My lease with CoreRedevelopment ends on 3/31
My lease with CoreRedevelopment ends on 3/31. I told them I wasn't renewing in June because of management issues. But in January 2022, they sent me a renewal offer. I replied on 1/26/2022 and they asked me to fill out a form to vacate. I did it that same night, but I didn't have a forwarding address yet, so I wrote TBD. On 2/28/2022, I emailed them my new address. But on 2/28/2022, they said they didn't get my form and asked me to send it again. So, on 3/1/2022, I sent it again. On 3/4/2022, I asked if they got it and they said they did, but only the second time. They said they wouldn't honor my original notice to vacate. My lease ends on 3/31/2022 and I won't renew it. I paid my rent for March 2022 and that's it. They have a waitlist for these townhomes, so it won't take long for them to find a new tenant. I always leave places better than I found them, but I won't let them squeeze me for more money on a crappy home I told them I was leaving.
