They prey on the weak and don't look out for the clients' financial well-being
They prey on the weak and don't look out for the clients' financial well-being. They are just looking to make a sale and meet numbers. They don't believe in doing the right thing.
I have a complaint about DeLand Kia
I have a complaint about DeLand Kia. I purchased a brand-new 2022 Kia Nyro, but I'm experiencing issues with it. I've reported the problems to Kia's main office and the complaint department, and I've even visited the dealer in person. Unfortunately, they have not been able to fix the car to my satisfaction. Based on my experience, I would advise against buying a car from DeLand Kia.
DeLand Kia dealership said they put an $1100 WRAP on my used car, but it looks like they just ran it through a car wash
DeLand Kia dealership said they put an $1100 WRAP on my used car, but it looks like they just ran it through a car wash. They claimed that nothing would stick to the car's body, but I can't keep it clean even though it just sits in the carport. They also mentioned that they have a couple of places to install a trailer hitch on the car, but after the sale, they only work with U-Haul and due to COVID, I can't find a hitch anywhere. I managed to find a hitch myself, but they refused to pay for it even though they gave me a "We Owe" letter during the sale. On top of that, they sold me three warranties that were supposed to cover everything, but they wouldn't replace the wiper blades, which cost $3576.
I went to DeLand Kia to check out a Kia Stinger
I went to DeLand Kia to check out a Kia Stinger. I took the car for a test drive and noticed some problems. I told them I wouldn't buy it with those issues. They assured me the problems could be fixed. Reluctantly, I agreed to purchase the car. While waiting for financing approval, I changed my mind and decided against buying it. I informed my salesperson, but he passed me around to different people, avoiding my concern. When I reached the financing department, I told the guy twice that I didn't want to buy the car. He insisted it was too late and I had to buy it. Even though I hadn't signed any loan documents, they wouldn't let me back out. The next day, I called two other dealerships and learned that I could walk away at any time. I immediately contacted the General Manager to try and get my car back, but they refused. They tried to make me trade my car for one that was $20,000 cheaper, claiming it was a fair deal. They took advantage of my lack of knowledge about my rights and managed to make a sale. Not only did I end up with a car I don't like, but they never fixed the original issues. I've gone back three times to get the problems resolved, but each time they couldn't help me. The service team is completely incompetent.
I would have given it a zero, but I couldn't
I would have given it a zero, but I couldn't. I drove all the way to Deland from Orlando about a car. They set me up with a sales guy named Roberto Casanova, and he was so pushy, rude, and unprofessional. I cried! I am a 60-year-old lady who wanted to trade in my 2019 Mirage for a Kia Soul. Well, he showed me one that I liked, and it said $23,000 on the sticker. To make a long story short, he asked me for my keys to my car. Well, my car is keyless and in the car, and I told him it doesn't use a key. All of a sudden, he jumps up and says, "I ain't dealing with this!" I was terrified. I never had someone talk or act like that. He says, "Put your initials here," and he drew a line. I said, "No, I am not initialing anything. I don't understand what you want me to initial for. You're going way too fast." And he storms out. So, I said, "OMG," and I got up and left. While on my way out, four guys were sitting there, and he was yelling about me. I ran. I was so shocked. I drove away to a safe spot and called to talk to a manager. I said, "I just wanted to know WHY he behaved the way he did to me." I told him my car is keyless, and he said he wanted to make it up to me. He told me to come back. I said, "No, thank you. No one should be treated like that. I am someone's mother and grandmother, and I will take my business elsewhere." I would never recommend Deland Kia and their rude, pushy tactics to pressure people. I am an honest and caring person and didn't need him to take whatever he was dealing with out on me! No, thank you.
