I had a bad experience with a car from Dan Cummins of Georgetown
I had a bad experience with a car from Dan Cummins of Georgetown. But they made it right, only took them a week to figure everything out. The sales staff was great. I tried to be as clear with my questions as possible. I got a used truck As-is (trade in). They checked the engine light for me, told me what they were and how/cost to fix them. I buy it and while driving home it breaks down (unknown exactly why, locked up engine I'm told, maybe), but I didn't even make it home. I call them that same day. They're understandable and work with me. I have to pay to have it transported back, but they were willing to fix it at half cost, but me not wanting to repair a new (to me) vehicle; they ended up just giving me a refund due to it literally being the same day. I'm out 300$ for transport, but much better than being out a few grand. They basically said to come back and get a new vehicle anytime, I now have the preference of making sure it's serviced & certified, unlike their trade-ins, but accidents happen. On average, good dealership, I think I would go back.
I bought a car from Dan Cummins of Georgetown 68 days ago
I bought a car from Dan Cummins of Georgetown 68 days ago. They sold me a warranty that covered roadside hazard, but when I blew a tire on the interstate after 13 days, I found out that the warranty only covered my engine. I tried to cancel the warranty within the 60-day period, but they never sent the cancellation packet even after I called them multiple times. They also had issues with my military tax exemption and didn't send me my tags. I had to call higher up the chain to get a response, and the county clerk's office told me that the dealership had never sent the lein fee or the title fee, and that the wheel tax they paid was outdated. They also reported that they'd sold me the car for less miles than they had purchased it at from auction. I had to pay over $2,000 to get my tags, and I had to drive on expired tags for days because nobody would call me back. Dan Cummins of Georgetown is not a good business. They were a disaster, and I had to spend hours on the phone trying to fix this and thousands of dollars. Please go somewhere else.

dan cummins of georgetown is the worst place to get your battery changed
dan cummins of georgetown is the worst place to get your battery changed. their customer service is terrible. they had my car for a day and a half just to change the battery. they only started working on it when i went to the shop and stood there. they didn't even offer me a loaner car even though i have an extended warranty. they were so unprofessional. the dealer used to be owned by frank shoop and it was much better then. i will never buy a car from here again.
I went to Dan Cummins of Georgetown to get my 2012 Dodge Avenger serviced on 8/16
I went to Dan Cummins of Georgetown to get my 2012 Dodge Avenger serviced on 8/16. I had already paid to have the AC recharged and checked for leaks. They told me that the condenser had a leak, but the AC was working perfectly fine before they took apart the motor. After they supposedly recharged it with Freon, the AC now turns on the defrost first and then the AC comes on five minutes later. This never happened before. I tried reaching out to *** Cummings, who is the owner or head person in charge of the dealership, but I haven't received any response to this day.
I went to Dan Cummins lookin' for a cheap ride to get me to work
I went to Dan Cummins lookin' for a cheap ride to get me to work. I got a 2000 Ford Ranger for $3,900. They sold it to me as is, so I figured it might have some dings and need some work. But after a few days, my coworker told me the bed was wobblin' around. When I checked it out, I found out the frame was busted. I called Dan Cummins and they said they wouldn't sell a car with a broken frame. That's not safe! Just 'cause it's sold as is doesn't mean it's dangerous. I want Dan Cummins to either take the truck back and give me all my money back or use what I paid towards another car they got for sale. Or they can give me the cash I need to fix the frame.

I buyed my 2018 Nissan Armada from Dan Cummins of Georgetown on Oct 19th, 2021
I buyed my 2018 Nissan Armada from Dan Cummins of Georgetown on Oct 19th, 2021. But it broke down on January 8th and it's been with them since then. They called me 3 times to come pick it up, but every time I did, it broke down again. I picked it up last night and it didn't even make it a mile before breaking down again. I always pay my car and insurance payments on time, but they won't help me out. I asked if they could give me a reliable car instead, but they only offered me 10,000 less for my broken car. I have 6 kids and need an 8-seater car, but since my car is broken, I have to use 2 cars when we travel as a family. They won't give me a same size car because it would cost them more money. They say there's nothing else they can do for me. My car has a warranty for 3 years or 36000 miles, but I've only driven it for around 5 thousand miles.
I got a truck from Dan Cummins - Georgetown, but it was sold as is
I got a truck from Dan Cummins - Georgetown, but it was sold as is. They told me only one glow plug was bad and the A/C didn't work. But when I took it home, I found out that glow plug 4 and cylinder 8 were misfiring, and the A/C actually worked. They didn't tell me that the truck was already having problems, and it was leaking 3 quarts of oil every week from the first week I had it. I've had nothing but trouble with this truck. I think they took advantage of me because I was a first-time car buyer. I changed the injector and oil, but 5 minutes after the oil change, the truck started knocking. I turned off the key, but it didn't shut off. It went through a diesel runaway and blew up. Black fluids came out of the exhaust, and coolant was spraying everywhere. The truck revved up to high RPM by itself for a while until a rod smacked and the truck shut off. Now I have to pay $1XXXX-XXXXX for a truck that needs $14000+ in repairs.
I bought a car from Dan Cummins of Georgetown on 10/15 and financed $15,000 with a monthly payment of $311.00
I bought a car from Dan Cummins of Georgetown on 10/15 and financed $15,000 with a monthly payment of $311.00. But when I went to the finance office, they said they made a mistake and the monthly payment was actually $345.00. They offered me a free 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and a free ceramic wrapping of my vehicle to make up for the difference. I agreed and signed the paperwork without reading it.
But when I received my lending account login information on 10/27, it showed that I owe $20,138.00. I called the finance department and spoke to the same person who handled my documents. He denied our conversation and said that my payments would have been $311.00 and the amount financed would have been $15,000. He also said that I wanted the warranty and ceramic wrapping.
I looked at the paperwork in the envelope for the first time and saw that it reflected the balance owed of $20,138.00, which I would have never signed. The finance officer said he would send a check to Wells Fargo for $4650.00, but it will be subject to interest on the loan and won't be the full amount I was deceived of.
My payment is now $345.00, not $311.00, and they said it wasn't their fault that they incorrectly said it was $311.00. This whole situation is frustrating and disappointing.
