wire repair, concrete repair, blocking driveways, trip hazards, on a condo property
Not to be a pain, I'm condo board member at rolling hill green, You have been doing some work at 324 Rolling Hill Green for no less then 8 months, The side walk had new cement work done last year and is destroyed it has a metal plate over a hole you have dug up no less then 3 times already, People are tripping on the plate that has a lip around it, pavement is all over the cement etc, Look i just watched 5 trucks here today alone never mind the last 2 months, one removed the plate to drain out water in the whole the put plate back over hole, another one removed plate and just looked, replaced plate, another crew just came and removed a cover over your equipment about 2 feet from the hole and placed stickers on some wires, Are you guys kidding me? This project has been recorded for the last 8 months, more so the last week, This is totally ridiculous children fix things quicker. This side walk is insured by the condo, and we have no choice to report this to your cooperate offices with the videp of the wasted man hours on this job, Crazy guys come and do 10 different things of nothing, Please fix the phase that needs to be done and fix the side walk before someone trips and we get sued, then we come after you like i said this whole job has been video taped so you lose and after they see the wasted man hrs and money that has been spent on over time, i'm sure some will lose there jobs, Every worker that comes here blames the other guy! Do the dam job, 5 trucks and one person doing five minutes of work will not go over well with your bosses or the news! We agreed to give another week to repair this whole dam thing, we don't care about your outside contractors and there schedule. or The HOA goes to the news with our camera recording's and a complaint from the Homeowners association's condo boards, This is not right! Months and there is more sitting around for hrs in a running truck the any work,

Today @ approx 905 am at 36st and 7th ave, one of your drivers in the con Edison truck was reckless and very rude. Driving has certain expectations and this driver didn't have it and was also reckless. He was in the car No. 27018. He was a white male blue eyes in his late 20s. I would advise he take an anger management class and learn to be polite. His mannerism was very degrading and really embarrassing to say he represents coned. I do believe it is important you train Anyone that is driving your cars or in uniform to follow certain code. I spoke with the traffic police officer that was working at the time and she agreed that he was reckless. Please make sure he learns for the future. Thanks for your attention to this matter. This can lead to bad things and even an accident or an altercation if it were anyone else .
refusal to refund $1,900
When we bought a house in Bay Ridge, we signed up for ConEd autopay. We were immediately billed for the previous owner's past-due bill, about $2, 500. ConEd promised us a refund check a month ago, but asked us to wait a month for them to generate the check. We waited the month, and have not received anything. I've called three times this week, every time I call they promise to mail the check the next day.
service removal and restoration
My service was disconnected yesterday on or about 13:22. I contacted their call center while the two was still there, paid 300.00 and made an arrangement for the remaining balance.
The representativr was made aware that there are children under the age of 18 in the house, it is VERY hot in the apartment and it is unsafe to wait the 24 hour period they say they have by law. Therefore a call to me prior to coming is required so I can meet them there.
Their field reply called me at 16:48 to tell me he was on his way and i received an email at 16:55. DE EN minutes later saying that they were unable to restore service due to non access.
.I have been calling con Edison since then and have been given a song about dance buy all difference reps. I still have no service and am being told that I have to wait until 3:30 pm for service.
I've been requesting to speak with a supervisor since yesterday, they took my number down but never called, claiming I was " satisfied"
This is outrageous! There are children in the house and no electricity. Having financial issues us not a crime or wrong doing.

telephone pole held in place by my tree
My name is Joseph A. DiSalvo. I live at 16 Dorchester Avenue, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY 10706. A telephoneutility pole that is in the street by my side yard was installed to replace a pole that leaned into the street. The installers strapped the new pole to a tree in our yard. This is not acceptable. We want the rope removed and the pole secured in some other fashion. See photos below

So long story short my family is on disability things have been rough and con ed end just came and cut or power for being late. A women named jasmine Diaz or Sanchez I am not sure which was so totally rude and disrespectful. I explained to her I just made a payment days ago can she please call up her supervisor I would give a payment right then and there to avoid being cut and wanting a big lump sum that is impossible. She kept carrying on about payments and what we did wrong and what not. I get it. But you don't treat somebody this way because they are going through a hard ship. She turned around and told the gentleman she was with to cut our power, and turned around looked at me in the face and told me to suffer in the dark.