If I could give 1 star I would
If I could give 1 star I would. This is going to be a little long but it is worth the read. I had taken my 2019 Kia Forte for repairs due to an indicator light coming on. They had tried to fix it to no avail. They advised allowing a mechanic to take it overnight as the light only came on during the very early mornings. I was told the mechanic would be able to hook it up to a diagnostic when the light came on to read the code. Which was a lie. I dropped it off and still no word a week later. I called them to find out what was going on. I talked to Noah, the service adviser. He said they weren't able to get the light to come on and to allow him to drive it home and he would see if the light would come on. I talked to Noah on a Thursday. So the following Tuesday I called and spoke with Noah again. He advised he was not able to get the light to come on. I told him I would be there after work to get my car. I returned the loaner car and went to get into mine. MY CAR WAS A WRECK INSIDE! Dirt and sand ALL over the interior. Even on my seats! I had only had my car for 3 months and only drove it to work. I would never allow my car to get that dirty. I went inside and asked the guy at the counter (Noah was nowhere to be found at that time) what happened to my car. He said he would have them vacuum it out. Fine. They bring my car back in a few minutes. I asked him what about the back considering there was sand and dirt all over the seats and floor. The few things I had on my seat had been pushed to the floor and were trampled on and now dirty as well. The radio station changed to rap. All of my settings for the car had been changed to his liking. They took it back and vacuumed the back. I talked to the service manager and he said "there must have been a sand storm". Really?! I am searching my brain trying to figure out what could have caused my car to get so dirty. I go to get in my car and on the dash I find a receipt. Noah had taken my car out joyriding. Had taken 4 of his friends to the park. That is why it was so dirty. I dropped my car off with almost a full tank of gas and got it back empty. I talked to the service manager again and had shown him the receipt, proof of the kids joyriding along with friends in my car. I confronted Noah and asked him why he would take my car to the park and he said "just putting miles on it". That was his answer to me in front of the manager. All he did was offer me a detail on my car and said he would put gas in my car. Didn't even fill it up. I called the store the next day and Noah was still working there. When I went to get the gas for my car, one of the employees had covered his name badge with tape when I walked in. Mocking me. Is this how they treat their customers? Why would they allow a service adviser to take my car home if there was nothing he could do to fix it? Even the manager said he doesn't know why he would take the car. When the service manager spoke to the general manager, the GM didn't care that my car had been taken out for a "fun in the sun" day with this kid's friends. I have worked VERY hard in my life to have what I have. So I ask you, would you trust leaving your car in the hands of a company who does not care what happens to your car? Also, still employ someone who blatantly disrespects their customer? They have truly lost my business forever. Including my friends and family, and their friends and family. I HIGHLY recommend doing your research and finding a reputable company for any of your car's services, including oil changes.
I haven't bought a car from DeLand Kia, but I have used their service department
I haven't bought a car from DeLand Kia, but I have used their service department. I got my 2017 Kia Cadenza from Carmax with 3,400 miles on it. Two months later, we found out that the passenger seat heater wasn't working. Since it was still under warranty, I took it to DeLand Kia. It took two weeks to schedule an appointment, and when I brought it in, they diagnosed it as a faulty switch. Unfortunately, they didn't have the part in stock, so they had to order it. I had to wait another two weeks for the next appointment. They replaced the switch, and it seemed fine when I tested it. However, when my husband turned it on during a test drive, it turned off after just three minutes. I called the service department to let them know, and once again, I had to wait two weeks for an appointment. This time, they diagnosed it as a faulty heater inside the passenger seat. They had to order the part and take the whole seat apart, which meant another two-week wait. They told me it would only take a few hours to fix, so I dropped off the car on Saturday at 10am. However, they called me at 4pm and said it wouldn't be ready until Monday morning. I was left without a car on Sunday, and they didn't offer a rental car. Finally, on Monday morning, I picked up the car, tested