ice cream cones and customer service
Last week we went to the Stayton Oregon Dairy Queen drive-thru and ordered 2 small cones. We got up to the window as someone was closing it and watched people running around working in the store for several minutes. Our cones were sitting in plain view. After several minutes (more than five) my husband looked at his watch and said we aren't going to wait any longer than 5 more minutes. That time went by and still no service.
We then went into the store, waited in line and told the counter person that we had been in the drive-thru but nobody ever came back. My husband told the person that he wasn't happy with their customer service and paid for the cones. Instead of remaking the cones, the person went and grabbed the cones that had been sitting on the counter for at least 15 minutes by now and gave them to him. No "I'm sorry" or any type of apology was offered.
We both ended out throwing our cones away leaving the parking lot, they were melting too much to be appetizing.
We've been to this store many times and the customer service has never been as good as other places we go but it has never been this bad. I don't know if we'll ever return.

I go to D G each week to get large blizzards the last two time it had hardly any Oreo in them and he Hawaii one had nothing but coconut in it today I went again ( because my husband loves them) I told the lady at the window I couldn't hardly speak to her she was to busy closing the window on me and didn't want to hear what I said I had to asked twice for a lid for my drink

Hello. May 4th I visited the Lindsay Ontario Canada restaurant at 430 pm and the womens washroom light was out, and both of the stall doors wouldn't lock! The locks have been broken for months by the way. A little girl and her pregnant mom came in together while I was using the washroom and she kept saying she was scared. I left the washroom and told the men behind the counter that the lights were out over the stalls which was very creepy. He just laughed and said haha, yep. I snarkley said yeah... and rolled my eyes and left as we had gotten our meal to go by that point. When we got to the truck both our bacon cheeseburgers didn't have bacon.. which of course we paid for. Very disappointed. Fast food chains like this are a huge disappointment.

Took 5 minutes for the lady to get my order mind you there was only one car in front of me and no one in back of me. She gets my order I pull up to the window takes another 5 minutes just to even get my card to pay. She give me my drink and the lid is coming off I take a sip of my drink and it's no where near cold it was a HOT drink. I didn't have time to go back due to I work as stopping here before work.

Today my kids wanted DQ so I drove them to the next town over, because even though we have a DQ in Palmview, Texas the veggies are never fresh & that's a fact. Might want to look into that, however the DQ in mission, Texas awesome. But sometimes employees don't leave there problems at home & unfortunately I fell victim to her on this day. She placed my blizzard in cup holder along side with soft drinks to play it off .so that she wouldn't have to flip it over, for what ever reason blizzard was not up to par on this day, & when I asked for another one she went off on me. Drive Thru check1707188 6084 5/1/17 5:09 she stated that she didn't have to flip anything over & my blizzard is mealted due to the heat.

I went to Dairy Queen on Friday night at about 8:00 pm, my sister, mom, and I, all ordered the same thing. we ordered a Large Oreo Blizzard with extra oreos. When we got to the window I noticed that one of the cups did not look as though it had enough cookies. So I made mention to the young lady that handed us the blizzard. Her response to us was, well we put 2 scoops of cookis, and I if someone wants extra. I said well it does not look as though you put 2 cups, needless to say the 3 cup that I paid for. she said would you like extra cookies, as in to pay for more, I said to her no.
Then on Sunday April 30, 2017, I went and ordered 2 small blizzard, and low ad behold when I got home to mine, there was hair in it.

I waited for ten minutes for food in the drive through with only two people in front of me. The fries were cold. The soda wasn't full and the chicken strips were the smallest thing I have ever seen with hardly any fries. They didn't give me gravy or ketchup that I asked for. I had to remind me to give me my drinks. The food tasted awful. I'm not usual one to complain but this was absolutely horrible. The only thing that was good was the strawberry shake. I will not be returning to this Dairy Queen again because I have had trouble in the past but not usually this bad. I will go to sonic across the street. I worked in the fast food industry for three years and the standards of this Dairy Queen are so poor that in my opinion, they should be shut down.

I was at the Dairy Queen in McKenzie Tennessee the zip cod is 38201. When I was in the store I saw in the back the cook spot on my chicken basket and then brought it up front like I didn't know what he did. The name tag said Colton White. I will not be back unless something is done and he is fired. I ws not pleased with this at all the customer seevice was not friendly either. I want that Colton boy taken care of please. Anyone who spits on a customers food is not worth paying to work.

