Incorrect order
I placed an order at 11:35 and I was told the order would be ready by 11:58, I arrived at 11:51 and I waited 10 minutes. When the lady gave me the bag, I paid her then checked my order which was wrong. I ordered Chk Tender dinner, seasoned fries and regular fries as my sides. I tried to order from the restaurant and my ordered was canceled within minutes claiming the restaurant wouldn’t confirm the order. So I called to place an order and the customer service agent said he tried to reach the store but no one would answer. So I called the store myself and every time the line was busy for over an over like they took the phone off the hook. So I drove over there and I found the workers out back sharing a blunt and cigarettes. They said the phone was not working which I found off because the restaurant barely had any patrons. What it looks like is this location is a drug pushing hangout for dope dealers and the homeless. I am a tourist and I expected better aesthetics as well as a better staff. I will never recommend or patron this terrible establishment again.

Turkey Dinner
Went for turkey dinner Christmas Day. Menu showed a picture of the dinner. It came on a side plate with little slice turkey and veg, potatoes and dressing was all soggy an mushed together. I showed manager the picture they advertised and he said, We cook what Denny’s gives us and that’s your dinner. I will never eat at Denny’s again ! We sent our food back and replaced our order. Chicken w gravy was awful and very salty. This location is 167 street and 127 Ave in Edmonton AB. Just terrible

My husband, kids and I went to dennys in corsciana tx, the entire place was freezing cold, I ordered the slumberjack meal, the sausage was undercooked, the eggs were over done and the entire time it took to bring the food out was an hour. I complained to the staff ad they said nothing but "ok" . The cooks were listening to rap music and the service was completely trash. Never eating here again.

Unsanitary Workers
This morning Dec 3, 2022, I was sitting at Denny's waiting for my food to arrive by a mid 60's waitress who i noticed was rubbing her face, scratching her nose, continuously moving her hair out of the way and serving food. This is unacceptable service, then another employee, who was mopping the floor, proceeded to help serve food. I didn't see her wash her hands but I did see her move her hair from her neck occasionally while serving food again unacceptable. I was sorely disappointed with the service and the wait time. By the way the food was greasy, I didn't get the wheat toast I asked for but I didn't return it nor did I get the crispy bacon. This was the Denny's in Round Rock, Tx. I will not be going back there until there is adequate re-training and gloves worn when serving food. COVID is still present and this is FLU season.

Every time I come in there’s an issue with dennys in Harbison,Blvd .in columbia ,sc .when I ask abut a specific item ,there’s an issue .when I ask abut more napkins or a specific food item that u advertising they lie and tell me that it’s not either there that day or they ran out .I asked abut a specific food plate .the customer replied to me we don’t have it in stock .but while I waited patiently in my seat for my order she offered it to another customer .I thought u said that it was a issue with that product or u didn’t have it .when I ask to speak to a manager,u tell me she is not there .but every time I come in she or he is standing in the back staring me down looking at me .

My visit at the Denny's #9233 in West Memphis Arkansas in side the Flying J was the worst I ever had at any of the many Denny's restaurant's that I've been to.
And I've been to many all over the usa.
First off it took them almost an hour to bring me my food.
I ordered the 55+ chicken fried steak with white gravy, corn in a separate bowl, and substitute one of my sides with a cup of chicken noodle soup. And a coke to drink.
After almost an hour they finally bring me my food. No silverware...
I didn't have any silverware to eat with. They gave me a fork and a knife.
I asked for a spoon for my soup, 2 times but still never got one. And they were out of crackers. I ran out of my coke half way through my meal. And they never came back to my booth. So no refills.
They didn't even bring me my check.
Then when I got to the register to pay my bill.
He looked it up. And printed out my bill for me.
And I see they charged me 50 cents for the soup.
I mentioned that on the menu it says 55+ chicken fried steak and 2 sides and you can substitute one of the sides for ether a salad or a cup of soup.
He wouldn't take off the 50 cents that I shouldn't have been charged.
And he was taking forever to do anything.
I'm very disappointed in the service that I received. And I'm very pissed off about having to eat my chicken noodle soup with a fork. And not a spoon..
Come on really.
That's pretty messed up.
And having to finish half of my meal without having anything to drink to wash it down with.
I'm very disappointed and upset..
I eat at a lot of Denny's.
But I'll never eat at this one again. And I'm truck driver and I'm going to tell everyone about this. And recommend that they don't eat hear either.
Worst Denny's ever.
And because of the very bad service and neglect that I received, I didn't leave a tip.
A tip is earned. At least a little bit.
And there was a lot of workers in there standing around doing nothing. I seen at least 4 of them standing around doing nothing most of the time I was there.