the heater to make sure it worked for more than three minutes, and everything seemed fine. However, when my husband noticed that the back of the seat was loose, I took it back to the dealership on Tuesday morning. I told them the clips were broken and needed to be replaced. The service advisor came out, wiggled it, and said it was just loose. They took it to the back and "fixed" the issue. It looked good and didn't wiggle anymore. Everything seemed fine for about three weeks, but then my daughter got in the back seat and tried to put a book in the pocket behind the passenger seat. The entire back seat came off. It turns out they had "fixed" it by gluing the tabs on. I called to report the issue and made an appointment. Luckily, this time it only took a week to get an appointment. When I brought it in, the service advisor and mechanic came out to look at it. The clips were indeed broken, just as I had told them before. The mechanic asked why they didn't order a seat back when they repaired the seat heater, as there was no way to access the seat without breaking the clips. If they knew this, why didn't they order and fix it correctly? They fixed everything, and it was working fine. In October, my check engine light came on, so I took it back to the dealership. They diagnosed it as a faulty oil pressure sensor and had to order the part. I had to bring it back four days later for the repair. They fixed the sensor, but the computer still showed the same error. Upon further inspection, they found that a rodent had chewed through the soy-based wires in the engine. They initially quoted me $4,000 and told me to contact my car insurance company because it wasn't covered by the warranty. However, there have been many complaints and lawsuits about these wire harnesses. I spent the whole day on the phone trying to start a claim with my insurance company. Finally, I got the claim number and called back to give it to the service advisor. He then told me it would only cost $550 and there was no need to involve the insurance company. I insisted on proceeding with the claim, but he got an attitude and was condescending, saying it didn't make sense to involve the insurance company for such a low price. He originally said it would take two days, but now he said it would take two weeks. I didn't care; it needed to go through the insurance. He tried to convince me for ten minutes not to use the insurance company and then said, "Well, call me when you've decided what you want to do." I told him, "I've already told you, and it needs to go through the insurance." I will NEVER use this dealership again, whether it's for warranty issues or not. I'm willing to drive to Orlando if necessary.

I got some work done on my car at DeLand Kia, and part of it involved taking off the bumper
I got some work done on my car at DeLand Kia, and part of it involved taking off the bumper. But when I picked up my car, I noticed that the bumper wasn't properly attached. So, I let the company know about the problem, but they said they didn't do it and wouldn't fix it.
I've been tryin' to get my car's engine fixed for almost a year now and been tryin' to figure out why my engine was guzzlin' so much oil
I've been tryin' to get my car's engine fixed for almost a year now and been tryin' to figure out why my engine was guzzlin' so much oil. When I complained 'bout it, I was still under warranty to get my engine replaced. They flat out refused to do any searchin' in the engine, refused to actually fix the problem, and told me to keep comin' back every 500 miles until they used up my warranty on the mileage.
HARASSMENT
HARASSMENT. I did the KBB value on my car, and they sent me a message. I asked where they were, and they said Deland. I mentioned that I live too far, in Jacksonville. However, they continued to message, call, and text me. I told them to stop multiple times, but they responded sarcastically and rudely. I reiterated my request to stop, and eventually blocked them. Despite that, they still messaged me repeatedly, every day for a whole week. They just won't stop. This is harassment. Brian, the sales associate, is the one responsible for this. I spoke to the manager, JD, but there was no apology or resolution. Instead, the texting continues.

I bought a car from DeLand Kia and wanted to return it within a day, but they wouldn't let me
I bought a car from DeLand Kia and wanted to return it within a day, but they wouldn't let me. On Sunday, 12.27.20, around noon, I purchased a 2012 KIA Telluride for almost $43,000. I drove it home and parked it in my garage. The next morning, at 5:30 AM, I asked to return the car. I offered to pay them some cash for the inconvenience. Manny C, the sales manager, responded by offering to buy the car back for $31,000, which means I would lose $12,000. I don't think that's fair since I only drove it for 100 miles and wanted to return it within 24 hours.
