"Buyer Beware" I worked for this company for over 3 years and had to deal with all the legal issues and poor workmanship from the company and the builders they sold to. When ask to complete a home for them and asking to get paid they let me go and have not paid my company, s bills or my last pay check from November 2012 and it is the middle of April. If you are thinking of a new home you would be better off not using Contempri Homes or P & P Builders of Pinckneyville, IL. There is so much more to tell, but not enough room.
Correcting my complaint from earlier. The date for which I have not received my pay from Contempri Homes of 1000 West Water Street, Pinckneyville, IL was November 2011 and it is now April 2012 .
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
As a former employee of Contempri homes of Pinckneyville, IL I am still waiting on a pay check from December 2011. Contempri's owner and President is one of the biggest snakes around. Builders beware of all the smoke they blow. Do not give they your money in advance for your own good and your clients. You will not recieve what you over pay for. Check out their suppliers. When your suppliers put you on COD that is a big red flag as to the strength of the company.
We purchased a home from them in 2013. We have had numerous problems with the house and have been unable to get them to do the repairs. There is always an excuse. At this point it's been almost a year, several things not yet fixed, ignored phone calls and emails and no shows when they say they will be there. The materials they use are of very poor quality and the workmanships stinks. I will never recommend them. I have since reported them to the BBB.
This is how they have operated for years. They get your money up front and them disappear before your project is done. Contempri Homes and P & P Builders both are one in the same. Everyone should get a Lien Waiver from everyone working on your home and a Final Affidavit from Contempri Homes and P & P Builders if they have worked or provide a home to you. This is a document that gives the home owner a recourse to put someone in jail. Buyer Beware with these Guys.
I am a Builder who has had to file a lien on a home that we completed for Contempri Homes and P & P Builders back in 2011. I contacted the home owner before they paid the balance to Contempri Homes and P & P Builders of Pinckneyville IL. They at least at some recourse. We have had this going on for a long time. Still have not been made whole. The attorneys are the ones who make the money, not the ones doing the work. Contempri Homes and P & P Builders are scams who don't care about their customers or their suppliers. Buyer Beware.
