Design Space
I have never called to complain, ever in my life. But I was so angry that I did and then, when your complaint service called me back there was no-one on the line. Why is it that every single time you update design space it is more difficult and time consuming to use? Why did it take me 10 min and a google search to find my system fonts today? I bought this machine to make my own designs and my own art and at first I would buy your fonts to make my life easier. No more. I would rather cut off my own hand than pay for your subscription service, and spend 50 years drawing out my own fonts than ever buy anything from this company again. I would rather cut out my own vinyl and stickers by hand because it would take less time than trying to re teach myself how to use this program every time I try to make a new design. Whoever is advising you to do this is a [censored]ing idiot and is losing you customers. I use this machine at a school to teach people with special needs. Every time you move something I have to make whole new visuals. Please stop. No one is going to sign up for your subscription program just because you make making their own designs difficult. They are just going to stop buying cricut. Anyway I'm pissed and I just want someone to know about it.
Desired outcome: Stop. Just Stop being awful. You already made a great product, your software is super [censored]ty either make it user friendly and not focused on a cash grab or stop updating it and moving everything around.
Cricut design space
i joined design space in late april 2022. i have been paying for it for the last couple of months. i had projects that i made and were still working on saved in my projects. i forgot my password and clicked on forgot my password and waited for the email never got it. so i tried again and got no email to reset it. tried a 3rd time and got no email. I then waited on hold for 37 minutes with your help desk only to be told my account was locked and basically gone and that i needed to start another one. when i asked about my projects was told they are gone. so i have basically been paying for nothing because they are gone. got disconnected before i could ask how does the new account get connected to the account that have already paid for. i do not want to get billed montly for the other account and i am not sure if i am going to pay for a new one. i may just get rid of my cricut and go with another company that will support its product and be able to assist customers without saying well its locked and gone. there has to be a way to unlock an account. but my understanding from your people is that i am just out of luck. Poor customer service for a company i paid my monthly fee and have nothing to show for it.
Desired outcome: access to my old account or my money back
Maker has flashing red power light
When I contacted the company I was told to take a video of what my machine was doing along with the case# serial number and my address and email them. So I did this, a few days later got an email telling me they cannot replace my machine because it was out of warranty. I registered and started using my cricut maker in January of this year. When I replied back was told so sorry here’s a coupon. Apparently they decide the warranty and if and when they will stand behind something. I don’t have $350 just sitting around to purchase a new one.
Desired outcome: Would like my machine replaced.
Software updates
This pass 7.11.156 update deleted the icons we are so used to use on Design Space for stupid squares on each corner making frustrating working with fonts or images. I have sent several videos showing how horrible it is to work with these squares, especially when working with small fonts or making cake toppers, alignment its base of the design I am making, so clearly I cannot work with alignment features. No one has taken the time to reach out. I was told they were having users called in stating they do not like it either and they were given to fill out feedback sheets abt that (CSR say when I did call for another issue). After that I sent the videos and crickets! They dont care, they just want to act like they care. And why care whey they have tons of crafters on Youtube sucking up to Cricut saying they love the change, of course they do, they get free machines, products to try, they get paid. Now I am more upset because the change was done in June, but Cricut on their official site post some projects we can do and on 7/8 one of their crafters on DS clearly had the old ways (Icons). So is that an option? Can we pls get them back? Or its just Cricut using bc they know how horrible are the squares. Who's brilliant idea was that?
Desired outcome: GET THE ICONS BACK ON DESIGN SPACE TO MAKE OUR WORK EASIER. ITS RIGHT THERE ALL WE NEED AROUND THE DESIGN. NOT JUMPING UP/DOWN, SIDE TO SIDE.
Cricut Explorer 2
My Cricut Explorer 2 is 7 months old. While cutting a piece of faux leather a little piece of the Cricut broke off. I have no idea what the little piece is or it’s function.
I have tried to call Cricut on several occasions with a 2 hour wait time. Then I tried to email Cricut…no luck. I was directed to a “bot”who took my information. I have not heard anything from Cricut to date. This is such poor customer service. I am extremely upset.
When you subscribe
You pay all year and when the subscription is up you cant use the designs you already so call paid for during the year..I will never buy another cricut
Desired outcome: YOU SHOULD OWN THE APPS YOU HAVE DURING MEMBERSHIP
Maker 3
I began paying for Access in January 2022. Every month since, my checking account is issuing a $9.99 payment. I have not been able to use Access and am billed for each item I put on my project board. I have called Customer Service numerous times and never gotten through to a person because the wait times were 2 to 4 hours. I opted to leave a message and my contact number for a call back and never got a call back.
I am frustrated and want to be able to use what I am paying for!
Desired outcome: ability to use my Access or a refund for the 6 month of payments I made for it
Yes, I just realized that their customer service is bad. I do not feel secured purchasing their product because of this. I am also very frustrated.
