days inn deming new mexico
I made reservations for one night stay on June 13, 2018. It was for a wheelchair accessible room. I specifically told the person taking the reservation that my husband was a bilateral amputee. I provided my credit card information to pay for the room. We left California at 8:30 am. When we passed through Tucson Arizona I received a phone call from Michael at the Days Inn in Deming, New Mexico. He told me they had overbooked and the room we had reserved was given to someone else. He offered a room that was not handicap accessible.
When I complained and said I had reserved that room and it was available when I reserved it I also reiterated that my husband has no legs. I was told there was nothing he could do and suggested I speak with the manager. However the manager had left for the day. He called the manager for me right then . When he came back he told me the manager said the road m was given away and there was nothing that could be done. I told Michael a room that could not accommodate my husband (a service-connected veteran by the way) was unacceptable. I subsequently cancelled our reservation for our return stay on June 18, 2018.
I don't know if it is your policy to overbook rooms but if it is then you do not provide good customer service. We were in a car 7 hours from home trying to find a place to spend the night. That is unacceptable. Please imagine yourself in my husband's situation. We came extremely close to spending the night in our car at a rest stop.
Some needs to be done so this doesn't happen to anyone else. For us it won't because we won't step inside the Deming Says Inn.
unauthorized charges
I reserved a room on May 14th, 2018 for 2 separate nights, for June 7th to June 8th and then June 10th to June 11th, 2018. I Spoke to Kasandra who clearly quoted me $68 per night (which was on website) for 2 separate nights. I verified 3 times with her to make sure that's what it was, ($68 ea. night). She confirmed, and said she could only show the night of June 10th to June 11th on printout rather than do 2 separate printouts, why, I don't know, but when my daughter checked out the bill showed $137.55 inc. tax, for the first night of June 7th to June 8th, and that is why I canceled the second night of June 10th to 11th. Kasandra must not understand the meaning of 2 separate nights. I called your Hotel to reserve a room for my daughter because website showed $68 a night, otherwise I would have chosen another hotel. Plus when she checked out they wouldn't accept my credit card info because I wasn't with her, so her friend had to pay the charge. If this is how you do business, I will never use your facility again. Ann Archambo
refund regarding stay at days inn by wyndhamin lebanon valley, pa
I am requesting a refund regarding a recent reservation at the Days Inn in Lebanon, PA. My reservation was Saturday, June 9th. I booked this reservation on booking.com and was extremely disappointed in the state of the room we reserved. After checking in we proceeded to our room. Immediately upon arrival I told my kids not to put their luggage on the floor. The room was in bad shape. I proceeded to check things out and the balcony was covered in cigarette butts and a beer bottle was left from the prior guests. The towel rack was off the wall and currently sitting next to the sink. My daughter checked out the bathroom and stated she was not going to take her shoes off to get in the shower! The mirror over the sink had obvious stains on it and also was not clean. The chair to the desk was broken and had obvious stains all over it. There was notable mold on the caulk around the sliding door and the room smelled musty. We did not make ourselves comfortable and immediately went to the front desk and stated our concerns and then checked back out. I cannot on good conscience make a decision to stay in a room which was obviously not cleaned between guests nor well maintained. I am requesting a refund because overall this experience was unsatisfactory and we did not even stay.
strange smell in our room
We stayed at Days Inn Greenfield June 8th and 9th.
When we arrived Friday night there was a terrible odour in the room, room 209. We put the air on, thinking it was just a musty smell. My sister went to use the bathroom and realized the smell was someone used the toilet, had a bowel movement and didn't bother to flush. She tried to flush, but it was clogged and started rising, making the smell unbearable. We went to the front desk and asked for a different room. We moved down the hall to room 205. No bad odour in this room, but the fan in the bathroom did not work and the bathroom sink was real slow to empty.
When we checked out Sunday morning, we were not offered any form of a discount. The front desk clerk didn't even ask how our stay was.
We are looking for some sort of reimbursement for the inconvenience we experienced.
If we travel to that area again, I will not be staying at Days Inn Greenfield.
no customer service
My wife (who had a stroke 2 years ago and is in a wheelchair) and I just tried to do a trip to butte to visit my sister. We stayed the first night in spokane and then drove to butte. I reserved a handicap room with two beds for three nights but when we got there they didn't have one. We were forced to stay in a regular (small) room. While trying to toilet herself she fell and I just barely managed to get her up off the floor. During the night she soiled herself and the bed. The next day we realized that we would have to go home. I told the desk and they assured me that everything was fine. About an hour ago I got an email from the company we made the reservations with and they said days inn wyndham in butte, montana would not refund any of our money, even though we were at least giving them more than 24 hours notice for the last (3rd) day. So, if you are going to be traveling this summer, remember days inn and wyndham are now only looking out for themselves and not their customers. We should have gone to the hospital after the fall and sued the [censored]. Then to top it off, one hour before we left our tiny chihuahua got out of my sister's yard! They found him (after we left) and we are working to get him home. What a trip...