I receive electricity services from Conedison and I have a past due amount on my account of $564. My bill is this high due to the fact that I did not have any heat all winter and had to purchase and use space heaters (one for me and one for my son). I received a notice 3/7/18 from NYC HPD stating that the Housing Litigation Division has started a lawsuit against the owner of my building however I am currently responsible for this utility bill. I had a payment arrangement but due to an online payment processing late, they canceled the arrangement and now they are saying I cannot make another one and have to pay the past due amount of $564.06. I tried explaining my situation to them and the representative asked me a series of questions to see if I qualified for some type of hardship assistance but I didn't (I'm not considered loincome). I then told her I am willing to put something down as I have only one income and my rent is $1995 a month along with utilities, food, etc.; I currently do not have that full amount to pay Coned but I'm willing to pay something. She told me I should think about applying for public assistance because they (conedison) cannot help me if I'm not willing to pay the past due amount. Any type of assistance that is out there is solely for low-income families and because I do not fall in that category, I do not qualify for anything. I am not looking for my bill to be paid, but simply some additional time (more than 10 days) to pay out my balance. This complaint does not have anything to do with fraud or identity theft. I am making a complaint against ConEdison for their poor customer service and lack of support for help to a customer who is willing to pay based on her current circumstances. I cannot afford to have my electricity cut off as I have a son and we both need this utility along with gas. If there is an alternate route to find some help in the matter of me being offered a payment arrangement, other than public assistance as I do not qualify, please let me know.

My name is Miriam ortiz and I use to reside in 3227 Seymour avenue, bronx by 10469, until December 19.2017 when I was evicted. I have been getting on edison Bill's in my name with that address since I left . I received a notice stating that a inspector needed access to the apartment for safety issues . The whole time I resided at this address I was paying a high amount due to one boiler being used for the whole house .which wasnt ehat my lease stated and I wasnt aware of . I rented the 2 floor and wasnt aware of this until I had a con ed tech stated that he only saw only line operating which was mined on the 2 floor. And that I was paying for the whole house with my line that ran to the 2 floor .I need a inspector to go and find out why I am still being charged for services that I am not using and havent been since December 19, 2017 . The power dips too far low at times. It dips to 98.8 volts AC from 116 Volts AC. It trips off my TV set and I have to turn it back on. Con Edison was recently working in the neighborhood last month and fixed some of the dimming of the light problem but I can't run my air conditioner this summer. There are too many in service in the block! Please see what you can do to fix this problem!
Line service voltage resding 99.6 volts a.c. - This is too low for proper operation of my air conditioner and other equipment!
power bill
The last 3-4 months, my power bill has ranged from $250-350, after being around $70-90 before that.
We don't run the heat at all, and the rare times we do we only run it to 55-60° for short bursts.
I've attempted to call and try to figure out the reasons for this, but to no avail. My landlord also has no reasoning for it, but it's unacceptable that I'm being charged 3x what I did at this point last year.
I thought it could be because the building runs heat in the entrance, but I was told by Con-Ed that there is a separate meter for that room, so that is not why.
There's no reason for this price spike, and if there is a reasonable reason, I am yet to have it explained to me. Is it possible to have a technician come check our meter and try to figure this out?
I've now spent nearly $1, 000 more on power than I should have the last few months, which is an expense I can't afford, especially when there is no reasoning for it.

I have been without electricity since Friday, when I got the update on the service restoration it show a date of completion for today 3/5 by 10pm, it's 11pm and still no electricity, I have a 2 year old and a 14 year old that are getting sick from the fridgit temperatures at home, it's very disappointed to see that you are given time and not been honored, I think that we are been profile based on our naigboorhood, totally unaseptable!