Cricut call back/charges for products
I called the Cricut call back center Saturday 21,22. I had a ten-minute wait that turned into a two hour and thirty-minute wait!
I asked for a call back. Finally, I get a call back at 5:00pm that day while I was out shopping and because I did not remember the name of the project I could not be helped. The young lady said she will give me a call back at 6:30pm. I DID NOT receive a call back. I tried to call back myself and the call center closed at 6:00pm. Why would she say that if she could not or would not call me back?!?!?!?
My complaint is I am being charged for flowers that I have used for FREE! for years and I have Assess.
Cricut Infusible Ink Markers
I bought a five pack of Cricut infusible ink markers at Walmart in Warsaw Indiana on 5/11/22 (picture attached), 1.0 Neons - Colors: Neon Pink, Neon Yellow, Neon Blue, Neon Orange, Neon Green
The Neon Orange marker colors pink and after heat pressing on a t-shirt it is pink. I have attached photos of the markers and the tee shirt.
I expected orange NOT pink from the orange marker. For your information I am not color blind and I did not use the pink marker.
I tried to call but there was an hour and a half wait time.

Cricut Maker 3
Please do not purchase this device. I will be returning this thing as soon as possible. At first I thought this was a very good investment but I discovered the deal breakers after I made my purchase. The company tries to hide what people are saying about it unless it's something they want to be talked about. Here are the cons:
1. Requires a connection to the internet. If your internet goes out and you don't already have the required software opened up, it's a complete waste of space in your office/living room what have you.
2. You cannot move your project files around - you are forced into uploading your work to the cloud. There is an offline option but a copy will still be pushed to the cloud and you have no direct access to it without the Design Space software. They also automatically expose your work to the world unless you manually change this. It is not made obvious to you that this is happening - I stumbled across it.
3. Cloud space for projects are limited unless you subscribe to Design Space. Not only are you forced to use the cloud, they started limiting what your can upload unless you pay.
4. Good luck with customer service :)
Desired outcome: Stop forcing the people that support you into schemes that a ridiculous, money-hungry, control freak would come up with.
I agree and the forcing customers to only use Cri Cut materials from their shopping site which never gets shipped to you in less than 24 days and is usually missing items if not half of your order.
sensor not reading marks
I have had my machine for less than 6 months and I am already having problems with it. I cannot use print and cut at all any more. It has randomly decided it can't read the sensor marks on different sides on different scans. I have tried all the tricks and tips to improve the sensor lines and just end up wasting materials and printer ink. I've spent hours trying to make it work properly. Nothing works to correct this issue and I have seen many others complain about the same problem.
Desired outcome: I would like either a replacement of my machine or a repair of my sensor, and for the makers of this machine to repair this issue on this and any other models that has this problem
I am having the same issue, I did get a new machine and again it was a problem.
start up
am running a windows 10 machine with cricut version 6 17 143 and it wont start up just nothing happening. help pls. was working then updated now nothing?
Faulty Cricut Explore Air 2
Faulty Cricut Explore Air 2
I purchased this machine June 2020 and last week it stopped cutting through any of my materials I use.
I have added pressure, changed blades and used a new mat.
I cannot get through to anyone by phone nor find anywhere to that deals with repair/service.
I am extremely disappointed as I have hundreds of pounds of tools, materials and blanks.
My daughters purchased this for my 60th birthday, they are very disappointed too.
Desired outcome: FOC replacement or refund
Cricut maker 3 and Design Space
FIRST LET ME SAY DO NOT BUY THESE MACHINES OR SOFTWARE THEY ARE FRUSTRATING AND NEVER WORK PROPERLY! The program is always having problems either slow, shreds materials, doesn’t save when supposed to, says update payment subscription when you’ve already paid, the list goes on! I’ve spent so much money on the machine, software, materials and all just to be frustrated. Im a single mom struggling trying to start my own little business and thought was investing in our future turns out it’s a waste of money!
Desired outcome: Fix the damn problems or give all your customers money back and quit saying how wonderful this machine and software are quit lying to all of your customers
Cricut Design Space
Cricut Design Space is the software that the owner of a Cricut machine is forced to use with their machine. I have seen some bad software in my day, however, Design Space takes the cake. I would rather stab myself in the eye with a rusty fork than use my Cricut machine. If I would have tried the software before purchasing the Cricut machine, I would have purchased another brand without a second thought. If their was no other brand available to purchase, then I would have spent all that money on rusty forks. I can't even explain how terrible it is. It crashed constantly, bugs out all the time, takes FOREVER to load even the simplest designs, tells you something is saved when its not saved at all, its full of ads for its own "premium features" it wants you to spend money on, just to list a few issues. I would be happier with some average software that came with a toaster than my cricut machine with the worst software ever created by mankind i.e. Design Space. If you want to try Design space, just take your computer and punch your monitor like fifty times then throw it into a lake, wait til next summer and go diving to retrieve your computer, then turn it back on and get to make you a cup of coffee. At the end of that adventure you will feel the same as if you tried Design Space for like 10 minutes. Im telling you, buy rusty forks instead. Im 40 years old, tech savvy and this is the first time in my entire life i have left a review about anything...ever. Rusty forks...you have been warned. If you already have a cricut machine, I pray to god to repair the damage that Design Space has done to your soul. Rusty forks...rusty forks... rusty f...