the overall service
First i checked in and i was going to pay with cash i needed a room down stairs they claim they didnt have one king size so they gave me a double bed that I didnt ask for that smell like weed when i ask for my money back a kingsize room appears out of the blue get in the room no towels and no exhaust fan in bathroom this was the worst stay ever and on stop of that if you live locally you cant get a bottom floor without a credit card smh
room
I staid at your hotel Sheffield South for three nights, the 26th, 27th and 28th of May. Room 102. We found the whole building needs refurbishing, the stairs were dirty and damaged, the carpets and paint work to be redone. Our bathroom was very dated and therefore looked dirty and tired. The most negative part though was the beds. We could feel all the springs in them, but most of all, the base of my bed was so damaged that to call it destroyed is the least. It is just unbelievable that you actually charge customers for such a horrible stay. I attach photo of the bed. My full address is : Riccardo Rocchi, Casa Garello 2, Salice Terme, Italy.

entire hotel
I stay, at days inn on West Northwest get in Dallas. the hotel was disgusting II roaches in room dirty underwear and condoms in drawer of hotel room cig butts in room of non smoking hotel room. was refused towels for my family of 7. housekeeping entered my room after I instructed them not to and they removed my do not disturb sign off of my door. room smelled of cig and staff is very rude and not helpful also didn't not get correct room I booked. will never stay at a days inn ever again!
reservations personnel
You need to train your personnel. What they screwed up was so bad. Multiple agents could not speak or understand English! They screwed up the spelling of my name, did not have correct e-mail address therefore I did not get the e-mail confirmation, had my reservation off of a wrong highway, and my physical restrictions were met so I could not stay at one of the 3 locations that they booked. They kept apologizing for the inconvenience. It was not just a inconvenience, I can not physically walk up stairs where my reservation was. Horrible mistakes!
hotel stay
When I checked in it was 11:00pm; I had a reservation. The first room they put me in had no power. I went to the front desk again and they gave me another key to a different room. The second room was hot, smelled moldy, and the air would not turn on. I proceeded to the front desk again. The third room they put me in I also had to move because it was now 12:00 and the people next door to us were screaming at each other. When I went outside to ask them if they could lower their voices they had the door open. It was a family of 14 African Americans staying in one room. I went to the front desk again. The fourth too they put me in I stayed because it was quiet, and had power. The room was dirty with long hairs in the bed, and the shower did not have a shower curtain on the rod. This place should be shut down. The customer service is terrible. There was a girl named Erika at the front who used profanity in about every sentence she spoke. I feel like this place should be shut down.
didn't honor a discount shown on website
Booked a room at price shown on their website. After arriving we were denied the room for amount posted on their ad. We were also denied the 20% discount in ad. We were told they couldn't afford to honor any of this. We were offered instead a room for more money and only a 10% discount. Even after calling the night before to verify the offer in the ad. This was on Friday, June 1, 2018. We were at Days Inn, 215 N. Sammish Way, Bellingham WA. Phone # [protected]. The room we got was same one pictured in advertised at $75. Yet we were told it was $89 room with 10% discount.

I am a guest and have been a guest numerous times at days inn in attalla alabama on Cleveland ave and the staff makes you feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I was at the pool and they came out and asked if I was a guest and gave me dirty look like I was lying and then they come knocking on our door trying to see who was in the room with me and I told her and apparently she didn't believe me because she had to look in my room. And when I left the room and came back they had came into the room, emptied my trash, and turned my air conditioner off...
Yes! We are at days inn now In South Carolina and they have been the same way. For us to have been here for over a week and a good amount of money has been spent they are being very rude! Coming to room constantly and when the front desk or house keeping comes they don’t knock say house keeping or anything they just come on in! And a few days ago I left to run to gas station and left the do not disturb sign on the door and told housekeeping the room is fine and to not come in. When I got back she was walking out of our room and when she saw me her face looked worried ( she knew she had messed up!) when I entered the room my drawers were open and clothes has been gone through, also my medicine ( which is a controlled substance) that was in a pill holder in night stand was on the bed, open, and pills were missing. When I approached the housekeeping maid and questioned her she got an attitude, would not answer me, and walked away as I was questioning her. When I told management about the room situation and medicine being missing he told me (with an attitude) that I should not have left it in the room if I was worried about it being stolen. I should not have to worry about leaving my belonging in a room that is locked. The staff should not touch my belongings in the first place! I know not to leave money or something like that in a room. It’s common sense but as far as my clothes and such I shouldn’t have to feel like I have to pack it up and take it with me when I run to the store for 20 minutes! Rude staff! No privacy! No wonder it has such bad reviews and the parking lot is always empty! Get it together days inn! It doesn’t deserve even half a star!
