crispy crunch blizzard
Very upset that the blizzard that I've been enjoying for years has been yanked off the menu. I hope the company reconsiders removing it as an option to order as it was always something I looked forward to in the summer. I don't know what the point of discontinuing a flavor is anyways if people are buying the Blizzard this just seems to disappoint some of your clientele which I'm sure isn't good for business.

On the afternoon of July 6, 2018 my husband and I stopped in the Midland, Michigan location of Dairy Queen on S. Saginaw Rd. We proceeded to order the $5 box lunch. We chose the 3 chicken finger option. Onion rings and fries were listed together on the menu board, so we chose the onion rings (we were never told there was an up-charge for the onion rings.) My husband thought about the onion rings and asked if there was an up-charge and he was told there was a $1 up-charge. I decided to keep the onion rings, but he decided to take the fries. I asked for an iced tea and the counter person told me all the drinks were in the multi-drink dispenser to the side. While our order was being prepared, I proceeded to the drink machine to get my iced tea. Getting there, I found out there was no iced tea option. (I choose NOT to drink full sugar drinks and can't tolerate diet drinks which contain aspartame!). Looking through the options trying to find something I could drink, they ALL came up unavailable. Another employee came out and said "these things cause us more trouble. I'll come get you when I get it fixed." It had majorly crashed! We were left standing with a glass of ice. Meanwhile our order came out - both with onion rings! The chicken fingers were the smallest things we had ever seen. We ate our meal - without a drink. When we went to get our sundaes, we mentioned we would like to have the drink taken off our bill since we never got it. An employee checked with "someone in the back" and they came out and told us, the drink was part of the $5 and couldn't be separated out. We then asked for an up-size in the sundae from a small to a medium to compensate. After a fair amount of time talking "with someone in the back", an employee came out and we explained our lack of drink and she went to the machine and pushed a couple of buttons and they came up "unavailable"...still wasn't fixed and we had no drinks. She somewhat grudgingly gave us the up-size in the sundae. Needless to say, it was NOT the kind of experience we have been accustomed to at DQ.
not accepting debit/credit cards
The Dairy Queen in Corbin, KY has not accepting credit or debit cards inside the store for the last several months. I have heard that they are accepting them through the drive-thru, however. This issue should have been taken care of weeks ago. There is not a note on the door before you walk in stating that they are only accepting cash so we have wasted our time getting everyone out of the car and walking in only to be told that it is cash only. This matter should be taken very seriously because this store has to be losing a lot of business.

1) my order was 10.14 so I paid with a hundred dollar bill and change... counting the pennies out in front of the cashier. I had a handful of pennies. Apparently I paid her $100.13 instead of 100.14. Instead of asking for another penny, she gave me .99 change. I gave her a penny and asked for a dollar instead. She gave us our ice cream, but forgot the dollar and abruptly closed the window, not giving me the chance to tell her. With the long line behind me I just decided to forget it.
2) There was minimal cookie dough in my cookie dough blizzard.
3) the hot fudge on our hot fudge sundae was indeed not hot at all.
4) the dilly bar was not up to its usual standards.
Overall was a very disappointing experience at the Appleton Dairy Queen on Richmond.
my free blizzard for opening app and customer service in store
I opened the app online so I could get my free blizzard, put in location of the store I went into, said could not bring it up because app is not excepted in Texas. Second of all the employees in the store (altamasa Blvd) in fort Worth, Texas we're so slow & rude in trying to help me, when I asked them about the app. The employee told me to come back when I brought it up, when I told her I was unable to do so she very became very snotty & said come back when you get it running, there was no real manager in the store & another employee from the kitchen was also very snotty towards me. I love blizzards & it was very hot that day. Because of those two employees I am considering not going back in there for blizzards

My husband and I went to DQ specifically because we had a gift card. We ordered and handed the cashier the card. She swiped and swiped and swiped and then handed us the card and shrugged her shoulders and said it no work. I said yes it does and gave her back the card. She swiped it one more time and said your card no good. I called the # on the card and it said I had 15.00. This was unacceptable to me and I would like something done about this.

