i paid 1600$ to rent my timeshare with RCI but Corporate Event Services Inc. didn't use any of the dates or places i gave them. i tried calling and emailing but no one answered.
These guys are awesome to work with
These guys are awesome to work with. They helped me and my daughter a lot because it was hard to figure out how to use the vacation we bought. We thank y'all so much.
So, I joined up with this company back in April and they promised me the world, but thanks to COVID, everything fell apart
So, I joined up with this company back in April and they promised me the world, but thanks to COVID, everything fell apart. Now, I've been trying to get in touch with them, but their phones seem to be on the fritz and no one is answering my emails. It's got me wondering if we should all band together and sue these guys.
I gotta say, this Corporate Event Services Inc
I gotta say, this Corporate Event Services Inc. ain't worth a penny. They kept sending me offers, but when I replied, they always said no spots were open. I asked for my money back a bunch of times, but they kept saying I had to wait 18 months. Now their phone number don't even work, so I guess I got played. Don't be like me, stay away from these scammers.
This company is terrible and a scam
This company is terrible and a scam. They say if you pay them $1800 upfront, they can rent out your Time Share weeks for you at a profit. Once they have your money, they never follow through. They will tell you they sent offers to you that you didn't respond to, which is totally false because they never send offers. I've called several times requesting a refund, but they never give me one. All they say is that offers will be coming, but they never do! If they call, avoid this company like the plague!
I've been a timeshare owner for over 20 years and had some very bad experiences with trying to sell my timeshares
I've been a timeshare owner for over 20 years and had some very bad experiences with trying to sell my timeshares. On 4 separate occasions, I was promised that my timeshares would sell in a short amount of time for a very large amount of money. Unfortunately, this never happened and I lost a lot of money in the process. When I recently upgraded one of my timeshares over to points, I got a call from Corporate Event Services and was given the option to sign up for a rental program. I had no idea this type of service even existed and after seeing the benefit, I decided to give it a try. I was a nervous wreck for the first couple of months and called customer service all the time for an update and felt reassured after every call. Also, I just had my last week rented out last Monday and I am so happy about it. Just knowing that I finally found a company dealing with timeshares that actually kept their word and provided results, thank you! The reason for the 4 star rating is because one of my rentals took a little longer than the others but it was still done before the guaranteed timeframe of 6 months. So yes, I do recommend Corporate Event Services!
I don't usually write reviews, but I gotta say, Corporate Event Services is the real deal!
I don't usually write reviews, but I gotta say, Corporate Event Services is the real deal! With all this Covid-19 craziness, I was worried about my rentals, especially since I got furloughed from my job. But when I called CES, this dude (can't remember his name, sorry!) was super chill and said everything was cool. I didn't really believe him, but then last week I got an email with rental offers! I called RCI to book the dates and it was all good. And get this, I just got my rental check in the mail! I'm so stoked, I could scream! My family and I are so grateful to CES for hooking us up during this tough time. When we go to Disney, we're gonna swing by and say thanks in person and bring y'all some Texas treats! Thanks again, CES!

I gave CES Rentals $1,800 on 5/21 to rent out 6 of my RCI weeks
I gave CES Rentals $1,800 on 5/21 to rent out 6 of my RCI weeks. They said they'd guarantee a minimum of $1,250 per week within 180 days. But they didn't rent any weeks and extended the contract for another 180 days. Now, both time periods are over and I want my money back for no service. But I can't reach them on the phone number they gave me. It says they don't accept calls from my area and hangs up. I think this might be a scam.
CES contacted me in May and said they'd rent out my timeshare for six weeks to diff companies
CES contacted me in May and said they'd rent out my timeshare for six weeks to diff companies. They said I'd get a check for $700 each time. I paid $1,800 for this service, hoping for a big return. But CES didn't do what they said they would. I didn't know it was a scam until Sept 2020. My timeshare company said these companies are scams. I'm trying to get my money back. CES has diff names and addresses like Owners Rental TXC, Corporate Event Services, Corporate Event Solutions, Inc.
This company, Corporate Event Services Inc
This company, Corporate Event Services Inc., ain't no good. They got sales people who lie and cheat. They said they'd rent out my timeshare, even during COVID, and give me a refund if needed. But when I asked for a supervisor to confirm, they never called me back. I called again and they said they listened to the call and I agreed to everything. But that's not true! Every time I call or email, they just say I'll get an offer soon. They're a bunch of liars who don't keep their word!

