We used David's rentals to stay at the ***. It was all very smooth and easy, and we had no problems. We even got the option for free skins for our magic bands. We saved about $7,000 booking with them versus booking direct through *** without DVC at all. So, it was awesome.

I've been using David's for a few years now and it's always been amazing. They're always top-notch and super friendly. It's a pleasure to talk to any of the staff. They're really knowledgeable and helpful from start to finish. I'll definitely keep using them long-term and always tell my friends about them!

I made a mistake and put in 2 requests for the same vacation dates. I got an email about the second one, but I couldn't get anyone on the phone to explain. I sent 3 emails asking for a call back, but no one ever called. I tried to explain what happened by email, but they kept my deposit for the second request. I know it was my mistake, but I still ended up using their service for my vacation.

I had a deal with David's for a room at Beach Club Villas at Disney World. The booking got cancelled by the seller 'cause the Beach Club Villas weren't open. You'd think it's a simple refund, but David's is not giving the money back. Instead, they're offering a one-time use voucher with extra rules and limits. It's common sense that when you pay $2808 for a room on certain dates, and that room gets cancelled by the seller, you deserve a refund...not a voucher with many more restrictions. I ain't ever using this company again. I suggest you stay away too!

They'll talk to you about the rentals they got. They'll take your deposit and tell you the room you got is no longer yours, days later. They'll then tell you a long, offensive story about how they don't really have any rooms until they book them, trying to make their process sound special or unlike every other private booking company that deals with vacation rentals. They'll tell you that the room they booked for you wasn't actually booked, they just wasted your time by lying to you about what they had for you. Book your Disney World rooms anywhere else!

I think sumthin is missin here, namely a DVC owners perspectiv. I live in Canada and have sum ownership interest in Disney Vacation Club, for which I pay annual maintenance of $2500.00 USD per year. My fam is grown and I discovered David's Vacation Rentals. About 7 years ago. I decided to let them rent out my annual points. This would serve 2 purposes, help to pay my annual dues and to provide families with an opportunity to enjoy Disney vacations at a vastly reduced cost vs booking directly through Disney. I have never regretted my decision. Prior to signing up, I reviewed the rental contract and, satisfied myself that my decision was sound due to the up front clause in the agreement recommending that the owners take out cancellation insurance from an independent agency. No problem, I could pay my maintenance and families could have a wonderful time at Disney. ENTER, the 2020 Pandemic, Disney closes its doors. Disney cancelled all the rentals and refunded the money for their own rentals. No problem, David's renters bought insurance didn't they? NO ! Legally, neither David's Rental or the Rental Owners had to return any money to the renters. Fortunately there are companies like David's Rentals that care about their customers and, yes, Disney Owners that care about families broken dreams due to not vacationing at Disney. David's Rentals asked their Owners to effectively refund the Renters by making future rentals with previously paid funds. I pondered the request for about 5 seconds and said yes. Did my renters lose money? No, not any money they had paid David's Rentals. Did I lose money, NO. However, David's staff and the Disney Owners have been scrambling like mad to make families dreams materialize, albeit after the pandemic. Would I do it again? NO! RENTERS - Buy insurance! FYI. I and support staff from David's have spent most of this weekend as well as many other days, booking vacations for people who paid vastly less money than they would have renting from Disney. BOTTOM LINE: David's Rentals and the vast majority of Disney Owners went far and above to ensure that these families did not lose their precious vacation dream. The first reviewer laid all the blame on David's Rentals. In fact, David's Rentals actions were exemplary and I am pleased to participate with them in making families dreams become a reality. We made a booking through David's Vacation Club Rentals but, unfortunately, due to my sister-in-law's declining health, we can no longer travel. We found someone to take over the reservation at the same price we paid, but they were not willing to be flexible or work with us. It's a shame, but we understand that it's business.

David's Vacation Club Rentals took my money and then just canceled my reservation for no reason. They say they don't give refunds, but that's not fair when they don't keep their end of the deal. They took $5000 from me and I've been trying to book for years. Then COVID came and they used that as an excuse to not help me. I tried to book again and they just canceled it again. It's not right and I want my money back. Don't trust them!

This company ain't right, man. I bought a vacay from them for like 6 grand before the pandemic hit. I even got travel insurance, but when everything shut down, they wouldn't give me my money back. And the insurance company wouldn't pay up either. I'm a doctor and my wife is preggo, but they didn't care. It's messed up, cuz we couldn't even use the service. Don't waste your money here, folks.
