Avoid this garage and any cars they have. Left a deposit after they agreed to fix the problems with the car for them to change there mind on what was to be fixed and then just lie about it.
And of course they keep the deposit.
Apparently rust is "complete non issue" unless u can shove ur fingers through it
They would have happily sold me a car with dangerous brakes that did fail a MOT if I hadn't mentioned it at time of viewing.
Now I have read the other negative comments about the owner being rude aggressive. I can confirm this is still the case.
Desired outcome: Deposit back, would never buy car from them now
Payed deposit back.
Customer Service Car Sales
Saw a lovely Audi TT on a well known second hand car website. Made enquiries which led me to Martin and Drumgray vehicles. After two or three emails I was sent a link to pay a reservation deposit of £200 to reserve said vehicle as I was out of the country. Made payment and agreed to view vehicle in about a week or so time. Following Saturday noticed that the car was no longer on the website of Drumgray vehicles so called to check it was still available. The employee who answered the phone wasn't able to tell me so I asked to speak with Martin. Was told he was with another customer and he would call me back later. No callback. On Monday called again ..told Martin was out the office but they would take my number and pass it on and Martin would call me back. Once again no callback. So on Tuesday day before making a 2 hour drive wanted to again confirm car was still available. When phone was answered the employee was again uncertain about the car status and I mentioned I and called in Saturday and on Monday and been promised a callback...and could they update me on the status of the car. I was then passed on to Martin who then told me yes the car was there...but didn't like the way I had spoken to his staff...I explained I had only asked about the status of the car and had been promised callbacks twice which never happened so therefore should I be buying a car from such a garage with this kind of customer service. At this Martin then told me not to be "aloof" ...and threatened to inform the company I work at about my behaviour...and in all the 27 years experience he knows how to tell someone is aloof or not ... Surprising considering there is something such as customer service.. so he then told me he didn't want to do business with me so I asked for a refund of my reservation deposit which he told me I have to drive there to collect it .. ha! Yeah watch me...waste not only 2 hours of my life but what is there waiting for me? Surely he can simply make a refund to the card used for payment and move on... But no...he wants to make it difficult. And after reading the other complaints about this company I would not recommend them to anyone ..
Desired outcome: Refund of reservation deposit or he can use it for customer service training...
Owner has called me and told me deposit will be repaid. All good now.

Rude customer service/didn’t refund deposit as promised
Disappointed with customer service
My daughter put a deposit down on a Ford Mondeo 2013 £4495, after seeing it advertised as excellent inside and out. When her partner arrived with me to see the car, the bodywork wasn't as described, the back bumper had been resprayed (different colour to bodywork) and wasn't held on with all brackets so moving about. All alloys were bubbling with rust. Brake discs were pitted and grooved badly. Roof rack bolts were cut off and not properly removed from car. We drove over an hour to get there. When we tried to discuss these issues with the guy, he grabbed the trade plates from me and said your not wasting anymore of my time and stormed off back to the office saying l will get your deposit for you. He then came out saying l can't refund the deposit just now as it was done online, get your daughter to call me tomorrow. When my daughter called, they hung up on her and didn't answer again. She emailed them requesting her deposit, he sent a reply email stating she wasn't getting her deposit back, and stated what did she expect from an 2013 car. The advert did not reflect the correct condition of the car. Given that my daughter has just had a baby, they cannot afford to lose £100.
Desired outcome: Deposit returned

Where to begin...
After many long hours searching for cars I found 3 I liked at Drumgray Vehicles. i phoned the garage to ensure they still had all 3 in the garage and I was told they did. After traveling over an hour to view the cars when arriving I was told they didn't have one of them it had already been sold.
One of the other cars I liked wouldn't start because the battery was dead when they knew I was coming to view it. The last car was one I had been looking around other garages for so had an interest in already. I then asked to take this car for a test drive and the car salesman responded "if you are serious about the car". Then took the car out for a drive, really liked the car and wanted to move on looking at purchasing the car.
I then went into the office to discuss finance options the car salesman came across unfriendly and extremely unprofessional which I was appalled by. He started arguing over certain matters discussed which then led to me rethinking whether I wanted to go through with the purchase of the car. I then began to discuss possibly looking elsewhere for a car which seemed to tremendously annoy him and it was made clear to see through his scoffing and head shaking. He then went on to say "if you were not certain about the car you should not have asked to take it on a test drive, the director is going to kick my arse in now".
After this was said I definitely had no interest in purchasing the car as a result of the shocking customer service shown by this 'salesman'. After deciding against the purchase of the car he didn't exchange any further engagement or show us out he just completely blanked us. Due to this salesmans behaviour, manner and atrocious people skills it cost the garage a sale of a car, had it not been for this man I undoubtedly would have went through with the sale.
Words can not describe how much of an outrageous experience this was I have never dealt with anything remotely similar. Nobody else should have to deal with this experience in the future. Buying a car should be an enjoyable experience where you feel the company and salesman has your best interest at heart and this experience could not have been further from this.
