I want my money back!
I received a wrong size product from Cozy Winters and after I contacted customer service they gave me permission to send it back. They promised me a refund, but after they received the product back they suddenly changed their minds! I contacted them many times and asked about my money and they said that they simply can't give me a refund. When I asked for some reasonable explanation they said that there was nothing to explain. I have no idea what is going on but I want my money back!
Stay far away from this company
In December my wife ordered a pair of heated gloves for me from Cozy Winters. However, when the gloves arrived we discovered that they were too small (we had underestimated the glove size that I would need) and we shipped them back. When a larger set of gloves had not arrived after a couple of weeks we contacted Cozy Winters and were informed that according to their policy they had 30 days to send another pair. Their policy about exchanging an item says that it has to be returned to them within 30 days. The policy about refunds says that Cozy Winters will normally be issued within 30 days of receipt. The policy about exchanges says that items for exchange are subject to the same criteria as items for refund but we are not asking for a refund of the money. Furthermore, although the web site says “Canadian Orders Welcomed” but we are told that we will have to pay a second shipping fee. I could find nothing about a second shipping fee for an exchanged item on the web site.
CozyWinters.com has really helped solve my snow removal problems. This winter my wife and I will have a much easier time with removing the snow from our walkway. She is really happy about this! It will save so much time removing the snow that we will even have time to make a few snowmen together.
Returns Process Disappointing
My husband recently ordered a heated mattress pad for me. When it arrived, I opened the zippered bag and pulled it out only to find that he had ordered the wrong size. I carefully folded it up, got an RMA, and exchanged it for a queen-size pad within their 30-day policy. A month later, the twin has been returned to me with a statement that it was not in new condition and claimed that they had found a "hair" on it. I opened it up and looked it over carefully but did not find one hair or even a piece of fuzz. It was not used at all. If you order from this company, MAKE SURE you order the right size. I will not order from this company again and I'd advise anyone against ordering from them.

Terrible customer service
I returned a heated jacket in original packaging with all the tags attached for an exchange in size.
the service department tried to charge an extra $50 because they said the item was worn and used. it was only tried on and taken off because it was too big. how absurd. someone in shipping is messing up this company's reputation. i can't imagine this being company procedure. i am filing a complaint with the BBB and writing a letter to the president of the company.i will not buy from this company again.
Terrible company
Ordered heated mattress pad. Control was numbered 1thruHI (approx 10) Had it on once to try. On HI for 3 hrs. Very little heat in center of pad only. Called company and was told to call mfg. for authorization to return. Did so and read off serial model # of pad/controller. Was told # of controller was incorrect cord for that pad. Authorized return by UPS. When it was received by the company I called for my refund. Received refund w/$30 deducted for "re-stocking fee" due to Health Laws of United States. Also due to the fact that they say their Quality Control Div. said pad worked fine and is only supposed to heat in center, not sides. Ridiculous! I will NEVER order anything from this company or anyone having anything to do w/them. I will tell all friends & relatives to avoid them like the plague and I emailed their customer service to let them know this. "Buyer Beware" never fit better than w/this company!
Rip off
I purchased a pair of heated gloves for $350 from cozywinters.com on December 16, 2010. They worked moderately well -- NOT great and not anwhere near what their website claimed --for the first four or five times, then stopped working altogether. By then, it was outside the 30 day return period. I sent the gloves back for repair/replacement on January 27, 2011. It is now March 15th, 2011, almost two full months later. The winter is over, and I have yet to receive the gloves back.
I spoke with a customer service rep, who told me she couldn't do anything, that I had to e-mail the supervisor/owners. I did so and received no reply.
I then called & spoke to a supervisor. I explained that I was not happy with the performance of the gloves even when they were working, that they had broken after only a few uses, and that I was not happy with the product or the amount of time CozyWinters has had them while awaiting repair. I explained that I had gotten hardly any use out of the products this winter and that since it is now over, I wouldn't be able to test them again until next winter, when they would be completely out of the manufacturer warranty.
The supervisor was arrogant and argumentative and basically told me I was out of luck. This company has awful customer service and sells expensive and defective products to consumers without standing by them. There are several sites online which show that many other consumers have had these problems. I filed a complaint with the BBB, and if other people do maybe this scam of a company will be put out of business.
Cozywinters is the worst online company I have ever dealt with. I will never buy anything from them again. Their customer service is terrible. It is impossible to make a return. Never use this company. The more I think about it, the more I think they are running an outright scam
refuse to stand by defective products, awful customer service

Unethical and Steal your money
I purchased heated gloves from Cozy "take your money" Winters.com. Paid 250 bucks because it would help with a medical problem that they advertise in the description. The product failed because they didn’t give proper instructions (now they do) and I was told it was out of warrantee, even though it was their fault it didn’t work and they admitted it. After writing to the management, they agreed to replace the battery. That was 2 month process and since winter ski season is over, we didn’t get to use the product because of that this year. I should have read all the complaints about them before I bought anything from them. The BBB rating is a farce and I will continue to tell everyone how bad this rip of joint is. Hold onto your money because once they get it, it’s gone.