I asked the employee to put out the marijuana, then he got mad and started cursing at me, making a scene, so I walked away and figured I'll tell my story to the well known company's HR. electrical emergency
I had a water leak coming in from the con edison pipe in the street underground into my basement flooding the con edison meter box.
This took place sunday feb 4th. The fire dept arrive on the scene and turned off the main power to my house and said not until con edsion come to assess problem will I be able to turn it on. I waiting until tuesday feb 6 and con edison never came and then call and said I need to have a license electrician take a look. $190 later the license electrician told me it is a con edison issue. They must come out to assess the problem.
Now a rain/snow storm is on it's way and I will have another flood in my basement because con edison do not want to come out to my home to take a look at the problem. Meanwhile, the fire dept, police dept, dep, environmental unit, and license electrician came to my house and they all said it is a con edison issue. It is tuesday feb 6th 2018 1:45pm - and no luck with con edison. Are they waiting for a hazardous situation?... This is unacceptable! Don't know what to do.

I did not appreciate this, especially since I was kind and never initiated any crudeness. Was driving 11:30 am on February 1st 2018 on Amboy road near Justin avenue Staten Island N.Y. where there was a acrew working. This man was directing traffic, as the sign said slow he proceeded to turn the sign to stop when I was already merging to the left to proceed, I stopped then this man came to my window with his big sign, I saw this as a a weapon. He was cursing at me with violence jumping from my passenger window to my driver window with a mask on his face I was extremely threatened. This con Edison worker told me to back up where I did not have good vision due to the road with trucks and equiptment, I did not, so I proceeded to go forward where there were no cars coming at 1 mile per hour. This Con Edison was still threatening me. I will also be making a complaint with the New York Police Dept.

Major gas leak in front of 51 Greenwood Lane W. Plains, NY 10607 last Friday (Jan 19). My wife smelled it in front of my mailbox and we called ConEdison; and they came with a cavalry of (3-4) FIRE TRUCKS and several ConEdison Trucks, SUV and other service vehicles. This is under your Ticket No. # WG18001235 . Con Edison digged again and found the cause of the major leak coming from a gas pipe that they previously worked on last year under Ticket No.WG16020646.
They've made a temporary repair and they said they will come back this week (January 22, 2018); while leaving the covered gas leak repair in front of my mail box.
My wife stayed home for 3 days with headache. When are they gonna fix THIS problem? And if they can fix it asap please.

unexplained high light bill
Since my apartment has been renovated, I've been getting unexplained higher than normal light bills. I've contacted Con Ed on several occasions. Only thing was said we will send someone over to check the meter. That's it.
In January 2018, I received a letter stating I was put in a program to help me with my bills. Ok so I thought maybe my bill would back to were it once was. The next month I was charged almost tripled. So I called Con Ed again. They said I was being charged double. I paid the bill the month before which was $31.00. This month it skyrocketed to $83.00.
So being that I got no help at all by calling Con Ed, I contacted the Better Business Bureau, as well as 7onyourside to somehow help me
smart meter contractor urinating in public
Today two African American men were installing these new Smart meters in my area of Westerleigh, in Staten Island. In broad daylight, on my residential street one man decided to unbuckle is belt and pee on the sidewalk on the side of my neighbors house! This was at approximately 1215 this afternoon. My neighbor took a picture.
Are you kidding me? I understand that it is legal in NYC to urinate in public- doesn't mean a decent person would do this. You are responsible for this disgusting people you hire. They could've easily got in the "con ed " van that was parked on the corner and drive to a bathroom they are "men", not children. Give me a break. Disgraceful. The contractors that were hired by Con Ed clogged my driveway drain with concrete. I have been calling continuously; the problem has yet to be resolved .Two con ed emergency workers came and checked it out, the fire department was called; it is confirmed that the contractors did not clean up the cement and I've had two floods already . I Cannot understand how Con Ed has not contacted me about fixing my drain. My garage and my apartment have been damaged and it is the fault of the contractors that were hired by Con Edison . Numerous tickets have been submitted regarding this matter. When is someone going to respond and help me ? This has been going on for two weeks. I've never had any issues with my drain. I'm a single mother and my life has been turned upside down over this matter. This should've never have happened . I have pictures of all the damage but I really just want my drain fixed .
