Complain regarding my credit card that was blocked by Deem itself without any reason
I've taken deem credit card in September. Everything was fine but suddenly it was blocked by deem
I used deem card on 8th Mar 2022 last time after that I needed to use it on 29th Mar 2022 but it was declined 2 times. I thought maybe it was a maintenance issue. Than I needed to use it on 1st Apr 2022 and it was declined again. Than I made a call to customer care department and he said my card is blocked by deem itself without any reason. Even my deem app also is not working. I said I am paying my dues properly. He said that send a mail to deem. I sent the mail but got no response yet.

Not providing clearance letter after closing credit card , ask to wait 45 days , other banks provide with in 2 days, i informed my situation the them , not listening , very harsh once we closed card then we will be their enemy , and treat like the same

I am complaining about deem credit card charges
I have taken a deem finance credit card and yesterday [protected]) I received a call from deem finance. I have outstanding balance 616.48 AED. Still I have not activated the card. When I tried to approach deem customer care they are responding this is yearly charges which they are not conveying during offer. This is totally cheating type of buisness and I am not going to pay any amount for that... Statement screen shot attached below for reference.
Desired outcome: I want to get confirmation from deem finance to close my credit card and return my check copy which I have submitted during card collection.

Dear Sir,
I, Salahudeen Sabeen C A Salahudeen, indian national, holding EID No: [protected], hereby register a complaint regarding the credit card and open cheques remaining in the finance office.
I hereby inform you that, I had a cash loan in the Deem Finance (old Duniya Finance) amounting 10,000 (2012) and 2 car loans amounting AED 17,000 (2013) and AED 16,000 (2014). Actually, I had cleared all this loan amount before the fixed date. But, after clearance of all loans, they did not return my open cheques I deposited to them in the time of loan. I requested them to return, but they opposed me that they cannot return that.
And after that, the deem Finance offered to me a credit card No: [protected] and I used it and I continued repayment of this amount for 11 months with amount of AED1300-1400 monthly. and my job was lost and income was stopped, for this reason I became some delay in repayment. So, they charged a claim against me for settlement of above AED 100,000. But in their statement the credit card number is not mine or what I used. And I settled the amount through the court by paying an amount within AED 3000.
And after some times, the Deem finance claimed an amount of AED 498,349 in the same card number which they charged before. But actually, I did not receive the card and I have only the card I mentioned in subject.
I consulted the central bank and I complained a case under No: 148040_TON4L2. So, please register a complaint and do needful to re check the card number you claimed and my card number and waive off the claimed amount from my name.

Loan - asking additional payment for loan closure without any reason

This is in reference to the Loan I have taken in 2019 from Deem Finance (for 2 years), Kindly note I have paid off all the installments and completed my last payment this month.
I tried for loan closure and it says that I have outstanding payment of AED 878.13 which is not clear to me. I have not made any delay in payment so far (during the tenure period) and it’s not clear how they charge such fees without any reason. I requested reason but no response so far.

Poor customer service-will take 45days to issue clearance letter
Dear Deem/Dunia Management,
Please advise why does it take 45days for the Clearance Letter to be issued? You can send an email stating that the card is closed but you cant issue clearance Letter? Like whats the point of you doing this? To prove that your customers will bend there knees to you?Be noted that my loan was closed last year and i dont have any credit card with Dunia/ Deem anymore. My credit card was also settled by Dubai Islamic Bank in your Branch!

Credit card closure

Kindly note since 2 weeks I am continuously contacting you regarding my credit card closure letter, but you are resisting to giving closure letter for silly reasons , I closed my liabilities from other banks like FAB Emirates NBD Etc same day I made the settlement through RAK bank , every bank closure letter and clearance letter received expect DEEM finance , while calling customer care says it will take 45 days to get clearance letter , and we are not providing any closure letter , after my settlement my card shows some excess balance of 1176.62 for getting this amount Charge 26.25 and for clearance letter charge 52.50 AED that i already paid , payment receipt attached along with this mail
Here I am asking why you are not giving closure letter which i already closed my DEEM credit card. You provide only a email states that your card is blocked for closure . so this is my question is that my card closed or not , if closed why you sent that your card is blocked for closure and not providing closure letter , while checking with DEEM app and i called DEEM customer care they confirmed that my closed was blocked and closed too , so i ask them to provide closure letter , they are not giving closure they ask me wait clearance letter which only provide after 45 days , so i ask at least provide me Card closure letter ,
so i can submit that to RAK Bank for getting loan already approved , and i already get closure letter and Clearance letter from Emirates NBD and FAB , if you are delaying more , my loan disbursement will delay, i already completed procedure for my family visa and booked a apartment , only delay from your side if it delay more i lost everything include my booking amount and family entry permit will expire , so it will be a big lose for me.
Please try to understand my situation and provide me the closure letter and clearance letter immediately