Ordered five (5) items, 2 salads and 3 baskets. Went up to counter, because I noticed others going up with receipts and asking about their orders.
Finally after 47 minutes, I got a call when I had just paid for the order. When we got our order, checked the time and it was 47 minutes.
I know this will not happen again, I will go to other places down the road.

Drive Thru order taker very rude. Was charged for a dipped cone but ordered a blizzard. She didnt apologize and closed the window on me while I was still talking to her. She said in a rude tone you ordered a dipped cone and she said she repeated it but she didn't. If she repeated it the mistake would of been caught before anything was made. I work as a manger in fast food and this kind of behavior is unacceptable.

Dq 46 montgomery 2050 montgomery st. Fort worth tx, 76107 ...This was the worst experience i've ever had at a dairy queen in my entire life. They were rushing us and playing around. They overcharged us for 2 meals. We got the 4 piece chicken strips they charged for the 6 piece. The food was so horrible we had to throw it out. The fries were cold and hard. The strips were hard and tiny ..The size of nuggets...The gravy was cold and thick...The consistency of mashed potatoes...The hamburger was inedible...The meat was hard and cold like beef jerky. This location should be shut down. Disgusting
reese extreme blizzard.
I went to my local dairy Queen and ordered the new Reese extreme blizzard medium size and a banana spilt with caramel sauce instead of strawberry. I was told that they where out of Reese pieces and peanut butter sauce. they offered to add more peanut butter cups. I said sure, when I got the blizzard it was a small and the spoon was covered in chocolate sauce and they passed a peanut buster parfait to my girlfriend. remember, she ordered a banana split. omg. when I was eating my blizzard I found 3 pieces of peanut butter cups. wow, and they added extra. glad i wasnt charged for that extra piece of peanutbutter cup.this was terrible service at its finest. while I was waiting for the banana split, 5 more people tried to order the Reese extreme blizzard.
"royal" ultimate choco brownie blizzard
I just went through the dairy queen in Washington Pennsylvania and order some things, one being the aforementioned Royal Ultimate Choco Brownie Blizzard. Said blizzard had the requested extra "everything" meaning chocolate chip chunk types of things and brownie bits. I get home and there is nothing Royal about said blizzard. There is absolutely no hot fudge sauce in the middle as there is supposed to be. This is the first time in a long time the above mentioned dairy queen has messed up my order, so I'll let it slide. But I hope you people call them and talk to them about it.
not honoring breakfast hours
I eat at my local dairy queen almost every morning. Usually I am there early, but sometimes on weekends its later. The breakfast hours on Saturday and Sunday are advertised as 5-7-11. This means breakfast should be served until 11 am on Saturday. So this Saturday morning I arrive at the drive thou at approximately 10:36 am and they r already serving lunch and told me breakfast ended at 10:30. Mind u 2 weeks ago I got there at 10:55 and still got breakfast so I am very upset with the inconsistency. Breakfast is the only meal I eat thou the whole day and I wanted badly today so I will no longer be contributing a dime of my money to the local dairy queen located in Morristown TN!
double cheeseburger, vanilla and chocolate milkshakes
First of all, was in the drive through and it took 30 dam minutes just for them to take my order. Second of all, it took another 20 dam minutes just to get my ###. and Third of all, the chocolate milkshake leaked all over my car because there was a dam crack in the cup and on the other milkshake, they didnt have the lid on it all the way and it got all over the dam place in my new 2016 Honda Civic. I am not very happy! Its supposed to be a fast food restaurant, not a dam 1 hour wait to get your food and stuff. I used to go there all of the time, but here in the passed year, it aint got nothing but a bunch of lazy ### workers working there that goof around instead of doing their dam job and should have been fired a long time ago. I wouldnt recommend anybody to go there! Id be ashame!
free cones
I say on Facebook that march 20 was free cone day I went into the location near me and was told it was for US only and paid for my two children to have a cones each... spoke to my friends and they got free cones at another location who even had signs put up in the window advertising free cones for match 20 th how does one location say NO and another serve free cones ? Very bad customer service, obviously no communication between stores... I always purchase my children's cakes there every year won't be doing that any longer .
extremely slow service with little apology and a lack of efficiency
I went to Dairy Queen on Kitsap Way in Bremerton today at 11:17am. I ordered a fish sandwich combo and an extra fish sandwich. There were two cars in front of me. The car in front of me actually left the line without getting their order. I was about to do the same because it is a fast food restaurant and the service should be fast. However, I had two very hungry toddlers with me. So, I waited and waited. When I got to the window, I paid for my food - over $12 which I thought was too much. Then I was told to pull over and wait longer because they wanted to cook my food fresh. I was not given an apology for the delay. The restaurant inside did not look busy. I got my food (it was brought out to my car by a staff member who did not seem in a rush to get me my food. He apologized. I received the food at 11:37am. With only one car in front of me, I can't fathom how it would take 20 minutes to fulfill my order at a fast food restaurant. That is not fast food.

