I reserved (reservation # 83829EE017729) a room at 1780 Aeroplaza Drive Colorado Springs Colorado.. 2 weeks prior to my stay May 17th-May 19th.
On arrival I paid my $100 deposit. Getting there late in the evening I was very tired and so was my mother who accompanied me. Little did I know at that time or I would have cancelled my reservations. We walk into our room and there were no bedspreads on either bed. (room had 2 queen beds). One had a blanket and sheets, the other only had sheets.
On the morning of Saturday the 18th, my mother went to take a shower at 6 a.m. There were no wash clothes or hand towels. Just 2 regular towels. I told my mom I would go to front desk and get wash cloths and blankets. As I approached the gentleman at the front desk, I asked for wash cloths and blankets. His response... " were all out of blankets and washcloths." In astonishment I told him I had never in my life stayed at a motel that did not have washcloths or blankets for the paid guest. He told me to come back after 10 a.m when housekeeping was there to wash and dry some. At 8:30 pm, I went to get wash cloths/ blankets. Was told once again still out of wash cloths and blankets. No ice bin either. Used a cup to get ice. Ice machine broke. Box springs/matress doesnt fit frame. My mom sliced her leg open on frame that stuck out 5-6 in. Took pictures of everything! Shot gun hole through screen on window, stained carpet everywhere. Parking lot reeks marijuana as soon as you get out of your vehicle. Pool "under construction". No one there working on it. Light bulbs and some outlets did not work. Our entire stay was a nightmare! What hotel does not at least have washcloths and blankets? I traveled 1100 miles to stay at an unfit hotel! As we checked out first thing Sunday 19th, the gentleman was still there asked if it was a better night. I told him no... how when we went all weekend with no washcloths to wash ourselves or blankets. The manager sat there and would not look at me or apologize. There was another customer in front of me Saturday night complaining bout the manager put dirty sheets back on her bed and this gentleman was aware of that matter as well.
Claimed loss: 2 nights worth of pay here. and now medical bills for my mothers dr visit as she is 73 years old and sliced her leg on a frame that is larger than the bed and sticks out.
Desired outcome: Reimbursment of entire stay. Could not cancel because says have to cancel 24 hours prior to reservation. But how do you know 24 hours before that you are walking into a complete nightmare!! Have pictures of everything .
