Moving my domain to Crazy Domain turned out to be a huge mistake. They promised a 60-day return policy and a 72-hour rejection period, but once you agree to their terms and conditions to try the product, you're stuck. Their lengthy and confusing terms make it difficult to discover that there are no refunds after purchasing. Even if you try to request a refund just minutes after purchasing, they simply point to the fine print in their email, saying you can't get your money back. It's frustrating because you can't truly test the product without buying it, only to realize later that returning it isn't an option. Crazy Domain's policies are far from clear-cut.

Crazy Domains Lost 100,000+ emails on Exchange Server 6 days ago & still not resolved.

29/10/23

Called [protected] to report fault - informed them that particular email longer have 100,000+ emails on her laptop. 10+yrs worth of emails.

Wanted proof. Provided a screen shot of unread emails icon showing 80,000+ emails unread

Called everyday since then & all support can say that the matter has been "escalated".

Original Case# OEML-1111286

New Case# S-2417126

Still no previous emails restored & now emails are delayed in the Outbox to be sent out.

Crazy Domains Charged for a product I never purchased

I had a charge for SEO which I never used or had purchased. I called and the person I spoke to told me they had removed it from my account and would give me a credit for the amount. I never thought anything more of it until the end of last year I get charged again for SEO. I contacted crazy domains and told them what had happened and that I want a refund. They told me that I would get a refund and I went through and made sure it was removed from my account myself.

They then back peddled and said I wouldn’t get a refund. I pointed out that they had already said I would. They didn’t back down. Due to this I filed a dispute with PayPal and got my money back for that. I am still paying for website hosting and email.

When they saw the dispute they emailed me and said to remove the dispute so they can refund me. I told them I can’t as it has gone through and I’ve been refunded so they don’t need to anymore anyway. Once again they stated in writing they would refund.

Now I start getting 60+ spam emails to my crazy domain email all of a sudden. I spoke to IT people and they’ve said crazy domains would have sold my email to spam accounts.

Went to log in to my emails to block accounts and I can’t access anything on crazy domains because they have suspended my account until I pay the amount that was refunded. So I put through a dispute and got refunded for something I should have never been charged for and now they have charged me again. They are also telling me that I still have SEO on my account when I was first told they took it off and then I took it off myself. Absolutely awful company with terrible customer service and very dodgy practice

Crazy Domains Charged for a product I did not purchase

November 29, 2022 I reveived an email with a receipt for payment of a renewed service at crazydomains. I didn't pay too much attention to it as I thought that perhaps a domain was about due for renewal. When I looked at the actual invoice and receipt that had been generated I realised that I had been charged for a website builder product that I had not asked for and have never used.

I immediately sent off an email stating that I had not requested this product and that I have never used it, however I have only received a reply indicating that there is a "ticket' raised. Nothing since, however it is Friday so perhaps I am expecting too much.

After further investigation, it seems that after registering one of the domains that I own, the"Web Builder" was thrown in at zero cost at the time even though I have absolutely no use for it, and after three months has now been auto-renewed at a cost of a little over $54. It also appears that somehow I have the web site for one of my domains hosted on Crazydomains too, even though there is no web site there and I did not purchase it.

I have disabled crazydomains from access to my paypal account, and just in time to block the automatic renewal of other things that I do not require.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund - at least for the unrequested and unused web Builder product.

Crazy Domains Web hosting

I have been using and recommending Crazy Domains to my customers as a hosting provider for many years. They were always reliable and the customer service was always good and prompt ... Until now.

Suddenly, it takes forever to get a reply and when one does, it is never Crazy Domains' issue, but yours.

My client suddenly began having speed issues with their site, when there were none in the past. Crazy Domains claimed to have looked at it, and told me that the site was too large and I should engage a web developer. Except, I am the web developer and the site is minuscule.

As soon as they were told that, their tune changed! They began looking into it further. It then became an issue with optimisation. Lo and behold, after they began poking around, the optimisation tool that was always working fine with the site until then, was no longer supported BY THEIR SERVER and I was being upsold a paid-for plugin that would work with their server.

I found another one that was free of charge and was compatible, but the site was still running slow, now also experiencing server connection issues - time outs when in the backend of WP. Then, certain images were not displaying on the site.

I attempted to roll the site back, only to realise that I no longer had access to that through CPanel. I called and emailed them, only to be told that I now will need to PAY for them to roll the site back! In the past, that was never the case.

They were meant to get back to me within the time before their servers were refreshed (before midnight), so that I could have the site rolled back to the time it was working reasonably ok. They did not, and now the backup would be of the site that is not working at all.

A former client whose site I used to manage, had their IT personnel move their site to Crazy Domains about a week ago. They called me, because suddenly, their site was NOT LOADING AT THE SAME SPEED and was constantly crashing. Never had an issue until their move to Crazy Domains.

I have begun advising all my clients that once their renewal comes up, I will be moving them to other host providers. We prefer to pay more money and be guaranteed a good service and a stable service that does not upsell.

Desired outcome: Site to have been rolled back free of charge and a proper Customer Service

Crazy Domains Terrible email hosting and zero customer service from management

My email hosting was coming up for renewal. I had experienced numerous problems throughout the year from Crazy Domains as to be frank their email service is NOT the business grade they like to tell unsuspecting prospects.

Therefore I asked for a small discount in light of the hours I had spent trying to resolve issues from their poor quality service - 15% was all I was asking for.

I spent over 4 hours trying to get through to a manager there - that was over about 5 calls. The financial element of the discount paved into insignificance a long time ago when compared to the time and loss of productivity that had gone into trying to speak with a manager - it then simply became a matter of principle.