I bought a car to tow a lil' trailer, but the salesperson at DeLand Kia didn't tell me the truth 'bout its towing abilities
I bought a car to tow a lil' trailer, but the salesperson at DeLand Kia didn't tell me the truth 'bout its towing abilities. On April 16, I went to check out a 4WD Sportage, but they didn't have it. Instead, they gave me a 2021 Kia Seltos and said it could tow a trailer. But guess what? After I bought it, I found out that the manufacturer never meant for this model to tow a trailer 'cause they don't make a wiring harness for it. Now it's illegal for me to tow 'cause I can't find a harness for the trailer lights.
02/15/2022 Deland Kia charged me a dealer fee of $999.00
02/15/2022 Deland Kia charged me a dealer fee of $999.00. The lease agreement says "If you buy the Vehicle through the originating Dealer, instead of the Purchase Option Fee, you will pay a fee to such Dealer in the amount of $ N/A. The manager of the dealership said "N/A" doesn't mean Not Applicable. It means To Be Determined. He said it's a law that they gotta charge me a dealer fee 'cause I was buying the vehicle. The finance person told me, after he excused himself to talk with the manager of the business, my only option would be arbitration. I filed a complaint with Corporate Kia and the Florida Attorney General office. I contacted the dealership and asked 'em how to start the arbitration process and they told me to "get a lawyer".
I bought a Sorento with cash on Nov 4, 2021 from DeLand Kia
I bought a Sorento with cash on Nov 4, 2021 from DeLand Kia. Still waiting for my permanent registration, stuck with a temporary tag. I went to the DMV and they said Kia hasn't sent the paperwork. Dealing with this has been a hassle. I've been to the dealership twice, which is a long 76-mile round-trip from my home. I've called DeLand Kia multiple times, but mostly got voicemail. When I did talk to someone, it was always a different person with different excuses. One time they blamed a computer glitch, another time they said they didn't know, and then they told me I had to come in and sign a title. Shouldn't all this have been taken care of on the day of sale? Clearly, someone at Kia doesn't know how to do their job. I told them to overnight any documents I need to sign because I refuse to go back there. They haven't apologized or offered any compensation for the trouble and inconvenience I've faced. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I won't be buying another vehicle from them. Enzo *** was the salesman. Enzo, if you're reading this, I need my title and permanent registration. I hope you can help me. Thanks, Suzanne *** 9 *** Trail *** Beach XXXXX (XXX)XXX-XXXX
Deland Kia service department lied about the federal guidance for tire repair and patched my tire unsafely against guidelines
Deland Kia service department lied about the federal guidance for tire repair and patched my tire unsafely against guidelines. I went to Deland Kia on 6/13 for an oil change. They said my rear passenger tire had a small nail in it. They said it was a tiny leak that could be patched, but not necessary. I returned on 08/31 for my next oil change and tire rotation/balance. The service sheet says they performed the services, but when I left, my tires hadn't been balanced or rotated (confirmed by Derek W, the service manager, when he inspected them today on 9/5). I called Derek and he said to bring the car back today and they would fix it. He looked at the tire and said it could be patched. They patched it, but on my way home, the patched tire blew out, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. I tried to contact the General Manager, Jonathan D, for a solution, but he never called me back. Derek accused me of slicing the tire on my way home because it "looked sliced." He put my life in danger by lying about the tire being patchable. The most they would do was replace 2 of the front tires and refused to replace the other two. That's not how you handle a situation where someone's life (and others) is at risk. Derek, the service manager, just wanted to argue that it was my fault. I attached photos of the nail and the blowout of the patched tire.
