We bought a Portable Outlet backup battery for my husband's CPAP machine from CPAPSupplyUSA. We were excited to receive it and try it out. We read the description and watched the Portable Outlet video to make sure we knew how to use it. When the battery arrived, we were disappointed to find out that it was NOT a backup battery but an alternate power source. We were confused because we thought we had ordered a backup battery. We did some research and found out that this is an older unit, not the newest unit which does act as a backup. We were disappointed to find out that CPAPSupplyUSA doesn't even carry the newest unit.
We called the company to return the battery, but we were told that their policy states that once opened, they do not accept returns because they are medical devices. We were frustrated because we didn't think this was a medical device. It is just a battery that can be used for not only medical devices but cell phones, even outdoor televisions! We tried to explain this to the customer service representative, but they wouldn't work with us. We were very angry about this. We just lost $300+!
Overall, we were disappointed with our experience with CPAPSupplyUSA. We thought we were ordering a backup battery, but we received an alternate power source. I had a conversation with a customer service representative at CPAPSupplyUSA about my allergy to nickel. I asked if she could suggest a CPAP mask that does not contain nickel. We talked for more than an hour on the phone. She convinced me to pay $30 for "Assurance" in case I did not like the mask. When the package arrived, I opened it and found that the mask had magnets on it, which I specifically said I could not have. I contacted the company and spoke to another customer service representative who was condescending. She told me that I would receive a refund for the mask, but not for the extra $30 I paid for "assurance." She also said that I would have to pay for the return shipping before receiving my refund. I am now out $55 for their so-called insurance and return shipping. It was their mistake for sending me the wrong mask in the first place. I am extremely angry. I suggest avoiding this company at all costs.

After completing the sleep study, I was told by the nurse-practitioner that she would send the prescription right to the company. But after a week of waiting, I still hadn't received any order confirmation or emails from the company. So I got on the chat to ask what was going on, and the woman on the other end practically scolded me for not having an order confirmation. Like, come on, lady, I wouldn't be asking if I had one!
Anyway, I called the company and they told me they couldn't send the stuff because they hadn't received the prescription. So I had to make another appointment, wait another week, and the nurse-practitioner had no excuse for why she hadn't sent it. Finally, after another week of waiting, I called the company again and they said they had just sent it out.
But that's not even the worst part. I ordered some nasal pillow replacements and after two weeks, I still hadn't received them. So I sent them a chat and the reply I got was just my order number and the tracking information - which I had already included in the chat! I was so frustrated that I just cancelled the order altogether.
Now, I'm reading all these reviews and I'm really hoping I can get my money back. They're asking for proof of purchase, but I don't have the receipt from January and I never even received the replacement items. It's just really poor customer service all around.
So yeah, I wouldn't recommend shopping at CPAPSupplyUSA. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.