Credit shield claims denied
I have one credit card with insurance together. and I been paying for more than year but recently I lost my job involuntarily and approched bank to claim insurance and after one month they replied denied mentioning my contract is limited. I am now unable to pay any installment due to being unemployed. when you give credit card with the insurance you know the contract is limited now when I ask to pay you say it is denied, this is fraud, breaching of agreement.
I need solutions as fast as possible.

Complaint about deem credit card
i have used DEEM Credit card only once all in my life, and i bought 141 dhs, and after 10 days from overdue date, i have paid full amount in Jun 2021. And i received a call on 4th Marc 2022 that 1000 dhs insurance should be paid by myself for the card?
Then i called back on 5th Marc 2022 and another customer care person responded that 1000 dhs is not related with the insurance but due to the penalty and the lady over the phone wasn't able to explain how 141 dhs reached to 1000 dhs !
Anyway i pissed off and i did the payment and when i called for cancellation and clearance letter request, they responded as they can provide clearance letter after 45 days ?

Dispute fraudulent transactions

This is to writing you,after 50 days of waiting,I wasn't expecting this answer from Deem Team.after calling many times,the Deem Management has done nothing.i don't understand why this request been cancelled.?since I clearly told about that transaction happens on my card was fraudulent and I haven't did any transactions done by me.the Deem team had block the card ,then issued a new card.what is the purpose of all this ,if concern not accepted..this is to about Deem service,that I have received,I wouldn't be Reffer anyone after all this happen.very disappoint , I will going to cancel this card right away Don't required any service from Deem.

Customer service not responding
Deem management,,you have very bad customer service ..i had raised a request and I was been told someone will call me in 2 to 3 days,,noone called. I reminded customer service on 3rd day and the assured me someone will call me soon..today is the 2nd day again noone called..even the agent who sold credit card he also tried to request internally but noone called. This is very bad,if i will not get call by today i will enter bad reviews of Deem on social media platform,,my reference number is [protected]

This Company is giving as a hard time to get a closure letter from our loan that has been paid off since 2021. We just found that our loan still active in credit bureau report. I have been calling since July 1 to request for a closure letter and their agent said it will be sent with 5-7 working days. These days had past and advised as to make a payment for 63 AED for the letter.
The frustrating part of this is that, it is not our fault that the loan is active in credit bureau, the loan has been paid off and we did not miss any payment before. And now that we need a letter we still need to pay them money for the mistake that they have done.
I want to sue this company for the inconvenience and frustrations that their giving us right now. We need justice for this.

Deem world up cash credit card
I recently got the Deem World Cash Up Credit Card. I was informed by the sales representatives two features of the card as below:
1. There is no annual membership fees and is a free for lifetime card as there is a 50th Anniversary offer valid till 31 March 2022 (this is also advertised on their official website https://deem.io/cards/world-cash-up);
2. This will be a special edition metal card which the company is offering.
Unfortunately, both of the above features of the credit card were incorrect as I received a normal plastic card and then the AMF amounting to AED 525 was charged to my account. This is extremely unethical to provide incorrect and untrue information to the customers to sell their products. I wrote multiple emails to the customer care and did not even receive a single response. I also contacted their customer care number and they informed me that the fees has been correctly charged as they were completely unaware of their own offers published online. I am attaching screenshots of Deem’s official websites confirming the offer.
Desired outcome: I would like to get the AMF reversed and cancel the credit card.
I have read through many people comments, most of them are complaining on same kind of overpayments are paid, am planning to take the Global up/world up credit card from the same financial institute and now I got some idea to take the right decision.