After complaining a week or two ago about getting [2] 4 piece meals on two occasions when I had a coupon from a competitor for a five piece meal. The JOKE was that you had the manager call me and explain that they only had a 3 4 and 6 piece meal and they gave the equivalent. Today I went in around 1 or 2 pm and gave them a competitors coupon for a three piece meal. Was told by female they did not have a three piece meal and was talking about me to others and I can hear well. After getting a calculator and figuring it up, she priced it at $4.48 and I gave her $20.48. Waiting on my change, she said can I help you ladies which were behind me. Me in my frustration moved over letting them order forgetting my change. Driving halfway home then remembering my change.I drove back and told them. Some #### pulled register and checked and I had to wait while my food got cold and drink got hot in car. After 15 minutes bringing my $16 out and I told him my food was cold and he said he was sorry about that. I will make it a point to put DQ down and dare my friends and family to eat there again. And do NOT have the manager or whatever he is call me...

Good evening me and my girlfriend had a terrible experience tonight between 7:15-7:30pm at your parksville location. All of our food we orderd was not correctly cooked as in our fries were both cold and white not cooked, browned or crispy like they should be and our burgers were cold and almost soggy like they have been sitting there for over a half hour after being prepared. When we went back after we could not eat our food the girls at the desk didnt know where there "manager/cook" was so they had to run outside and find him and we he came back in all that we could smell was the very strong scent of marijuana coming off his breath and cloathing. I understood at that moment he is unable to do his duties while under the infulence of drugs at work. Not a very smart choice and rather pathetic that someone can mess up a fast food resteraunt order. It was very disappointing to us as this is our one day off work together as we both work full time 6/7days a week 7am-5pm. I hope to hear a follow up about this as it kind of put us in a terrible mood. I would like to note tho that it took him almost a mintue to count out less then $16.00 in change for our refund which confirmed he is under the influence. Red eyes dont lie either. The girls working the till and making the drinks did a very good job fullfilling there duties or tasks and our drinks were delicious. Today I made an order in the dining area at Dairy Queen, here in Shelbyville Tn. Firstly the restaurant wasn't busy other than a few costumers in the dining room as well as 1 person in front of me. When I get to the register I notice the girl named megan already having a bad attitude with me. She rudely handed me my change and receipt. After 10 mins the girl working at the register gives the people that were in front of me their food and with attitude tells me mine will be out soon. Noticing her attitude and the disgusting condition of the restaurant I stayed standing exactly where I was to CONTINUE waiting. She comes to tell me it will be another 10 mins and I had already been waiting 10 mins. for a small order(A HAMBURGER). By then I was sick of her attitude and asked for my money back. She TELL'S "Well if you stop rushing me I'll give it to you" So I stand there Even after doing this it took several minutes for ANYONE to help me. Mind you there were only a couple people in the dinning room and they had already gotten their order and left. The FAT coward of a woman couldn't face me and had the cook come out to deal with me. He was polite despite him being interrupted from his job and asked me what I needed. I proceeded to tell him that I either want my food or my money back. He asked if I had my receipt, and as I was getting ready to hand it to him the girl that was behind the register YELLS I gave him the receipt!" Finally after almost 20 mins I get the food I ordered and wouldn't you know it...IT WASN'T EVEN FRESH! I wouldn't have minded waiting for the food even if it was a ridiculously long time but it was the fat girl having an attitude with me that got me angry. Again it was not busy and there was no reason to be rude and disrespectful like she was... I feel appropriate action needs to be taken so this won't happen to anybody else.
