Crown Asset Management I received a notification that I am being sued by this company crown asset management

I received a notification that I am being sued by this company crown asset management. I have never received any phone calls or emails or letters regarding any debt owed. I have no idea what this company is even talking about and according to a case search they are the original creditor. I have two new credit card and both of them are current. Every other revolving account that I own is current so I do not know anything about an alleged debt this company claims I have. They don't even have my correct address in the court file. And to make matters worse, as others have said, the company doesn't answer the phone. I am not interested in having to get a lawyer to resolve this but I will if need be

Crown Asset Management (C.A.M.) has violated my rights as a consumer. C.A.M. has brought upon unfair practices against me by trying to collect an alleged debt through litigation. Fact, under the *** pursuant to 15 USC ***i (b) they have no authorization as a debt collector to bring any legal action against a consumer. C.A.M. has also violated my rights under 15 USC ***j by furnishing a deceptive form to make me believe I owe this alleged debt. C.A.M. has also violated my privacy pursuant to 15 USC 1681a(4) by obtaining my personal information without my consent and also reporting inaccuracies to the major credit reporting agencies. Crown Asset Managements unwilful behavior has caused me extreme embarrassment, a ruined reputation, severe anxiety and depression.

Crown Asset Management I have a garnishment from this company against my paycheck

I have a garnishment from this company against my paycheck. On August 30th I filed for bankruptcy. By law after filing the garnishment can no longer take money from me. My job accidentally still sent a 321 dollar payment to Crown Asset management on Sept XX XXXX. I had my lawyer send the company a letter stating the filing and requesting the payment be returned. The company has refused to respond to the notice. I have sent two emails to the company through their own customer portal and once again they have ignored both. At this point they are actively and knowingly breaking the law. They have illegally accepted a payment that was sent accidentally and have refused the attempts to get it returned.

This company bought a debt from Overstock per my credit report. I informed Overstock this is not my debt, I found out about this debt when they started contacting me. they don't have my signature. They have an electronic signature from overstock that was obtained by my wife without my knowledge it was not paid from my account but hers, if you go back and listen to all of the tapes when she said she spoke to them(overstock) it is only her voice you hear and not mine because I never knew about this account until now. I am a disabled veteran, and this is hindering my lively hood. I never opened this account, and she is willing to sign a sworn affidavit to the fact.

Crown Asset Management I never was contacted by Crown Asset Management, LLC about owing a debt and they sent a summons for me to appear in court

I never was contacted by Crown Asset Management, LLC about owing a debt and they sent a summons for me to appear in court. When I called the company they kept sending me to various menus on their automated system. And when I finally reached someone in their company I was hung up on and I tried calling them back before I was sent to a voicemail.I want this issue resolved as I am a low-income person that cannot afford their lawsuit. I desperately want them to be truthful and honest to let me know if there is any way I can talk to an actual person who can help me prevent this lawsuit from going any further or to stop it as I have NOT received any communication from them nor does it list a phone number associated with me on the summons.

Crown Asset Management Account Ending: ****

Account Ending: ***. April , *** I agreed to a settlement of $400 in monthly payments of $68.00. Final payment made/posted November 30. After ANOTHER review of my credit bureau reports - WHY is the account STILL reporting as HIGH IMPACT & OUTSTANDING? You had NO problem reporting to Debsty to collect. I took care of my part, WHY have you not HONORED your part of the agreement?A Complaintsboard.com complaint has been filed against Debsty also. I DEMAND the account be reported to each reporting agency as PAID IN FULL as was agreed upon when Debtsy notified me; I made an *** Management ACCEPTED. I have ALL the correspondence so, the need to backtrack isn't acceptable. This FALSEHOOD has cost me several credit opportunities.

As I was concerned by the unethical practices by this office, I began to do some personal discovery on my own. I found that the name of office is Rausch Strum, LLP, Crown Assets, and the Law Offices of David Canine. What I found is that this national firm consistently had multiple violates of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. I have also found that they were sued for the EXACT unethical practices in the US District Court here in Michigan in April. But what is MOST concerning is that, the obviously outsourced company used by PPC deliberately misrepresented how payments were going to be applied to the account and that status of the said account. These representatives repeatedly said that the payments would be applied to the account and keep the account from going delinquent. However, this was not the case. When made aware of the misrepresentation of the representatives, it was claimed they did not have any notes of this. However, all calls are recorded, supposedly.

Crown Asset Management Company initiated legal action against an individual born on [protected] with undisclosed SSN and address.

The company initiated legal action against an individual born on [protected] with undisclosed SSN and address. The individual in question has been incarcerated since 2013, and the debts in question were incurred by someone who has since passed away. I am prepared to settle the debt but refuse to cover court fees or costs, as the individual could not engage with the legal process due to incarceration. I will furnish proof of the incarceration for the entire period and request that the company contact me to organize payment, strictly under a pay-to-delete agreement.

Crown Asset Management I was notified by my employer of a wage garnishment on 6/10 filed by Crown Asset Management(CAM)

I was notified by my employer of a wage garnishment on 6/10 filed by Crown Asset Management(CAM). Upon examining public case information of York County General District court I discovered this company had filed suit against me in 12. CAM served a previous address of mine & I was never served. CAM later made a credit inquiry on my TransUnion report dated 8/20, my current address is listed on this report, dated 12 along with my employer information. CAM notified the court of my employer information & failed to disclose the most current address. Despite having record of my current address for ~10 months, CAM has yet to notify me of their intent to file for garnishment. I intend to notify the clerks office that CAM failed to disclose the address information. Moreover, since I no longer reside in York County and I never signed a contract with CAM, the suit was filed in the wrong jurisdiction- a direct violation of the FDCPA.