I took my car to DeLand Kia on August 19, 2022
I took my car to DeLand Kia on August 19, 2022. I told them my car was stalling, and they said I had to pay a fee for a diagnostic check. I agreed, but after waiting all day, I didn't hear anything from the dealership. So, I went in and they told me to leave my car there and suggested getting a tune-up. However, even after the diagnostic check, they still didn't know what was wrong. They gave me a loaner car, which I appreciated. When I finally picked up my car, the problem was still there. So, I took it back and explained that the issue persisted. They mentioned it could be the fuel pump, but they wanted to do another diagnostic check, which didn't make sense since they had already done one and still didn't know the problem. Frustrated, I left and called corporate on August 31. I explained my situation and they gave me a claim number ***. They said I should receive a call within 24 to 48 hours and that they would find a solution. However, nobody ever called me, so I called them back. I called on September 2nd and was on hold for an hour. Finally, someone picked up, but they hung up on me. Today, I called again because they were closed yesterday for Labor Day. I was on hold for almost 2 hours before someone answered, but they couldn't help me. They kept giving me the runaround. Eventually, I asked to speak to a supervisor, but I was transferred to an answering machine. Nobody is trying to help me, and I'm without a car and $430. It's ridiculous, especially considering that we have bought 3 vehicles from them. I recently found out that I'm not the only one experiencing this treatment. Please assist me.
On September 18th, I went to DeLand Kia Dealership because I got an email saying they would give me $5k more than KBB for my 2020 Kia Soul
On September 18th, I went to DeLand Kia Dealership because I got an email saying they would give me $5k more than KBB for my 2020 Kia Soul and a $5 visa gift card just for stopping by. I thought maybe I could trade in my car for something new. But boy, was I wrong! First, I dealt with a salesman who was really rude (seems like that's normal based on the Google reviews). I immediately asked for another salesman because I didn't want to deal with his attitude. So, I got another salesman named Luis R.
We looked at the 2022 Kia Soul models, but I never gave them permission to check my credit (even though they lied and said they didn't). They ran my credit through multiple lenders without my consent. Then, they came back three times with numbers that were impossible to work with. When I said I was leaving, the salesman brought over a really obnoxious Wolverine fan (he was wearing a Michigan hat because it was college gear day). He actually said that "KBB was run by some guy out of his garage and didn't mean anything." What kind of nonsense is that?
Well, I knew it was a bait and switch scam (as mentioned in the Google reviews), so I left after the finance manager was rude and obnoxious. They also didn't give me the gift card, which I found out is false advertising. There are so many unhappy people in the Google comments, they could probably start a lawsuit. I left a really angry 1-star review, but they conveniently didn't respond. Yet, people who left 1-star reviews six months ago got responses.
I'm really frustrated and I need my car fixed by DeLand Kia for my 2015 Kia Soul
I'm really frustrated and I need my car fixed by DeLand Kia for my 2015 Kia Soul. I got a letter from NHTSA about a Safety Recall for my car, saying there's a problem with the catalytic converter that could cause damage from overheating. I didn't have any issues with my car before, so I made an appointment for service on 05/07/22. But when I brought it in, they only upgraded my EUC and didn't replace the catalytic converter. After the service, on 05.16.2022, my car suddenly stopped accelerating on the highway. I had to slow down and pull over to avoid any accidents. I hadn't had any problems before I brought it in for the "Safety Recall." I had to call my insurance company to tow my car from the side of the road on the highway. They took it to a nearby mechanic, who diagnosed the problem a few days later and said the catalytic converter was overheating, causing the loss of power. So I had my insurance company tow it to DeLand Kia on 05.20.22. On 05.20.22, Kia contacted me to say they got my car and would diagnose it and keep me updated. On 05.24.2022, Krystal G contacted me to say they were waiting for a response from Corporate to see if the catalytic converter was covered by warranty. But this isn't a warranty issue, it's a safety recall. Now Kia says the problem is the vehicle speed sensor. My car has been at DeLand Kia since 05.20.22, and it's causing a lot of problems for me.