awful customer service
They cancelled my reservation on me then made it seem like my fault when I called to ask a question about our stay. Manager (Tom) is extremely rude. Yelled and hung up on me. Other staff is not helpful. Caught one of them lying to me. Overcharged for cancellation fee. Rec'd follow up call from Tom who said he was from corporate. Tom transferred me to other manager Henry. I heard whole conversation that I was not supposed to hear. I was told that my behavior indicated drug use! I was called a crazy B*@ch, how he would have never called if he knew who I was, also to throw me some dog bones to see if it made me happy. Manager, Henry, denied it all when I called him out. Tom picked up the line (since he isn't familiar with new phone system), asked him about what he said... he gasped because he knew he was in deep. He left me a VM about offering me some resort package but of course never called back. Contacted corporate and was told there was no Tom who works at corporate. THIS HOTEL IS ALL LIES!
motel stay
We stayed at Days Inn Hollywood, in Los Angeles on the night of 5/25/18. Our granddaughter is in the Kaiser Hospital for Children with a real bad illness. On the 26th we tried to make reservations closer but everthing was full. So we had to stay at the Days Inn and take the bus 2 1/2 miles to the hospital. That day my daughter received a call from the Ronald McDonald house and we could stay there. We called Days Inn and they would only cancel one day. We went to the room and got our luggage and went to the Ronald McDonald house. I want you to consider returning our money for the next night. I explained to the lady about my granddaughter and the Ronald McDonald house. I'm sure that Days Inn was able to fill the reservation. If you need more detail please contact me. My email: [protected]@comcast.net and phone is [protected]. Thanks very much Roldo Robinson
charged for a second night after we checked out
We booked for 2 night's. It was horrible. As we came in to check in the manager on duty was being rude to people who wanted confirmation that their room was cancelled and they would be reimbursed. She refused to do so. I shoud have turned around and walked out right then. But we prepaid on Hotels.com and it was 11pm. We stayed the first night couldn't sleep some people were outside in the front screaming at each other at 3am for an hour. We checked out at 11 with the manager. Asked him did we need paper work or anything since we were checking out. Was told no everything would be taken care of that Hotels.com would reimburse us. Called the hotel before the cancellation deadline. A girl answered and said it shouldve been taken care of. Called Hotels.com to make sure the manager didn't charge us for the second night. Hotels.com Called and spoke too him. He refused to ok the refund. I Called and spoke too him and they laughed. He said he can't he already charged it. I was 3 mins past the deadline. I wouldnt have been if they didn't tell me to call Hotels.com. These people are a ripoff. They play games on the phone.
disgusting stay at days inn
While staying at days inn on aeroplaza dr in Colorado springs, co. Room 104 on 5-19-18 my self husband and young child experienced, rude sleeping staff at the front desk. We entered our room to find the floors soaking with wet mold near the refrigerator, dirty used needles and syringes under the beds, and next to the pool, crushed up blue pill residue in the bathroom, a turnicate laying on the floor, food trash all over the room, the linens were dirty, stained and burned. We expressed concern to celicia (not sure of spelling) the night of and she said to bring it up with morning staff, after I had to wake her for attention at the front desk. I had to help myself to bleach the room just to be able to let my son walk around. In the morning we brought the concern to the lady that checked us out around 10:40 am and she provided is with corporate numbers and sent us home with 1 of the room keys. I started to share with another (celicia) which I am assuming was the sleeping desk lady that only offered us a 15% back and stated her staff had no complaints. I have pictures and objects to prove these since your staff can't seem to tell the truth and keep customers safe.
Please contact me at your earliest convenience.

front desk clerk
The lady working front desk during the day is very rude and should not be in customer service ever! Worst attitude and always has a smart comment to say. Won't be visiting this location mostly because of this worker. I stay in hotels alot year around and have met some rude employees but this lady was by far the worst ever! We avoid going to front desk during the day because of her
room
I booked two rooms at Days Inn & Suites, 1331 W 14 Mile Road, Madison Heights, Michigan through Expedia for three nights, 5/25-5/28/18. The rooms were disgusting! There were burn marks in the carpets, the carpets were filthy. The smell was atrocious! It smelled like someone smoked marijuana! They charged my credit card but I requested my money reversed and I would go somewhere else! After a small hassle they agreed and now I have to wait 2-3 business days for my credit card to be credited. Because of this my long weekend turned out to be a disappointment! I was short on cash after paying "twice" for a hotel! That hotel needs to be shut down!