I picked up my elderly mother and took her and my teenage daughter to celebrate 4th of July with an ice cream treat. My mother and I had sundaes and my daughter specifically asked for a blizzard because she likes to see them flip it. When they didn't, I asked the young girl at the window why and wasn't she suppose to. She rudely told me she didn't have to and she could only flip it if Dairy Queen television ads were running, and according to her they weren't. I told her that wasn't true. She then told me well I just don't have to - have a nice night, and shut the windows on me. I'm a single mom on a single budget, and I was trying to give my mom and daughter a nice day. Dairy Queen was not a good choice.
I went in there and was treated very bad by this girl, service was just horrible.
I went in the store to buy some ice cream just like most people and when I was going to order a girl named Jannette was going to take my order but I was treated poorly by this employee. I did not get the respect and employee should give their customers. I was not greeted like I should have been and I received unpleasant looks by this person. She was not able to keep it proffesional with me at any time from when I got there to order until I left.

Hi I got a birthday cake on July 3rd for my daughters 3rd birthday and when my mom brought the cake home I noticed how terrible the writing was and Birthday was spelled wrong they wrote Happy Birtday...I dont want anyone to get in trouble i was just very disappointed...I have pictures as well my email is [protected]@live.com please get back to me I am not sure I will be getting a dairy queen cake again which is to bad cause we love the ice cream cake thank you Leslie

On July 2, 2018 at approximately 9:00-9:15 I ordered a PLAIN 1/2lb. hamburger at the drive thru . The girl asked what I wanted on it to which I responded, nothing. I paid for and picked up my order. Upon arriving home, I found that there was two different types of cheese on it. I was so upset that I drove back up to the Dairy Queen and told the girl what had happened and to redo the hamburger and I would show her what I was given. When I reached the window a young man was there, maybe a manager. I gave him the hamburger and asked if that looked plain to him? His reply was no. His next question to me was, So you want nothing on it? Right, just the hamburger and the bun. A couple of minutes later he hands me the bag and says, Here is your plain Jane hamburger. No apology for the inconvenience or anything else.
I would highly recommend some training for the staff on how to treat a dissatisfied customer and certainly how to apologize for the inconvenience they caused the customer.

Believe it or not my family and eat dairy queen 3 to 5 times a week. Husband and I always get the large twist cone. The cone is always small. The cone its self is right but there is barely any ice cream. The service has been horrible and waiting 25 min to place our order and get our order. They barely get it right so we go to differant dairy queens. The one on 19 is the worst. The o e on chicago is ok and the better one is in dundee but its 20 min away.

Me and my one year old went to the dairy queen in Decatur al on the beltline and the woman working the front was really sweet and really busy she was doing g what she could and her printer was not working it was printing at drive threw and you could not read the tickets still because the ink was out or something she mixed up a order which Is not a big deal no one was mad and she fixed it the manager however! her name was crystal. she was rude and yelling at her and being awful you do not yell at a employee like that especially not in front of customers there is a time and place to speak to your employees not yell at them the woman up from told her she made a mistake and the manager yelled at her and she said yes ma'am and the manager yelled out dont yes ma'am me you should of asked for help well the way I see it if she would if asked for help she would have got yelled at also! I went through the drive through of Philomath oregon being the only person in line I waited 15 min. I orederd a $5 buck lunch and a kids meal expected a kids ice cream cone. Then the gal handed me my bags I asked if I could have the ice cream cone thinking she forgot it and she told me it was in the bag and slammed the door closed. The cone was not there so I waited another 5 mins at the window hoping someone would help me. I saw two people look at me but never asked if I needed something. So I parked unloaded my 4 year old and infant. Went inside waited in line and when it was my turn I asked the same gal for the ice cream cone for my four year old. She told me I didn't ask for it. I told her i tried but you slammed the door shut and didn't give me a chance. Then she asked me to go to my car and get the coupon off the bag. I told her so after waiting 20 min in the drive through and having the door slammed in my face and waiting in line inside your asking me to go back outside packing my car seat and having a four year old to get a [censored]ing coupon. The whole point of a drive is to not have to get out of the car. The gal completely refused to give me a kids cone! Any where else would have given me one for free just for the hassle they caused. It was the worst costumer service I have EVER encounter. She was a pretty, skinny, blonde girl. The rudest ever. I had to apologize to my four year old for acting out like I did. I truly hope this gets taken care of and no one especially with kids has to go through that.
Oh and this incident made me so angry that when my four year old asked to use the washroom I got so angry at her that when we went back to the restaurant I started slapping her. I was just so angry at them, that I took it out on my daughter. I am ashamed of this. But because of them someone who cannot mind their own business called CPS on me and not my children are in foster care.