Kia took advantage of an elderly man with dementia
Kia took advantage of an elderly man with dementia. An 88-year-old with Alzheimer's went to Deland Kia on Friday 4/3 to fix his 4-year-old Kia. He ended up leaving several hours later with a new car that he didn't need or want and can't afford. Due to his Alzheimer's, he easily gets confused, which is evident when you talk to him. He claims he told the salesman that he didn't want to buy a new car, he just wanted his car fixed. However, he couldn't properly explain what was wrong with his car. He was informed that fixing his car would take several days and he would either have to rent a car or buy a new one. It's possible that there was nothing wrong with his car, and if there was, it could have been fixed under warranty. The car is 4 years old with only 15,000 miles on it. They took advantage of his cognitive issues and added expensive add-ons to the purchase, such as Car Care Service Plan for $999, Vehicle Protection Plan for $650, Dent Wizard for $593, and GAP Enrollment Charge for $995. He spent several hours in the office and was tired and confused since he didn't even get a drink of water during that time. He vaguely remembers signing and initialing documents that he didn't understand. When questioned, he couldn't provide any details about the sale, like the sales price, trade-in value, interest rate, or finance terms. We reached out to Deland Kia on Saturday night but haven't received a response. When we called the salesperson, John, today and asked about canceling the contract, he hung up. My brother-in-law went back to the sales office this morning, but they said there was nothing they could do and claimed they couldn't be expected to know about his mental confusion since they're not doctors. We tried to get the Service Manager to look at the old car, but they said they no longer had it and didn't know its whereabouts.
My complaint is that this company had false advertisement and lied to me when trading in my vehicle and purchasing theirs
My complaint is that this company had false advertisement and lied to me when trading in my vehicle and purchasing theirs. On 11/24 I was watching TV when an add came up for Deland KIA. ThisTV add stated that if you purchase a car from them you could get up to $10,000 of your trade in, up to $10,000 off a new car, and 0% interest for 75 months. I went to KIA because I had negative equity on my 2019 Chevy Equinox Premier. I was contacted by my selling agent to make a deal on a new one. My agent told me I would have to pay $10,000 cash to get out of the negative equity. I didn't have that cash to do the deal so I dropped it. After seeing the ad my thought was that I could get out of the negative equity, purchase a new car, and lower my payments. When I called Deland KIA I informed them of my intentions was to get more for my trade in and lower my payments. I was told to come to the dealership and they would work something out. I was met by a salesmen named Louis O. I told him what I wanted to do involving my negative equity. He said no problem and lets go look at some new cars. We did and told him i was interested in a AWD vehicle. We couldn't find one in the model I wanted. We then looked at a KIA Seltos. I like that car and picked one out. We then went into the dealership and we sat down. Instead of Louis working the deal a salesman named Manny C came to the desk and he started to work the deal. I had gave them the information on my vehicle. I told him that I had negative equity and wanted to see if we could get that amount taken care of and work a deal. He said he knew I had negative equity but would work with me. He left and came back a few minutes later and showed me that my car was had negative equity and that I had a 84 month payment on it and I still had 75 months left on the payments. I told him I got the car at the end of 2018 and didn't think I had that much left. he told me I did. So he told me that I couldn't get the car I wanted but their was another car I could get that had more rebates with it. So Louis took me back out and we looked at the KIA Sportage. It wasn't really the car I wanted but wanted to get rid of my negative equity. That was my intention all along so I went in to make a deal. Again I was talking to Manny C. He showed me my negative equity and tried to get me to pay $630.00 a month. I then told him that I was trying to lower my payment. He said that since I was only financing for 75 months I would be saving money and got a great deal since I had negative equity. I asked him if I could get it down to $600.00 a month. He said if I put $500.00 down we would go in at $600.00. Now all this time I am thinking that I am getting rid of my negative equity and since it was only 75 months that I was doing that. So with that in mind I went and signed the papers. After that instead of a paper agreement they put it on a usb device. I left with the new KIA and my Chevy Equinox was left there. A few days later I decided to look at the usb device to check out my agreement. I was astonished to see that not only did I not get rid of my negative equity it was raised. to $15,716.87. See enclosed, *** contract. I was so upset that I couldn't sleep. I called them after the holiday. I talked to Louis and told him how upset I was and that I got screwed on the deal. I told him i wanted my car back and they could take their car back. He said he would talk to them about it. He called back and was told that his manager, Shawn M said they couldn't do it. They gave me a paper, see enclosed ***, on what I should say when I fill out a survey. I didn't say that and gave them a bad review. I contacted the KIA complaint department but didn't resolve anything. I called KIA and talked to Shawn M personally about getting my car back. I was told he couldn't do anything and saw my response to the survey and stated that if I had not gave a negative response they could have done something.