Reversal of over the limit charged
I have a complaint with my Deem Credit card. Last year January 3, 2021 Deem charged me 200 dirhams for annual fee. Same year December 27, 2021 Deem charged me again 200 dirhams for annual fee. How come they charged twice credit card annual fee? Because of charges I exceeded my credit card limit and charged me over the limit fee of 325 dirhams. I file a complaint December 30, 2021 file # ([protected]) until now no response inspire CEO continuing follow up to customer care dept. They told me they will have an answer to my complaint 8 working days but until now 17 working days no response.

Worst Banking service
I have applied for easy pay in deem credit card and I am facing one of the worst banking service in the entire UAE. Customer care people are not sure about the status and they will give false commitments every time. Amount is deducted from my deem credit card on 30th December and still it is not credited to my account. When I check with customer care they are saying its already transferred from our end you please check with your recipient bank. My recipient bank is asking for swift copy for the confirmation. When I asked for swift copy they said they need half an hour time. Its been 1 and half day now, still they didn't provide swift copy and agent is not picking my call.
Deem credit card
I am having a deem credit card . And I was informed by the sales executive that it is free for life. but I after one year I was charged with the annual charges of 213 Dhs. And i paid that amount from my ENBD account before the due date. And few days after i got a call saying that the payment got rejected because i paid through ENBD Online banking. And when i spoke to ENBD customer service they said it is under process. After a months time i got the refund from ENBD and the due amount got doubled. I called the DEEM customer service regarding this and they asked me to send them the details of the payment such as receipt of the payment and screenshots. I send the all the required details many time s, weeks passed nothing was resolved and I didn't receive any communication from them. Again I am charged due amount. 2 days ago after waiting for about 50mins on call i spoke to this guy from deem collections. As he adviced i payed the amount again to Deem's ADCB account. What he said was 'Once this payment is done we will waive off the balance amount as the documents that i submitted is legit and im eligible for it. And said he will monitor my payment and get back to me afterwards. Till now there is no response or reply as my payment was successful. And i got this months statement last day saying that my due amount is AED 900.
i mean this is really bad. Customer service is so bad that we spend hours waiting on calls just to talk to them to explian about our issue. I have never faced such a bad experience with any other bank.

Loan repayment
I now understand why Deem Finance formerly known as Dunia deliberately and categorically refuses to show clients the terms and conditions of their loan before disbursement of funds.
It is SO THAT THEY CAN FLEECE YOU as they wish. Every attempt and request to let me know the terms and conditions were not honoured and now I get to know that I am bound to something that I never bargained for.
I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO ANYONE!
Breakdown of loan payment
I Have Multiple times requested for BreakDown of my Loan Payment. there are irregularities in the Payment & interest as per what was told to me.
I was told about Insurance Cover, which current staff denies and says, there is nothing like that.

One of deem finance employee called me for credit card and told me that I can get low interest loan after credit card approved
I agreed and apple for the credit card then I came to know that their loan interest rates are very high
so before completing the final email verification I told them I don't need credit card but they insist me to do the email verification but I didn't approved it.
Then the sales guy told me "he will loose his job its month end bagged me to do the final email verification" but I didn't do it
now after 3 days I got the message from Emirate Post about deem credit card delivery.
I have clearly told them that I don't need credit card any more but still they initiated without my final approval
Deem Double Secure Cancellation
When I got the titanium credit card, firstly I call the Mr.Charlie for cancelling the deem Double Secure and he routed the call to customer care and from there I got a call and I requested to cancel the deem Double Secure and he confirmed that request is initiated .. and after two days I called the customer care and asked for the request status they said it's already cancelled.. but still I didn't get any acknowledgement from them I requested many times to send the mail but they didn't send a single mail. Now I got my first statement and they charged me already for deem double secure ...how it's possible...the salesman said there's no charging on double secure ..but I read the documentatin for charges I found myself and requested to cancel the deem Double Secure...it's cancelled already! Then why the hell are they charging on my outstanding...what I can do for this...
