pro I am back at square one. This is one of the most unprofessional contractors I have ever had the displeasure of working with.
*I have edited my review based in a phone call I received from the owner(Steve) of Comfort Pro* Though the initial visit from one of the Comfort
I have edited my review based in a phone call I received from the owner(Steve) of Comfort ProThough the initial visit from one of the Comfort Pro tech was extremely frustrating the rest of the review was based on my initial dealings with that first Tech. Because of that I misinterpreted the information that the Owner(Steve) was attempting to give me. Because of several factors it took a bit but my Air Conditioner is working great. The owner called me today about my initial review. Even though I put his company through the shredder he was not angry or disrespectful. He was generally concerned about what happened. After a great discussion I have absolutely no doubt I will use Comfort Pro from now on. I trust him(Steve) 100%. He did not ask me to change my review. He just wanted to find out why I left it. It was based on the very first visit by a tech who did not represent Comfort Pro in a professional manor. He(Steve) not only gave me his personal number and Email but is refunding my home warranty deductible. Told me if my air conditioner ever acts up again not to hesitate to call him. After my conversation I told him he didn't need to refund my deductible but he insisted. I'm leaving part of my initial review because if it should happen to you do not hesitate to call Comfort Pro and let them know. Steve insists he does not do business that way and will not tolerate it from one of his Techs and I believe him 100% I have American Home Shield. My Central A/C quit. AMS sent Comfort Pro out to evaluat the problem. Service guy wasn't here for 15 minutes before he tried to sell us a new unit. Told him we had warranty and he scoffed at it. Kept on about selling us a new one. Told him we couldn't afford it but that didn't stop him. My wife asked if we bought a new one how long would it take? He said I can get them out here tomorrow. Again told him can't afford it.
My A/C compressor finally went out in the middle of summer
My A/C compressor finally went out in the middle of summer.
The technicians that installed the A/C system did a good job of removing and installing the old A/C system. They had to come back several times due to having to deal with Choice Home Warranty.
First of all I would NEVER recommend Choice to ANYONE, You have no control over who is called for service, what parts are installed or when.
The only complaints I would have is communication, long story short, it took about 90days from the day my A/C went out until the day they installed the system.
First as I said before, no control over what brand/ parts to be installed.
After Choice sent out the techs to diagnose the system it was determined the whole system needs replacement.
Choice would pay for the compressor unit but, I was to pay 600.00 for the air handler as well as 1100.00 to Comfort Pro for installing the air handler.
The day to install came and tech realized wrong system was ordered. Would not fit in the closet handler was in, so now they had to get with choice and figure it out.
That's where the communication fell, I had to call everyday to choice before they said I would now have to pay comfort pro 2445.00.
Again no communication, I had to call daily to try and get updates, finally the day came to install, I had the check ready to give them, but comfort pro charged my bank card without informing me!
It *** me off that they did that, but I let it go because either way I had to pay for it, when I brought it up to Rita, she cut me off saying that they would do that without approval, when ever I tried talking to her she would cut me off, I got frustrated with trying to talk to her I had my wife deal with her. I told her to call her but me, and she STILL called me which I told her don't call me call my wife, anyway, the only thing I would say about the tech was they changed my thermostat to a new one programmable without telling me, I did complain and they did come back and installed a new programmable one.
Other than that the techs did a good job, dealing with Rita was horrible.

I was very happy with how Comfort Pro handled my air conditioning problem. The technician was both friendly and professional. He cleaned out my drain line to stop the water leak. He volunteered to clean out the drain in another unit as well. He was helpful in offering information on things I could do to keep my unit running smoothly. Overall, he went above and beyond the call of duty. For good service, I would recommend Comfort Pro.
Ricky arrived when I was told he would and was very professional. He found the A/C problem in a matter of minutes, replaced the part and my house was once again cool. Ricky also let me know that the work was guaranteed for 30 days so if my A/C stopped working in that time period to call Comfort Pro and they would come back out at no additional charge. Thank you Ricky ad Comfort Pro!