DeLand Kia refuzes to fix issues they caused after routine oil change
DeLand Kia refuzes to fix issues they caused after routine oil change. Derek w. Was extremely rude and unprofessional bought 18 kia sportage used on 6/11 from Robert Very nice at the time of sale, during test drive car had to be jump started and he assured me the battery would be replaced. 5 months later 10/14 come back for a routine oil change. Upon leaving, the tire pressure light turn on indicating low pressure and shows all 4 tires at 28psi. Didnt think anything of it and refilled the air back to the recommended 35 psi once refilled tires I noticed a vibrating in the back of the car while driving with son (he's the one who pointed out my car was shaking) since he sits in the back, i call kia and set up at appointment to bring in car to take a look. Sometime in early Nov I drop off car they take a look and say it's my tires, that a belt had gone bad and because I just recently bought the car from them they would replace the front 2 tires for free. I gladly accepted and was assured the vibrating would go away just drive around for a bit so they can balance out. Drove around for 2 weeks (note i work from home so only drive on weekends and small errands) and now the small vibrating is shaking the whole car, you cannot put something in the cup holder while on the highway it would shake out! called kia and set up appointment during thanks giving week which I missed and rescheduled for 12/4. On 12/2 while out for groceries car would not start due to battery being dead. I bring in my car on 12/4 and explain the vibrating of the back of the car and the battery issue which the initial mechanic advised I have gone past the warrenty for the battery which I assured him it should have been brand new from when I purchased from Robert h. he replies oh ok then you should be fine we will replace. After dropping off 3 hours later I get a call explaining the 2 tires in the back are bad need replace 408.94, battery defective 197 clogged washer pump screen 58 (washer pump unrelated to issue) which I decline all charges and advised this issue started after the oil change and should be something they fix on their end. Says he will have manager Derek contact me within 10 min, Derek calls me and explains same thing saying they will not cover the charges its out of the used vehicle warrenty which is 60 days says he didn't even have to replace the 2 front tires did this out of courtesy and that I should have reported as soon as I left and saw the same issue. I tried to explain over the phone I did report the issue and the mechanic advised for me to drive it around to balance out the new tires which in fact made the vibrating worse! We kept going in circles explaining he's the manager and nothing else we can do will ask the sales team. So I hung up and went to the dealership myself spoke with the sales floor manager said he understood and would get with the servicing manager Derek again. Waited for about 45 min till Derek was ready to talk to me going over all the same thing saying an oil change would not cause this which I agreed except the fact that all 4 tires were lowered to 28 psi and thats when the vibrating started! As for the battery was never replaced and out of warrenty. Asked to have Robert come and sort thing out with the battery. At first Robert tried to play it off saying "I promised what?" which I had to remind him I was contigant on purchasing the vehicle only if I got a new battery which he later faintly remembered and offered to purchase it himself which I accepted, but back to the tires they would not do anything, kept saying they replaced the 2 front tires which they did not have to which I replied that did not fix the issue if you replaced the tires and vibrating stopped then I would be happy but it did not. Things got heated and Derek raised his voice at me which I did match he later even called me a child and to get out of his office then left me with Robert which I talked to for awhile and he even got frustrated telling his coworker I'm going pay for the battery to shut this guy up! This is the post sale cust service they provide.
A few weeks ago I left my info with a used car lot in Longwoid about a used car. Now, I’ve been getting texts and voice mail from Deland Kia. I’ve several sales associates to remove me from their lists. Now I’m still getting more calls. Your sales personnel must not have nothing to do. Stop calling me! Get a life!