My husband and myself went to Dairy Queen in Lumberton, NC on July 1st at around 5:05 p.m., as I approached the door it stated drive-thru service only. We drove around to drive-thru, the girl ask my husband to repeat the order 3 times, to find out that everything called out was unavailable, which was the summer berry cheesecake; as well as a banana split. So therefore we drove with nothing in tow.

I went to the Diary Queen in Midland TX at 806 Big Spring street...I asked for jalapenos on my burger and they didn't add any our fries were hard cold and already brown and like wrinkled at edges my daughter ordered a chicken strip basket and her strips were hard her gravy was watery her fries were also the same as mine I asked for a cherry coke and they didn't give it to me either I live in Odessa TX and our DQ's are awesome over here I thought they were the same in Midland but apparently not never will I go to another DQ in Midland thank you
custom order cake
I ordered my son a birthday cake online, it says to be sure everything/spelling is correct as the cake will be made as shown. They changed the spelling of my kids name!
When brought to their attention all they said was oops, sorry. The quality of people working in these establishments is very poor. We chose a different location to have the cake made as the local DQ is a laugh, still screwed it up. Please do something about the customer service
ice cream cone
My ice cream didn't taste good. It wasn't even cold and did not melt as I held it in my hand in the car on the way home. It was so weird. I sat it on my kitchen counter at 7:29 p.m. and took a picture of it. I took another one at 7:55, still intact, no melting at all. I took the temperature of it when I got gone. It registered 19 degrees F. I proved my ice cream in the freezer, instant 0 degrees. The hole in the top of the DQ come did not even close up after 30 minutes because it wasn't melting. I took another picture at 8:30 . It had fallen over and had melted about a teaspoon of liquid around the solid substance. Again at 10 p. m., barely any melting. I scraped it into a bowl and the next morning at 7:30, 12 hours after I bought it, the thing was a lot still intact. It looks like Cool Whip or something. I contacted the store and talked to the manager. He said he didn't know what to tell me and said I could have a free one. This is not right. What are you feeding us? I thought it was ice milk, it seems like some chemicals or something. It was very disappointing and especially since the manager could have cared less.

Steakfingers were like rubber. Stale. Went to complain and the counter girl told us that what we receieved was how the food comes out. Nothing they can do. Did not offer to replace our food, refund our money. Just simply walked off. Also ordered 2 strawberry julius drinks. Didnt get them either. Claimed there was no one there who knew how to make them. Needless to say we walked out of there with nothing. Not even a refund. Asked for the manager. Manager was unavailable?

My name is Jessica Totarella and I was hired at Dairy Queen on St Charles in Pierrefonds, Quebec roughly two months ago. I was hired by Cynthia DeSanctis, one of the owners. I was repeatedly treated unfairly by her in numerous ways, one being I was yelled at for being on break. Another incident involves her requesting me to call her at 11:30pm, and upon doing so, was repeatedly scolded for purchasing two cakes with my employee discount, at which point she refused to give me the full discount. No longer deeming it fair to myself to have to put up with this sort of behaviour from my superior, I submitted my resignation on June 29, 2018. Upon doing so, I received unethical and sarcastic text messages in return, criticizing my education and values. I have attached a copy of those text messages. I am completely unaware of what it is I have done to receive this type of treatment, however regardless, it is both immature and unprofessional. I hope this matter will be taken into account and investigated further.