Desired outcome: I would like Cricut to build a time machine, go back & break my arms, both legs & all my fingers to prevent me from using Design Space. Please. Past me will be waiting.
cricut air 2
I have two air 2 and neither work like they should. I called in september of 2021 about my first one and was told they would get back to me about a replacement device, its now 4/15/2022 I never got a replacement for that one I had to pay out of pocket for a new device because as of october it would be out of warranty. (which is what I think they were going for.) I didnt get a choice but to replace the device as I had orders to get out. I purchase a second device on 9/19/2021 as of 4/15/2022 its now dead in the water as it sounds like its cutting glass and only makes straight random lines for cuts and wont cut my designs. I was told to send in a video only it took them a week to call me back and by that time i was 900 miles away from my machine. I finally get to where i can send them a video with the case number and call back a few days later and am told "your case number is only good for 48 hours, you will need to start over..." WHAT? I told your company that I was away from my device it isnt my fault you waited a week to call back. I spend too much money on these devices to have you play games.
Desired outcome: A new cricut machine sent to my home and quickly, as I have orders to fulfill an now cannot do so.
Cricut Mug Press
Good evening,
i am writing a formal complaint as i have had 3 cricut mug press.
1. Stopped working due to an update or firmware the orange light came on and it did not print on my mugs, i can say i spoke to a very helpful gentleman who went through the steps of trying to get it to work but it failed to work and issued me with a new one.
2, The second one arrived went through the steps of setting it up but the orange light was on went through the steps again with the same young man and no luck, he sent me out another.
3. I have received my 3rd one but this time we changed it to the Beta, when went through all the steps and then said if i could process my mug, i said i would process the mug as i never had one set up and would call him back with my outcome, it was doing the same as the 2nd one and i am being told they will look into it and send me another which will be my 4th mug press.
When my mug press was first working i managed to convince a few friends to purchase the mug press which they did and now they are sending it back due to the same problems i have been faced with. i am happy with the service in sending out the mug press but i am very upset that i have wasted mugs, sublimation and butcher paper trying to get the cricut to work. I have never had so much problems with any product like i have now.
Desired outcome: my desired outcome is to be compensated for the machine at half of the cost.
Cricut Design Space
Design Space is an absolute joke! Nothing ever works right. I have spent probably hundreds of dollars on materials that have been ruined and countless hours from either the thing not printing the images right or the machine not cutting them right. It runs slow, there is not a day that goes by that something is not wrong with design space. I have spent money on a Cricut Air and a Maker and for nothing! What a waste of money!
Desired outcome: It needs to be fixed. I am tired of wasting my money on materials that get ruined.
Design Space
I have spent thousands of dollars with your company for gifts for my wife... I like that my wife is happy doing her projects... you have spent thousands of dollars doing updates that are not really updates ... but back dates, running your product back into a beta machine... now my money is not making me or my wife happy and your money is not working... you had a great machine and in thinking by making your machine better and better and changing it you would have a better product therefore more money... I have one product name for you that did the exact same thing... Keurig, they made so many changes to a great product now they have a useless brand name... change is not always for the best...
Robert Carroll
Desired outcome: I believe you owe your customers an explanation and compensation.
Design space and cricut sucks!!!
This is so unreal! I have to fulfill orders in a timely fashion and it is so damn impossible due to the fact that every time I create and design in design space.. The program just all of a sudden blinks and erases all of the design and I have no way of retrieving it. I have to start over from scratch! This is sad and ridiculous... I am so furious and disappointed at this point! I really think it is time for me to consider an alternative route... Maybe silhouette! Hope they can do better. While cricut is finding other ways to get our money they should consider fixing the bugs with the current produts.
Desired outcome: Compensation! Since I am a faithful monthly subscriber!!!

Cricut constantly updates with usless changes. Nothing to the advantage of the User.
Changes that would benefit the User are:
1. Make the print and cut feature larger for those Users that print larger images 11 x 17, 11 x 14, etc. The machine has a 12 platen and should adapt easily.
2. Add editing tools to the main menu.
a. Erase tool. ( Currently editing must be done as upload and/or using shapes in canvas to slice out an object)
b. Color tool to select existing image color to
match from color chart
