I wish I never entered your Klerksdorp store.
Over the years my family and I have purchased a lot from Coricraft in Klerksdorp and in George under the names C. and Fortier. We believe that if you want the best, you must pay for the best.
This time. I went in, and looked around an Thabiso came to help me. I had a list and we walked through things. I told him about the budget and ordered the following:
1. 1x Riveira double bed extra lengtg in Thuli cement.
2. 1x Prince Double bed matress in extra lenght.
3. 2x Cresthill grey pedestals.
4. 1x Bianca fully upholstered slouch with the left daybed in milly brown.
5. 1x Palma console table in grey.
6. 1x Palma dining table 2.4m in grey.
7. 8x Bennet Carver fully upholstered diningchairs with the grey leg in Thuli cement.
It was all just under R100 000 with the dining room furniture being less 25%.
He didn't ask and added cori guard to all the material furniture which put the price up to R103 845.00. I then reluctantly paid the R3845 myself. And thereafter my father did an EFT and paid the R100 000.00.
This time around we waited longer for the furniture than usual we were told that the couch would take longer and when some of it arrived last week on Thursday, the wrong chairs were delivered and the one pedestal were broken. I immediately stopped the crew from unwrapping the chairs and called Thabiso and reported the matter where he said he will phone me back the next morning. He knew he would be off that Friday so, no call. I went in and spoke to the lady there which assisted me.
Yesterday the couch arrived. This morning Thabiso calls me to tell me the Cresthill pedestal will be exchanged next week on Wednesday and that I will have to pay another amount in for the dining chairs.
How does that happen? I was standing next to him when I ordered the furniture and showed him a few times exactly what I wanted. I had a checklist and showed him pictures and showed him the chairs in person. He even took the one chair to the dining room table so that we could see how well it fits and discussed the colour combinations.
I even went the next day and the next week and would double check everything with him and now I am somehow at fault? Now I must pay again for something I have already paid for and are waiting so long for. Meanwhile we cannot eat at the dining room because we have no chairs. We stand or sit on our new couch to eat.
Why are loyal customers treated this way?
This entire experience has just been a nightmare and Thabiso's lack of accountability and customer service makes it unacceptable.
How will this matter be treated? This is not the Coricraft service we are used to.

I would like to add that Dimakatso, the manager of the Coricraft Klerksdorp branch phoned me on her off day to resolve the matter. I appreciate it very much.
