Late evening on September 29, 2023, I arrived in Kingman, AZ. I stopped at one of the Days Inn there seeking a room. I had stayed at a Days Inn in St. George, UT for several nights before leaving St. George and arriving in Kingman. My experience had been positive which is why I choose Days Inn for my nightly stay. Unfortunately, the Days Inn I stopped at was full. Rather than drive to the Days Inn East location I called that Days Inn to see if they had a vacancy. My call went to your central booking center. I went ahead and made a reservation before driving to the Days Inn East location, expecting the property to be as nice as my recent experience. When I got there, I was shown a room that smelled like someone had been smoking in the room. I was next shown a room where the lights did not work. The third room was dirty and filled with large insects. The bathroom was gross. In all three rooms the furniture was old and in terrible condition; the bathrooms were dilapidated, and the property was in terrible shape.
Claimed loss: I refused to stay at this Days Inn. I have now disputed my charges from Days Inn in the amount of $68.52 posted on 9/30/2023.