My daughter ordered dinner through the Denny's online website for us on Sunday 11/6/22. She went to pick it up at the Albuquerque - San Mateo location, and when she arrived was told part of our order was unavailable. since we were charged for the items, she asked how we would go about being reimbursed and the waitress, Angie, was rude and told her she would have to go back online to get a refund. When my daughter question how that should be completed, and she rudely "tossed" our order on the table and saying nothing, went to the back of the restaurant. When she came back, apparently the manager, that, was with her and told my daughter the same thing. She would have to go online to be reimbursed. Realizing they might think it was a GrubHub or third-party order, she mentioned that to them, and they said they did not know what to tell her. She came home and looked online, saw where it indicated she was to go back to where she picked up the food and called the location. More confusion, more rudeness, and finally, Zack said he would leave a note for the quote main manager" to take care of refund. Needless to say we have never heard from anyone. I will be contacting corporate office.

I was hired to serve tables... One week after working brie morning shift person contacted me to talk about changing to morning shift. She asked if I could cime that afternoon. I couldn't make it she said then come tomorrow at 8a. She never mentioned anything about training or working a shift to me. I had planned on being in canyon that morning to doordash... I fell asleep without setting alarm. I overslept. My error was not calling in... I had to get to gainesville, texas to request community service and it was the last day... I hadvto doordash there to have gas to get there and also on the way home. When I showed up for work brandy said no call no show... A d that dm jason would be off til monday (she lied I was dashing on sunday jason was there... Note he never called me to get my side at all. So I work then the next weekend I worked sat night. It was busy I clocked iut around 1a. Ti go doordash... Donna wasccomplaining how she always gets jacked about people leaving w/o doing all side work. I told her before I went home later that morning I would cv one back by to help with the stuff that was left from previous shift. I did I got back at about 330a started till 5a. I did not clock in... She turned around and told dm that I door dashed on the clock (which is a lie) dm took me off the schedule again... First monday weekend without e en asking me my side... He has yet to talk to me. So I feel that I have been treated unfairly and that the dm did not handle th he situation fairly... And hevdies n. V or know what he is doing. He let brandy lead waitress fill out shedule... I spoke to him tues night before scgedule was made to make sure she put me on th ge schedule... He did not mention a thing bbc to me about what donna had said. So when I went in to see when I worked... I heard from waitresses that told me what donna had said... Those women up there are controlling him and he is not at the least he could have called me to tell me what us up and at least hear my side of the incident.
I am a hard worker I picked up on the pos system quick... I feel like those women are threatened by me for some reason. I am just trying to make it and get myself out of thus financial hole i'm in... A d someone at the dennys in canton texas has messed with my success there. I dont want the job at this point. Especially with management there. I would never do anything to mess with someone's livelihood or even think to lie a out someone to make them loose their job. That is not my mindset. I was a deli manager for ten years and I ran my own restaurant for 18 months until someone who had hate in their heart decided to burn it to the ground.

Curbside Order Late and Awful breakfast
Ordered breakfast online. Pickup time was 9:32AM. Order not ready till 9:53AM
Ordered 55+ Starter which was missing the Bacon; Toast was very hard around edges.
Ordered Scrambled Egg & Cheddar. Pancakes were very rubbery. Scrabble eggs were over cooked and dry. Of course, both breakfasts were cold and greasy.
I asked for curbside pickup but ended up walking inside of restaurant because my order did not come out.
Restaurant was very busy. Worker on break. People waiting to order and people waiting to be seated. And I'm here watching everybody, waiting for my breakfast
order.

Facility cleanliness
Visit to Dennys, McAlester, Oklahoma, October 16, 11:00 am:
This is by far the most disgusting dining facility I have seen in years. My family of six walked in to grease-trodden carpets filthier than most auto mechanic floors. The floor was covered throughout the entire dining area with crumbs of food and trash. Upon entering we were slapped in the face with a horrid grease/dumpster odor. We typically enjoy Dennys facilities and their great food. But I would be embarrassed to admit any affiliation with this nasty facility. It was not fit for a quality family dining experience with my young grandchildren. We turned around and walked out. A staff member or host never approached us as we contemplated our departure. I do not make habit of complaining. In 33 years of military life, I have learned to adapt to challenging environments. This facility was NOT busy at all. There may have been four customers. Now I know why. It is filthy! It wreaks in odor and is not conducive to family dining. I recommend someone from your leadership team pay this facility a visit.