CES hit me up about my timeshare and how I can use my unused bonus points and make a little cash
CES hit me up about my timeshare and how I can use my unused bonus points and make a little cash. We did our part by paying them $1200. But all we got back were what I think are fake offers. Like 4 or 5 in a year. I say fake because none of the offers had any availability and our counter offer didn't cut it. Now we've called and emailed them with no response. I'm done trying to reach them and just consider it a lesson learned. Don't fall for their GUARANTEE and if you want to sell bonuses/points, do your own research. I also think any testimonials you read about this company are bogus.
CES Rentals took $798 from my credit card on May 14 for a rental program they offered
CES Rentals took $798 from my credit card on May 14 for a rental program they offered. They said I would get $1,900 per week for two weeks and get back $3,800 within 90 days. But I never heard from them again and can't reach them. When I call their main number, it says it can't be reached from my area. The other number they gave me goes to voicemail and I don't get a call back. I want my money back!
Corporate Event Services took my money and hasn't given it back
Corporate Event Services took my money and hasn't given it back. They said they'd rent out my RCI/Vacation Village property for $1900 a week and I paid them $1800. They said it would take 30-90 days, but when I called after 90 days, they said they had another 180 days in the fine print. It's been over 90 and 180 days now. I've called the numbers they gave me for 4 months and get the same response from a third party answering service. They say they left a message for someone to call me back, but no one ever does. It seems like a scam and I'm not happy. I have emails and a document from them that I signed.
CES ain't holding up their end of the deal!
CES ain't holding up their end of the deal! I'm pretty sure this is a scam! They contacted me about a year ago to sell my timeshare bonus weeks that I don't use. They gave me a good pitch about how if I pay $399 for each week, I would be able to sell each week for $1800. This process would take between 60-90 days before I started to receive offers. My first offer came in the end of November. I needed to contact Interval Internation (II) to find out if there were was availability for the week of the offer... There was no availability. I have received 4 more offers (after phone calls and emails regarding no communication for CES) and everyone has had no availability for the weeks in question. It seems I will never sell my already purchased bonus weeks. I have tried contacting them to get a refund and have not got anywhere. Now I have another company contacting me to try the same pitch. From what I learned after looking both these companies up, this is a SCAM!
Me and my hubby made a deal with Corporate Event Services in Jan 2020 to sell 6 vacay weeks from our timeshare program
Me and my hubby made a deal with Corporate Event Services in Jan 2020 to sell 6 vacay weeks from our timeshare program. Heather P. from CES signed the letter. We paid $2394 upfront and were told we'd get $1800 per week in 60-90 days. But it never happened and we had to ask CES many times for updates. We got our first offer in Aug 2020 but it didn't work out cuz of many excuses. We asked for our money back but they said no and kept saying we'd get another offer soon. All lies! CES can't be reached by phone and hasn't replied to our emails since Jan 2021. We want a FULL REFUND!
Corporate Event Services said they were tight with my timeshare, but turns out they were lying
Corporate Event Services said they were tight with my timeshare, but turns out they were lying. Sara E. from CES talked a lot about my timeshare and said they were partners. She acted like it was weird that Holiday Inn Club didn't mention CES when I bought my timeshare. I found out later that my ownership info is out there for anyone to see and that new timeshare owners get targeted by companies like CES. But back then, I thought Sara E. knew so much about my timeshare that CES must be legit. After talking to Holiday Inn Club, I found out Sara E. was lying and that CES used shady sales tactics. I want my $1596 back since none of my weeks got rented out. But really, I'm mad about how they tricked me into thinking they were legit.
I let Corporate Event Services Inc
I let Corporate Event Services Inc. rent out our timeshare vacation weeks for $800/week (six total) with a $1800 start up fee (it was $2400, but we paid with American Express). This was back in December . Then the pandemic hit in early 2021 and business travel stopped. They let us renew the six-month membership continuously at no extra charge until they could reserve all six weeks. We thought we'd make money, but it turned into a rare chance to get our investment back. I called and emailed six months ago to complain, but they don't have any way to contact them (phone and email are shut down). Other companies contacted us to sell our weeks to business travelers. When I told them our situation, they said if we signed with them, CES would have to pay us back. They said CES has a "good reputation," but we had a bad experience.
CES was supposed to help me sell my timeshare, but it turned out to be a total scam
CES was supposed to help me sell my timeshare, but it turned out to be a total scam. I got a call from Jeanne P. back in May , and she was really convincing. She said she could sell my timeshare at Sunrise Beach Club in Daytona Beach for around $10,000, and that my existing weeks would sell for $1,900 each. I just wanted to get rid of my timeshare because the annual maintenance fees were too much for my family to handle. I paid CES over $2,000 to sell it for me, but it's been 8 months and I haven't heard anything. I haven't received any receipts or links to listings, and Jeanne won't respond to my requests for updates or a refund. It seems like CES just puts weeks up for rent on their site without much information, and then sends people looking for unavailable dates to you. They use high pressure sales tactics and confusing language to make the sale, and I feel like a fool for falling for it. But with my PTSD and brain damage from military service, and our financial hardship, they really took advantage of us. Beware of this company, they're a total scam.
CES Rentals didn't deliver on their agreement
CES Rentals didn't deliver on their agreement. I paid $1800 to let them use my timeshare for six weeks with RCI for companies and organizations at a guaranteed minimum rate of $1900 per week. They said I'd get offers within 60 days, and if not, they'd pay me $1900 per week. I got five offers, but RCI had no availability. I gave CES Rentals alternatives, but they never followed up. I emailed them in November , but got no response. I called them on November 10, but got a message saying the number couldn't be reached. I called on November 17 and was told a representative would call me back, but they never did. I called on November 18 and asked to speak with a manager, but was put on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on. When I called back, the number was blocked. CES Rentals is scamming timeshare owners.
CES collected $2394.00 from me and my husband for guaranteed rental exchange weeks of our RCI time share
CES collected $2394.00 from me and my husband for guaranteed rental exchange weeks of our RCI time share. Purchase Date: February 19,2020, Sales Rep, Shelby L., payment amount $2394.00, Citi Bank credit card used. Received call from Corporate Event Services requesting to purchase our time share weeks to rent for $1900 per week to corporations. I received one email from Shelby L. and signed a contract using DocuSign. I have not been able to reach this company by email or telephone.

Did not deliver on what they promised
Did not deliver on what they promised. Never heard from them again. On Oct 29, Corporate Events contacted me to help rent our 6 weeks of timeshare in Las Vegas. They indicated they had people/corporations ready to rent our timeshare for $1900 / week. They agreed to rent our timeshare for up to 180 days. Since then we have NEVER heard back from them and calls have gone unanswered. I want our $1800 back. They did not have individuals ready to rent as they promised. This was a scam and should not be allowed to continue. I've found multiple complaints from others that were promised to have their timeshares rented only to also never hear back again.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