Crazy Domains list themselves as an Australian business, however you will ONLY every speak to the Philippines as the owners of the business hideaway in their ivory towers with the false belief that giving scripted responses to the low cost off-shore labour force counts a sufficient customer service. Which judging by the reviews and their poor service rating - this policy is clearly failing. Given that they have taken no effort to alter this in any way, one can only draw the immediate conclusion that they are in this to grab as much money out of it as they can before it finally sinks.

I have sent no less than either emails to two senior management contacts within Australia - both of which choose to simply ignore the emails, so again, form your own judgement on how they view customers. If you want to follow this similar format look up current employees of Dreamscape Networks on Linkedin.

In 30 years of business I have never experienced a company with such little regard for customers as Crazy Domains. [redacted] have proved beyond any doubt that they consider customer issues below them and for me, anyone staff member who thinks it's okay to simply ignore customer issues and requests for escalation simply have not place in the organisation - that is if you intend to run your business with good integrity and a professional approach.

I will close by saying I urge you to vote with your feet and if you have taken the time to read this, then please take my advice and go elsewhere. This company operates with no decency at all.

Crazy Domains email exchange

SUB : BAD EXPERIENCE + NO CARE FOR CUSTOMERS + FEEDBACK TO BE LEFT IN ALL SOCIAL MEDIA IF I DON'T GET RESOLUTION BY 7:00 PM TONIGHT

AWFUL!... STAY CLEAR OF CRAZY DOMAINS...I have been a customer of Crazy Domains for 8 years and have never been impressed with their service.

All I needed was I to move my emails from linux to exchang... thats where our problems started, they suggested there would be ZERO downtime as they migrated the site, but they have failed... my emails has been down for 5 days and I have called and complained many times, each time after an hour on the phone (explaining the full story to a new operator) I was told it would be fixed, and wait for 2-4 hours propagation... but it has never worked since. I have lost a months worth of new business and lost a fortune on wasted & my customers are complaining.

Crazy Domains Charged me then deleted my service

I paid for my website and email service in January 2021, they then suspended my service with no warning or notice and they don't even know why it happened and admitted they shouldn't have. Shortly after they deleted my website without my knowledge only to find out in October they did so potentially loosing 9 months of income! I only found out when I got a renewal email to extend my service but I didn't even have the service I had paid for!
All I wanted was my website back online, they don't have a backup of it so I expect they should create a new website or pay me to get it remade, they have offered neither and just ask if I want to cancel, I now want compensation for lost income I will report this to the ACCC and lawyers.

Crazy Domains No refund possible

I ordered and paid for a domain name with Crazy Domains, thinking I could get a good deal when registering it with a Website Builder. When I tried to link the domain name with my website, I found I could get a better deal from the Website Builder itself. So, I didn't need the Crazy Domains domain name. When I phoned them to request a refund, they refused saying that I had activated it and therefore they couldn't refund me. I haven't used their domain name and, of course, have no need to use it but they were adamant that they would not refund my payment. Their operative was not understandable as she had no real understanding of my request for a refund and was not going to shift from her stance.
UNHAPPY about Crazy Domains. Their practice is shifty to say the least. I would advise anyone who plans to use their services to THINK AGAIN!

Crazy Domains transfer hosting services

I Decided to get Crazydomains.com.au to host my 10 websites. They offered a competitive rate plan of Transfer Hosting, which included transferring my websites and emails with databases across from Hostgator.com to Crazydomains.com.au. They offered a 60 money back guarantee (see attached website screenshot). The transfer was paid for by way of a 36 month subscription for approx $399.00 and an additional $217.00 fee for advanced support. Thats over $600 I paid to have them provide their service on the 26 Aug 2019. It has been 2 weeks and still I have problems with accessing websites and receiving emails. There has been a continuous raft of glitches and problems that have caused the sites to be off line for periods, sending warning messages to bots, continuous messages on all sites that they are not secure, and produce warning messages scaring off readers. Also since moving across to Crazydomains.com.au, I have been inundated with spam emails of the worst kind. Threats of extortion and blackmail included. It has been disasterous, time consuming, stressful and unacceptable - less than what was promised. As of 9 September 2019, I decided to advise them via email I wanted to cancel the service. I phoned their reception on 1300 210210 who advised my refund amount to be correctly $616.00 and I should contact Silverio who was my account manager. I advised him over the phone again that I was cancelling, then afterwareds received emails from other personnel saying their money back guarantee does not apply to services that are up and running. This contradicts their advertised guarantee (see attached screenshot) which is what I signed up with, there are no links or any advice to the contrary provided, only when I attempted to cancel and claim the refund. I have since replied with a letter of demand and await their response. I dont feel it will be agreeable to providing a refund and this is why Im not wasting any time to provide this complaint here.

Still Crazydomains.com.au have avoided any further communication on this matter since coming back with their response - a credit for $617.00 AUD.
Im not inclined to use this company in the future so I dont know how a credit is acceptable in their view.
they also offer up to 6 months free hosting, which I never got even though I paid 36 months hosting in advance. These people are dishonest and need to be brought to account.

Crazy Domains complaint for domain registration

i want to compalin for this website beacause when i book a domain that is a2z.in. it show me that the domain is available and it send me the payment receipt and send me a mail that your domain is registered and you can forward to your server. but after few days crazy domain send me a mail that your domain is rejected. i already start working for this name a2z.in. i submit this domain to various portals and in newspaper also for my new business. i spent 45000 rs. for this domain name in marketing. please help me out.