Giving us our bill
We are at the Dennys in El Centro Californis, next to the Imperial Valley Mall on Dogwood Road. We have been finished with our meal for over 30 minutes and have asked a couple of different people if we could have our check. One of them even smiled and nodded his head when we asked. But we are still sitting here. The waiters walk by and look at us, but we cannot seem to get a check from anyone. We are honest people but we are really tempted to just walk out. This is ridiculous!
Desired outcome: Talk to the staff here about improving their customer service.

0954 09/27/2022 order # 392070 server Billie. Table 60 2 guests I asked for Over medium eggs no brown. The eggs came out over cooked the whites were brown, yolks were hard. I wanted eggs so I asked about poached eggs. I was told the cooks don't know how to cook poached eggs (but they are on the menu for Eggs Benedict). The cashier/manager was rude and condescending by saying "You will never get eggs medium cooked to order because they are fried in oil. ". Silly me. I eat at several other Denny's in the area at least once a week and when I travel I seek out Denny's, I almost always get nicely cooked eggs without browning or hard yolks. This is the first time I have ever written bad a review because I generally love eating in Denny's. I was charged and paid for the meal I could not eat because I lost my appetite because the food was not to my liking and yes poorly cooked eggs are an issue for me. I called after I left the store to find out who runs the franchise because I think the owner should know about the lack of quality product presented to guests. I was not given that information. I asked during a call to the store for my money back but it isn't about the money it is about quality and the poor representation of Denny's by the staff.

I had ordered online for a pick up between 606 - 611. I went in at 611 and told them I had an online order for Jacob. The young kid said it wasn’t ready and to have a seat. I sat there for 20 minutes waiting. As one of the waitresses as if anyone ordered salmon and I said I did as she proceeded to the rest room. 5 mins later she came back and to the you kid working the register that it was mine. He then brought it to me and told me I should have told him what I ordered! But he never asked me in the first place! I am very upset as my food is cold now! And they would not remake it or reheat it for me. I will not be going back.

I am writing to complain about your website, which is not easy to use. My husband and I were trying to order a dinner delivery, today, September 3. We both tried to submit the order and were defeated each time. At the bottom of the payment page was the credit card and number that we have been using. That card expired at the end of August, but we tried and tried to enter the new expiration date (and all the card information) and save it. It never took. We kept getting the warning that the card had expired, which was true, but, as I said, we were never able to enter the new expiration date. As a result, we gave up and had sandwiches for supper. The restaurant will not take phone orders except for pickup, and we weren't interested in that. So your restaurant lost the money it would have had, and in these days of record inflation, I wouldn't think that would make you happy. We have found your website difficult to negotiate before, but this time we were completely defeated. I suggest you make some changes. Thank you.

Discriminatory service
On August 5th, while here in Pennsylvania, after seeing the TV ad for the Grand Slam Breakfast special at $6.99 I searched for a nearby location, we drove half an hour to get to Bethlehem. We always go to Denny's while in Florida, consistently great food and service.
We were seated by the host/food runner/cashier.
The waitress eventually came to our table, brought coffee and water and disappeared until I waved her down asking for more coffee and could she take our order? I announced, "we want the Grand Slam Breakfast," and she jotted down the order and walked away. In the meantime, other tables sat after us, mostly Latinos as we soon discovered we were in a Latino area, who were served food before we were, who seemed to get the waitresses attention.
Finally, I flagged down the waitress and asked if she had put in our order. "No" I sent it back, but I had to resend to the kitchen - or some explanation I couldn't understand. Bottom line, the food runner dropped the plates. I had to ask for butter. I had to ask for syrup. I had to ask for sugar free syrup. Service was not good. Then the check reflected full price for the Grand Slam breakfast. When I asked the host/cashier/food runner I was told our Grand Slam wasn't on sale. He motioned to a saucer shaped placard on the glass door advertising the one that is on sale. Nothing from the waitress, and are you kidding me, nothing in the menu. This was a clear case of discrimination. Furthermore, in 10 days no one has contacted me regarding this matter. The GM of the location lied. In the file, he reported that he couldn't get through to my phone and left a message. We know he lied because he claimed he sent me a letter of apology, business card and coupons when my address wasn't even in the file. I hope Denny's reaches out; I will give them a chance before I contact my lawyer over blatant discrimination.

How were you discriminated against? You ordered a breakfast that was not on sale, your plates were dropped (it happens) and when you got your food, you had to use your big girl voice to ask for syrup.