Crown Asset Management In December , I hired Americor to consolidate a $19,012, loan with Prosper Marketplace, LLC (Account # XXXXXX), that was settled for $9,419

In December , I hired Americor to consolidate a $19,012, loan with Prosper Marketplace, LLC (Account # XXXXXX), that was settled for $9,419.49. Between December and my final payment of $4237.25 via Americor on 19 November to Prosper, they had sold my account to Crown Asset Management LLC (Account # 812PXXXXXXXXX). I was not made aware of this until I received a 1099-C in the mail from Crown Asset, in January . On the 1099-C, it states the date of 20 November , with the amount of $9358.93 as the amount of debt discharged, with Box 6 identified with an F, which states it was by an agreement. As of 24 March , my credit report shows that the debt was "charged-off" and I request it be corrected to "account was settled" or "legally paid in full for less than the full balance." I contacted Prosper whom stated that they can not update my report because they sold it to Crown Asset, whom I have not been able to get in ANY FORM OF contact with since January .

Crown Asset Management I received a summons in the mail this week

I received a summons in the mail this week. I am being sued by Crown Asset Management for a debt that was settled in full. I have a signed contract with *** and proof that the debt has been settled in full. I entered into my contract with *** in 2019. I went to the magistrates office Wednesday and filed a petition to defend. I will have my debt consolidation contract in hand when I go to court along with documentation from *** that the debt was settled in full after negotiations with Comenity. I will have to take a day off work and lose a days pay because of this. I tried to contact Crown Assets directly but did not get a response. I spoke with *** the same day I received the summons and confirmed that I have no outstanding debt with Comenity, it was negotiated, paid through automatic drafts from my checking account and settled in full. They are sending me the documentation to take to court confirming this. I have a copy of my contract with them.

Crown Asset Management This company purchased a debt from a creditor recently

This company purchased a debt from a creditor recently. This debt was from 2017, and was found to be a fraudulent account opened in my name. We contacted the original creditor when we noticed the fraudulent account back in 2019. We provided them with a police report, identity theft victims complaint and affidavit, an identity theft report from the federal trade commission, and a copy of the credit report that showed the account was deleted. The original creditor was supplied with all of this information in 2019, and agreed to delete the account. They had 30 days to provide information to the credit bureaus showing accuracy of the account and they did not. Now, this company is trying to *** us 2 years later after buying the debt from the original creditor. This account should have been closed years ago with the original creditor and it wasnt. This is illegal. We will provide all documentation below for your review and we are fully prepared to go to court if thats what they want. Before buying debt from creditors make sure you fully are aware of the account and its entirety.

Crown Asset Management I paid an debt, and in the attached email I have downloaded for your review stated it would be updated in 45 days, that was 8 months ago

I paid an debt, and in the attached email I have downloaded for your review stated it would be updated in 45 days, that was 8 months ago. I called in today 8 to 9 times asking to speak to a manager after several attempts to have this removed from my credit report. The woman I spoke to refused to give me her name, and also transferred my phone call to a company that was not crown asset manager. I later found that she transferred me to the company that was hired by them to settle my debt. I had already spoken to debsty, who stated that reports are generated at the end of the month, and crown asset management received the settlement letter within the 45 days, and it was up to them to contact the credit bureaus to give notice that my debt was settled. They have yet to act on their part in contacting the credit bureau. If this is not taken care of I will file lawsuit against them in this matter for reasons that I will research on why I am able to file a lawsuit. I made her aware that I had already spoken to debtsy, who has since changed their name to *** and asked to speak to a supervisor on every phone call. she refused, and transferred me to debtsy. I would like every phone conversation listened to from me to her line, and I would like disciplinary action taken against her. I should not have to go through this just to have a debt cleared up that is already taken care of.

Crown Asset Management On 10/21 I traded in my 2016 Dodge Journey at South Dodge for a 2017 Grand Cherokee upgrade

On 10/21 I went to South Dodge to trade-in my 2016 Dodge Journey and upgrade to my 2017 Grand Cherokee. The salesman assured me of the trade-in, and sold me the new vehicle at the same monthly rate I had on the previous. After the paperwork, I left the trade-in and keys with the salesman and left satisfied. 4 yrs later, I was served with court papers for $10,950 for the 2016 Dodge Journey. I contacted the dealership; they had no trade-in record, the salesman was gone, and the Journey was repossessed by Crown Assets LLC. A Crown Assets representative claimed they were contacted by me to pick up the car on 11/20 and retrieved it from my job on 11/28. This was false; it was an upgrade. As a single, retired veteran and truck driver, I have no need for 2 vehicles. I left the car and keys at the dealership, so how could they claim recovery from my job? My car note was current at the trade-in, and I've had no contact with the dealership or Crown Assets about this car until the court notice. This situation seems to be predatory and fraudulent business practices by these companies. I was current on my note, believed my '16 Journey was traded in, and never authorized its pickup.