Avoid Cozywinters.com at all costs
I contacted Cozy Winters by email about a product problem. I was called and told to check with the manufacturer which had very good warrantee service and I did. After three attempts with the manufacturer to get a satisfactory product I gave up and called Cozy Winters to ask for a refund since the manufacturer told me I would have to get a refund from them. I was told my 30 day return period had expired and since I had used warrantee “service” I was not eligible for a refund. I was never told at the time of my initial complaint that if I went the warrantee “service” route that I could not then get a refund after 30 days.
They just steal people's money
I purchased an Outdoor Heated Thermo-Kiity Camper and Thermo Cube and had these products shipped to my parents for their outdoor cat's use this winter. They set it up for her (how else can we tell if she will use the product), he set her inside it and near the bed, and she would not use it. She jumped out of the bed the couple of times that he set her in it, and at that point, they picked the bed up, took it back inside, and called me. I informed them that the product had to be free of any hair or dirt and they informed me that the cat was barely near it! They were extra particular about it being in BRAND NEW CONDITION and free of hair and dirt so it could be returned. They packaged it back up in the wrapping and sent it back with the RA code that I received. When they informed me that it was shipped back to them, I thought it was a mistake, only to be told by customer service that the RMA results were unsatisfactory. This is absolutely ridiculous! Do you mean to tell me that if I purchased clothing or furniture from your company, that I basically can not try the product on/out before determining if I like it or not? ..because it is an animal, it's different? I can fully understand if it is caked with mud and dirt and covered in hair...that is obviously used and not re-sellable. I am very dissatisfied with the poor customer service I received in this matter and the absurd claim that this bed was used. I have ordered several pet items online and in pet stores, and on occassion, have to return the item due to wrong size, etc. (dog bed to be specific) and they did not scrutinize the returned item to such a ridiculous extreme! I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and WILL not purchase from them EVER again. Perhaps they should not carry pet products if they hate animals so much. I can see why companies like theirs stay in business...they just steal people's money!
This is a totally obnoxious company to deal with if you have a return. I would suggest NOT dealing with them at all. We have been going back and forth with them through the better business bureau and have gotten nowhere. They refuse to acknowledge their fault in our situation, which was sending us a faulty charger with our new heated gloves, then sending us a new one, and consequently we were after their return time frame when we realized the gloves weren't going to work for what we wanted them for. They have an A rating with the BBB but DON'T BELIEVE THAT LIKE MY HUSBAND DID. They deserve a big F in customer service. DO NOT deal with them!
I bought a pair of gloves with heaters and after the battery failed, they said that they wouldnt replace. After a few uses they said I could buy a more expensive glove that didnt have the same issues. When I sent a letter to the owner, they agreed it was their fault but had 30 days to get me a new item. All the calls and fighting got me a battery, but it took so long the gloves sat in the closet for this winter so I didnt get to use them. Stay very clear of this company, they sell the stuff and then turn their back on you.
I purchased the WarmGear battery-powered heated gloves. They were very useful for the 1st year I had them. Then, shortly into year2 (just after the 1 year warranty expired), the right glove stopped functioning (blinking yellow light and fails to turn-on). At this point CozyWinters agreed to take the glove back on a warranty repair with the warning that this would take up to 30 days upon them receiving the glove. I sent both gloves to them (they wanted both) and expected to hear something back *within* 30 days. However, when I heard nothing for ~20 days, I called back to inquire and was told in a very sassy manner that they the repair would be done at 30 days. I got the same story when I called back at day 29...repair work had not started but the glove would be ready on day 30. Sure enough when I called on day 30, the "repair" was done and the gloves were being shipped back to me.
When I received the shipment, there was a brand new, functioning right hand glove along with the original left hand glove. However, when I went to use them, the left hand glove was NOW not working with the same symptoms that the right hand glove had.
When I called back to ask for warranty service on this glove, they said tough luck...the warranty is expired.
So, if you're okay with you gloves failing just after the warranty period and not having any good recourse, these gloves are for you.
We ordered a battery powered vest and it did not work. Their customer service promised that we could return it with a 30 day guarantee. This person also promised that replacement vest had already been shipped. A week later it turned out he had lied and the 30 day guarantee did not apply to the replacement vest.
